I like to headcanon Link gives her the magic book and magic rod post Adventure of Link, but also headcanon she occasionally needs to use a cane (not all the time but on days her pain is particularly bad), so I'm almost thinking about combining them? Maybe the wand can change shape to be functional as one? Still figuring it out, but here's Classic Zelda happily treasuring the gift! ^^
