Centuries after the decline and extinction of the Archons, along with the continued growth of Teyvat, borders between nations ceased to be so rigid. As such, the city of Niè Pán developed, in concurrence with a local university forming there to integrate students from both Sumeru and Liyue. Now known as one of the most prestigious institutions in Teyvat, Niè Pán University (also spelled as Niepan here for ease) has since formed a large community of students, professors, and general public from all around Teyvat into one spot. The city itself is nestled between Mawtiyima Forest and Nantianmen, with the Chasm looming southward. Niepan itself has grown over the centuries. It features various apartments, eateries, relaxation spots like the hanging gardens, the university, and of course, a gorgeous scenic view of both Liyue and Sumeru. Here, students have a quiet but still fun-filled city to explore while conducting research and working. Work is abundant to find, along with wonderful local tourist spots for the wandering traveler to experience! Niepan brings much to offer for those who are willing to leave their homeland. There are many organizations and clubs throughout the city as well that you can join; from generalized clubs, to special interest groups, there is such a wide range and variety! One that is a little weirder is that of the Fatui, an organization with charity-based work that serves as a fraternity for like minded individuals. Choosing to focus their attention on helping rather… interesting causes, many feel as though these members are rather odd individuals. Regardless, they are an utterly harmless group, and are constantly looking to recruit similar individuals to their organization. In the end, the city is one that is filled with new adventures and experiences that await all. Welcome to the city of Niepan, and welcome to Nirvana.

DC BATFAM FANFIC IDEAS

Bruce not telling anyone in the JL his identity and one day he casually mentions something only an orphan would understand. - The JL members who are orphans understand. The others don't. - The entire JL gets concerned.

Tim's nervous (Read: really scared) around Jason. Jason does not like this and wants to fix it. Wait, why does Bruce glare daggers at Jack Drake? - Jason: I sense child neglect. Dad's already onto it, i see. Ok so how do i use this to get Tim stop fleeing the room whenever i walk in.

Sort of an AU fic where Bruce and Oliver were close friends (Read: brothers and that's what they see each other as) as kids, still as adults, and as vigilantes they work pretty well together, they recognized each other instantly even in cape, and while the the JL doesn't know their identities, each knows the other. - Also they're both autistic and somehow chaos ensues after Flash overhears them talking one day at the Watchtower and now the JL wants to know how these work so well.

Bruce was a wild child and so is Damian.

The first days of Tim's being Robin. Bruce and Dick are concerned, while, oblivious, Tim is doing things that only neglected kids do. He is surprised others care. Dick sets out to change this.

AU where Jack ends up being a crap dad. Bruce has had enough and steals legal custody. - Bruce: Well you had one chance at being a dad and you blew it. - Bruce: Tim's my kid now. - Jack can't do anything about this. To Tim, Jack is 'Father'. Bruce is 'Dad'.

Some of the villains notice that the other vigilantes and even Red Robin himself like joking that 'RR's folks don't even notice that he practically lives at our place, they won't notice him sneaking back in at 2AM'. - Until one day they joke about 'RR's dad blew it. B took legal custody'.

Flash has ADHD but tells no one. The other see the signs tho. Batman calls him out on hiding it. Why Bat? Welp, the other nominated him. GA joins his autistic buddy tho.

This isn't Batfam but Billy/Captain Marvel accidentally drops some street child stuff. The League, of course, pick it up.

Bruce has trust issues. No specific event- just it was that way after his folks died. The JL figures it out that it's not just how he is, he just generally doesn't trust people. They figure out that something happened to make him this.

The JL has to come to Gotham for a mission. They have to stakeout in a graveyard. At some point while they still have a few hours, Batman slips off. When *insert any JL member(s)* find him, he's standing above two graves. They catch him saying "Hope you're proud, Mom, Dad." - Chaos ensues from this.

Kid!Dick has a nightmare. Bruce allows his kid to spend the night with him.

Cass gets into a fight with David Cain. She is shaken. Bruce is there for her, though.

Duke has a nightmare.

Tim tries to sneak outside after having a nightmare. Bruce catches him because he's a Dad. He sensed a disturbance in the force. Anyway instead of getting mad he makes it clear who Dick learned it from and tickles Tim to bits and then carries him back to bed lol.

Brook was freaking out.

Not only could she taste fruity pebbles when she hadn't eaten them in years, but she had made the mistake of researching.

Someone (Brook had zero clue who) had joked to some new campers about Brook being a goddess.

