Steph's Year of Recovery

So! Danny noticed that a new face had made it's way into town. Two new faces actually, an older lady known as Dr Leslie, and a girl about his age called Steph.

He first met them when he was at the hospital for one of his parents. They had stood too close to an explosion again, and he met them while he was in the waiting Area.

Dr Leslie was a strict but obviously caring older woman, who seemed to be the one taking care of Steph as a kind of maternal figure, or maybe more like an Aunt. She greeted him simply and then walked away to talk with the Secretary, leaving him to talk to Steph.

Steph was a blond girl in a Wheelchair, and he could see bandages piking out of her clothes as he talked to her. She explained that she had been in an Accident a few weeks ago that left her wheelchair bound for a while, and that she had come to Amity for their surprisingly good Medical Centers.

He and Steph got along really well, and by the end of it he asked her for her Number so they could continue talking later. They stayed in touch, and when she was finally permitted to leave the Hospital, he introduced her to his friends. They all got along like a House on Fire, both figuratively and in one memorable case very literally (Vlad had pissed them off okay!)

Eventually Steph recovered enough that she moved from a Wheelchair to Crutches, and their shenanigans got even more chaotic (Vlad hadn't even pissed them off, this time was just for fun)

The only thing Danny could complain about was the fact that Steph was hiding something from them.

She said that she had been in an Accident a while ago, which was why they had come to Amity in the first place. But Danny knew it was more than that.

He could sense lingering traces of Death coming from her after all.

Steph honestly loved her current life.

Sure she had lost everything, her home, her health, her friends, her life, but she had gained new things too! Like Danny and the Gang! They were honestly some of the best friends she had ever had, and for some reason they just clicked with her instantly.

Danny was interesting and funny, Sam was vegan and a badass, Tucker was smart and witty, they all fit with her personality perfectly! It almost felt like she bad been friends with them for years. (She ignored the way her heart skipped a beat when she saw them)

But she still couldn't shake the sense that they were hiding something from her.

She knew it had something to do with the Ghost Problem in the town. And wasn't that a kicker, there was a whole Supernatural Ghost Outbreak in this Town and nobody knew about it. Dr Leslie had said that Amity was off the map enough to hide from Bruce, but she hadn't mentioned it was hidden from the Justice League itself!

Danny, Sam, and Tucker definitely knew more about it than they let on however. Whenever a Ghost Attack would happen, at least one of them would rush off with some practiced excuse and return after the Ghost Attack was over all dirty. She could guess what was going on, and she really didn't like it.

(This had killed her, she had died doing what they were doing, she didn't want to lose them)

Eventually she had to confront them, coincidentally on the same day they decided to confront her.

"Are you Vigilantes?" / "Did you die?"

I went to an Ilan Pappé talk yesterdays - I really recommend his books if you've not checked them out already. He's arguably one of the worlds leading experts on Zionism and the "Israel"-Palestine conflict, so obviously everything he said was great, but what I want to highlight:

Someone asked him if he thought the protests and petitions and calling you reps and shit would work, and he said no, it never will. It's still important to do that but the powerful will never surrender their power to the powerless just because they ask for it. Asking the UK and the US to cut ties with their imperial outpost in the Middle East is like asking an animal to gnaw off it's own limb - it won't do it unless its only other choice is dying completely.

So who does have the power to put a stop to this, we asked. The working class of the imperial core. That's us, and we are the most powerful people in the world right now, because this war machine can't function without us. Movements like this can only be built from the ground up, so stop looking to the government and start looking to your community. We need to make it more unprofitable to support Israel than it is to cut ties with it.

This is a call to action. The people HAVE the power, and we have to use it. Yes, that's you. Contact your trade union, your workplace, your school, your church, your university. Your friends, family, any connections you have. As many people on board as possible, with one goal: shut it down. Take direct action now.

Anyways au where Monika and friends discover her admin powers but dont know about the wider context of what it means. So they just go around thinking Monika has magic and try practicing with a bunch of silly fun shenanigans because they figure it’s some chosen one bloodline stuff and not like. A product of their reality being a constricted digital science experiment.

This au will not end well

#my characters #she was (shocking to no one) a side character in a plot from forever ago and while i fleshed out her bg a LOT #she never got her own actual story ? the plot she was in had a lot of characters so her and her best friend myo were like... cameos #in other character arcs rip to she having her own #basically she had light powers and had a kind of whispy clear happy look (top)#and then the big bad guy corrupted her and she got dark powers #so myo and her start to think she is sick and then big bad shows up and tells myo that if he wants to help yuma - hed help #so he manipulates the two into working for the bad guys who id like to point out! think they're the good guys #so yuma keeps having cloudy and foggy memories and nightmares and she doesnt understand whats going on with her #and she tells myo who hasnt clued in yet and he tells her shes fine and shes too nice to do what she feels guilty for #and then after its all kinda said and done and the big bad dies the corruption disappears bc he was the one causing it #and at that point myo knows the horrible things hes kind of helped yuma do and the actual things yuma has done #and he goes to rem who a lot of people avoid since rem has mind reading and memory manipulation powers #and he asks if rem can help yuma forget everything bad #and rem - who is the unfortunate right hand of the big bad who feels so much guilt for everything he has done -#asks him if its what yuma wants cause it isnt his place to change it without her consent as well #bc rem was actually the one that yuma interacted with most outside of myo #but as far as actual plots and arcs rem was more important ? common? idk ? as a focus #so despite yuma having a lot of established background and drama she never had her own ... thing #but as the dark corruption gets to her she loses the clear stream vibes and is like an oozing oil spill #and it kinda festers into her becoming like an eldritch monster type being from the grief and guilt her conscious has #while polluted by darkness sooooo #she just kinda becomes a monster in the background of the plot its fine she gets better #and that was storytime in the tags bye

I know sukuna is often praised for his beliefs and the wisdom he "bestows" on others and as much as I love the guy and all the impactful dialogues he had with characters like jogo or yuuji, I also think he’s got to be the one of the most childish characters with mindset a of a 13 year old.

it's funny. I keep making all these posts defending Aziraphale and it's because there's this annoying trend in the fandom to villainize him while simultaneously woobifying Crowley, so there's a need for more Aziraphale perspective

If I have energy I want to draw out some designs for an au I'm spontaneously writing.

