I've been losing my mind watching western media and governments ignore, spread propaganda and worst of all: sponsor the genocide of Palestinians the last eight months; I can't even fathom what it must be like to live in Gaza or the West Bank. I am ashamed to admit I was ignorant to a lot of the world's atrocities until October 2023. Since then,  I've learned so much about Palestine and the apartheid settler-colony that is "Israel". The myth that Israel is essential to Jewish safety is so embedded in western culture that for 76 years the world has continued to turn a blind eye to (or finance) so many horrors inflicted by Israeli settlers on the Palestinian people. I've lost track of the amount of burnt and/or dismembered bodies I've seen from bombs my taxes pay for. I cannot understand how people are not radicalized by all this barbarity. 

I've been contributing to people in Gaza's GoFundMe campaigns when I can and I want to include some donation links here, please contribute if you are able. Even a little goes a long way towards food and hopefully, eventually, safe passage to Egypt.

This lookbook is inspired by Palestinian people. I tried to include both traditional attire with the closest thing I could find to Palestinian thobes with tatreez embroidery, along with turbans and hijabs, as well as those who dress more modern/not hijabi. I also tried to include as many keffiyehs as I could, and obviously, some watermelons. 🍉 I would have rather used a more pleasant background, but thought an image of the destruction of Khan Yunis would be more impactful. 💔

But now, 306 days later, I wonbder, were things really the same as they were fifty years ago?

• Were people homeless without shelter 50 years ago? •Was there no education that illuminated the path to science half a century ago? •Wasn't there electricity to illuminate the corridors of the night 50 years ago? •Wasn't there sanitation to protect our health before that time? •Wasn't there pure water to quench thirst fifty years ago? •Wasn't there fresh food and delicious food other than canned goods before this time?

•Wasn't there security and stability that protected us and brought us together half a century ago? •Wasn't there a health system that provided health care for everyone? •Weren't there entertainment and activities that brought people together and entertained them? •Weren't there hiking and exploring trips to fill our time 50 years ago? •Was there a fear that plagued them and prevented them from living and interacting at that time? •Were there economic crises, financial problems, and lack of sources of income threatening our stability half a century ago? •Have there been life-threatening food and water shortages and no on do anything? •Were difficulties in communication and mobility a barrier like we see today? •Was life really as difficult as it is today?

Perhaps we have not only gone back fifty years, but we are living in a time that has no such cruelty and has never passed before. It is not like any time... This reality has been imposed on us. We live with it with all its challenges, but we hold firm hope and strive to achieve change.

We need your support and combined efforts so that together we can make a difference and create a future that exceeds the challenges we face today.

They are claiming I support genocide now because I had curseforge links on my old downloads. I heard about how shitty curseforge is and how they support israel in November of 2023, i have the messages. I stopped posting to curseforge in July 2023.

They have some vendetta against me where they clearly just don't like me and are going so far with defamation of character that I'm receiving threats in my inbox.

They were claiming that I shouldn't be doing early access because my meshes are shit. I uploaded a video of my mesh that is early access where it has no errors and weights/textures I'm proud of.

They will not respond to my asks because they know it'll make them look horrible with false accusations of me supporting LITERAL genocide by uploading to curseforge, which I don't do.

This is the last thing I'm saying about this because I do not have the time or energy for someone so childish and petty all over a mistakenly glitchy sims 4 dress.
