the really beautiful landscape/skyscape animation in makoto shinkai's works tends to be the big thing i see focused on and that is understandable and deserved like the weather and lighting effects are unREAL but i do think we should also appreciate how absolute insane the plotlines of his original movies get. at least two movies with in universe catastrophes with major ecological implications. the guns and explosions. theres that one movie i havent seen yet with the guy who turns into a chair (?)

Headcanons ask: can you rewrite Season 2 of Good Morning Call after Nao and Uehara breakup?

BUCKLE UP CAUSE THIS IS GONNA BE LONG: 

The morning after telling Uehara “let’s break up” feels like waking up from a years-long dream. After icing her eyes (swollen from all the sobbing) she discovers that it takes no time at all to make one breakfast and one lunch instead of two. She’s finished so quickly that, for once, Nao’s early to her first class. 

It’s in the middle of the period that she realizes with a jolt that she’s taking all general education courses, because she has no idea what to study. Her only dream has been to be Uehara’s girlfriend and, eventually, his wife. 

At lunch, Ota and Marina talk about a hundred things going on that she can’t believe she doesn’t already know about. Every follow-up question is met with either a sheepish look (Ota) or a careless wave of the hand (Marina). “We’ve definitely talked about this before,” they say. “You probably don’t remember because you were busy with something.”

They’re sweet enough not to state the obvious about who that something is. 

Was. 

Within a few weeks, life without Uehara fills up with everything else that Nao has let fall to the wayside. She starts studying so she can actually answer questions in class, instead of making lists of the things that Uehara likes. Instead of desperately freeing up her weekends for potential dates with Uehara, she finally makes it to Daichi’s games. Nights usually spent watching the scary movies that Uehara orders online, are now reserved for low-budget spa nights with Marina, or going out for drinks with the girls from the sewing club.

When she goes out, men flirt with her, sometimes. Nao is still too shy (too heartbroken, she tells herself, though it sounds more like something that’s supposed to be instead of something that is) to ever flirt back.

Not texting him with dumb things, just anything she can think of to get a response, is harder than she thought. At some point, each of her friends will end up taking Nao’s phone and locking themselves in the bathroom with it. Nao’s always mad in the moment, but she ends up baking them dessert as a thank you every time . After all, it’s not like texting him would change anything, even if Uehara was the type to answer.

He probably would, Nao thinks. But that doesn’t mean she should do it.

Abe writes another play, and though he refuses to ever cast her with an onstage part again, he lets her be his stage manager. Though it fills her entire schedule for a solid two weeks, and she gets back to her apartment at wee hours of the morning, it’s an incredible amount of fun.

Even though the door next to hers remains closed, she knows Uehara’s light only goes off when she’s safely inside. It’s not enough, but it means something. Nao wouldn’t pretend otherwise.

Nao just barely passes her midterms by the skin of her teeth. She quits her job at the shop to find something on campus, so she can have more time to study. Luckily, the communications department offers one-semester positions at the help-desk to students. With her friendly demeanor and dedication to solving problems, Nao is readily accepted.

And if leaving her other workplace means that Natsume can’t watch her from the back room, eyes carrying all the hopes that he’s not brave enough to admit, then that’s just the way things are.  

Mitsuishi comes to visit. Naturally, he hears the story from Uehara first. He asks Nao questions, some of which are an easy to answer (It wasn’t because of Saeko) and some of which are harder (I don’t know what it would take to fix it).

“It’s funny, Nao,” he says, slinging one arm around Marina’s waist and the other around Nao’s shoulders. “I thought you’d have to be a very different person to dump Uehara. But you seem even more like yourself, lately.”

She laughs, shakes her head as though she doesn’t understand. But that night, Nao turns the words over and over in her mind like a diamond, wondering how it was exactly what she needed to hear.

Right before second semester, the problems start. Natsume visits Uehara’s apartment at least three times a week--perhaps to try to accidentally-on-purpose run into her, or possibly to try to get them back together, or Uehara’s just making sure she doesn’t end up dating him. Nao doesn’t know what to say to either man; with the way they stare at her, she knows that they expect something. It’s her responsibility, in their eyes, to say something that will fix it. Or at least to give them a clue on how Uehara can.

But, if she’s being honest with herself (and she promised she would, now that she’s going to be a real adult)? Nao doesn’t want to.

Instead, she finds a new apartment a few blocks down and moves in when she knows Uehara’s out of town to visit Yuri and Takuya.

Maybe it’s the coward’s move, but she can breathe easier after it’s done.

Her new apartment is big and bright, and when she decorates Nao finds all kinds of things that she’s long left untouched. Old photos of her friends, Kitaura’s cell phone number scrawled on a piece of paper so they could keep in touch while at separate colleges, a gift card from Yuri to a “real grown-up lady’s store”. Her high school certificate, the lumpy hand-stitched handkerchief she started and abandoned for her dad’s birthday, and finally a report she made in junior high, writing that someday, she would go to school to be a kindergarten teacher.

Nao sits on the kitchen floor, sobbing in shame and embarrassment, for centering her entire life around someone other than herself. Pressing her hands to her cheeks, she promises that from now on, my dreams should be about me.

Because she’s still unpacking, Nao orders ramen for dinner. She calls Kitaura’s number, catching up while she eats. When she quietly admits that things are over with Uehara, Kitaura laughs and says, “I thought that might happen.”

Nao wonders how everyone but her could see it for so long. The lack of pity in Kitaura’s voice is strangely exciting, though.

They make plans to talk again, and visit over break. It’s a weird joy to schedule her time around a group of friends, instead of a single boyfriend.

She submits her request for an education major. The next time she orders ramen, Nao and the delivery boy stare at each other in stunned surprise. Issei, as it turns out, has wondered what she’s been up to.

They go to a movie. A comedy, one that they both laugh at. One night turns into another, and another, and another. Sometimes Ota joins them; sometimes it’s Daichi and Nanase; but most of the time, it’s just the two of them.

When she tells him about Uehara, sitting on the couch red-penning the poster for Abe’s latest project, Issei seems to freeze. His gaze is guarded when he asks, “Do you miss him, Nao?”

It’s hard to explain how the answer can be yes and no. But Issei is the kind of person that won’t judge her for struggling with something like that, so Nao tries her best to explain.

Sometimes she thinks about kissing Issei. Not now, when she’s still getting pieces of herself back; but maybe someday.

Part of her expects the day to come when Uehara knocks on her door, breathless and not wearing a coat, arms hanging loosely at his sides like he doesn’t know what to do with them. It’s deja vu, when he asks her to come back and says he’s sorry, really sorry, I don’t want to be without you anymore. He starts to say he loves her, and Nao feels the words from deep within her heart spill out from her lips before he can finish.  

“The Nao that you remember, that you’re in love with, isn’t here anymore. She always chose you. This time, I choose myself.” 

Shutting the door on him is the hardest thing she’s ever done in her life. But she does it, and the world doesn’t end.

 Instead, Nao has finally found herself.

As we worked together, our camaraderie grew.

Nakayama: Long time no see. [We haven’t met] since we ate together in March?

Yamada: I saw you more recently [than that].

Nakayama: No, no, I have not seen you for about half a year already!

Yamada: Oh, is that so? (Laughs)

Nakayama: Lately, Yamada-kun has been so busy, you know. I am worried about your health.

Yamada: Everything’s OK! When was the first time we met?

Nakayama: It’s Hawaii. 2007.

Yamada: That's right, and since Yuma said "he knows everything about pro wrestling", we ended up challenging each other [to a match]. Then I won (laughs)! I was soooo disappointed!

Nakayama: Moreover, even though I used all my skills right from the start, you got out of [the hold] easily and counterattacked; the difference in power was evident. I did not want to do it again (laughs).

Yamada: At that time, Yuma ... was like an imp (laughs). I was seriously thinking, where did they find this kid? Well, you grow up into a beautiful [man]. Johnny-san’s eye for people is amazing!

Nakayama: In contrast, Yamada-kun was already fully formed at that time. I was shocked that "a person with such a beautiful face exists!”

Yamada: No, no. Before I debuted, I was also a bit of an imp (laughs). We started really hanging out after the formation of NYC, right?

