attempting to study with cfs!chris - which leads to something else very quickly. wc: 897. warnings: fluff, making out, mention of getting hard.

"chris come on. you need to study, seriously. you're gonna fail your sat."

chris whines subtly from the spot next to you, laid out next to all the books and the one macbook infront of you both. "cubbyyyy.. i'll be fine. can we just take a break? we've been studying for hours."

"i've been studying for hours. all you've done is run through my pantry of snacks, kiss my thighs, and fall asleep what, twice now? you really need to focus." she says, almost desperately.

he plants another subtle kiss to her lower thigh. "yeah, but you like it." he huffs softly, realizing she's not gonna give up anytime soon. "fine. ill study. only cause my favorite girl wants me to, so so badly." he sits up, now in a criss-cross, rubbing her thigh in admiration of her dedication for his studying.

"finally. here, maybe to keep your mind focused and on-track, ill give you a kiss everytime you get 5 questions right, yeah?"

"5?!" "5." "maybe 1?' "3. lowest ill go." "fine."

after this agreement, desperately in need of kisses from his favorite, he quickly got on track. he finished 3 questions and smiled at her and rubbed her cheek.

"mm-mm. i have to make sure they are right, first." she says as she smiles softly, pulling his hand away from her face and looking down at the paper.

he huffs softly, rather taking this short period of time to examine her. he notices the small things about her when she's checking over his work, like when she bites the bottom end of her pen, the way she rubs the paper flat every once in a while to make sure she can see everything, and how she doesn't take her eyes off the paper, not even once, so she doesn't lose track.

"they're all right?" she nods. "you sure?" "you doubtin' me, sturniolo?" "no, no, of course not. just making sure." she smiles and kisses his soft, rosy lips carefully.

as she's about to lean back, he quickly diminishes his shy-personality and grabs the back of her neck and pulls her closer. despite her efforts, she quickly reciprocates the much-needed kiss.

truthfully, she's been needing this just as much as he does. they haven't had any time to themselves in a while, and seeing how quickly it takes for their desire to appear, they both take advantage of the 3 right answers.

she pulls away quickly, earning a whine from chris. "hold on, im setting the stuff on the floor so we don't mess anything up." he nods and leans back, watching her as she sets everything down onto her hardwood floor. as she leans back up, he grabs her wrist and pulls her on top of him, bringing her closer to his reach, allowing him to kiss her beautiful, glossy pink lips.

she quickly straddles him, not breaking the kiss. as she's doing so, he takes the small opportunity as she opens her mouth slightly to quickly enter his tongue into her mouth.

this reciprocated attraction quickly passes 10 minutes, including small breath breaks.

by accident, she rolls her hips across his, creating more comfort for her, but the opposite for him.

"hmph- cub, stop." he says through muffled kisses.

"what? my legs are getting tired." she says as she pulls away carefully, leaving a string of saliva connecting the two still together.

"you can't be rubbing your hips against me like that when we're making out, kid." he lets out a breathless laugh as he licks his wet lips, breaking the saliva string.

"wait wh- oh." as she realizes, she quickly covers her mouth letting out muffled laughs.

"im- so sorry." she says she leans back, sitting in an upright position.

"it-it's fine. but, you're currently making it a lot worse. either get off or move up a bit."

"shit- yeah, yeah of course." as she finishes her sentence she quickly moves her hips up so she's straddling his upper torso. "better?"

"ye-yeah." he says as he grips her hips tightly, almost tight enough to leave marks. "come back, cub. miss you." he says softly, almost embarrassed of his clingy words.

"yeah? miss me?" she says as she laughs and leans back down, her chest directly on his as she connects with his puffy, cherry red lips.

"mm-mhm." he nods softly, running his hands up and down her back and thighs.

after a bit longer, she gives him a deep kiss, and pulls away. "we seriously need to study. no more kissing, seriously." she climbs off his lap, leaning down to the floor, grabbing their materials once again.

as she pulls away and climbs off, he lets out a small huff and looks up, redirecting his gaze to the white ceiling.

"chris." "hm?" "go to the bathroom." "why?" she lets out a small cough as he looks up, directing his sight to hers, as he notices her gaze go to this lower torso.

"fuck- i'm so-sorry." he says as he quickly stands up off the bed, and his rosy cheeks turn a shade of deep red.

