That darling feeling when you know the doctor you’re seeing is not qualified to help you, dismisses you and is also quite dangerous but you can’t find another one because there are only three doctors who see people like you within the state and you can’t afford a new doctor anyway, now times that by four because all the doctors you’re seeing happen to be shit and should 100% be replaced but funds are insufficient and you probably won’t survive the 14 month wait time.

you know, considering everything this country has put us through and considering the absolute hell on earth we're forced to be buckled in for the next four years of.... its kinda nice that we can all smile and hold hands and celebrate the concepts of thoughts and prayers for the ceo of united healthcare 😌
just really love seeing all of america unite and giggle with glee as these billionaires unfortunately meeting their demise...
deny. defend. depose.
us working class do all have one common enemy. the 1%er's...
yes they have an unfathomable amount of money.... but what happens when an immovable object meets and unstoppable force.....
DENY. DEFEND. DEPOSE.
we, the working class, have each other... there's hundreds of thousands, of millions of us..... you 1%er's can barely trust each other... too busy trying to stab each other in the backs because you still think you dont have ENOUGH money.....
question?
DENY. DEFEND. DEPOSE.
how much money will protect you... when the whole world is waiting to see you fall....
hopefully.... whatever you have is enough.....
but for now: sympathy is currently out of network
DENY. DEFEND. DEPOSE.

You know what's funny? The minute people start aiming higher and taking out the powerful and wealthy and "elite", they're going to change the gun laws. Because their goal has always been for us to stay fighting each other instead of looking towards them as the real threat to our life, liberty, and freedom.

Getting on my soapbox about something I think is REALLY important for chronically ill ppl to think about.
Being undiagnosed and disabled is a terrible experience. You’re screaming into the medical void for ANYONE to please SEE YOU and help. You start thinking “is it just me? Could it just be in my head? What’s wrong with ME?”
And I’m here to tell you, it’s 👏🏻NOT YOU👏🏻 it’s THEM. (The doctors)
I have been through the grueling process of becoming totally disabled by chronic illness, without knowing what it could be. I picked up diagnosis’ along the way: RA, then lupus, then fibro. And I am LUCKY that my blood worked with me to show those things, not everyone is so lucky.
I kept thinking (foolishly buying into the narrative doctors try and sell you) that if I could just get a *serious* diagnosis I would finally be given access to the care I needed, that ALL disabled people need. That was never the case at any step in the process.
When I was diagnosed with RA and began having symptoms outside of it, that were completely debilitating my rheumatologist told me I just needed more exercise and activity. I told them specifically I had fatigue so strong that I was loosing the ability for basic functioning.
When I found a new rheumatologist and was diagnosed with lupus I thought my troubles were over. Then she started saying weird shit like “do you have a boyfriend? You’re so pretty!”
She found out I was a lesbian when I brought my girlfriend to my appointment to be my advocate. Her whole demeanor changed to me and I spent 6-8 months with her receiving no treatment. They kept saying “oh it’s the insurance” nope they sent me letters telling me this office was not following up.
So I moved to a blue state literally out of fear that I would die waiting on these bigoted doctors. I got a rhum in a blue state. I was diagnosed with secondary fibro. Again, I foolishly believed I would finally be in the clear. No, she still minimizes and blinks at me when I describe my pain.
Doctors are not our allies, even though they should be above all else. They find ANY excuse to minimize us. So if you are someone who is undiagnosed or with a diagnosis that is misunderstood/not taken seriously , they will milk that for all it’s worth. 👏🏻ITS NOT YOU👏🏻
I’ve seen people in disabled communities minimized for their race, their weight, their gender, their sexuality/queerness, their age, their diagnosis or the lack thereof, ITS NOT YOU!
You know your body, and the pain you feel BETTER than any doctor that has been trained to systemically ignore you!
Don’t let them tell you what your reality is. It’s such a knee jerk reaction for minorities to do this to themselves.
You deserve medical care that isn’t contingent on your doctors bias’. We NEED more empathy. Don’t let their disregard for your life leak into the love you NEED to give yourself. 💕

Every time I hear the news anchors saying Brian Thompson left behind a wife and teenage children, it fills me with rage.
How many parents did his and his company’s actions rip away from THEIR children? How many children did their actions rip away from THEIR parents? How many people did he and United Healthcare fuck over without remorse, all in the name of profits?
Medical professionals and political figures and citizens alike all TOLD YOU that you were wrong, and yet you stubbornly persisted? All in the name of greed?
This is why nobody is mourning him. This is why the country is mocking and celebrating his death. This is why people are making other CEOs publicly known. People get screwed over by healthcare insurance companies every DAY and not one of those corrupt bigwigs bats an eye or feels any modicum of guilt. The people have had enough. You all should’ve known this would happen someday. In an age of unprecedented gun violence and civil unrest, this is what you asked for.

i know that folks from the west are not easily giving into support for palestine because “well israeli civilians dont deserve to die, stop being a dick by cheering for this”
and listen. we understand that very well. we cannot cheer for innocent people losing their lives. but we wouldnt BE here today if this were something that could have been sorted out over a negotiation
netanyahu just last week, w a disgusting ass smug face made it clear at the UN GA that he was redrawing the map of the middle east. he was literally there with a board and a marker pen, shamelessly redrawing a map of israel over palestine. people fucking clapped. there is video footage, goo look at it.
and that’s just what the west is seeing. what the west has been conveniently ignoring, or worse, supporting, is the apartheid in palestine for the past 100 years. what is happening in israel today, theyve been doing exactly that and Worse for a century in palestine.
any both sides argument misses the fucking point because it ignores a whole history of how theyve fucked over the palestinian people. not just outright killing their people but also stealing land and resources and redirecting them to the israeli cause.
but the west doesn’t actually give a fuck about arab countries or its people, in fact actively funds genocide. so eat your shitass opinion about not celebrating the one time palestinians have managed to look like a threat.
as hopeful as we are, we know israel is too powerful and has the west as its ally. but this is what palestinian journalist had to say about it “they have decided to fight and die on their feet, rather than just die on their knees”
another journalist reporting from gaza said “well the people in gaza are used to airstrikes of this kind so they have a standard protocol on how to evacuate and know when to give up, and go down together as a family”
let the enormity of those statements sink in, and then maybe you can fucking talk about both sides.

Hi there! First I wanted to say bless you for feeding us good food with your transformers arts and headcanons, I get excited whenever you post art XD and since I don't think anyone asked but how have you been since you've gotten bitten by something venomous a few days ago? I hope you have been recovering well!!
Thank you jfkkg><
Yeah mmm whatever bit me it wasn’t like…deadly venomous so when I got to the hospital they vaguely said that I need to just ignore the pain and wait. Now I have instant suffering button on my leg lol. On the bright side I’m pretty sure I’ll be fine in a week or something 👍

In society one of the main forms of ableism I experience and observe is how someone’s personhood is reduced to their ability to do labour. How much they contribute to society and such. How people advocate for the government to not support disabled people, saying it’s a “waste of money” completely removing the people involved reducing them to terms used to describe animals and tax deductions. In calling for this you call for the death of disabled people. Disabled refugees are far less likely to be accepted as citizens, rather deported or left in detention. Myself and other disabled people have been repeatedly denied healthcare, my government has made it impossible for me to access vital support all to save pennies so they can build new sport stadiums.