Nakayama: That's right. (Looking at the interview from that time) At that time I was still living in Osaka, so I had to come to Tokyo every time we had NYC related interviews ... it took 5 hours to make the trip for a 2 hour interview and photo shoot. I thought “did I really have to come to Tokyo?” (laughs).

Yamada: It was tough to commute, wasn’t it? But at that time, Chinen (Yuri) or I did not know how to talk [in interviews] at all, so we relied on Yuma for the heavy lifting.

Nakayama: No, I feel like I was was just following Yamada-kun.

Yamada: No that wasn’t right, I think you helped us a lot. ... Anyway, I enjoyed NYC's activities. Even now, Chinen and I will say "I want to do that again someday".

Nakayama: It is the same for me! It was such a great experience.

Yamada: As we worked together, our camaraderie grew. Now, when I see a program where Yuma appears, I will go like "Oh, you can do it, my friend".

Nakayama: Since I usually work alone, I am happy to know that you look at me as a comrade! ... From that time till now, we have never once fought with each other, right?

Yamada: No, not at all. Often, I am pretty strict with people, but I have never once said such [harsh] things to Yuma. Yuma is someone who [always] do things properly, and I recognized that. Anyway, because you were getting into the role for the drama "Hokuto", you cut off all interactions with those around you and was living without a television or a mobile phone! There are not many people who can do that. I really admire this professionalism!

Nakayama: Well, I happen to be in an environment that [allowed me] to do so.

Yamada: Also, the director of the drama was Takimoto (Tomoyuki)-san*, who is a perfectionist (laughs). I understand that very well because he took care of me in my movie. However, I do appreciate the tough [love] since it allowed me to grow. Even now, when I met him somewhere, he would challenge me by saying "Nakayama’s performance is sooo amazing" (laughs).

*Takimoto Tomoyuki was the director of Grasshopper.

Nakayama: He did the same thing to me, he told me "had it been Yamada, he would be able to act beyond [my] imagination..." (laughs).

Yamada: We each have to thank Takimoto-san for the definite change in our understanding of acting... Someday, don’t you think it will be nice if Yuma and I can work together in Takimoto-san’s work, in whatever format it will take?

Nakayama: That will be great. It will be nice to co-star after we mature more [as actors]!

I want you to move forward in a peaceful manner.

Nakayama: Speaking of Hey! Say! JUMP, you guys can play instruments and dance and sing ... I think you are an almighty group. It is fun to watch!  [T/N: Yuma actually said almighty, so I am keeping it even though it sounded a bit intense.]

Yamada: I am happy to hear that.

Nakayama: In addition, Yamada-kun is also in charge of the choreography. Really what skills do you have! (laughs)

Yamada: It was indeed hard to choreograph for nine people (laughs). However, I was able to see the group in a new light and I learned a lot.

Nakayama: Also, I like the relationship between members. I hope it will remain unchanged, and that you guys can move forward [step by step] in this peaceful manner.

Yamada: (smug look) Got it.

Nakayama: "Got it" [you say] (laughs).

Yamada: Hahaha, no really, rather than setting some lofty goal and trying to work towards that, as Yuma said just now, I rather steadily work on the things in front of us one at a time. I think something [good] will naturally come out of this.

Nakayama: I will cheer for you. After our talk today, I again realize that Yamada-kun is someone who is walking ahead of me. I want to catch up too, but despite chasing [after you] desperately, this guy will move ahead at an even greater speed (laughs).

Yamada: (smug face again) Got it!

Nakayama: So it is “Got it!” again. (Laughs)

Yamada: Hahaha, but for me, other than the members, Yuma is the only one in the same generation that I recognize!  You are a one and only existence.

Nakayama: I'm glad to hear that.

Yamada: I don’t think our relationship will change. It seems likely we will keep having this relaxed atmosphere between us.

Nakayama: It is usually like this.

Yamada: For some reason, at the moment Yuma meets me, he will switch to keigo (polite form of speech), it is something that never changes~ (laughs).

Nakayama: I guess that is my innocent side coming out.

Yamada: Is this your last ditch attempt at increasing your likeability?

Nakayama: Lies, lies (laughs). Congratulations on the 10th anniversary of your debut.

To Yuma,

I am saying what I usually say (laughs).  Yuma will definitely continue an active role as an actor and I think you will have a work that can be your masterpiece. However, I do not want you to [just] say “I am an actor”, as a Johnny’s talent, please take the opportunity to challenge different genres one at a time!

3. Do you know why you’re called that? "It’s a family name! It was my Jiji’s name, he passed away not long before I was born so my parents just kinda… named me after him, I hope I can make him proud!”

4. Are you single or taken?  “Taken”

5. What are your powers and abilities?  “I can inhale a giant ice cream sundae without putting on any weight, that and I’m pretty good at the Quad Toe Loop!”

6. What color are your eyes?  "I’ve been told they’re amber in a certain light and caramel in another? I like amber, sounds mysterious”

7. Have you ever dyed your hair?  “W-well… I’m a blonde Asian kid with a bright red streak in my hair of course I’ve dyed my hair! I have to touch it up every other week cause my roots grow through really quickly, I’ll do an all over dye every month to make sure it never fades, the red is the hardest bit to keep the same though!”

8. Do you have any family members?  "Oh plenty!! My family is pretty antisocial though since we’re all busy half the time, most of us are doctors, kinda runs in the family at this point, even I’m studying medical sciences right now in preparation for medical school, not that I’m… entirely sure on whether or not I wanna go down that route cause it’s so far away from skating but--- wait what was the question?? Oh! Family, yes… yes I have my parents and my brother, a few grandparents and some cousins, I don’t see them very often though, very busy” 

9. Do you have any pets? "Yeah!! I have Mocha, she’s a ragdoll cat, my parents got me her when I was younger cause I was a little too hyperactive and they figured a cat like Mocha would help me calm down and it worked she used to get super iffy with me if I went overboard and It was a little depressing when she ran away so I had to calm down before I could pet her, it helped a lot, I used to be a lot worse than I am now!”

10. Tell me something you don’t like.  “I hate spicy food? I cant handle it my tongue says no”

Do you have any hobbies or activities you do in your spare time? “I love going to the movies and the arcades when I’m not skating, I have become a claw game king, trust me, point me to any claw game and I will get anything you want from it, I’m a master, other than that I go jogging every morning”

Have you ever hurt anyone before?  “I used to do a few martial arts classes to help me learn more about what my body could do, and of course strengthen myself up for figure skating, I… may have dislocated someone’s shoulder during classes we took him straight to the hospital of course but, it was just an attempt at a manoeuvre that went really wrong”

13. Have you…ever killed anyone?  “Oh gosh no!! I… honestly don’t think I could!”

14. What kind of animal are you?  “Errrr… I’m a human? But I suppose people often say I’m like a puppy, or a kitten, I think I’m more like a bouncy lil bird though”

15. Name your worst habits.  “I’m a little over the top, I take the phrase ‘go big or go home’ really literal except I never take the go home option, I’m really hyperactive and sometimes that puts people off, but habits wise I eat a lot of crap that my coach would hate if she actually knew about”

16. Do you look up to anyone?  “Yuuri Katsuki… primarily Yuuri Katsuki but like… Yuri Plisetsky is a huge inspiration too I mean… he’s really great… so fierce…”

17. Gay, straight, bisexual?  “Neither! I’m Pansexual, I think everyone is beautiful, don’t try and deny it you’re all gorgeous!”

18. Do you go to school?  “YEP! I’m currently in upper secondary school, however I’ll be going into Medical School after this year ends, I dunno if it’s the right course for me but I can’t put it off, so I’m gonna go and have that option for when I eventually retire from skating”

19. Do you ever want to marry and have kids someday? "Yes, I have every intention of getting married and I’d LOVE kids, kids are great but I dunno if my partner will want kids or not, I hope he does”

20. Do you have any fans? "I DO, I was really surprised… apparently I have a fanclub, I didn’t know! Hikaru found them on Instagram a few months back and we’ve been sneakily following them to see if they’re keeping track of me”

22. What do you usually wear?  “Anything comfy really, I do like ripped jeans though, and hoodies that… honestly aren’t mine so they’re usually really oversized on me”

23. Do you love someone?  “Friends… family… my cat, my boyfriend is pretty great too but don’t tell him that he’ll never shut up about it”

24. What class are you?  “Class??? Like... Middle class? Working class? That kind of class? Uh... I dunno, my family is pretty well off so i’d say upperclass? But we all work for it... Upper Working class i suppose?”

