a while back i was talking to some friends about their thanksgiving, and the big question was what insane out of pocket conversation starter that your family pulled over holiday dinner, and the general consensus was either like bigotry or borderline offensive conspiracy theories, but when it got to my turn, and they’re like “oh yeah what about you saturday?” and i was like “oh yeah um y’know………..mpreg” FOR CONTEXT i have a relatively eccentric family to say the least so there’s really no way of telling what will come out of our mouths and when or why, it’s just something you roll with; so i’m zoned out picking a cracker off the charcuterie board, my social battery is low, and i already got over the hard part (explaining why i’m not in college yet lol) when i’m curb stomped back into reality after hearing “did you guys know they’re letting men give birth now?? i think i read something about it they’re like taking hormones and everything.” PAUSE. I have a notebook full of story ideas for fanfics, and last night I got an idea. I wrote it down but then realized I had no sticky note to mark that page with, so I wrote on my arm: "3pbMoA", otherwise known as "3 pages before *title of another story*".

Well I'm known for drawing on my arms on occasion, and a girl in my class asked me what was on my arm. So I told her it was a note to myself and left it at that. But then she responded with "Oh." And that "Oh" sounded so disappointed that it kept resounding it my head and next thing you know I'm drawing on my arm.

This was a meaningless story, but that's the background behind this. Everyone have a great day! 🙂❤️

“Oh my god, Eddie, is that?-“

“Me? Sure is.”

I laughed as Robin flipped through an old scrapbook Wayne had kept from Eddie’s childhood, her finger lingering on one specific picture of a 6 year old Eddie, buzzed hair and a big goofy grin on his face, not much different from the one that he wore on a regular basis nowadays.

“Aww! Eds, look!” I squealed, pointing to a picture of him and I, no older than 8, arms wrapped around each other, sickeningly sweet smiles on our faces. He flashed a bright, toothy grin at the image.

“Do you remember when that was taken?” I asked, looking up at him from my spot on the couch. He squinted at the image for a moment, pondering.

“That was… our 3rd grade camping trip?”

“Yes!” I squealed, being met with a hearty laugh from my boyfriend. “I remember you screamed at Carver because he took one of your coloring books without asking.” He noted with another laugh.

“That’s what you remember from that trip?!” I started,

“Because I remember you forgot your baby blanket, and you sobbed the entire night.”

He threw his head back in a laugh, pink dusting his cheeks. “I almost forgot about that damn blanket.”

I sat with Eddie in the back of the bus, our feet dangling off the edge. I pulled my backpack into my lap.

“Okay! Bag check!” I announced, unzipping the bag and rustling through my belongings, checking off everything on the small paper list my mother had given me. Eddie followed in suit, rummaging through his bag before letting out a loud gasp. “My blankie!” He shrieked as anxiety took over his face. “Aww, I’m sure it’ll be okay for a few nights, Eddie!” I attempted to console him. He hung his head in response as I swung my arm around his shoulder, hugging him tightly.

Hours had passed since we had arrived at the campgrounds, the boys and girls being rushed off to separate tent areas.

As I laid down on the hard ground, shuffling uncomfortably in my sleeping bag, gripping onto my teddy bear for some similance of normalcy, I heard distant sobbing and whining. I quickly recognized it as Eddie. I shot up from my sleeping bag and carefully exited my tent, walking towards the other side of the grounds.

“Oh, honey, I’m so sorry you forgot your blankie…” I heard one of the older counselors try to console my sobbing best friend. “I wanna go home!” He hiccuped. The counselor made a sound of sympathy and rubbed his back as I approached, startling them both. “Henderson! What are you doing out of-“ I cut her off by promptly sitting down next to Eddie and pulling him into a tight hug. “It’s okay, Eddie!” I ran my hands up and down his back as he sobbed hysterically into my shoulder. “Sweetheart, you really can’t be over here with the boys-“ the counselor started before I quickly cut her off. “I don’t care about that stupid rule!” I snipped, “MY best friend is UPSET, and he needs ME!” I sassed. “I’m gonna stay with him!” I ended in a ‘hmph’. The counselor fell silent, almost baffled, as she looked at another counselor for guidance on the situation, and was met with a shrug. I promptly shoved my small teddy bear into Eddie’s arms. “Here, you can have Mr. Snuffles! I know he isn’t the same as your blankie, but he’s a great snuggler!” I chirped, flashing the boy in front of me a big smile. He looked at the bear, then back at me, and returned the same smile through tear stricken doe eyes, hugging the bear tightly in his grasp. “Thanks, Henderson.” He said, leaning on my shoulder. The camp counselor sighed heavily. “Okay, you two can share a tent, but it’s way past lights out, you need to get some rest.” Eddie and I looked at each other with big, toothy grins on our faces and quickly scrambled into the tent, shimmying back into the sleeping bags, Mr. Snuffles still tight in his clutches.

