thinking about how there are multiple occasions where scar is talking about vex eating habits and cub seems to not really be on board but quietly agrees. scar saying they eat people and cub a little hesistantly agreeing, scar saying vexes drink liquid diamonds and cub going "if you say so", scar having the urge to eat/lick diamonds and vex magic constantly that cub does not seem to have... like what is the difference between them? why does scar have these needs that cub doesn't have?

Will Tim's death be brought up again or dwelled into deeper? I for one find the Siberia incident very interesting, especially the gun that (most likely) sent him back in time >:)

Oh ABSOLUTELY- I will say this much, there are no loose ends (that are really bad, they are unavoidable though) Only strings i've cut.

The last chapter was the final "framework" building the foundation of what breaks this AU from the normal canon and setting up the "need to know" as we start to get into the good shit.

The story is trailing along those cut strings to find the other half snipped away to retie the strands and reconnect the bigger picture.

Yes there are plenty of other plot and reveals to get through and some ive already wrapped up- But can you really have a Batfam story without a major mystery to solve?

Also- i've already hinted at/given about 60% of the information to "solve" the mystery- but if a single person manages to perdict whats going on I will be GENUIENLY suprised :)

Aka all the hints would be like saying "He has green eyes" and lacking the context for someone to jump to "Ah lazarus pit" level stuff (no it does not involve the Lazarus)

Learned about the Egyptian lore about how men (as well as women) were granted period leaves bc since the women would need rest the men would have to do the work women usually do (around the house or in general even)... It was called smth like "on leave - woman bleeding"

And the reason I got reminded of this is bc I've been insanely sick since the last two weeks and just when I started feeling the teeniest bit better (yesterday) I got my period (not much to bleed since I ate barely nothing but I've been feeling faint the moment I sit/stand up) and my mother was fasting the whole day so now she has an insane headache and my father - well aware of both our conditions - has the audacity to tell me to do stuff (help him in the kitchen I'll be honest he's not telling me to grind a mill no but to make dough and then rotis which if anyone knows is fucking tiring esp for me since I fucking hate doing it). I'm so angry that I just went with it. And my mother had to legit tell me to stop for that man to realise I've been deadly sick.