Why her of all people? Who knows but the campers believed it.

The thing that scared her was the fact that she hadn't eaten or slept and she felt better than normal.

So, here she was, sat in front of her laptop, trying to talk herself down from losing her damn mind.

Under normal circumstances he would speak his mind, but, with a gun against his head he knew better. Clint fucking Barton knew better than to speak when a gun was pointed at him. Especially when the one who held the gun was none other than Bucky Barnes himself.

“What the fuck was you thinkin’, Barton? Huh?” Barnes prodded his temple with the barrel, grimace etched deeply on his face. “You touchin’ on my girl without my permission. Boy, you must have sniffed too much of that snow powder, huh. To think I could trust a man like you with my lady.” He sucked his teeth. “I was foolish.”

“She came onto me, Barnes!” Clint hollered out, earning a scoff from your lips. “I swear it! I’ll go under the knife if you want! Please! She-she called me over here, tellin’ me she needed help stocking the drinks. She asked for my help. Once I got here, she was sprawled out over the damn bar, showing me everything. What man wouldn’t take the chance at a lady as beautiful as her, man?”

“Is he speaking’ the truth, doll face?” Bucky’s frown turned to you, where you were lounging on the car counter, your skirt ruffed up to your thigh, torn nearly off when Clint had attempted to get his hands on your pretty skin, just before Bucky had stormed into the palace, face full of outrage. “Did you come onto my right hand man without my permission? Did you show your body to him, Y/N? Were you flirtin’ around behind my back?”

“Oh, Bucky,” you drawled out slowly, a smirk playing on your lips as you glanced between both men. “Of course not, love. Why would I ever do such a terrible thing to you? I would never approach a man without your consent, you know that. Right baby?”

Bucky licked his lips hungrily as his gaze fell upon his comrade yet again. “You’re dead meat, Barton.”

“Boss-!” Clint’s plea was drowned out by the sound of a bullet entering his skull.

Bucky grimaced as he wiped at his face where Clint’s blood had splattered. “Say, sweetheart, what’d yah say we head on over to Wilson’s place, eh? I’ll call lil ole Steve to clear up the mess here.”

“It would be my pleasure, baby.”

This is a Highschool DC AU, this is mostly about young DC heroes like Young Justice! This is a big project me and Yuno finally brought to daylight, thanks to the encouragement from a few friends of ours. They are also part of this au as characters.

- this is absolutely fine, don’t feel bad about adding an oc or a self-insert, we accept those and you won’t be judged.

Canon characters

- if a canon character is already taken then don’t bother making your own version of it, we won’t accept them. The reason being is that it will be so confusing for us and keeping track of it, it’s better if we keep it simple.

Older characters

- we accept older characters, like Bruce, dick or Wally. However they won’t be too much focused on as young DC characters are the main voice of the Roleplay, I won’t allow Bruce as a teenager so don’t even try, this will make it weird since we already have a Damian.

Obikin College AU - RA/Don!Obi-Wan/First year!Anakin - Part One

I’ve been reading a lot of modern au Obikin fics recently, so one could say I’m on a bit of a kick.

That’s where this idea comes from!! I’m gonna outline it below so I can reference this if I ever decide to write it/for your enjoyment. Also, the pic is what I imagine they look like 😎.

Anakin and Obi-Wan go to Uni together.

It’s Anakin’s first year, and he moves into residence ready for FROSH week.

Obi-Wan is a RA/ Don for Anakin’s residence building, mainly because it looks good on a résumé and it helps cut living expenses.

Anakin becomes obsessed with him. When he first moved in, he was honestly going to skip all the FROSH stuff, opting to explore the new city on his own. After meeting Obi-Wan he is the first one to show up for all their activities, volunteering to help whenever he can. Anything to be on the older boy’s radar.

They get through FROSH, Anakin flirting desperately through little side comments the entire time. Obi-Wan just believes he’s excited and eager about the events.

During FROSH, Anakin makes friends with other incoming students - Padmé, Rex and Ahsoka. They become a little group. Everyone is quite fed up with Anakin’s Obi-Wan obsession after the week. They pray once the semester starts and they no longer spend every day with Obi-Wan he will shut up. He doesn’t.

“Dude, do us all a favour and actually talk to him.” “Please, Anakin, we really can’t take this anymore.”

“Oh Come on guys, what are friends for if not to listen to each other ramble about highly likely unrequited crushes?”

