Day 4 | Light: Tranquil | Time: Quiet

The tallest hill where the stars fell, which held the pond of lovers, became a meeting place for the hero and the princess— a place to see one another without the prying eyes of the castle’s gossipers or the whispering stones of Kakariko. Gleaming flowers began to sprout from the spot where they picnicked with every passing day, but the days of frequent visits could not last forever. They met there less and less as they grew. As the princess’s seventeenth birthday approached, it became clear to the king and the prince that her knight had become a distraction from the training that kept her and Hyrule alive; and in the days nearing the grand ceremony that came with it. Only in secret would their bond be allowed to stretch deeper than duty.

This is a simpler piece, but I think it's cute. A lot of Satori in this universe are a bit spooky, though I went with the cuter ones (blupees) this time. ^^ Link and Zelda are both around 14 here, and they're at the base of the hill leading up to Lover's Pond (which in this Hyrule is combined with Satori Mountain). I love that this event has let me draw multiple "stages" of these two's bond! Their outfits have been fun, too. :)

I was not very proud of the piece I did last year, it didn't turn out a bit like I wanted to. So, here's a spiritual successor to that one! I gave it another go, and I think I've improved a little! :)

Just had to make it Classic Zelink. I've had SO MUCH brainrot for them lately... a lot of brainrot. Once I have more time to write, it is SO over for me.