25. How many friends do you have? "A few!! They’re spread out all over the place though cause most of them are through figure skating, I spend a lot of money on plane tickets to visit friends through the year”

27. Favourite drink  "I’m gonna be really boring for once and say flavoured water… strawberry is really nice”

29. What is your favourite place?  “I really like the beach! But the arcades are my favourite places other than the rink, they’re so much fun”

Hey everyone! It’s been a long ride but I finally made a huge milestone! 500 plus followers! I’ve never dreamed I would have have so many of you following me. It brings a tear to my eye that everyone loves the meme son so much! Especially with all of you so cool and awesome. And being such good friends. @beyondarrest I don’t talk to you much but the conversations we did have, mostly us making jokes that Akira was Katsuya’s son and actually making it happen was one of the best moments I’ve had ever since I made this account. 31 Days - Part 7

Summary: You come to Korea to visit your family after you graduate from college. Soon, you find yourself falling for a guy you meet online. There’s only one problem—you’re only in the country for thirty-one days.

When you woke up, his arms were wrapped tightly around you. You yawned and checked your phone to see what time it was. It was eight in the morning. Since he didn't feel your movements from behind you, it was safe to assume that he was still fast asleep.

You didn't have sex with Tae. You wanted to and you were sure that he wouldn't have minded, but it would've been too much. Instead of giving in to the temporary feeling, you didn't go further than just making out and feeling each other up. After all, you only knew each other for three weeks. Wasn't that too soon to be having sex? Did things like that matter to him?

Before you stopped, he had mentioned that he was a virgin.

And you said, “It’s okay. You should lose it to someone you care about.”

“I care about you, it's just…” He paused. “Maybe we’ll meet again someday.”

It was wishful thinking. You didn't know how much money Tae had or anything like that. It seemed to you that he was an average guy with a job and he just so happened to have a small apartment that his grandmother left behind for him. And you weren't rich either. Your parents had helped get you here but you didn't have much in your savings. Basically, you didn't know the next time you'd get to come back to Korea. And you didn't know when or if Tae would come to the states. It would definitely be easier to meet up there. You wouldn't have an international flight to catch.

And you left it at that, both of you deciding that it wasn't a good time to have sex, even if you wanted to.

You had thought about staying so many times. You didn't mention it to anyone but you definitely spent nights you couldn't sleep thinking about it. What if you didn't go back to New York? What if you applied to jobs here in Korea? What if you started your life here rather than back home? You had a place to stay here. Your grandmother would probably be happy if you stayed. You could help her around the house with cooking and cleaning. You could spend more time with your cousins and improve your Korean. Basically, you had the ability to stay in Korea.

It was stupid, you realized. Your main reason for wanting to stay was Tae. And that wasn't a good enough reason to throw your old life away just to stay here. You liked South Korea a lot and, honestly, you could probably live here without any problems. But, again, it was dumb. Staying wasn't a guarantee that Tae would be with you. Even if it was, there was no guarantee that you would stay together. All things, no matter how good, came to an end. Sometimes bitter, sometimes sweet.

From behind you, he stirred. He sat up, rubbing his eyes. Seeing that you were awake, he said, “Morning. Did you sleep okay?”

You nodded. “Fine.”

He kissed your forehead. “I didn't snore did I?”

You rolled your eyes. “I could hardly get any sleep.”

His cheeks started turning red from embarrassment. “Really?”

You laughed. “I was just kidding, Tae.”

And he laughed, too.

Tae’s time with you was running out. Tomorrow was the last day that he could see you. He had to be back to Seoul the following morning. Unfortunately, he couldn't even see you off.

He saw you today and the day before that. Between those two days he went to the movies with you, to the arcade, to the night market, and he went with you, scrambling around Daegu to get last minute souvenirs. He spent as much time with you as he could. Your grandmother probably wondered where you went each time but she must've assumed that you made a bunch of friends or something.

After he took you back home, he went to the department store you were in earlier. There was a necklace he saw you looking at. He went back and bought it. It was expensive; that was why she walked away at first. But he wanted to buy it for you, no matter what you thought of the price. He wanted you to see the necklace and automatically think of him and the fun times you had in Korea, even if you slowly forget over time.

Of course, he hoped you wouldn't forget him. On his way home, he couldn't help but think of how cruel life was being to him. Sure, he was an idol. He had lived happily like this for a long time. But he had never liked someone like this. He had crushes in middle school and high school but nothing had ever come from it; he kept those feelings to himself and didn't act on them. This was the first time he had the opportunity to act on his feelings and, just his luck, you were leaving at the end of the week. And to make matters worse, he wouldn't even be able to see you the night before. He had to make do with what he had, which was seeing you tomorrow before he left for Seoul again. His break was over and so was yours. It was all bittersweet.

There was a small part of him wished that he hadn't met you. At least if you never met him, he wouldn't feel like this. At least his heart wouldn't hurt every time he thought about the fact that you were leaving. His heart broke over and over again, realizing that soon you'd be thousands of miles away from him. He wouldn't be able to touch you, hug you, or kiss you. He didn't know whether or not you would talk to him after leaving. Would you reach out to him, calling him on FaceTime or just sending him a simple text message? Or would your relationship stay behind in South Korea, no hope of being rekindled in New York. At the concert in March, would you even want to see him?

He hadn't talked to you about his feelings. The most terrifying thing was if he felt more strongly than you did. You said that you liked him but, in reality, those were just words. Did you mean what you said or were the words useless?

He wasn't this worried a few days ago, when you spent the night together. He supposed that it was partially because you were right in front of him. And at that time, he had no worries aside from whether or not you wanted to have sex with him. He'd been so worried. He knew that American culture was different and that it was possible that you were already experienced. But it was also possible that you weren't experienced. Of course, he didn't want to make assumptions about your sexual experiences.

Regardless, it was a bad idea. If he had sex with you, he'd want you more. He would've grown an attachment to you, just a few days before your scheduled departure.

Your cousins were helping you pack up your things, taking your clothes out of the closet and drawers of your aunt’s old bedroom. They were sad to see you leave, too.

“We go back to school this week,” Yubin said, “and you're leaving…”

“Yeah,” added Yuri. “You're the only cousin we have on our mom’s side. We don't really see the ones from our dad’s side.”

Yubin said, “Are you going to come back?”

“I want to,” you explained, “but life doesn't always work out that way.”

“What about Tae?” Yuri asked.

“I mean, hopefully we’ll stay in contact but I don't know. He said that he wants to see me tonight. He has to go back to Seoul in the morning…”

Yubin sighed. “So why didn't you invite him to dinner tonight? Grandma said that you should invite your friends. Why'd you say he was busy?”

“Wouldn't it be too much?”

Yubin shook her head. “Not unless someone mentions that he's an idol.”

Yubin had a point. Your grandmother could hardly keep up with her favorite actors and actresses. She definitely didn't know the names of idols. According to your cousins, she often confused BTS and BTOB. She definitely wouldn't know Tae by face. And if you didn't mention the group, she wouldn't know his status as a celebrity.

Your grandmother had insisted on cooking a big dinner before you left for the states in the morning. You had suggested going out to a restaurant instead but of course, she rejected your suggestion. She said that you needed a home cooked meal before you returned home to her son’s mediocre cooking. And you laughed.

“You're right,” you said, picking up your phone to text him with an invitation to join you for dinner.

You just hoped that your family didn't do anything embarrassing during dinner.

Tae knocked on the door. He was nervous as all hell but he wasn't going to pass up his last opportunity to spend time with you, even if it involved your family. It was a good sign that you wanted him to meet your family, even if it was only your grandmother, aunt, uncle and cousins. Part of him was excited and the other part was ready to turn around and run the other way. But it was too late; he already rang the doorbell.

He wasn't sure what to say. Of course, he wouldn't reveal that he was an idol. He'd make something up. He wished that he didn't have to lie but, of you understood his situation, your family would have to understand too. Especially if you ended up together with him in the future. But, again, that was him being hopeful.

You came to the door, looking as beautiful as ever. Your hair was pulled back and you were wearing a simple outfit–a blouse and a pair of jeans. You looked down at her feet, noticing that she had a pink sock and a grey sock on.

