I saw people who are weirdly confused about this so since Stobotnik Week is starting soon let me remind you:

No one is policing the stuff you make inspired by prompt lists and fandom projects

Yes, you can write instead of drawing. You can even make edits or crochet little dolls if that’s your form of expression. All forms of creative expression are allowed.

Yes, you can skip days. You can in fact only do something for one day if that’s all you want to do or have power for. You can even do prompts out of order or combine some if that sparks your interest more. The point is that you make something and have fun!

Yes, you are allowed to misinterpret prompts. That’s totally fine and can happen to any of us. Maybe it even leads to a much cooler result! The more individually you interpret the prompt the better actually.

No, you won’t get “banned” from something or somewhere if you “do it wrong” because there is no wrong way to do it. The only wrong way to do it is by stressing yourself out over a fun little collaborative fandom project.

Please by all means, miss the deadline, wildly reinterpret prompts, use unconventional art mediums and please please just have fun creating art about your funny gay blorbos and share that with others!

Serenade of Time is an Ocarina of Time Zelink/Shink prompt event for all kinds of creators. Click the link above if you would be interested in participating in or enjoying other's work in the event!

How does the event work?

This event will be similar in structure to the Untold Myths: Triforce event I have alluded to hosting this summer! (More info on that one on @loz-untold-myths later). Essentially:

The event would take place across one week, with three possible prompts for each day.

Participants can choose to do one, two, or all of the prompts on a given day - combining them is fine, too!

Prompts would be themed around Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and partially Twilight Princess. The goal is to make room for participants to tell their story at any point in time.

When would the event take place?

The event would take place the week of November 16-22, 2025! The OoT anniversary falls during this week!

Remus was sitting with James on the bleachers, watching Sirius zoom around on his broom. The sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows over the Quidditch pitch. It was one of those lazy afternoons where nothing in particular was happening, and yet Sirius had decided it was the perfect time to show off—again.

"This is getting old already," Remus sighed, stretching out his legs and leaning back on his hands.

"It got old three years ago, Moony," James corrected, tilting his head as he watched Sirius execute a sharp dive. He leaned back, seemingly relaxed, but still threw Sirius a thumbs-up. "Doesn't stop him, though."

Remus hummed in agreement, squinting up at the sky. Sirius was weaving through imaginary obstacles, flipping his broom upside down as if gravity was merely a suggestion. Below, the grass swayed gently in the breeze, completely unbothered by his antics.

"He's going to crash at some point," Remus muttered.

James grinned. "Obviously. But he'll call it strategic maneuvering or something ridiculous like that."

They sat in silence for a while, watching Sirius zip across the pitch. A group of second-years passed by, chattering loudly, occasionally stopping to look up at the blur of black hair and robes above them. Even they seemed unimpressed—Sirius had been doing this forever.

"Bet you a Galleon he tries to fly through the goalposts next," James said casually, stretching his arms behind his head.

"Not taking that bet," Remus replied. "Too predictable."

As if on cue, Sirius suddenly angled his broom toward the nearest goalpost, speeding up as he aimed to thread the needle.

James laughed. "You know him too well."

Sirius barely made it through before wobbling dangerously, his broom shaking as he tried to regain control. For a brief moment, it looked like he was about to plummet straight to the ground, but at the last second, he yanked up hard and shot back into the sky.

Remus sighed. "He really needs a new hobby."

James smirked. "He'd argue that this is his hobby. That, and annoying you."

Remus rolled his eyes, but a small smile tugged at his lips. "Yeah, well, he excels at both."

How to write smut ?

writing smut depends on each person's writing style but i think there's something so gut-wrenchingly beautiful about smut when it's not very graphic and vivid. like., would this turn on a reader more?

"he kissed her, pulling her body closer to him."

or this?

"His lips felt so familiar it hurt her heart. His breathing had become more strained; his muscles tensed. She let herself sink into his embrace as his hands flattened against her spine. He drew her closer."

(Before proceeding further, these are all "in my opinion" what I think would make it better. Apply parts of the advice you like and neglect the aspects you do not agree with it. Once again I'm not saying you have to follow a certain type of style to write smut! Creative freedom exists for a reason!)

One may like either the top or the bottom one better, but it totally depends on your writing to make it work. Neither is bad, but the second example is more flattering, talking literally. (Here is me an year after writing this post, i think, either is amazing, depending on the context. the type of book you're writing, your writing style and preferences!)

express one's sensory feelings, and the readers will automatically know what's happening.

writing, "her walls clenched against him, her breath hitching with his every thrust" is better than writing, "she was about to cum".

(edit: once again, hi, it's me. Either is amazing depending on ur writing style. Everything at the end is about taste.)

here are some vocabulary you can introduce in your writing:

whimpered, whispered, breathed lightly, stuttered, groaned, grunted, yearned, whined, ached, clenched, coaxed, cried out, heaved, hissed

shivering, shuddering, curling up against one's body, squirming, squirting, touching, teasing, taunting, guiding, kneeling, begging, pining, pinching, grinding,

swallowing, panting, sucking in a sharp breath, thrusting, moving gently, gripped, biting, quivering,

nibbling, tugging, pressing, licking, flicking, sucking, panting, gritting, exhaling in short breaths,

wet kisses, brushing soft kisses across their body (yk where), licking, sucking, teasing, tracing, tickling, bucking hips, forcing one on their knees

holding hips, guiding the one on top, moving aimlessly, mindlessly, sounds they make turn insanely beautiful, sinful to listen to

some adverbs to use: desperately, hurriedly, knowingly, teasingly, tauntingly, aimlessly, shamelessly, breathlessly, passionately, delicately, hungrily

he sighed with pleasure

her skin flushed

he shuddered when her body moved against his

he planted kisses along her jawline

her lips turned red, messy, kissed and flushed.

his hands were on his hair, pulling him.

light touches traveled down his back

words were coiled at his throat, coming out as broken sobs, wanting more

he arched his back, his breath quivering

her legs parted, sinking into the other's body, encircling around their waist.

+ mention the position, how they're being moved around---are they face down, kneeling, or standing, or on top or on bottom--it's really helpful to give a clear picture.

+ use lustful talk, slow seduction, teasing touches, erratic breathing, give the readers all while also giving them nothing. make them yearn but DO NOT PROLONG IT.
