Billy has a few aliases and fake names he has used, something any part time radio personality host, part time superhero, and full time menace of a child should have a fair amount of.

Joesph Williams is the name he always used when police caught him. Be it shoplifting in his homeless days to get through the month trying not to starve, being caught place a child shouldn’t be during the school day, or the one time he broke into a patrol car. Joesph Williams was the name he gave so he didn’t build a juvenile record on his real name, it as close enough to the real thing without being it for billy to easily remember.

The Whiz kid, famous boy reporter in the after school hours for Whiz Radio with Marvelously provided safety tips for the average Fawcettizen dealing with mundane magical issues or coming into their own (the close proximity to The Rocks entrance and the near weekly exposure to magic has a lot of it surfacing in Fawcett) Everything from why you absolutely shouldn’t summon and Hellhound to leave your enemies a flayed corpse and basic protection spells for the next time the Monster Society of Evil rears their ugly heads. Billy loves being the Whiz Kid, people actually listen to him talk magic and its the one time all his magical study as magics champion gets recognized since Captain Marvel doesn’t always need spells to punch a bad guy into prison.

Captain Marvel, the guy the whole world knows. The symbol of pure and perfect heroism Billy always saw in his heroes and try’s to emulate the best he can, never curses or has a mean word to say. Always there to save the day and comfort the people he’s saved when they’re frightened, doing his absolute very best to be the hero he’d love as a kid and the hero he needed every time “Do Good And Good Will Follow” never seemed to work for little orphan Billy.

I wasn't even keeping up with the MHA manga but I did read the last three chapters without context and I've already decided how to fix the ending for my Self Insert

#mha manga spoilers #bnha manga spoilers #The League is not dead first of all that's a really Fucked Up ending #Instead they all end up in Critical Condition and the Public is told they're dead #(Including my S/I who is currently in captivity for conspiring with the League)#Jump cut to months later All Might comes to visit me and says there's someone who wants to see me #So cuffed and blinded I ride in his car to a secure location #Said location turns out to be a spare dormitory on UA grounds #And inside- is the League!#They'd been waiting until they'd all woken up and been released for the Hospital before letting us all see eachother #We're all sat down (piled on one couch holding on however we can) and told the situation #The plan was change our names and ship us off to another country with dedicated surveillance #So we can have our second chance in piece #But rebuilding Japan is taking a LOT of resources so we all have to sit tight at UA until they have funds to spare again #Which will be a few years #In the meantime we get lots of visitors! The Todorokis come over every night to make dinner #All Might and Izuku come to sit and talk with Tomura an hour or so a day #Ochaco spends every spare moment between Rebuild work with Himiko either in the house or wandering school grounds #And after probably a full year or better of this life Nezu comes to me with a proposal of making the League official UA staff #They have a perspective that is very important to young heroes now a days and plenty of experience on the field #It's keep us under surveillance without forcing us to move away from the families we've just reconnected to #And that's how both Tomura and Izuku can be UA Teachers together <3

#fallout #okay first of all her full maiden name is lenore dubrovhsky #she's somehow related to the russian diplomat who is the grandfather of natalia dubrovhsky #maybe his niece? idk but she immigrated to the us after meeting nate during his tour because she claimed she was IN LOVE #i imagine she was in her late teens and nate was in his early 20s #and she falls for him and he promises he'll help her with going to college in the US and they'll have an equal marriage yadda yadda #so they get married and nora becomes a lawyer #so they've been married around seven years and she's doing her training as a legal secretary when oops! she becomes pregnant #(nate sabotaged her birth control but shhh she doesn't know that)#so nate persuades her into putting her career on hold just for a little while until they can start putting their son in daycare #(shaun takes heavily after nora's side of the family to the point nate jokes about whether his DNA had any say at all)#(he also later joins the army and dies in action)#so nora's being kept at home all the time. taking care of the kid. cooking all the meals. cleaning the house. barely any time for herself #and she gets so frazzled she gets into a minor car accident while taking shaun home from the doctor #nate freaks out and confiscates her car keys so now she can barely get out of the house without him on her arm #barely any adult social interaction and any family she could have had keeping her company was all the way over in russia #so she has a quickie with a door-to-door salesman and when her next kid pops out with red hair #the lack of resemblance to nate stops being funny #he agrees not to leave her but says he can't trust her at home alone anymore so he gets her a job at shaun's elementary school as a teacher #this happened around when shaun was 11 and he's harbored a hatred for his mom and his sister ever since #nate promised to raise the girl like his own but he's distant with her which rubbed off on shaun #so the girl. i'm calling her annabelle. TOTAL mommy's girl. wants to be just like her #so when shaun's seventeen he fakes his enlistment papers so he can be enlisted early and dies in combat #i imagine nora misses the baby boy she raised and is utterly upset he turned out this way #and by 'this way' i mean i imagine him as a patriotic misogynist and nora does not hold kind feelings towards the US for various reasons #nate was proud of his son for dying for a cause he believed in #so when annabelle's six nora gets pregnant again and that's when i imagine the bombs drop #the school nora works for is a really privileged private school (nate comes from old money) and that's where the cryo pods come in!#i imagine it would be like a 'saving america's youth for a brighter tomorrow' thing idk #also the day the bombs dropped nora killed nate before heading off to work. woulda been totally caught had the bombs not dropped HEYOOOO

