okay so for context i (17 f) live with my family (not listing all of them because there are so fucking many) and ive been banned from the kitchen by my grandfather-in-law (idk what else to call him) but i think this is totally unfair and he is in the wrong here.

for context:

it all started when i got home from a very late night workout around 4 am. obviously ya girl was hungry so i went into the kitchen to make some food. and i was really craving some of this spicy curry i tried at a restaurant i went to with my girlfriend last week. so i was like “okay, ill just make my own! it cant possibly be that hard, its just like vegetables and spices!”

right?

WRONG

it was in fact kind of difficult

but im smart! i am a capable, independent woman! i am allowed to experiment and make mistakes!

so anyways i ended up dumping a bunch of veggies and spices into a pot and putting it at full heat

then i was like “oh shit! its a curry i gotta like blend it and stuff”

so i got one of those handheld blenders and started blending the contents in the pot while they were cooking in the oven

then i added some more oil for like consistency and flavor

and then

yk

the pot caught on fire and i was still blending so i started sending chunks of flaming curry through the kitchen and then my ex-turned-friend/brother-in-law(kinda) walked into the kitchen followed by the youngest brother and my ex-turned-friend/brother-in-law(kinda) got a chunk of flaming-almost-curry caught in his greasy ass hair and it caught on fire

LUCKILY his youngest brother has great reflexes and put it out immediately

but there was still a pot on fire and splatters of flaming curry throughout the kitchen

and uh

the fire alarms went off

and the whole family came into the kitchen

and we put out the fire! after an hour.

and then i was banned from the kitchen.

and my ex-turned-friend/brother-in-law(kinda) had to shave his head

and it kinda looked like this but obviously its not this because im not spoiler and my ex-turned-friend/brother-in-law(kinda) is definitely not red robin.

im totally not in the wrong here because i was just hungry and trying to make some food so i didn’t STARVE TO DEATH.

I actually think Jason Todd would be terrible when it comes to reacting to embarrassing situations. Like in the way that he leans too far into it while trying to make the moment not embarrassing for you

Accidently knocked over your drink at the coffee shop? Well, he ripped the top off his drink and poured it right next to yours on the ground. (He didn't even think about the mess it would make, he just did it and met your gaze with complete seriousness while you openly stared at him. Yes, he helped clean it up after, I swear)

Tripped in a room in front of witnesses? He's sprinting over to your side from the opposite end of the room and throwing himself to the floor dramatically. (He's checking if you're okay as soon as he hits the ground)

Accidently waved to someone you don't know? He's gaslighting them into believing you all went to school together. (You walked away from the situation with a new group chat and plans to meet up next Thursday)

He simply has never had a normal interaction in his life and is committed to the bit (no matter how weird that bit seems to be to everyone else)

Duke had just wanted to find his parents. He hated that he was in a foster home, he hated that the cops weren't doing anything, and he hated feeling useless.

No one understood him. Well, no one except for his foster brother. Danny would help him sneak out, look for clues where he could, and generally had Duke's back. He helped Duke out of more tough spots than he could count.

Then Duke joined the "We R Robin" movement, and Danny aged out of the system. Duke hadn't seen Danny in a long time.

So when he sees his old foster brother running down the streets, holding his side and limping, Duke doesn't hesitate to pop down and help.

The problem? Danny doesn't trust Gotham vigilante's. And he's bleeding ... green?

Good thing I also drew him some great friends to help him pull through! Really wanna do more of his crew. They're all color coded and everything! UGH!!! SO CUTE!!! Why must I be so busy? Dani x Jason Prompt

(Because i dont see enough of these two together. Also, this is another prompt i found in my fic files that i never did anything with.)

While Danny is in Amity Park protecting the ghost portal, Dani explores the world. Danny might be powerful enough to put down any threat, even Ancients, but she isn't as lucky. Her best defense against Vlad or the GIW is to never be in the same place two days in a row. Not to say she isn't powerful in her own right - she's yet to meet a ghost in her travels that she couldn't utterly crush, and even if she had, she's got the most loyal dog in both this world and the next to have her six.

Dani has discovered a great deal of beauty throughout the world in her few short years of life, but also unfathomable evil and undescribable corruption. She does what she can in every place she passes through, her ghost powers the ultimate cheat code for investigation and subterfuge, bringing to light the things that once hid in the dark.

But while scoping out yet another child trafficking ring, she crosses paths with a spirit of vengeance. At least, that's the only explanation she can come up with for how he's able to turn his shock and horror into pure rage at the flip of a dime.

Until she realizes that he's a baby halfa. If he doesn't learn how to mediate his emotions, he's going to burn out one of his halves.

Maybe she can help him stabilize into a proper spirit of justice and keep him from following the path that Vlad went down - oh shit, he doesn't even know that he's undead. Well, this is going to be a project and a half. But Dani is nothing if not resourceful - she's more than willing to put in the work if it means making an ally of the fourth known halfa.