You said, “Nice socks, Y/N.”

“Shutup,” you muttered, giving him a quick hug.

He wanted to hold you and rest his head in the crook of your neck but he didn't want to be disrespectful to your family. He wasn't even sure what you had told them about him. He grew a little curious.

Since you didn't make much of an effort to make more physical contact with him, he thought it was safe to assume that your family didn't know much about your relationship.

“Come,” you said, “Everyone is in the kitchen.” He followed you into the kitchen, where your family was waiting patiently for your guest to enter. “Everyone, this is my friend Taehyung.”

He bowed before your family and said, “Thank you for inviting me.” He held up a bag. “I brought some fruits.”

“Thank you,” your grandmother said. “You seem like a sweet boy. Are you the friend that Y/N is always with?”

He nodded and grinned. “I'm sorry for stealing her away so much.”

“Well she could use a boyfriend…”

“Grandma!”

As she washed the lettuce in the sink, she said, “What?”

“Anyway,” you said. “I hope you're hungry.”

He chuckled. “I was actually going to eat something right before you texted me…”

Yubin said, “We’ve been waiting all day for this food. Grandma told us not to eat lunch so we’ve been starving to death all day.”

“It's a special occasion,” your grandmother said. “Of course you shouldn't eat before a big dinner. You have to eat everything I made.”

Yuri kept stealing glances at Tae. There was an idol in the kitchen after all. She could hardly hold it together.

Your aunt said, “Stop staring, Yuri. If you keep it up, a bug will fly in your mouth.”

Your grandmother turned and said, “He's handsome, right?”

Yuri nodded blankly. From what you remember, V wasn't her favorite member, but you could still understand her being starstruck. He was from one of her favorite kpop groups.

Oh my god. You cast Tae an apologetic look but he just smiled. You were sure he was enjoying seeing your face turn red from embarrassment.

“Let's just eat,” you said, grabbing the bowls of side dishes, heading to the dining room. Your cousins and Tae helped you with the other, smaller dishes, while the adults waited in the kitchen for the meat to finish cooking.

As soon as the four of you were alone together, Yuri said, “It's really you.”

Tae smiled. “Yeah.”

She turned to you. “You're the luckiest girl in the world, you know.”

You looked at Tae with a smile. “I told them not to tell anyone about you being here so you won't have to worry about anything.”

He nodded and turned to your cousins. “Thank you guys so much for respecting my privacy and keeping this all a secret.”

The dining room table was filled with all sorts of dishes, from kimchi to kalbi. Your grandmother had really outdone herself.

Your uncle finished grilling the pork. “Do you eat pork, Taehyung?” He nodded. Your uncle proceeded to place several pieces of pork on his plate.

Tae said, “Thank you.” Then he started stuffing his lettuce wrap with meat.

Your uncle said, “You're our guest so you should eat a lot.”

Your grandmother nodded saying, “Handsome guys like you have to grow up and become tall and strong.”

Tae smiled and continued eating as your uncle passed around pieces of the grilled pork.

Your family hadn’t embarrassed you too much over dinner, thankfully. They got to know Tae a little. They asked about his hobbies and favorite things. It was when they asked about his career that you got nervous.

He finished chewing what he had in his mouth and swallowed. “I work in the entertainment industry.”

Your grandmother raised her eyebrows, intrigued. “Is it music? Acting?”

“Music. I work at a small company.”

“Do you go to school?”

He nodded. “I take online classes. With my schedule, it would be hard.”

Your aunt said, “What company? The girls probably know it.”

He laughed nervously. “Probably not. I don't even think they have any artists that are big.”

Your aunt nodded. You were grateful that she didn't keep pushing the matter. The last thing you wanted was for him to feel uncomfortable at dinner. But he smiled and continued eating. That was a good sign, right?

“I'm sorry my family’s so embarrassing,” you said as you walked him to the door. “I'll walk with you outside…”

You slipped on your shoes and grabbed your coat before heading out.

He said, “I like them. They're good people.”

“They're alright,” you said, walking down the stairs. “Did you have a good time?”

He nodded. “Yeah. It was a good time. I'm glad I spent my last night in Daegu with you.”

You smiled. “I wish I had one more day…”

He said, “Me too.” As you got to the bottom of the staircase, he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close to his chest. “This is unreal…”

You rested your head on him. “What is?”

Still holding you, he said, “Everything. All of this. Meeting you, getting to know you, you not knowing who I was, kissing you, hugging you… Everything.”

You felt the same, but he continued. “I don't know if you feel the same. Or if your heart beats as fast or as hard as mine when you see me. Or if you're falling for me. But I'm falling for you. No—I already did. I think I'm falling in love with you, Y/N...”

Your lips parted. You didn’t know what to say. He said all of the things you thought about but never had the courage to say. They were things that you couldn’t bring yourself to say out loud. You didn’t want to seem desperate or dumb, so you kept quiet about how you felt.

You were falling in love with someone you could never have. Not completely, at least. Even if he asked you to be his girlfriend right here, right now, you couldn’t go public with your relationship. You’d have to keep it hidden from the world, potentially facing backlash from fans. Your cousins told you about incidents where people broke into idol’s dorms and where fans gave them a hard time out in the street or at the airport. Of course, you wanted to be with him. But would it even be worth it? You didn’t want Tae to have a hard life all because of you, a regular person who barely just graduated from college with your bachelor’s degree and didn’t have a plan.

You wanted nothing but the best for Tae.

“I think I’m falling for you, too,” you whispered.

He pulled away from you, a huge smile on his face. You could tell how relieved he was. After all, you could’ve rejected him completely. And he pressed his lips to yours, cupping your cheek with his hand.

“I have something for you,” he said, reaching into his pocket.

He pulled out the necklace you saw at the department store a few days earlier. Your eyes widened upon seeing it. Had he really been paying that close attention to you? He sensed that you liked it and went back to get it for you. No one had ever done something like that for you. He was so kind and so caring that it was almost too good to be true.

“I wanted to give this to you,” he said, “as a parting gift.”

Your eyes started watering as he unhooked it. He stood behind you and pushed your hair and sweater out of the way. He put it around your neck and hooked it securely. “You didn’t have to do this for me...”

“I wanted to.”

“Thank you, Tae.”

When he went to face you, there were tears in your eyes. You couldn’t help yourself. You broke down. Tae couldn’t stand it, so he just held you in his arms. You took him in completely, his scent, his presence, his touch.

“This isn’t the end,” he said, “I promise.”

1.��if someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to? - I'm going to try to make this as short as possible but I can't not explain, you know?

TV shows:

Star Trek: The Next Generation - Specifically season 1. I can't tell sometimes if it unintentionally influenced me when I fell asleep while my sister was watching it when I was a small child or I was always going to have similarities to Picard anyway. Also just in general, Star Trek and its positive aspects have influenced me as a person throughout my life.

Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy - It premirered when I was fourteen and really captured my adolescence better than anything else. It was really funny and reltable for me.

Supernatural - Seasons 1 - 5. While it's a deeply flawed show, I thought Kripke's version of Sam and Dean really reminded me of my little brother and me, which is why I ended up sticking with the show despite its problems. I found Dean to be especially relatable in how he couldn't quite be himself, was immature and mature, and felt personally responsible for Sam's well-being especially at the expense of his own well-being. After Kripke left, the aspects of the show I liked disappeared and more things I disliked began happening so I droped it.

Yuri on Ice - While I could have done without the nudity (I'm not a fanservice type no matter the circumstances), I found the characters to be like people I've met IRL. It's also really nice to see a non-straight romance between two adults that went on and beyond my expectations. Like I went into it thinking it'd be a little baity, but then it wasn't and it became so much more than I could have hoped for. YoI makes me feel like maybe someday I too will have a serious relationship, and I don't always feel that hopeful much anymore.

Movies

In general, history, travel, music, and crime documentaries sum up a lot of the non-fiction I watch. I also love cooking/baking programs/movies that are about the process rather than just about eating.

Jurassic Park (1993) - Classic 90's horror/scifi/fantasy with great effects and dionsaurs. I really enjoy this movie and watch it every so often when I run across it on TV and haven't seen it in a while.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (2001) - This movie really understands how I feel about having a sister eleven years older than me. The way Rohan fights to reconnect to Rahul and the way the brother express how they love each other is very relatable. It gives me a lot of feelings that I wouldn't have had if they'd had a closer age gap. The movie is insanely long and pretty melodramatic, but it's also a musical which gives it bonus points in my book. I love musicals.