"its fine, c. just go to the bathroom."

he nods and almost- painfully, runs to the bathroom.

she watches as he runs out, and lets out a small laugh, realizing their "strictly friend" relationship is never going to be the same after their first kiss, 2 months ago.

Can you please just tell us what is wrong with ai and why, I can't find anything from actual industry artists ect online through Google just tech bro type articles. All the tech articles are saying it's a good thing, and every pro I follow refuses to explain how or why it's bad. How am I supposed to know something if nobody will teach me and I can't find it myself

I'll start by saying that the reason pro artists are refusing to answer questions about this is because they are tired. Like, I dont know if anyone actually understands just how exhausting it is to have to justify over and over again why the tech companies that are stealing your work and actively seeking to destroy your craft are 'bad, actually'.

I originally wrote a very longform reply to this ask, but in classic tumblr style the whole thing got eaten, so. I do not have the spoons to rewrite all that shit. What do you like about Aira? As much as people are absolutely adamant Akira is projecting (I really don't think he is (I'm not saying Akira is innocent) I just think he's trying to address the prejudiced thoughts the average Japanese person will have on the Ainu) Aira's weird comments and behaviour to Hiiro have been there since day one. And I also think Aira being the one who says all this is because he's supposed to reflect the fans and the average Japanese fan probably isn't that educated on the Ainu + there can be a good few racist enstars fans...

I'm not trying to sound heated about this I'm just coming from a genuine place, what appeal is there in Aira?

Also, as much as the Aira fans are talking about blaming Akira, I feel like there should absolutely be a focus on Hiiro right now considering that comment was... yknow said to him. I just think we should actually be talking about the Amagis considering that comment was intended to discuss the Amagis and their culture and the discrimination they go through.

i had someone ask me a similar question once but not in the context of all thats happening currently so you can read that here if youre inclined

buuuut what made me like aira so much in the first place was honestly that his concept as a character is really funny. i made a post a long while back that went into the funny meta jokes that you could make using aira as a character before i really knew much about enstars at all. having a character in your idol series that loves idols and canonically reads fanfic about them is just a funny concept in general. and as i continued to read more he continued to be funny and annoying and endearing (his little mini interaction with midori comes to mind immediately. there is something wrong with him)

also i tend to gravitate towards characters that give me like. little sibling energy. i love having a favorite little guy to dote on

but afterwards what really drew me to him was the main story!! thermometry specifically comes to mind (ouuugh,,,,). his feature scout stories are also great and so is feather touch! i wont like. go into detail really cause my blog is covered in me talking about aira already

his dynamic with hiiro is one of my favorites too, especially in mainstory. their dynamic isnt JUST aira says shitty things to hiiro and thats it. their relationship develops really far to the point where aira admits that he needs hiiro as much as hiiro needs him. they're young and inexperienced and kind of codependent as they're trying to keep themselves from going under in a sort of cutthroat industry. i think thats really neat. their relationship is really sweet to me and aira is a great tsundere type of character. he regularly is shown to actually like hiiro a lot as mean as he can be to him sometimes i.e. here. and you know the whole holding hands thing (which they also fucked up in the climax story but Whatever)

theres also this. which i think about regularly. the hiiai shipping fuel is vast

and additionally i think aira has some really great relationships with other characters too, alkaloid especially. feather touch develops his relationship with tatsumi a lot and its one of my favorite aira moments. i couldnt find my screenshots for this one but basically aira gives tatsumi his unlocked phone (something VERY important to aira since hes a little screenager) and it shows tatsumi just how much aira trusts him and he realizes how important aira is as a friend to him. being someone with a history like him aira's friendship is sort of new to him and it helps them both grow

he loves his friends so so much and he’s had a positive impact on all of alkaloid. he is its heart after all

but in any case i'm not going to like, defend myself for liking aira. i am aware that the shitty stuff has been there from the start but i've said something similar in the past that was like. aira isn't real and he cannot take accountability for what he says. he's a character written by real people who doesn't have any control over how he acts. so i guess that's why when i think the writers write something i dont think he would do or say in my own personal aira opinion i can sort of brush it off as just bad writing.