the really beautiful landscape/skyscape animation in makoto shinkai's works tends to be the big thing i see focused on and that is understandable and deserved like the weather and lighting effects are unREAL but i do think we should also appreciate how absolute insane the plotlines of his original movies get. at least two movies with in universe catastrophes with major ecological implications. the guns and explosions. theres that one movie i havent seen yet with the guy who turns into a chair (?)

REALLY good #i remember when it came out people were saying it was better than your name. but now it seems the general opinion switched?#your name changed my brain chemistry and outlook on life. i think weathering with you may do the same #so to me i think they're like on pare with eachother. i dont know if i can choose which is my fav now LOL #they are sisters to me..... sisters to me...... quick review below watch out for spoilers #i dont think i'll be too detailed but i do also just recommend watching it its a great movie #I DID like the soundtrack in your name a BIT better like the score had a few more hooks for me and i loved all the insert songs #while in wwy i liked the last three inserts but the first couple didnt really grab me. but its all radwimps so its all good LOL #the side characters in wwy were so good tho like i loved all the cast so much #of course i adored the main characters of your name and wwy both. but the side cast in wwy ruled i think i'll remember them for a long time #the taki jumpscare was also great. my boy was here. my boy was here. just for a minute #i also adored how unhinged the main character of wwy was. hodaka was like. a bit unwell? Just got back from seeing Water For Elephants on Broadway (absolutely fantastic, instant new favorite) and I have a lot of thoughts but the loudest and most chaotic one is The toxic polycule of Jacob, Marlena, and August.

#like #August is a terrible terrible person #but you can’t tell me he’s not at least a little bit gay #it’s also because they could have done a better job developing Jacob and August’s relationship in the first act of they were supposed to be #such close friends but still #also his name is august that’s a gay ass name (shoutout to my friend named august who very gay so that’s my source on that)#but also I understand that there wasn’t really that much time in the first act for it so 🤷#but still toxic polycule funny #anyway if you can go see water for elephants it’s absolutely amazing #don’t come at me if this sounds absolutely insane from the perspective of the book or the movie I haven’t read/seen either this is just abt #the musical which is fantastic and I love it #there does not appear to be a full version on YouTube yet which makes sense cause it just opened a few months ago but when there is if you #very understandably can’t go see it I high recommend because just as a work of theater it is absolutely incredible #water for elephants #w4e #water for elephants musical #the heir speaks

So I'm on playthrough #4 of this game playing as Astarion this time around with the intention of romancing Wyll and man, picking all the good and heroic options as Astarion especially in Act 1 really is a case of "He would not fucking say that" bc Wyll likes all the good and heroic options and Astarion is. not that lolol

One thing is by chance I found a workaround on how to not make Wyll a devil and still keep Karlach alive. It worked but now im wondering if making him a devil would of been better narratively? Also I just got used to the horns that I kinda miss them. I do have a save thats right before doing the workaround but I did quite a bit of stuff so is it worth it?

#prince's talk tag #i no longer know which tag to put these rambles in lolol #i wanted to try playing as Astarion bc 1) hes my favorite character but also 2) he's a rouge and i love playing as rouge characters #they can break into anything and i want all those extra goodies #but i also so a bunch of astarion and wyll fan content and that cemented my want to pair them in a playthrough so it worked out #and bc i dont have a Tav this playthrough i can have a full group of origins #my party this time around is Astarion‚ Wyll‚ Shadowheart‚ and Lae'zel and the banter so far has been a lot of fun #shadowheart and laezel are like 2 seconds from killing each other and wyll is explaining why his name is spelled with a 'Y'#'Wyll with a Y. Why?' 'Yes with a Y! :D' made me laugh #also despite playing a character with 8 charisma my irl charisma is coming through the game again bc both Lae'zel and Shadowheart want me #theres options I can pick for both of them to initiate their romance and after beating some orcs Lae'zel turn on the '!' sign so id do it #i didn't. im not going for her yet. but this is like 4 playthroughs now. i gotta do her route next #also i gave gale one (1) artifact and barely had him in my party but his first scene initiated #i turned him down so fast bc i already did him in my last playthrough. i need a break lolol #wyll meanwhile is at exceptional affinity with me but hasn't said anything yet.... maybe after i take care of the goblins he will?