Apollo 13 (1995) - This movie is kind of some of the stuff that connects me and my dad together. Both my parents are big non-fiction people, and so I grew up with things like World War II and the space race on our TV. This is also the first PG-13 movie I watched and I watched it with my dad just the two of us when it premired on cable.

Books

Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll - Ever wondered what it's like to have some of the types of epilepsy I have? A lot of the weird things that happen to Alice are things I've experienced including size perception distortion (though of course not to the extreme as depicted in the book).

Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery - I LOVED this book and PBS miniseries as a child. I read it so much I think I could almost recite it at one point. I also loved Sarah, Plain and Tall by Patricia MacLachlan because they are both well done children's historical fiction novels with endearing characters. It of course took me a long time to realize part of while I liked both these books was that historical fiction is one of my jams.

Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - I'm not sure if there's a spcific story/novel, but I found Sherlock Holmes to be very validating as a child. Holmes is intelligent, constantly plagued by boredom, can be both modest at times and unkind at others. He also in the stories seems to suffer from some sort of cyclical mood disorder that he's self medicating. All of these things were very relatable to me even as a kid. Also, they're mystery stories and I love mystery stories and forensics. I've always been fascinated by how to catch people who commit crimes and also how to identify red flags when it comes to criminals.

Music

I'm not sure what music to put. I listen to so many things because music is as heavy of a passion to me as writing is. It just comes so naturally to me. My mom says when she was pregnant with me I used to move around to 80's rock when she listened to the radio in the car. Probably my most listened to tracks and artists lists on my last.fm account might have more insight than I do off the top of my head.

13. inside or outdoors? - I like both. Outdoors is amazing because you can experience things like waterfalls up close and see sunrises, sunsets, the moon, etc.. so easily if you're in the right location. I also enjoy observing wildlife and I like my wildlife outside rather than inside always. As for inside, it's got some benefits too. It leads to less distraction when I'm trying to write. If a day is too hot for my nervous system I can also stay out of the sun easier. It doesn't bother me to spend every day outside or every day inside, though I do know that if I spend too many days stuck inside the house I have to get out every so often even if it's to go to another indoor place. ===Put a number in my ask box and I'll answer the corresponding question from this ask meme

Yeah Sam & Max are characters I never talked about on my Review page before, Basically starting out as Comic Strip Characters like Garfield, They began to hit big with there games and from what I've seen, They do not suck like Earth Defence Club in the like, But the Tell-tale game are what is the Resurgence to the Franchise, They came to me with a file of Complaint of Evil forces in the Neighbourhood, Alternate Dimensions making this one look odd, making fun of some Magical Boy groups without a licence, And turning a School Idol group evil... So they might be condemning my statues for the time being, But Max did say (Max: look on the bright side, You can stop with Phelous for the time being.... Considering that I've only covered three Pretty Cure All Stars movies so far (And probably defending the second DX movie and Phrasing two villains from Spring Carnival) I don't think I covered one of the Single team movies in general, in this case it shall be Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart the Movie released back in 2005 (Which is the first Pretty Cure movie ever to be made) with the Group that started this all, That's right everyone Cure Black and Cure White, along with there new recruit or stand-in Aid Shiny Luminous, Lets talk about the history, Well this Team started in 2004 Futari wa Pretty Cure or simply known to us all as Pretty Cure (PreCure for sort) this was the first series in the Pretty Cure metaseries created by Izumi Todo(Whom has become something of a God of PreCure). The original series, directed by Daisuke Nishio, aired on TV Asahi between February 1, 2004 and January 30, 2005 in the same timeslot as Izumi Todo's previous work Ashita no Nadja. It was the first of the Pretty Cure series to have received an adapted English-language version, Let me explain that more On February 25, 2006, 4Kids Entertainment announced broadcasting and distribution rights for Pretty Cure in the United States, though never produced an English version of it. In July, 2008, Toei Animation began making episodes available through IGN's Direct2Drive service subtitled into English, and have also started making those same episodes available for free internet streaming on the Crunchyroll website. (Unfortunately, This season along with the rest in the future never got dubbed at this point) Hence where we are not Reviewing the first Movie in the Franchise. Now the movie was directed by Atsuji Shimizu, I would look into some of the other things he's done but on Wikipedia, there's not much to look into I'm afraid, But at least we might learn more about them in the future, Now that we have that out of the way, Let's dive into the first Movie Pretty Cure movie that came into existence.

