Hi girls! Today, I will give you my tips on how to ground your life around your needs and learning how to prioritize yourself as well as your well-being.
1. Creating a “happy” routine
What I mean by “happy” is creating a routine that makes you happy to wake up each morning. We all have little rituals that excite us; all you need to do is tap into them and apply them in your daily life. If running brings you joy, incorporate running in your daily routine. If it’s journaling, incorporate journaling in your schedule.
2. Reserving the end of the day for self-reflection
Because we get so caught up in the problems of our lives, we tend to forget to remind ourselves about our blessings. Telling ourselves about all the good things we possess allows for “nuanced”views of self. Distinguishing what we have a right to complain about and what we complain about simply for the sake of it makes ALL the difference.
3. Accepting the fact that we are constantly changing
Listen to me, you do NOT need to know every single aspect about yourself right now. In fact, you might not ever and that’s okay. One day your biggest priority could be school and the next month, it could be family. Your needs do not need to be cemented. Embrace the change and love every single part of your life’s evolution.
So much love,
A girl unfiltered 💋

𝐌𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 🍵
Hello beautiful humans, I wanted to share my morning and evening routine with you guys. I hope that it will inspire and motivate you! 💗 The times I wrote down are not an accurate, but more of an estimate that will differ depending on the day. My wake up and sleep time are goals for me at the moment. I want to get back into a good sleep rhythm before starting school (in less than a week).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
𝕄𝕠𝕣𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕣𝕠𝕦𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕖
6.35 Wake up and drink a glass of water.
6.40 Do either some calming yoga or meditate.
7.00 Make my bed.
7.10 Put on my my outfit.
7.15 Brushing my teeth, doing skincare and hair.
7.40 Journaling.
7.45 Check agenda, make to do list and planning.
7.55 Make breakfast and eat.
8.15 Go to school.
For this plan I took maximum time for everything. Because of this I will often be ready way before 8.15. During the remaining time on school days I will study, this can either be for school or for my own hobbies <3
𝔼𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕣𝕠𝕦𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕖
20.30 Clean my room.
20.40 Pack bag for tomorrow (if needed).
20.45 Pick out clothes for tomorrow.
20.55 Make a 'my day' post and journal.
21.10 Brush my teeth, do skincare and put my hair in a protective hairstyle.
21.20 (Optional) Meditate or some calming yoga.
21.40 (Optional) Read.
There is no clear time to be in bed in my evening routine. I have some very bed sleeping problems that I'm trying to get rid of by using some good routines, the goal is to get sleepy enough to go to sleep between 21.30 and 22.00. My intention is to start trying to sleep at 22.00 even if i don't feel sleepy. Since I'm still trying to get into a rhythm and don't know my ideal sleep time, my bed time may change.

Hey! I would like it if you could make a rountine for me please. I wake up at 6:30. Leave for university in an hour. Come back at 2:00. And sleep around 12:00. I would like for you to add activities like slot for studies( i normally study for 2 hours), and workout for 1 hour. Rest of the day i am free and of course few hours are dedicated for lunch and dinner etc..
Thank you. :)
Ofc! Here you go:
morning routine:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
6:30am: wake up, stretch a bit, drink water. additionally, you can do 10 pushups, or a one minute plank to start the day
6:40am: take a bath, finish with a minute of cold water (it's good for your health, or so I hear!)/if you prefer to take a bath in the evening, use this as extra time for anything you may need
6:50am: get dressed with clothes prepared the night before
6:55am: eat breakfast - take your time, rest a bit, open your phone and check any messages
7:10am: wash your face, do your makeup, brush your teeth
7:25am: make sure you have everything you need, fill a bottle of water (hydration is important!)
7:30am: time to leave! enjoy your day

afternoon routine
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
2pm: eat a healthy (or not) lunch. Take your time, you just got home, there's no rush :)
3:10pm: study for around an hour, with breaks when necessary. some examples: a 5min break every 20mins; a 10 minute break every 30mins...
until 5pm: after studying, use the remaining time to read/work on a hobby/anything you want. Try to limit time on your phone - avoid doomscrolling :)
5pm: workout time! grab your stuff and go to the gym - work those muscles, girl 💕
6pm: free time for 20 minutes / if you prefer to take a bath during the afternoon, nows the time! Make sure to have an everything bath once a week, and adjust your schedule to include it ♡
6:20pm: study time! Same thing as before
until 8pm: after studying, use the remaining time to read a book, write in a journal, meditate, anything that might interest you.
8pm: dinner time!
9:10pm: use this time to do anything you urgently need to do for the next day, and prepare your clothes for tommorow.
9:40pm: free time
10:30pm: if you want to, nows the time to turn off your phone. It's not really healthy using it right before bed (I'm a very big hypocrite) but you do you! Use this time to read, think about your day, or anything really - dont forget to do your skincare!
12am: goodnight!!

