waking up to breakfast in bed

trying to make them a birthday cake from scratch

decorating the house while they're still asleep

spending the first birthday together as a couple

^ therefore they're trying to make it as special as possible

taking a bit of the frosting from the cake and putting it on their nose

^ or spelling their name with it on the birthday person's forehead (i had a friend actually do this to me one year ??)

trying to find the silliest card to gift them

scenarios for that grump x sunshine dynamic

sunshine toppling over them with the biggest hug they could muster and grump just giving them tiny little pats to reciprocate

grumpy going out of their comfort zone to cheer up their sunshine who's having a bad day

^ "look, i made pancakes! i even made a smiley face out of the whipped cream, see?" "oh, that's what it's supposed to be? you're so cute.."

grumpy calling sunshine names (dummy, idiot, chatterbox) knowing they take no offense to them, but the moment someone else does, they snap

"are you always this happy?" "i try to be, but especially when i'm with you."

sunshine knowing when it's okay to push but never crosses a line when it comes to grumpy's boundaries

sunshine comforting the grump when they're a little more quiet and snappy than usual, leaving grump a flustered mess because they're used to people actually listening when they tell them to leave them alone

"hand in hand" -scenarios for a romantic walk

being able to laugh out loud, even if the area in which they're walking is relatively quiet, because the other is just that funny

one making a path out of rose petals (or any other flower) to lead to a cute makeshift dinner date

walks on a beach. im gonna say it every time.

making a date out of walking a trail in the park

falling into a comfortable silence, holding hands and admiring the scenery

"are you cold? we could turn back around."

tripping a little because they were too busy staring at the other

placing their joined hands into one of their coat pockets because it's cold and the other doesn't have gloves

making a pitstop to catch fireflies together
