“I’ll write to you,” he promises. “Every day.”

“I’ll write back,” she says. She’s pale, and her lips are red where she’s been biting them. She’s still impossibly beautiful to him.

“I’ll miss you,” he says. Riza sighs and looks away. He can see her throat bob as she swallows, and he suspects she is fighting back an emotional response on his behalf, maybe even willing herself not to cry. “It’s going to be okay,” he says as quietly as he can over the bustle of the other travelers. “Ria.”

She looks up at him, and he can in fact see a glimmer of tears in her wide brown eyes. Roy squeezes her hands and pulls her into his chest. Riza’s arms come around his middle, and she clings to him tightly, resting her forehead against the coarse fabric of his tan desert cloak.

He runs his hand up and down her back and sways slightly back and forth for a long moment. She shudders against him, and Roy’s throat grows tight.

“I’m sorry,” is all he can think to say.

And with that, I give you the last art of the beautiful fanfic that @lynyangell wrote and I can't believe this beautiful experience, Lyn is one of the most beautiful, kindest and truest ladies ever and I am just so honored to have worked with her on this project and I can't wait for you all to read and enjoy her beautiful writing 🩷

“Yes?” she breathes, looking up at him with those endless caramel eyes. He imagines he can see a reflection of his own yearning there, and he prays he’s not wrong.

“Can I kiss you?”

At her soft gasp, he pulls slightly away, an apology forming on his lips as his cheeks flame, but then she speaks.

“Yes. Please.”

He cradles her face in his hands and slowly angles her towards him as he leans in. He can feel her breath on his lips before he presses them against hers with as much gentleness and tenderness as he can muster.

I am sweet, an artist who had the pleasure of creating art for one of my all time favorite authors @lynyangell! She is one of the warmest people I ever met, a wonderful kind and very supportive lady, I am so deeply lucky to be paired with her I can't even express how much I adore her 🥺🩷

Over the course of the last month, she was wrote this fic under an event that is ran by @rene-of-the-blackouts called “ lets transmute together!” and I was honored to create some art to go along with it!! Hope you guys enjoy the first chapter that comes out TODAY!

Summary: When Roy Mustang returns to his Sensei's home seeking the knowledge of flame alchemy, he gains much more than he bargained for. Left alone and destitute, Riza Hawkeye has few other options other than to rely on the kindness and generosity of her father's former apprentice.

“I give you this ring as a sign of fidelity,” Riza repeats the clerk’s words. “All that I am, I give to you. I submit myself to you wholeheartedly, to be your obedient wife for all of my days and to cherish you in my heart as my husband.”

She slips the cool band of metal onto his left hand, and Roy smiles at her. Before the officiant can prompt him, he repeats his own vow, one that he’s come up with himself.

“Riza, I give you this ring as a sign of fidelity,” he says. “All that I am, I give to you. I swear to protect you and care for you wholeheartedly for all of your days and to cherish you in my heart as my wife.”

Hi hello surprise I am still alive!!

I started the second semester of my college journey one month ago now, and I can't believe it has been one month! Beeing so busy with so many assignments, homework and long lecture days ( 8 am lectures that end at 5 ) it has been so crazy oh my god 😭 I am sorry if you messaged me for a while and didn't respond to you, I literally didn't open Tumblr since like the 17th of Jan 🙈