“Oh my god.” Eddie laughed again. “I forgot about Mr. Snuffles!”

“You were entirely inconsolable until I gave you that bear.” I giggled.

“God, you two were so cute!” Robin giggled, continuing to flick through the scrapbook.

“I like to think we’re cuter now, personally.” I shrugged, elbowing Eddie and smiling brightly up at him. He wrapped an arm around my waist, returning my smile with pure adoration in his eyes. I leaned my head on his shoulder, snuggling into his warmth.

“OH MY GOD. STEVE. EDDIE HAD BRACES.” Robin shrieked.

“Oh, sweet Jesus.” Eddie placed his hand on his forehead, his face turning bright red, causing me to cackle.

“Braces? Oh, I’ve gotta see that.” Steve sat next to Robin as they continued to giggle and chat about the pictures. I leaned back against the couch, intertwining my fingers with Eddie’s as we relished in the memories of our childhood together.

*she turns on the camera she secretly stole from Steve and smiles, “What’s up party people-oh and Rogers please don’t be mad at me for stealing your camera which I brought you! Also hi lovely viewer, I’m Estella Strange your friendly neighborhood doctor and magic user-oh daily reminder drink some water and eat something for god’s sakes! I know you’ll didn’t drink enough water today.”

“Anyways, so! This week at the household has been a little wack-ish. Take a look!”

The camera cuts to Avengers Tower showing everyone in the living room when suddenly Cole burst in though the door yelling, “Which one of y’all fuckers been in my room?! Don’t lie cause I will find out!” Everyone looks around as suddenly Michelle dashes out the door and Cole yells, “I KNEW IT! Rochelle’s your girlfriend is so dead!”

Rochelle responses, “She’s not my girlfriend!” Liane looks at her gasping “HUH?! You two broke up?!”

The redhead rolls her eyes, “You didn’t let me finish! She’s my future wife, just waiting for that proposal-” Liane chuckles rolling her eyes as Cole replied, “Whatever! Your girlfriend or future wife is so dead!”

*cuts back to Stella saying, “Told ya. For some reason everyone has been going into each other’s rooms lately or barging in at unexpected times. Take a look.”

We cut to Thiego cutting open a portal stepping into Cassandra’s room trying to steal some magic books then Cassie catching him as a argument shortly breaks out, then we cut to Jasper barging into the kitchen 3rd wheeling Luna and Rick’s Beauty & The Beast style dinner as the lovebirds blushing embarrassedly.

Liane and Ethan along with Mia and Nikolai accidentally barging Vice versa  while hanging out with their boyfriends as it turns into a fun awkward double date night. We also cut to Castiel going into everyone’s room scaring the shit out everyone! And the list goes on with footage of everyone-😬

*cut back to her saying, “Yeahhh it wasn’t pretty but at least everyone had fun..I think. Oh! I went skydiving with Sam, I couldn’t film that footage since I was scared shitless! But it was super fun. Before I leave off, some couple of things happened take a look!”

We cut to Rochelle’s starting to show even more and having a sweet baby shower with a few surprising guests, old faces returning and a couple of new face! Then we cut to Rei and Tyler having another stupid conversation while Mia and Nikolai, Michelle and Rochelle, Ethan and Liane stand off to the side eating popcorn watching as if it’s a movie waiting for the climactic moment. We then cut to Melissa and Victor becoming tech besties while everyone also meeting Clay.

We also cut to footage of Thiego dancing in the mirror and singing in the shower as his sister caught it all on video muttering under her breath and jokes, “Someone got some vocals.”

Last but not least we cut to everyone at the small—more like medium sized music festival as Tyler headlines his new songs, “Memorized”, “Breakeven”, “Paralyze” and much more. He even brings Michelle Danvers herself on stage to sing her own new song. Everyone cheering happily.