a thing i have JUST realized, isn't the human brain amazing lol -- is that we talk about izzy's thoughts and feelings on ed, on blackbeard, about how he serves one but not the other, etc, etc, and how it means he never loved or even respected the True Man Underneath It All but rather the bloodthirsty legend of a pirate--

e x c e p t izzy is not the first person who makes the distinction between edward and blackbeard. it's ed himself, when he says "actually, i want to be called edward from now on".

before, when he was with stede, it didn't bother him at all that the crew called him blackbeard. that was his name! he was blackbeard, what else would they call him. only stede and izzy got to "ed" or "edward" him, because they were closer -- stede was his first close friend, izzy was his friend and first mate for decades. (note that fang was with ed the longest, but he doesn't call him by his name! you gotta deserve it.)

izzy doesn't do anything inappropriate or out of proportion when he snaps at the crew to call him blackbeard or captain -- that's who ed is, is supposed to be, to them. they're not friends! they even call stede captain, and have you seen that guy?

it's ed that makes the connection between his current state: draped in fuchsia robes, singing sad songs about how sad he is, showing his vulnerable and emotional state in front of people who are supposed to respect and trust his authority. and by that he splendidly loses that authority, to the point that wee john calls him ed, and when izzy snaps at him for disrespecting his captain, ed goes no, actually, yknow what, do call me edward! and then he goes on to encourage the crew to sing as well and hey, actually, why are we being pirates! we should do a talent show!

the distinction is clear here. before all that, in izzy's eyes, his boss was blackbeard, captain, ed/edward -- different names for different occasions, but one and the same guy. but now? this guy singing songs in a pink bathrobe doesn't want to be called blackbeard, he's edward! ed time now! we're going to eat marmalade and express our feelings in front of everyone! and hold talent shows! Ya Hoo !

yeah, it's no wonder izzy doesn't want that. he wants his competent captain back, and this current dude, edward? he's not him. so, uh,

#shrimp thoughts #AND it's not izzy that's the final nail to magenta ed's coffin. it's the lads calling for EDDIE to come and sing for them again #right after izzy -- his first mate! the guy who followed him for all those decades with only mild complaining and an occasional #fed up tirade here and there -- tells him he has no reason to respect him the way he is now. if that's the way with izzy -- then fuck!#what about these guys? those basically strangers to whom he stupidly bared his soul? who are treating him like a source of entertainment?#man's just lost izzy's support. he doesn't have stede (the guy who has the sort-of loyalty of the crew). and the crew respects and admires #blackbeard -- but ed? eddie? uh oh.#look at his face and body language before and after the 'hey eddie give us another song!'. before: he's clearly upset by what just happened #but he starts to fix the robe on himself. starts trying to deal with it and stuff. but the second he hears that one sentence? he freezes.#he turns his head towards the source of the voices -- the crew chanting his name -- very slowly. his eyes are barely moving #this is not to say that izzy's words had no effect on him because they clearly did! but he did not go full kraken to make a point that izzy #is wrong and actually pink and karaoke are good. he goes kraken because attack is the best defense. and it's so fun when #everyone laughs at your jokes and claps when you sing! it's just that people are fickle as fuck :/#tl;dr the bekrakening is a complex process that doesn't have its source in one grumpy first mate who just wanted everyone to do their jobs #but rather in a fuckton of factors from which one was -- yeah -- stede abandoning ed after he bared his feelings to him. leaving him a #confused raw wound. which would be fine if ed was a teenager but unfortunately he's a scary pirate who loves a good maim #this post is soooooooo long oh my god i could have fit it in three short paragraphs probably

Finally watched the first knives out and. I get it. It really is that good huh.

