Brother I tripped and fell and hurt my ankle (again yes. Other ankle this time) and I was listening to music before which was promptly paused as my everything went flying out of my pockets and my headphones got unplugged from my phone and the song it got paused on was fuckinh. hated by life itself. Theme song of spraining ur ankle.

caught up to the latest liella episode once again! ready for the finale in a few days and MAN
i think after watching ep 7-8 ish i was like man i hope they do something with kinako she was my fav when the 2nd years were first introduced in the magazine but they've been ignoring her for like two seasons and BOY i got my wish ep 10 was absurdly fantastic and shot kinako back up to the top of my favs LOL even in ep 9 you could feel her steadfastness, near hardheadedness despite her low self esteem its SO GOOD so so good
and of course egao no promise is just right up my alley song wise LOL
dazzling game and superstar were also great! i think superstar will be like all the previous love live finals songs with liella where it grows on me more as time goes on, we shall see
BUT character wise this season has been so wonderful, every complaint i had about season 2 was dealt with and surpassed its CRAZY i love all the characters... i love all the songs.... the animation looked great..... they knocked it outta the park!!!
now i did nearly pass out in the beginning of ep11 where they played a bit of the instrumental of honno choppiri again. dare i hope? dare i hope....
jk jk (unless?) but i am very curious about what the last episode will be like, i imagine they wouldnt wanna go without a song right? but they already got three singles with two insert songs each..... ive seen theories about an 11 member version of an old song, like especially their debut song which would rule. what does the future hold...
its a bit of a missed opportunity to me that they dont have a liella no uta song where each episode is a different member and then the last episode is a group song or something since they have the perfect amount. but the songs we got are great and the little liella theatre skits are cute and fun <3

I think the annihilation movie is solid albeit flawed and at times really fantastic BUT now having read the book, while I largely like that the movie and book have so little to do with each other, being able to compare the two now did make me realize how much less interesting marital problems stemming from infidelity are compared to marital distance stemming from an inherent difficulty to emotionally connect with other human beings despite one's persisting loneliness
#when i watched the movie that was the weakest part i found#the relationship between the main character and her husband. i thought too much time was spent on it#and the affair plot felt a little tired. i dont think its impossible to make it interesting but i didnt care for it here#the book had a more interesting relationship between the biologist and her husband i found#more thematically relevant too. although i guess adapting emotional unavailability into film is. difficult#particularly in a current usa film industry that doesnt seem that interested in dialogue?#i still enjoyed a lot of the movie tho. but MAN the biologists character in the book was FANTASTIC#but i like when adaptations are really different from their source to the point of being separate#its like . fuck yeah. two things!!!!

maybe a fun new years resolution could be trying to get out a finished vsynth cover out at least once a month <- insane and fucked up concept

Why did everyone tell me the ao oni movies sucked like they ruled HARD actually. There was timeloop multiverse bullshit. And homoeroticism.
#people clowned in the cgi when the trailers came out but like. honestly?#with the source material and budget i think that's genuinely the best you could do LOL#i liked the little square freak fuwatti in the second movie especially#just as silly looking as he was in the game LOL#the soundtracks were also bizarre and awesome. i love the like theme of friendship between hiroshi and takuro in the second movie#the little anime shorts are cute too. i still need to see the animated movie. why is there so much ao oni stuff

#i wish there was an official off vocal out there id love to try making a midi of it#although i guess lack of real offvocal has not stopped me before....#the demo by wotaku also ruled. leisure. they have a fun day at the zoo :) and its. fucking hardstyle. awesome#that actually does have an official off vocal. so who knows what the future holes. wink wonk (guy who never finishes midis voice)#i still kiiiinda like meiko and kaito tho. like theyre no where near as good as their v1 tone and meiko sounds a little worse than her v3#but kaito is like on par with his v3 for me LOL they have their pros and cons. when people xsy his sp and his straight i like it quite a bi#gives it the clearer consonants while removing some of that hashtag sp noise#and i mean miku rin and len are serviceable i thought. im not a miku rin or lenhead tho so take my opinion with a grain of salt#there is no defending luka sp tho that was dire. again im not a lukahead but even i could tell. im so sorry lukaheads#the biggest missed opportunity for me with the superpack tho is that noisey tone they all have that like. muffles all their voices#which is fine if ur doing a song with just one maaaybe two of them. but the fun of a pack of all six characters. at least to me.#should be like making big fun group songs like this? big idol songs etc. but mixing them. sounds like a nightmare#because its like. their noise just compounds together... here they did wonderfully and even then you can hear how it like#sounds less like 6 people singing and more like maybe 3 during the all together parts#such a shame. maybe someday we will get nicer releases. maybe

and one thing that is fun about using last.fm to track my music listening (even with the glitches with counting ive been having) is that i can change the "top tracks" viewing range to anything from "all time" to "last 7 days" so i can see what kind of week ive been having