I want to enjoy just doing laundry and taxes with you. I want to greet you home from work and listen to you complain about your coworkers. I want to wash the dishes together, sneaking kisses here and there, laughing and pressing closer. I want to feel you washing my hair in the shower while humming along to the song on the radio. I want to see you reading our daughter a bedtime story. I want to fall asleep listening to you breathe and thank the universe for waking up next to you every day. I crave the routine.

WHAT IMPACT DOES SMOKING HAVE ON YOUR WORKOUT AND BODYBUILDING ROUTINE?
The primary preventable cause of death in the US is cigarette smoking. Each year, more than 480,000 Americans die from tobacco-related illnesses, including cancer, heart disease, and stroke. Smoking cigarettes not only puts your health at risk, but it can also impede your progress in the gym. Cigarette smoking has been shown to have a negative impact on both aerobic and anaerobic exercise performance. In addition, smoking cigarettes can lead to an increase in body fat and a decrease in muscle mass.
If you are a smoker, quitting is the best thing you can do for your health and your workout routine. There are many resources available to help you quit, including nicotine replacement therapy and other cessation aids. Quitting smoking is a difficult process, but it is one that is worth the effort.
The Effects of Smoking on the Body:
Smoking cigarettes exposes the body to a variety of harmful chemicals, including tar, carbon monoxide, and nicotine. Tar, in particular, is a highly carcinogenic substance that can lead to an increased risk of lung cancer. Carbon monoxide can also be harmful, as it can reduce the amount of oxygen that is available to the body’s tissues and organs. Nicotine, meanwhile, is an addictive drug that is known to cause increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, and restricted blood flow.
All of these chemicals can affect the body in a variety of ways. For example, smoking can lead to an increase in body fat and a decrease in muscle mass. It can also lead to a weakened immune system, an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, and an increased risk of respiratory illnesses.
The Impact of Smoking on Workout and Bodybuilding Progress:
The effects of smoking can have a direct impact on both aerobic and anaerobic exercise performance. When engaging in aerobic activity, smoking can increase the body’s recovery time and decrease its oxygen uptake. This can result in poorer exercise performance and a reduced overall endurance. Smoking can also have an impact on anaerobic performance.
Studies have shown that smoking can reduce the number of repetitions that can be performed, as well as reduce anaerobic power and strength.
Smoking has also been shown to reduce the body’s testosterone levels and decrease muscle mass. Unfortunately, these changes can make it difficult, if not impossible, to make progress in the gym, as smoking can reduce the body’s ability to stimulate muscle growth, repair damaged muscles, and produce energy.
Nicotine Replacement Therapy and Other Cessation Aids:
Fortunately, there are many resources available to help smokers quit. In particular, nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) and other cessation aids can be useful for helping people quit smoking. NRT is a form of therapy that involves the use of nicotine replacement products, such as gums, patches, and inhalers, to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Other cessation aids, such as medications and counseling, can also be beneficial.
Quitting Smoking for Good:
It can also lead to a decreased risk of heart attack, stroke, and other smoking-related illnesses. Quitting smoking can be difficult, but it is worth the effort in the long run. With the right support and resources, you can quit smoking for good and reclaim your health and exercise routine.

I would love to understand why my brain and body are desperate to not shower in the safety of my own home but perked up at the offer to go shower at the gym that’s full of people I don’t know and men who could pin me and locker rooms with open doorways and less control over cleanliness than I can get in my own apartment. Something something the years of swim practice and swim meet locker room showers being safe I guess?
#I’ll allow it#I’ll even encourage it if it can help me get over 6 miles walked per day again#but can I please fucking shower? I feel so gross#I have never in my life had as hard a time showering or bathing as I have this year and it’s been killing my self esteem#I feel like everyone knows I’m gross and I KNOW I need to shower#it’s important#and I don’t want my hair greasy or anything#but I go out of my way to avoid it except for an occasional hair wash or body shower when I need to go to an event#and it’s driving me CRAZY#cleanliness is really really next to godliness in my family and also I know everyone in the world views hygiene as a moral issue#and I CAN SHOWER I did it for YEARS I even did it daily for years I used to be SO good at always always doing at least the minimum#even if sleep deprived or sick#but now it’s like I’m stuck SCREAMING and slamming my palms bloody in a containment cell somewhere in the center of my concept of a body#BEGGING to just stop being so gross and to do a daily face routine and use lotion and keep my teeth healthy and keep my hair clean#and it doesn’t even matter#I’m so ashamed all the time#but my brain doesn’t give a shit about it anymore#it views the endless shame as a lesser evil and god I hope I figure out how to get that stopped#I don’t even get triggered in the shower!!! I don’t know what’s wrong! my brain just does everything it can#to keep me from undressing and showering#no matter how much I hate it#and this is so tmi sorry oh god#I’ll probably delete this later#but#shh katie#add to journal#is it the dissociation? is it the adhd? is it the ptsd?#FINALLY my POTS symptoms chill out for the winter and now THIS?