We begin our Story in a Dark and wet cave and for some reason a Pirate Ship is in it, (Wait a second, WE FOUND CAPTAIN MORGAN'S SHIP!) No it is home to our Antagonist of the movie the Dark Witch where she is looking into her Crystal ball for something that's interesting catches her eyes, Now she is voiced by Katsuki Masako now this might shock some people... She was the Voice of Sailor Neptune in the original Sailor Moon Series, She explains that she want's the Garden of Hope's Diamond line (Well that gonna cost you a lot) so she sends her minions the Zakenna's (Which the Pretty Cures of the first to seasons would usually fight) Now the opening theme here is from the first season which in this is the Max Heart version, Now to many fans the song is Iconic, How they put the opening in this movie kinda makes it feel like your watching an episode, Now we cut to our main protagonists of this movie and the Show itself let's start with Cure Black real name Nagisa Misumi who is voiced by non other then Yōko Honna whom some of you might know as Rin form xxxHolic, Ere from Oh my Goddess and Chika from The Cat Returns, In the English dub she is named Natalie Blackstone and was voiced by Rocio Barahona She is often known for her catchphrase of yelling "Unbelievable!" (Okey if you seen my other three Precure reviews before, and remember when I call her an Idiot, You must think I flat out dislike Cure Black, Which is not true, I do have some respect for her Character Development but when it comes to her personality... Well, I like to think of her as a special case, That or I like to make jokes about her) and Cure White real name Honoka Yukishiro who is voiced by Yukana who you might remember as Yuri Tanima from Wedding Peach and Mailin Li from Cardcaptor Sakura, In the English dub she is named Hannah Whitehouse and was voiced by Michelle Molineux, I sometimes see her as the Brainy girl to Nagisa's Stronger points like Yin & Yang are eating at Tako Cafe, and Akane Fujita / Alex Fujita who is voiced by Mikako Fujita says that if Nagisa keeps eating so fast and improperly, she'll never find a boyfriend. I'd take her word Nagisa, We wouldn't want your Female figure to go all Donute inside, But Hikari asks if it is Shougo / Shawn... Which makes her head blush, (Don't Hide it from me Nat, I seen the season where your going Red) Hikari Kujo aka Shiny Luminous by the way is voiced by Rie Tanaka who was Mars in Pokémon Diamond & Pearl and Shuri Kurosaki from Asura Cryin' (Good times) It's also not helped when He and his friend Kimata arrive, but is seems they are preparing for a Run... With Nagisa missing her chance to say something to the guy, I sometimes get the idea that she's afraid of boys, , Not sure if it's true or not but I can always speculate, After the boys left, Akane, Hikari, and Honoka were laughing in front of Nagisa, making her feel offended and almost went away, before Honoka noticed a diamond on her neck. Nagisa returned and everyone said it's really pretty. Akane-san said that she gifted this to herself for her birthday. While everyone were looking at the diamond, someone with a brown coat and hat was watching them. (Oh god it the demon creeper from Jeepers Creepers), While the girls and there Fairies Mipple said that she'd like to have one, and Mepple said that he'll definitely give her one someday. (phelous: HAHAHAHAAA HE said Mipple and Mepple HAHAHaaa) They got into love-love mode but suddenly returned to their commune forms, sensing a stalker. It keeps asking if they are really Pretty Cure. The girls were prepared to fight, and that figure kept asking them. Then more voices came from the invisible figure and he took of his coat. It appeared there were many things inside him and they started attacking Nagisa, Honoka and Hikari. The girls transformed into Pretty Cure and Shiny Luminous. And let me tell you something about the Transformation in this, IT's like they have been turned into Metal like the Liquid Metal T-1000 from Terminator 2, Shiny Luminous how ever doesn't have the same idea, But let me tell you something, She is "Life of the Queen" in human form after the Queen got split apart following her last encounter with the Dark King. They defeated those thingsand they reveal there true colours (Phelous: OH DEAR GOD, THE CREEPER IS REALLY THE GREMLINS, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES GIRLS!!! JWB: Noo... It's not the Creeper, It's much worse.) it appeared to be normal frog mascots with elastic arms. Oh god... This are the Courageous frog Warriors of the Garden of Hope. (Which I'm guessing is a Sister Location to the Garden of Light) we have Round I believe is the leader Oval, Heart, Pear, Trilliant, Marquis and.... GRRRR Square AHAHHHHHHHHHHHH They reveal to be that they were testing the Cures because they wanted them to protect their home world, the Garden of Hope. They explained their story about the Dark Witch, trying to thief their precious Diamond Line. Mipple, Mepple, and Pollun said that it's probably something similar to the Garden of Light's Prism Stones. They will help them; however, Hikari notices Akane will be really busy today. Then Honoka's grandma came, and they had to hide everyone in the closet. She asked to take off the laundry because it's going to rain. Sure deal with the Daily tasks first, I'm sure nothing bad will come while Time passes by... Later, the mascots kept asking them to come right now. Pesky little buggers aren't they, They said, that they'll give them charms - the proofs of courageous warriors in the Garden of Hope,, I guess that's the best way of Bribing them into it. So they go off and... I'm just saying cause there's some similarities in it. So they land in the most Meateor hitting earth like manner and seems Pretty Cure's Mascots are sleeping, Ahh good they might need the rest. But unfortunately for Pretty Cure... They'll be traveling to where the Frogs will guild them... on foot... (Khadger: Well, the Lang travel on foot might gain them some VP, But they might need some weapons to fight off some enemies along the way), They finally make it to a Castle that... Just an even bigger Diamond then the rest, These Damn frogs are living the dream aren't some enemies along the way), They finally make it to a Castle that... Just an even bigger Diamond then the rest, These Damn frogs are living the dream aren't that's when they meet the Prince... Why... They also head over to the Fountain of Hope where they are looking at a Frog Statue, I kid you not, It's explained that this is the Guardian God of the Fountain, The Kero Kero God, And gee, I wonder what there Queen will be like, I must question the idea of everything even the buildings being made of a Mineral that's is... harder then glass, the Garden of Hopes must have this very weird Diamond based economy, (Phelous: I can imagine some Pirates and Treasure Hunter's going crazy for this one, Isn't that Right Old Man? WOW This worlds fortune most be higher then my Cousins bank account, Old Mayor, ) So they meet the Queen who Greets them with her Horned Butler What the Damn hell is he? He then gives Pretty Cure the Diamond Line which is just a Necklace Earrings and a Bracelet, So that is what the Dark Witch is after... Not much to see there, Alright, And your entrusting the Girls that are still new to there upgrades season with it, you dumb shit, And the reason why they are entrusting them with them is that they are the Queens B-Day presents, Fare enough... and it gives hope to all the worlds, and if the Diamond Line is stolen, then all the hope is lost and all the worlds (including Garden of Rainbows) will be deserted in darkness, (This is quite a lot to take in so, Please take your time) before the trio agreed to help them. Later, when the mascots told girls about the party, And this is where I point out Why I really hate Square... Because he is the Biggest Ass-hole of the Group, Square opposes the Cures' help, and proves that the warriors should be protecting the Diamond Line, and now walks away. (Phelous: Trust issues much?) Anyway the mascots told girls about the party, and Pollun awakened. He met Marquis and they became friends. Honoka follows to talk with Square, but when they tried talking, And like a Prick he just ran away. And things start to get unsavoury, At the Party Square started making fun of them, that they can't work alone, only by combining their powers. (NEVER INSULT THERE FIGHTING TECHNICKS) Nagisa got furious at him and ran away, which makes Mepple follow her. Nagisa getting pissed like this is like me getting Angry at Square at this point. Don't forget She's bigger then him so She'd squash the Basterd. Then the prince came, and asked, did the witch already came. Honoka lied, that she went to patrol outside. (Okey I know that Telling the Prince on Square's Ass-hole behaviour might discredit him in front of everyone in the Party might make you girls look like bigger Asses, But Lying to the Prince is probably the Worse thing you can do, Have you heard of the Story of the Boy who cried Wolf, I though you where smarter then this Honoka?) Meanwhile, everything started and the Queen came out wearing the Diamond Line. She blessed the diamonds of the citizens, and went outside. Until.... Dark Witch Finally shows up to interrupted the celebration and begins to attack with her Zakenna, formed into a pirate ship. (Well gotta hand it to her, She is quiet creative) The knights tried battling her, and she transformed front of her ship to shark Zakenna. Without Nagisa, Honoka and Hikari could just watch. Then Hikari transformed to Luminous to fight until Nagisa comes, (Blame Square for making her Run off) but she was beaten by one shot... The witch triumphantly stole the Diamond Line from the Queen, According to the Dark Witch, she is one of the servants of the Dusk Zone, and her goal is to resurrect the Dark King with the Diamond Line, (Okey, Now I must say something about the Dark Witch's design, Abit alright but All I have to say Yish to that Hair do, Did Taz do his Spinning on there head?) since all the world will be imbalanced. Luminous halted her, but the witch knock her unconscious. Nagisa finally arrived to transform to Pretty Cure. (Nagisa: Sorry sorry, I was late, I had some minor Traffic involving Party people to deal with. Honoka: Ohh That's okey, Traffic Jams involving running crowds are hectic at times.) They tried fighting back, but they become flimsy, before the Dark Witch disappears. (Well that didn't go so well) Everyone, especially Square, blamed Black, (WOW, Not even the slightest amount of Remorse from the Blue Frog, And Admits that he was right without even acknowledging the whole they can't transform without the other SQUARE YOU F%$@ING MISRABLE FROG OF HATE!!!!!!, The Beast was at least was a sympathetic character when you get to know him more in Beauty and the Beast. And why are the rest of you Blaming Nagisa for this little Defeat you Dumb shits?) but Mipple and Mepple defend her. Sadly enough, Black just apologized to everyone and went away crying. So the just asked these girls to protect the Diamond Line without getting information about this Pretty Cure Group, That's abit rushed don't you think? Loo I admit, Maybe they screw up abit... on some occasions, But was this really necessary? This just pits some of the fairies as Sort-sighted Arrogant little Ass-hats that would kick anyone that screws up some of the most simplest tasks, Which is... Wrong And... I fell sorry for Cure Black in this, I don't blame her for being late for the battle, If Square had kept his Frogy mouth shut, Then the Out come would have been different, After the prince talks to Black and giving her his Badge of a Warrior, Then Black was walking the hall when White called her. They decided to go and take back the bracelet. Everyone (except Square, who was still thinking of them as burdens) (JWB: Square just shut the f#@$ up! Phelous: And I though Toad was annoying) seemed to be forgiven Black. Without the Diamond Line, the Fountain of Hope started parching, and the Garden of Hope started being wrecked too. Then everyone flied to the place where the witch is with the same spell. The prince tried to follow them, but he couldn't travel without his charm. (Then Why didn't you have another one in your Room... The People of the Garden of Hope are ether crazy or Just Stupid?) So they make it to the Ship Graveyard and... It seems she's been gathering a lot of Ships, I'm not impressed, I mean where's the Titanic? until the bat Zakenna broke the diamond, making them fall. White had to save Black from falling, because she can't swim. (Really Cure Black, You can't swim, Haven't you taken Swimming classes at school Nat?) While the battle goes on the Dark Witch decides Hay I want to fight Pretty Cure to. she prepares to battle the Cures. Square tries punching her with his elastic abilities, but she moved quickly and used a move on Square. YAY the Ass-holes got what he desearved, Pretty Cures decided to use Marble Screw Max, but the witch dodged the move with her gigantic dark element. Now, every ship was set ablaze. (JWB: Phelous, Just how powerful is this Witch? Phelous: It's Over 9000!!! JWB: WHAT 9000?) Anyway The girls tried to save everyone, but Marquis was missing, and Round finds his torn cape. Square blamed Pretty Cure,(IT WAS THE WITCHES FAULT YOU WALKING BLUE MISTAKE OF NATURE!!! I'm this close to ringing that Frogy neck of yours) but everyone else said, that it was the witch's fault. Then the charms reacted to the bracelet in order to discover Marquis. Well that's useful, So The Cures fight against the bats to proceeded to the witch and steal the ball from the Dark Witch. Pretty Cure were battling the witch, while the mascots carried the bracelet into the Garden of Hope, and started carrying it to the palace. While Battling Cure Black just remembered something, that today is a sale at chocolate store, and because of that witch she won't get in time to buy them (Cure Black, that's not important to this plot, though... Idiot!). But To the Girls credit there Fighting stills are kinda fast pace (Phelous: JWB, What's the status on Pretty Cures Powers? JWB: It's over 8000!! Phelous: 8000... That's not to bad) but she fired her move right in front of the girls' faces, making them collapse. Then Marquis came out of the ship to the Black, and the witch flew back to the castle to take back the bracelet. Well at least the Prince is Helping the Frogs take the bracelet to the Castle, Marquis cried of Pretty Cure. He said the spell, but nothing happened. (Holy shit are they really dead?) He started crying again, but the charm the prince gave to Black reacted. Trouble comes when The witch sent her bat Zakenna to fight the frog mascots, while she herself headed to palace. Prince and Hikari got to the palace, but the witch quickly appears. Prince tried battling the witch with his sword, but he was trembling, (Phelous: You know the Prince is bit of a weak moron isn't he?) even though he faces his fear. The Dark Witch fired at the prince, but Hikari sacrificed herself, and passes out. (NOT AGAIN, I'm getting the idea that She's not the most useful without her fellow Cures) Then Black and White got mad and stood to fight. (Ohh shits going down now!) The witch summoned dozen of bat Zakennas, and Black and White defeated them with one blast. (JWB: Phelous... What are the readings now? Phelous: T.t...t... 10'000!!!!!!!) Alright it's the final level and The witch transformed to her true form and started attacking cures. The girls were weak, but they still stood. White said, that for them to losing is "Really unbelievable". (Cure Black Hey!! That's my line! Cure White: Ohh Sorry, I couldn't think of anything else to say) The Queen now regenerates and commands everyone to give their powers to the girls. They have to believe in the cures and the diamonds. Everyone stood in circle around the cures, and gave them powers. Hikari woke up being transformed to Luminous. The Dark Witch summons her attack at everyone, but Square sacrificed himself barely to deny the attack. Ahh that was pretty Noble of him to Sacrifice his own existence for there's, Maybe he's learned something from this... But then again... Maybe not. Everyone, including Square, gave the girls their charms. They transformed into golden versions, and have the ability to fly and were too fast for the witch. allowing Pretty Cure to defeat the Witch for good... Okay there golden forms are nothing special in my opinion, Just gold versions of there Precure cloths with some extra features, At least it's not as stupid at Power Ranger's Metallic Armour that's really Glitter. The Garden of Hope and the Fountain of Hope reverted to normal. After a really tearful goodbye (With the Acceptation of Square having al little bit of Character Development), the girls returned back to their home. with Square in tears, (JWB: Ahh I love the sound of a Crying Ass-hole, What about you Phelan? Phelous: Yes, Feed me your tears you little Basterd Hahahahaa) And so this Movie ends with Hikari came back, Akane said that it's still her break. Honoka worried, that she didn't took off the laundry her grandma mentioned earlier. Then Nagisa saw a frog outside. Honoka claims that it's the Kero Kero God. The girls decided to try flying just the 2 of them, but nothing happened, reminding this playfully. Not sure that's how the Frog God works but that's gonna be something I'll have to accept without question, So Phelous did we learn something from this? that WE HATE THIS MOVIE COMPLETELY!!!!!