#also a fucking tragedy #like obvs all murder mysteries are tragic to a certain extent bc like. someone died.#but this one is like. literally greek tragedy. it was all so avoidable but only in retrospect #but also in the end so completely UNavoidable bc these characters' own natures is what dooms them #like. if Marta had been just SLIGHTLY worse at being a nurse. just a LITTLE less careful. (which Ransom wanted&expected)#she might not have noticed at all that she'd used the wrong meds. and not freaked out. and avoided disaster #similarly if Old Guy whose name idk how to spell had cared about Marta a little less (which EVERYONE expected&wanted)#he wouldn't have literally killed himself to protect her #and yet. AND YET. it wouldn't have been enough bc they'd have been doomed anyways bc a more careless nurse WOULD have killed Old Guy #like PEAK greek tragedy fatal flaw shit #also. unrelated but. where WAS Marta's family from everyone kept naming different countries but i cant remember if she ever says it herself #which is v on-brand for the point the movie was making with that in the first place obvs but i kinda feel bad that i don't know #also also the fucking. full-circle eventual payoff for that comment about not being able to tell a real knife from a prop?? priceless #the SECOND i heard it i knew it was important but i just couldn't figure out how the heck itd be relevant #esp since he then instantly demonstrated that HIS knife (aka the murder weapon) was real so i was like. ok so where's this prop knife then #but then it DID come back and it was great #anyways great movie glad i watched excited to watch the second one

i went through this account’s handful of videos from this show, and i’m pretty confident that’s will roland, next to harrison chad as quince, despite the view being mostly obstructed from the angle this whole time. he’s Most Visible for a moment at the very end lol. since the costuming is just a buttonup and tie w/no especial “it’s This character, or Any character” cues, i’ll guess he’s “will roland” at this point, though that doesn’t mean he wasn’t appearing in some other capacity earlier. every pre-2018 xmas wrole cited in that tweet has been accounted for, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been some of those characters more than once, as is definitely true for uncle peenie appearances

Honestly. OK. It's been some weeks since I did any writing. And I SHOULD push to finish ladue chapter 3. And i will. Eventually. BUT

My brain keeps scrabbling towards trigun, & I know it's inevitable I'm gonna write smth for it, but I still don't know what to write bc Realistically I'm still in the digestion phase. I'm not the type who will write while in the middle of absorbing a thing. I will write only after I have reasonably completed the thing, bc I would DIE if I got any details wrong for the thing

So yes I watched all of tristamp, but im only 20 ish chapters into trimax, so I'm not gonna be writing anything until after I finish that manga. Which you'd THINK would be good incentive for me to push to read the manga. But get this. Wolfwood Fanfic Good.

Also anytime I start reading I can't stop & I have literally given myself headaches doing this reading all of original trigun manga in one go And then 2 nights ago reading chapters 4 through 20 of tristamp in one go. Yes I read a few more last night and didn't get the Brain Grip, but I can tell shit's about to go down HARD & that's what got me getting only 4 hours of sleep the night before last bc i could not stop READING

I have to be cautious. Hyperfixations are a dangerous thing if you don't have the time to commit to them.

.... and I still really wanna write vashwood fanfic 😭

a lot has been going on, love yall

#dsfghsdfgghd #so i hadnt yet come out to aaron fully. tried to frame it as quirky cis girl things but like #it went well. he doesnt like the name but im cool with that. my mom seems kinda sad about it otherwise i'd ask her if she wanted to help #me pick it #but so far actually getting on t has been a hassle.#got written a prescription on the 9th. Woo #doesnt actually go through just the needles etc #i wait a few days like a good little customer #call my pharmacy to check on it. mention that i heard it could be an insurance thing #they say that it wasnt. that my pharmacist cancelled it for some reason #they fix it. aaron had some feelings about this that caused me to hold off. he came home from alabama #and i feel so bad bc i told myself i could be cool and just. accept it if aaron didnt like it and carry on bc like #okay have wanted to go on t since 13-15. but i was also kinda just chilling??? like i barely live in my body anyway but #and he revealed some really personal stuff that has me deeply worried for him tbh #But i'm proceeding. he's given his okays and i do feel sad. i do kinda feel like im killing the woman he loved even tho 1. hes done #nothing to indicate feeling that way and 2. he can still call me his wife. frankly hes the sweetest funniest guy with biggest heart. makes #me nut. im in heaven with him. life goes on u know #anyways off topic. we have money again. aaron is being cool now i just dk how to bridge those topics with respect for him #but he offered to pick it up for me. walmart first told him that they didnt take good rx cupons for controlled substances and then when the #saw him pull up a cupon they said walmart was the only pharmacy that couldnt #then they came back and said they couldnt give it to him since insurance denied it so theyre sending another request #full goshdamn circle. it was nice hearing aaron get indignant and annoyed that its a controlled substance