(Medieval times, there's a Prophecy. Nightmare rules over this kingdom and is supposed to complete this prophecy, he refuses to because it would harm the people. Dream was sent away and banished by Night because he was dis-illusioned into thinking the prophecy was a Good Thing abd what he was raised to complete. Night collected his Knights (Killer, Dust, Horror, and Cross most recently) and trains them and tells them the truth of the prophecy. They're loyal to him. One day the magic of the prophesy (Apple Magic) leaves Nightmare unexpectedly, returning him to the state he was in before he accepted the mantle. This puts a target on his back and gives Dream a huge advantage in maybe making a comeback. The Knight's decide that their King (newly a young lad and variably scared and frightened) must be protected and they run the kingdom as he normally would, while also ensuring he survives and that the prophecy can't be completed.)

#yes this is fueled from RealAge AU vibes #and yes I technically have circled back around to my own initial post but like #the visual of these specific guys who've had various hardships in their lives suddenly like... idk... gaining a purpose and a protector in #Nightmare then seeing him reduced to a fraction of what they'd known him as. and still deciding to follow and care for him?#this au gives off distinct Older Brother energy because Night is like... 13-ish and not young enough to #baby but not old enough to resume his duties immediately #and he's got this like... awkward teen anxiety suddenly flooding through him that he doesn't know how to cope with #so the guys turn around and use lessons Night taught them while they adjusted to help him #Night's weak from Magic-loss? well he used to make sure Dust got bed rest and a meal so that's what we'll do!#Night is losing a huge chunk of his autonomy? They found a hobby for Killer so what does Night like?#just... yeah #plus Dream fully believes his bro pushed him out due to greed for power and had gathered forces to rally with him during exile #so he's the returned golden prince #and I imagine here that the final stand involves the knights scattering to stop Dream's forces while Killer stays with Night (<- most loyal)#and Killer hides Night right before Dream shows #and Dream says a bunch of vitriolic stuff about how Night ran and sacrificed his men and such and cuts down Killer with a near fatal blow #and Night finally manages to get out of wherever Killer stashed him and there's a moment where #Dream is seeing his little brother abd Night is seeing the man who lost his rights to be called brother when he attacked his Knights #and like... idk man #also Error is definitely Night's court magician/wizard because he bends reality in ways it really shouldn't #and here Error is younger because. i. I like the idea of an Errormare subplot but also like. the idea of scary spooky Overlord NM looking at #the wizard who just turned a vase inside out who's like 10 and learning he's a runaway and sponsoring him? yeah that's silly.#turns out Apple Night appreciated Error's raw talent. after the fact Night realizes he admires Error. insane tonal whiplash from his Knights #who have Zero protocol for courtships and kinda like. just watch it happen after the chaos is over #Okay that's all. i need to do my homework

What if after the whole “bullshit conversation” with Nancy in the bathroom when Steve leaves he sit in his car with tears building up as he thinks about the previous events that just took place. Standing outside having a chat with his friends is Eddie and he notices Steve when he’s walking to his car in a rushed manner. From where Eddie is standing he can see through Steve’s window that he’s wiping his eyes and the expression on his face is just pure sadness. After he’s cried Steve takes a quick glance outside of his window catching Eddie watching him from a distance before quickly turning his head. Steve thinks that Eddie couldn’t see anything and just drove off without thinking about it while Eddie wondered what could’ve happened for Steve to cry like that.

If we assume that Alan wrote himself into the Entity's Realm and wasn't just sucked up by the Fog then there's a real possibility that, out of all the Survivors in there game, he's got the greatest chance of escape. Cuz why would he write himself INTO a situation that's (arguably) WORSE than the Dark Place without writing a way out? Unless the story started coming true before he could finish it (probably thanks to the Entity itself) and he got sucked up immediately after typing "so I went to a Worse Place"

But then if we assume that the Entity did just Grab him with the Fog, poor Alan just got magically teleported out of Hell (the Dark Place) and into Super Hell (the Realm). Poor bastard.

#i say that tge Entity's Realm is arguably worse than the Dark Place because Alan sounds like he's having the WORST time there #his voice lines are primarily him incoherently begging for somebody to help him #he sounds more put together in the Drowning clip in AWII 😭#reasons he could have written himself into this mess: he actively narrates part of his abduction in his trailer #reasons he might not've: the Entity can and WILL reach into messed up dimensions like the Dark Place #it grabbed Pyramid Head (somehow) from Silent Hill. or. what's the pocket dimension in Silent Hill called?#Fog World™?#anyway it also pulled Freddy from his Nightmare dimension #it was able to create a kinda facsimile of the Upside Down for the Demogorgon to use #the Entity is kinda ridiculously powerful and i dont have trouble believing that it could overpower the Dark Presence #to just steal Alan #but also idk #it sounds like he wrote himself in #so #why do that?#dead by daylight #dbd #alan wake #alan wake 2 #the dark place #the entity's realm #the entity #the dark presence