Okey Truth be told, We didn't hate it completely, It was... Okey for Pretty Cures first outing into movies, It's by all means not perfect, But it's enjoyable but Frustrating in places, Feels like it could have been a Movie that would Bridge the First season and the Second season, But it's alright, The Animation is okey for the most part, Probably the same budget as the show, Funny because this feels like a three part Episode, So I give this first Pretty Cure movie 7 out of 10, Also Square is an Idiotic and Untrusting Ass-hole, The other Frogs should have killed him for being this stupid, (But then Phelous and JWB see Square Hungged and such image shocked the two Reviewers) Ohh I guess we get the pleasure of Ghostbusting Square now... Man this is bad... Hope Sam & Max don't bust me for Murdering a Frog Mascot.

1. if someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to?read - One of my all-time favorite reading experiences was Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. The writing style and language was easy for me to consume and I loved the engaging nature of how man comes to question his own morality while also dealing with the fear of responsibility that one isn’t ready for. It’s the birth of science fiction and a great metaphor for how we as people assume we know best.I did also devour Fahrenheit 451 when I had to read it in school, because it felt so close to our reality but with some strong sci-fi elements that were vividly described and easy to visualize.  watch - I was gonna try to just pick ONE thing but I’m gonna have to pick  a few because they’re different genres - End Of Days - Rated R - Okay so I must confess that while this movie is rated R (because there is sexual content in it as well as other things) that I grew up watching it as a child. I loved seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger in a serious role as a melodramatic cop, like he’d stepped out of a noir film and into a biblical film about the end of the world. Gabriel Byrne plays a mysterious and alluring interpretation of The Devil, and it’s all around very odd business but I love this movie. Lots of spooky demon stuff, possession, body horror, and sexy nightmares.Star Trek (the 2009 film) - Rated PG-13 - I love TOS Kirk but AOS Kirk resonates with me on a deep emotional level. I went through a lot of the same struggles he went through growing up and so I really feel like I understand what he’s been through, and by that notion, seeing him overcome his personal obstacles as well as outside ones gives me hope. It took him a lifetime of self-deprication before he found his purpose and career goals in life, and honestly I hope that I’ll find that for myself someday, even if it takes Way Too Long and I do spend a lot of time hating where I’m at in life in a career sense. Plus, I love sci-fi.Rock Of Ages - Rated R - This kooky musical captures my love of life, the 80s (from a pop culture standpoint, not a socio-political one), and music. Also it has a gay couple in it who even kisses on-screen!!! It deals with sex positivity and the struggles of workers in the sex industry in a way that I feel like is much needed and honestly this gem goes underappreciated. PLUS, TOM CRUISE IN LEATHER PANTS, and if you either looked up the deleted scenes or watch the extended edition, you even get to see him pole-dancing. Overall, this musical deals with great coming of age analogies and how to learn to accept yourself, both your good parts and your faults. This musical is a gift and honestly if you like 80s-themed musicals, please check it out.Evolution - Rated PG - This movie…. This freakin movie…. It has an all-star 90s cast, and while it came out in 2001, it still has that classic 90s movie feeling but with more polish in its special effects due to its time of production and release date. You’ve got Mulder from X-Files dealing with aliens but in the most comedic, although sometimes raunchy way, and this is another movie that I grew up watching religiously when I was a child. This movie was so quotable for me, and I have a long time love affair with “Play That Funky Music” thanks to this movie. The way they end up beating the aliens and saving the human race is a huge spoiler but it’s SO AMAZING AND SILLY. Great punchlines throughout this whole thing. Humor I enjoyed as a child and jokes I appreciate as an adult, something for the whole family to enjoy. listen to - Pre-Fallen album Evanescence has some of my melancholy depression/need an escape from reality songs - “Forgive Me” is a nice peaceful ballad when you’re feeling sad about wronging someone, “Give Unto Me” is when someone else is feeling sad and you wish you could shoulder their burdens, “October” is the feeling when you’ve been working too hard and everything has become hopeless so you’re crying out, “Anywhere” is escapism where you fantasize about running away from your life to start something new with the person you love. For something more upbeat, I’d probably go with the Plans album by Death Cab For Cutie. It’s still relatively relaxing to listen to, but there’s more positivity, with some occasional lows in the album. Ultimately this album just feels like it captures the different states of humanity and relationships very well. Also I Will Follow You Into The Dark is a go-to duet for @spookyeyeimagery and I to sing together. 