He does try to talk to Obi-Wan one on one during FROSH. To say it was a little awkward would be an understatement.

“So, what’s your major?”

“English/Literature with a minor in philosophy.”

“That’s nice. I read a book once.”

They kinda just stare at each other and then Anakin rushes back to his little group of friends who all wear mortified expressions.

“Dude…”

“Don’t even! I was nervous!”

After this, they don’t really speak during FROSH, until the last night of events. They are the only two left cleaning up after the evenings activities.

“Thanks for all of your help. I really appreciate it.”

“Oh, no worries!” Please marry me

“Out of curiosity… what is the one book you’ve read?”

“I’ve read more than one book!”

“I sort of figured, considering the University acceptance and all.”

“Yeah… I don’t know why I said that.”

“It’s alright, it was charming. In a himbo sort of way.”

Oh my god, you think I’m charming? Take me right here in the common room, I’ll show you charming.

The semester starts and they don’t see as much of each other anymore.

Part of Obi-Wan’s job as RA/Don is to take shifts working the desk in the lobby of their building. He does this every Friday night.

Anakin discovers this by accident. He and the gang had been at an off-campus party. They’re coming home late one night, all quite drunk.

As they walk through the door and see Obi-Wan everyone starts giggling and poking at Anakin as he flushes.

“Hello folks.” Obi-Wan greets cheerily.

“Hello Obi-Wan.” Ahsoka smirks at Anakin.

“Did you tell him yet?” Rex pushes him forward.

“Tell me what?”

Nothing! It was nice seeing you Obi-Wan!” Anakin ushers them all toward his room, leaving behind a confused Obi-Wan.

Every Friday afterward, Anakin takes advantage of the knowledge that Obi-Wan is working the desk.

He hangs around, striking casual conversation. They talk about anything and everything. School, classes, hobbies, music, other interests. They become well-acquainted.

“You’re telling me you’d pick The Cure over the Smiths?”

“Oh, of course. Easily. The Smiths are so depressing.”

“So is The Cure, idiot! At least Morrisey’s hot about it.”

“Are you saying Robert Smith isn’t hot?”

Anakin flirts shamelessly. Oblivious, Obi-Wan doesn’t catch the hints and just thinks Anakin is killing time waiting for his friends. Unbeknownst to him, Anakin bails on his friends every Friday to hang out at the front desk.

“You sure you don’t want to come tonight, Ani?”

“It’s his Obi-Wan night. He won’t come.”

Another part of Obi-Wan’s job is being the “Don on Duty”. This means he responds to any complaints/emergencies the residents have. He carries around a special phone for emergencies. He does this every Saturday night. Again, Anakin discovers this by accident.

A loud knock at his door interrupts Anakin’s dorm room party. He and his friends are wasted, watching movies and screaming about them.

He opens the door to reveal Obi-Wan.

Obi-Wan is looking down. “I’ve received several noise complaints about this room. You guys are going to have to - Anakin?” He cuts himself off once he looks up and blue meets blue.

“Obi-Wan! Come drink with us!”

“Anakin, I can’t. I’m on duty.”

“Oh come on, pretty pretty please?”

“I-,”

“Don’t say no! Please”

“Oh fine, but if this phone goes off I have to leave. And we really must be quiet.”

Obi-Wan spends the evening getting drunk with Anakin and his friends. Thankfully the phone doesn’t go off.

They watch films together, everyone growing drowsy. Anakin curls up next to Obi-Wan and rests his head on his shoulder. When Obi-Wan wraps his arm around him and holds him close, it’s merely because he’s drunk and tired.

That night, the two finally exchange phone numbers.

Anakin starts texting Obi-Wan relentlessly. Obi-Wan would call it harassment.

Anakin: do you ever think about the overwhelming and paralyzing passage of time? How you can’t do anything to stop it? (Sent at 3:42 am)

Obi-Wan: no, but I am now. (Sent at 3:44 am)

Anakin: lolz look at this silly kitty pic. He’s u! (Sent at 3:47 am)

Obi-Wan: go to sleep!!!!! (Sent at 3:48 am)

Anakin: jeez ok Mr. Grumpy pants 😡😡 (Sent at 3:50 am, Read at 3:50 am)

Obi-Wan starts getting invited to Anakin’s friend group hang outs. He was charming enough last time. Truthfully, it’s mostly because if he’s there, it saves the others from having to hear Anakin yearn for him all night.