and not in the sense that i dont recognize that enstars sucks, because it does. enstars can be terribly racist sometimes and not just when concerning aira, and thats important to talk about (i.e. the orient cards, the king of thieves cards, etc). but at the end of the day the most important thing to recognize is the people and company behind the game as well as the real people who play the game and are affected by it. and not like, the specific characters in the game. cause they didn't actually do anything or feel anything you know

it wasn't like... foul play or anything. in my mind it was some sort of electrical failure or bizarre accident. like a lightning strike! actually wait i like that lightning strike idea bc then it could be Raining for this very dramatic scene and i do love me some rain juxtaposing fire <3

and Howdy would've been fine! he got all of his employees and customers out of the building, including himself. he handed them off to Barnaby & Wally, who had been swinging by for dinner with fantastic timing (the fire department was just then arriving). then, like an idiot, Howdy went right back inside the Very On Fire building!

bc, ok, he lives in his store. specifically, above it. the ground floor is the store, then there's a staircase going up to an apartment. and naturally, Howdy was not gonna abandon all of his / the store's legal documents (also his coupon stash) to burn.

so in his mind he was like "yeah ill just pop in, grab these very important files, and then get out. easy!". babe, you're giving Barnaby & Wally a heart attack. that's what you're doing. dumbass (affectionate)

but yeah he's in there, in the burning building, smoke everywhere. meanwhile outside firefighters (and Wally) have to physically hold Barnaby back from going in after Howdy, even though a few more firefighters already went in to find him. its all very dramatic! blah blah blah the front door becomes unusable, blah blah blah the apartment windows explode due to thermal stress & also bc i want them to, etc etc

long story short the firefighters get Howdy out through the back, and mostly unscathed at that! ofc smoke inhalation is a thing, he's got some minor cuts and burns, but it's really not that bad! lucky bastard! he gets taken to the hospital to get treated & make sure he's fine, and he is.

naturally he stays with Barnaby & Wally for a while. he doesn't have a say in the matter lol he was planning on getting a motel room or somethin, but Barnaby picked him up from the hospital, took him home, and went "alright the guest room is ready for you we can go shopping tomorrow for anything you need, you live here now". good thing Howdy rescued his coupons!

the fire damage to the building is, thankfully, mostly cosmetic. it takes a while to clean & fix it, but Howdy has great friends and a wonderful community to help out! everyone chips in, some fundraisers happen, Wally sells some Darling™️ Exclusives™️, etc. long story short they get the store back up & running, and with some new bells and whistles to go with it!

Person: oh you're disabled? Were you in a car accident or something?

Me: ah, no, I have a genetic condition that makes my skeleton fall apart

Person: oh geez okay. Do you have to use any mobility aids? Like can you walk?

Me: uhh?? Sometimes? I can walk but not reliably. I can't do anything reliably which is like the whole problem because people don't think of disabilities as being so variable.

Person: wow I don't even think I'd be able to get out of bed, not knowing wether I'd be able to walk or not that day...

Me: oh well I have this pro gamer strategy where laying in bed hurts more the longer I lay there so eventually it will get so painful that I HAVE to get up haha 🙃

What are you currently reading?

Sooooo a bit out of pocket for me but just finished Vampire Mall Cop Book 1: Damien vs the Entrails Eater by Molly Blake because my friend wrote it and she did a really awesome job (I think so anyway). It's on Amazon actually! A bit middle grade fic for my taste but it was charming and I accidentally read it in like two sittings so now I get to tell her how much I loved it (I got the Kindle book version before I found out she was selling signed print copies on campus sigh- jokingly might have her "autograph" my ebook version by commenting on it or something).

So kinda looking for next read and I think I'm going to finish siege and storm cuz that's a library ebook and then I'm going to read death note (trying to space out reads I know I'll like bc I left the final book at home and I don't need a two month long book hangover. I also going through slowly The Hobbit on audiobook so I actually get used it currently (idk how to implement them as well bc can't read and do schoolwork and if I'm taking a break may as well have physical book

OH MY GOD ELLE SORRY THIS IS SO LATE!!! IT WAS VERY COOL!!!!! VERY SURREAL!!!!!! I've taken a week to answer this but uhhhh yes I am in fact home now 🥰 I got home at like 1 am which was cool....

