I was not very proud of the piece I did last year, it didn't turn out a bit like I wanted to. So, here's a spiritual successor to that one! I gave it another go, and I think I've improved a little! :)

Just had to make it Classic Zelink. I've had SO MUCH brainrot for them lately... a lot of brainrot. Once I have more time to write, it is SO over for me.

The peony symbolism will return, trust me.

Seventh Virtue Character Art

Did a character design commission for @wouldyoustilllovemeifiwasawyrm (or Fyreflare on Ao3)! These seven characters are fittingly for an Original Legend called Seventh Virtue, in which the Hero must learn to build his own character before he can accomplish his mission. 👀 Thank you so much to fyreflare for commissioning these designs! I can't wait to see how the story unfolds; it sounds like it's going to be a ride!

The Mage's Lantern: Chapter 7

Moved by Princess Zelda, Link has promised her that he and the fire spirit, Searis, will help her destroy the Silver Tempest that plagues the skies of Hyrule. Zelda explores the entire village of Darune with the pair as they search for fuel to power the spirit; and she begins to truly understand the purpose behind her father's sacrifice.

Hyrule is a kingdom plagued with eternal storms by a vengeful mage. A young boy named Link joins a fire spirit and Princess Zelda to save both her father and the kingdom itself, but Link's own motives remain buried in the snow.

It's been over a year since the last update... Whoops. I've changed up the post formatting since I didn't really like the old one. What's the verdict? This time the cover art was done on CSP! I hope to redo the other chapter covers since I've definitely improved, but I did the sketches for the redraws on ibispaint so they'll likely stay on there. My style is definitely different since the last update, though...

The new year is on the horizon! I joined in late January of this year, which works out pretty well to take a look at everything I've done this year. First of all, I want to thank everyone who has encouraged my work, supported me, and given me helpful advice this year!! I also have to thank all 180 (exactly) people who have decided they like my stuff decently enough!! (except the like 50 bots I had to block, forget you)

So, to track my improvement, I've compiled some of my favorite pieces from this year amidst a long string of art crises. :)

Happy holidays to those celebrating! Here's some wintry seasonal art for The Mage's Lantern Zelink again! :)

Please excuse the style change! I'm trying out Clip Studio Paint for the first time, and somehow new programs and brushes make me do a completely new variation of my style. ^^" Rendering especially was weird for me. Chances are, I'll revisit this piece later on with other rendering styles to get used to Clip Studio Paint!
