suuuuuper messy thing for a new au :3

okok hear me out on this. in some kind of g1-adjacent universe, the ark starts burning up and breaking into pieces in earth's atmosphere, leading to autobots and decepticons alike flying out of the ship and crashlanding in little pockets all across the americas. they're all separated, and without long-range comms or teletraan-1, they can't communicate.

enter jazz and prowl. they wound up crashing together into the forests in new hampshire, with no other bot or con in sight for miles and miles. all they've got is a last transmission from optimus prime- a message calling to all surviving autobots to come to the west coast, where the ark's remains crashed. jazz and prowl team up and decide to head over there together, though not without some bumps along the way. cue silly road trip montage where jazz collects bumper stickers from virtually every stop they make

really sorry to bother about this, but after seeing that ask about your writing, do you use anything specific when writing? (ex: google docs or just writing it in tumblr)

I have a group chat with only me in it and write pieces of fics in there:D

Question for the JP ES AU: will Jazz at some point further in the plan be a bit... Jealous? Or at least annoyed if people keep interfering with his friendship (read: dragging Prowl to eat with them instead of him Often) or pulling Prowl away to hang out with them?

......you know. This is something I haven't considered....but now when I think of it. It could fit🤔

Jazz wouldn't automatically be annoyed at other people wanting to hang out with Prowl but if we set up some things and events. Like maybe OP isn't there for whatever plot reason. And also Jazz has a very busy schedule and he doesn't have a lot of time to rest and hang out with Prowl. So when he does have time and Prowl happens to be hanging out with someone else? Ah...ah well...okay..see you next week I guess..

Imagine if Jazz just came back from some long ass difficult mission and all he wants is to get some peace and comfort and ideally to have a frienly ear to tell/complain about the mission. And he was really looking forward for Prowl's company.

But oops. Prowl is hanging out with Elita. And then he's doing some project with Wheeljack. And then there's maybe Terrans or humans or idk anyone else. And Jazz is like. When is it MY TURN

He will probably snap into the jealous bitch mode if it's Megatron occupying Prowl's free time haha

I gotta admit. JP being possessive. Is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. Maybe I should consider making them both that way. For shits and giggles

Are you still writing chapters for the Mecha au? I absolutely love it and can’t survive on just three chapters.

I am currently kinda stuck with the whole bunch of half written chapters for like..four different fics. Technically I am still writing them but it’s the kind of writing where I mostly stare at them desperately:/

Gotta love how Prowl made this huge elaborate detailed to Cybertron and back twice plan to get a hug from Jazz, which he knows means he needs Jazz to like him, to consider him a friend and trust him.

And yet he's so surprised every time Jazz shows an ounce of attention towards him like "omp he's choosing seats for two now" "he touched me, I would die happy but I still need that hug" "he's? helping me?? Doesn't like seeing me get hurt???"

Like bro, do you know what it means to have a friend? (Ofc he does, but still, what did u expect, my guy?)

Big part of his plan was to ensure that Jazz doesn't feel the need to perform friendship around him. So first half of the plan all the progress looks like "Jazz is okay with doing absolutely nothing around me and this is good".

Like Jazz doesn't have to smile and joke and be friendly because Prowl doesn't want fake jokes and fake smiles and fake friendliness. And he is so focused on not getting the fake gestures that he is getting startled by the real ones ahahahah

First half of the plan: Be okay and get used to not receiving any affection.

Second half: Omg is thAt AFFECTION??

I'd like to think that Megatron is the only bot to require a 7 step plan and the next autobot with the smallest step plan to be friend them is like, 36 steps.

jazz is very much an outlier but Megatron is the easiest for Prowl lol

Megatron wants everyone to love and trust him so bad it's incredibly easy to become friends with him ahahahkgny. Just. Don't really trust him maybe.

What do you think about Adobe programs Kef?

They're stupidly expensive. You have to pay every month just for keeping them. They're training AI on your projects. They also give people in the Adobe manual access to the projects you're making.

I love how cool and mysterious you made ES Jazz in contrast to a goofy Prowl. It's very refreshing to see since it's usually the other way around.

jazz finds out about all the steps and thinks "Oh! so this is how he captured all those decepticons"

then he snoops deeper, finds some older during-war plans and finds out that he's kinda right in that, yes, prowl did make multi-step plans to capture decepticons, but there were like. maybe 20 steps at best.

some of them aren't even detailed, with just a 'throw optimus at them' as one of the steps

Oh yes absolutely hahah. All those Cons were dangerous physically so Prowl got them by the magic of social engineering~

Also half of those plans included “Send their home address to Jazz”