First of all I have to mention this! I was fighting for my life walking thru the Austin airport(from sleep deprivation), and I had my Fernando hat on my backpack, right? Some girl comes up to me and asks if I'm going to the GP, I say yes. SHE GAVE ME A FRIENDSHIP BRACELET, I COULD'VE SOBBED 🥹 It says on it "wtf is a km", I'm still so happy

COTA was the first race I ever watched, so to be actually at that track and watch a race live there was extremely surreal! Very hot though my god 😵‍💫 I think last year it was pretty hot, right? And my brother kept sending me the temp and it was pretty okay, and then of fucking course the temp leaps up to 89-97°(31-36° Celsius btw) right in time for the gp....so that was nice(I say as I burn in the sun like a vampire. But don't worry I didn't even really tan at all 😭 I always wore a hat and a lot of sunscreen. And meanwhile my brother was literally a lobster)

So unfortunately I missed the drivers parade because my brother and I were dying on Saturday night and his friends wanted to go first thing in the morning, and we're like "we will go later actually 😊" and missed it entirely 😭😭😭 but his friends took pics of Mclaren and Aston for me!!!!! But unfortunately I havent gotten them still, so I'll have to reblog this later with those! I took a lot of pictures of the cars I took from behind the fence, which I think I've posted some of? Lmk if anyone wants those!! They're very random, I just thought it was very surreal to see the cars flying past, so I took a million.

The coolest part was definitely running on track after the race was over!!! Soooooo surreal, and so I'm only gonna post pics rn from Sunday(bcs pic limit on phone) and also I think everything else kinda pales in comparison(but of course lmk if there's anything you're interested in seeing 🤭)

Okay and did I see any drivers...? ONLY ONE BUT AAAAHHHH I DID SEE LANDO!!! Not even one of my favs but it was soooooo surreal to see him, even from afar. As you can see above, everyone standing on the fences was blocking the view 🙄, but during the podium, I was focusing my camera btwn their legs and got literally one second of Lando 😭 I think its a pretty aesthetic clip, so I gifed it!!

It was so funny, I went to the gp with my brother and friends, so all these older guys yeah. And I was showing this off to them on the ride home, and his one friend was praising me so much for it 😭😭 like: "oh my god!!!! You could put this in an edit !!! This is so sick!!!!"

Oh one other thing!!! I think I've mentioned it before but my god, my favorite f1 podiums are always the ones with confetti, right?? AND THERE WAS CONFETTI AT THIS RACE!!!

LOOK AT HOW PRETTYYYYY!!!! And so anyways, I picked up so much confetti off the ground and now it lives forever in my phone case 🥰🥰🥰 I have no other room for pics on this post(for now) but oh my godddddddddd most of the confetti were just rectangles BUT THERE WAS ALSO ONES SHAPED LIKE TEXAS!!! SO COOL!!!!! And I also picked up a bunch of tire marbles off the ground!!! And a piece of plastic that probably came off some car. It was so funny when all of us were just scrounging off the ground. My bro's one friend somehow found a piece of carbon fiber, and we're all like "how can I kill him in his sleep and steal this from him..." But no the highlight actually of that process was watching my brother sprint to the podium, but stopping and grabbing a bunch of gravel first to shove in his pocket 😭😭😭

The other two days were fun as well, but also a lot of just dying in the heat and drinking a fuckton of red bull, so there's not too much specifically to say! I really liked hearing the cars. I think if you wanna know what's actually going on in a race, watching from home is better, but hearing the cars go by and seeing them is just so fucking sick. It was so funny to see grown men be like "I think I'm going to cry hearing these cars." I was really flexing on them with "uhhh yeah I've already been to a gp already 🙄🙄"

Anyways I ended the day by breaking bank by buying my dad and myself Fernando shirts because he is of course Fernando's biggest fan 🥰🥰 and I bought the most delicious overpriced lemonade, which I only drank half of bcs my brother proceeded to accidentally elbow it out of my hand....

OH WAIT ONE MORE DETAIL LOL. On Friday, my brother and his friend were waiting in line for smth and I was talking to them outside of the barrier. I look down, hmm theres a red cap abandoned on the ground, I pick it up, it is in fact a Ferrari hat. And that is how my brother acquired a $40+ dollar hat for free. Lucky bastard....I was the who found it!