*Cut back finally to Stella saying, “And that was story of this week or at least what I can capture on this camera” Suddenly you hear Steve’s voice in the hallway yelling, “Has anyone seen my video camera? I can’t find it.” as Nat response, “I think Strange or one of girls has it.”

She hears this and gulp eyes widen turning back to the camera, “Okay I gotta go! Bye guys gotta study for my exams this Friday.” Then the camera turns off until next time and hidden back in the gym room where it originally was.

May have to tag this. I’ll break this into two parts since it has the potential to get long.

Your shift starts just after lunch, giving you 30 minutes to yourself. While most of the human staff relish those 30 minutes as time to get away from the noise of children, the grubby hands, the nagging of parents to do whatever they believe your job to be. You, a member of security, handle the latter half of the day and are spared the misery of customer service, children you’d never minded. Today you stick your head into Daycare, despite it being closed for maintenance after a light fell down onto someone. The attendant is no where to be seen. You shrug it off as management taking the opportunity to take him on a well deserved trip to Parts and Services and give a small wave to the technician fixing the light. You eat your lunch and watch the technician fix the light without incident, though how high the latter is brings you anxiety. Your watch beeps with your first notifications for your shift; ‘six warning signs missing, Chica scheduled for 2pm birthday party, location unclear’ Neither are particularly alarming-People move the wet floor signs all the time, and Chica occasionally wanders. It won’t take you long to find her, if she’s up to her usual activities. As you leave you call out just to make sure. “Bye Sun! Sorry I couldn’t talk today!” You listen for a moment, but only hear the hum of the newly fixed lights. You smile, hoping he got his trip to PNS. Off to find Chica and a little herd of signs!

49. how did you get your biggest scar? Okay storytime. I was about 11 years old and we were playing on one of these zipline things (see picture). Ours had an artifical grassmat tho. So basically when I was younger we used to do this thing called the superman. Where you hang on the stool in like a superman way. which is fine if you are 6 and light as a feather, but not when you are eleven and getting kind of tall and heavy. Basically the first time I did it was fine, just a bit close to the ground but oh well. The second time my friend was holding on to the zipline and running while pushing me and she kept pushing when I went back to that little hill. I was too heavy, going too fast and bare in mind there was artificial grass involved. My chin and shoulder hit the hill and I grazed my chin and shoulder. My chin luckily didn’t scar but my shoulder did. So that’s how I got my biggest scar 🙂

Many months after my last answer to this tag, here it is again in my blog! I was tagged by @bibliophilecats, thank you.

Questions for me:

1. What is your favourite movie and/or TV show based on a book? 

Are we counting The Lizzie Bennet Diaries? We're counting The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.

2.  When you just can’t get into a book, do you quit or do you finish every book you start, no matter what? 

I 99% of the time finish every book I start, be it because I'm stubborn or because I keep hoping for the book to get better in the end. A book must be incredibly bad or disgusting for me to not finish it.

3.  Which is your favourite bookstore?

I don't have a favourite, I don't go nearly often enough to bookstores (*chants* library girl, library girl) for me to really know them, but there are some very nice ones where I live and there's a second-hand one which I have to restrict myself not to buy everything every time I go there.

4. Do you keep all the books you read? Do you keep none? 

Well, no, because again... Library girl. But I do keep all of my ebooks (if they're mine and not from the library), and I do keep all my physical books at least a few years, even if I hated them.

5.  What is the rarest color on your bookshelf? 

 I don't think I have rare colours? I have grey, but that is fairly common. So I don't know.

6.  Is there a book that permanently changed you (opinions, style, fandom) when you read it?

Hi, Harry Potter, bye. 

Kidding, but not really because that series is one of the most important book series in my life. They really helped me to get into reading, and everything else is history (and came after).

7.  How do you unwind after a stressful day at work/school?

I procrastinate on the phone (Pinterest, Tumblr, etc.), and then I force myself to stop and read. Even when I'm not in the mood, reading always helps me.

8.  Which fictional friendship/relationship is your goal?

Um, I don’t know, there are so many... But I like to read about relationships/friendships when people are supported, loved, and they do things together because they genuinely enjoy spending time together.

9.  What is the one skill you wish you could master?

How to keep plants alive. And also how to cook. 

10.  You’re famous somehow and a University awards you one of those giveaway PhDs as a publicity stunt. What would you be a Doctor of?

I only dance at parties, and I never go to parties, so I don’t dance. Not even alone, it’s just not something I do. Sorry!