8. what musical artists have you most felt connected to over your lifetime?Blue October’s entire discography is a tale of how one moves through life with depression and I feel that. This is another one that you could listen to to understand me better, especially since Justin so clearly and vividly depicts the image of what depression feels like for a listener who might not understand what living with it is like. My favorite tracks include “For My Brother^”, “The Feel Again (Stay)”, “Razorblade^” (tw self-harm, rape in this one), “Amazing^” (cw kind of sexual but i usually just imagine general intimacy/cuddling), “Come In Closer^”, “James^”, “Somebody^” (tw abuse), “Drilled A Wire Through My Cheek” (cw sex, but it’s consensual, not rape), and then to round out all the depression with some positivity, “Not Broken Anymore.” Songs marked with ^ have live versions of the songs that I enjoy as well as the studio versions. Poets of the Fall would me my other choice, not because of mental health reasons at all but because the way that Marko writes and performs, and generally the final compositions of the songs just feel very familiar to me, but not in a way like “oh yeah i’ve heard this kind of song before, (insert band here) did something similar.” Poets of the Fall’s music makes me feel like it’s a group of old friends I’ve known for a while, even though I haven’t met a single one of the members of the band. It’s just a level of kindred nature I guess in their music that really resonates with me. 

20. would you rather be in middle earth, narnia, hogwarts, or somewhere else?HMMMMMM… This is hard because there’s pro/cons for each one… Honestly I might go with Gotham instead because um, Batman??? But also I think the DC levels of universe weird are the right kind of weird for me.

35. who was the last person to make you laugh? One of my FC mates in FFXIV. Those guys are awesome, I love them. They feel almost like family, does that make sense? At one point, I know that I felt like that with Jade Eagle (GW2), but we’ve been getting so many members for a while - we’re at around 100, and we had only 13 when I joined in 2014 - and I just don’t feel close to them anymore. But Lumia is completely different. I haven’t even been there for a year, but since the beginning, it just feels so good to be around them.

36. which is better: sour or sweet candy? I love both, but I’ll take sour.

37. do you believe in aliens? Hell yes. No way we’re the only ones in such a big ass universe.

38. dawn or dusk? Dawn. I love watching the dark slowly fade away and give way to the colors of sunrise.

I studied it for two and a half years, until mid 2016, but after that no classes opened for my level, so I had to take a break. I hope they reopen soon, I’d really like to study more, but I wouldn’t be able to do it myself. At the same time, though, I feel like I should answer English, because even if it’s not my first language, and I don’t live in an English speaking country, it’s the one I go to; it comes way more naturally to me than Portuguese, and it’s so much easier to talk about certain things in English. (As a side note, I really want to study Russian!)

43. If you could have coffee with any person, dead or alive, who would you have it with? I want to say Nikola Tesla, he was awesome, and I usually say his name in these things, but also, if I could have coffee with my favorite authors and discuss theories and whatnot, I’d be the happiest person alive.

✨Star Atlas Zine✨

I received my Star Atlas package this week!! I was a little late uploading this since my internet is so bad and I’m trying to figure out how tumblr works.

Edit: Our internet speed was just recently upgraded (thank you mom!!!), so this post was much later than I expected to have posted it. But at least it’s finally posted? I guess? (this is so late, omg)

First off, sorry for the bad image quality. My phone is not that great. igh.

Anyway, the Star Atlas Zine has a few bundles that they offer, and the bundle I purchased was the Voyager Bundle. It Includes 1 physical zine, 3 A5 prints, 2 sticker sheets, and 1 keychain! The pic below is all of them:

Also! The bubble wrap!! It is so pretty! I have a pic of it right here:

This zine itself was really pretty! The gold foil on the cover is beautiful, and the art is just precious. Space lovers wearing their pretty, sparkling engagement rings.

I don’t know how much I can show you on this post, but I have a lot of favorites in this zine! Especially Astra Inclinant by @okwtr <3. And the accompanying art by mikkapi is awesome as well! Otabek in a desolate planet, meeting fallen star Yuri is a jam I totally never knew I had. It’s like Treasure Planet meets Star Wars the Force Awakens and Stardust. (I love all these movies so Astra Inclinant was perfect!)

Also, special mention for @tosquinha ‘s art, because you’re the main reason why I purchased this zine. Your art has so much detail that you’re going to be pleasantly surprised by every new thing that you’ll see each time you take a good look. (I loved every bit about the zine in the end, so getting this bundle was a really good call. I’m following every contributor in this zine now, because of this project)

B-612 by badkisser is also a fic that I love and hate at the same time. It is heartbreakingly beautiful, thank you! The short comics paired with it made by @shelliihe was so adorable and charming as well!!

All in all, this is an amazingly cosmic project! and I am over the moon happy with how it turned out!!! For a first zine, that was soo not bad at all. Despite the delays from the crew, the end product was really, extremely good. Thank you to the crew and contributors for all your hard work!

I’ll be adding the crew and moderators below to give thanks and my additional thoughts about their works! :D (and also spoilers maybe? for those who haven’t gotten theirs yet.

@aaaliyaamj Yuuri and Victor on a stargazing date! The sky full of stars and a peek of the Aurora Borealis made your art look so whimsical and calm.

@tybirb This is a movie. This should be turned into a movie. Victor doing whatever it takes to get his Yuuri back, and Yuuri being all smart and resourceful and dramatic doing anything to survive and communicate back to Victor. With love giving them the power and hope to go against all odds and finding each other in the end!!

@babypears Russian Space Scientists Team!! Your art style is so unique and your use of colors and lines are awesome.

@awanqi THE SKY. OMG THE SKY. The use of colors and how you layered them is fantastic! I can almost feel how the wind blows through the image, and the way you drew Victor is beautiful. Is he looking for something? or maybe someone??

@helllodeer This is such an exciting fic!!! This should be a novel!! I’m not so knowledgeable about deep space conspiracies, but your story is so interesting. I searched about the detail that you featured in this story and it’s so appropriate for Victor and so funny for me. I partly believe in aliens, hahaha, because the universe is soooo vast that it is impossible that we are the only intelligent beings occupying it. It may be humans like us, or another versions of us. It maybe exact replicas of us, doing the same things we do, experiencing the same events as us, y’know?? Or maybe beings sooo different from us! There’s just no telling because there’s no evidence against it. So anything is possible!

@gehirnkaefer Why’s Yurio alooone? He looks so lonely! His image of listening to music while staring into space is so solemn. Or maybe he’s just having alone time away from his annoying crewmates? Yurio would totally do that. Your art shows so much emotion and feels so cold, but wonderful nonetheless!

@winchilsea’s fic “A Long Conversation in Space” features Yuuri and Phichit as heavenly bodies talking about what they are, what they do, what they’re supposed to be, and their past experiences. Most of the phrasing is really deep, I’m not a native English speaker, so this was a little hard for me to read and understand. The use of words is wonderful, nonetheless. But I’ll be honest, this is a fic that I might need to read repeatedly before I see and understand its flow. Which is a great excuse to visit this wonderful zine again and again!

@chronovale Made an art piece where Yuuri and Victor are embracing each other literally wearing the universe! I think they’re both separate galaxies ‘cause they both have stars, planets, and moons in their clothing. But maybe they’re in the same galaxy living within each other’s space! I love it!!

@villainsbynecessity Hikoboshi and Orihime feels!!!! Your Yuuri and Victor, literal star-crossed lovers depiction is so nice!! They’re both really happy in your art, and I’m really happy with this one too :D

@hatepotion Are these reminiscent of Tarot cards? I also have very limited knowledge about astrology, but if they are, then Yuuri and Victor representing The Sun and The Moon are very accurate! Yuuri the solitary being that seems cold, but in truth, he’s just shy but still the brightest thing in the sky at night. Victor is the sun because people just can’t help it but want to get close to him, but he never lets them too close. But somehow, against all odds and science, these two just can’t keep their hands off each other <3 <3 <3

@maydraws_ Made the art to accompany “A Long Conversation in Space”. The mix of mythic astronomy (is that even real? I don’t know) and traditional Japanese(?) art is wonderful! It’s simple, but the earthy tones and visuals are breathtaking. It really shows Yuuri’s solemnity in the fic and Phichit’s role as his companion.

@elleshivers Are Yurio and Beka supposed to be wearing Filipino pre-colonial inspired clothing?? If so then you did a really good job!! Your art has a mythological feel to it that I just had to think that. The details on their clothing and background are fantastic!
