What time period do Lysanders audios take place in?

already answered here in the faq tag, and the same answer as lucien, anywhere before the 1700s probably but there's no set year or century for them, there's no modern technology and its the same time as lucien's audios but there is no canon year and i have no interest in setting one as of right now.

I discovered ur audios completely by accident cause I listen to asmr a lot and just will go wherever my recommended takes me and-

I'm aroace spec and most romantic asmrs squick me out but I actually found ur voice so relaxing I just let them play

Then I discovered the OC storylines and was very taken with Lucien and Lysander in particular so I watched legit every video in each playlist

aw thank you! and if non-romantic audios are more your thing, my oc cassius is aromantic (though not asexual) and his audios with his knight!listener have them in a queer-platonic-relationship. though of course you can listen to romantic asmrs and not imagine yourself in the situation and imagine a non-self-insert character or no one at all.

i mean... if you were in my patreon discord or watched my twitch streams you'd know the answer. and you'd know a lot more plans i have for ocs, audios and have seen mathias long before i ever dropped any drawings of him publicly. /nm

that's not meant to sound mean, but it's just a fact i share more information on those places. they're a good place for me to test the water with ideas, let patreon's have access to more information as part of their rewards for joining, same with twitch (i also always say what audios are coming up this week on twitch so twitch viewers know every week's audios in advance) and get instant feedback on ideas. i know i could say the answer here, but i don't want too. i want some things to only be known to a minority of my audience so they can still be somewhat of a surprise, and they're like little treats for either supporting me finically via patreon or taking time out of your day to come and watch me livestream.

Not sure if someone has asked this yet, but are there, if any, canon listener characters?

Like us as the listener play somewhat of a character in the lovebites story?? Kinda??

no. the listeners are not canon characters as then people wouldn't be able to insert themselves as them and imagine them looking like whatever they want. and they're also not replacing any canon characters. for example, in their actual canon story ambrose and arden do not have a 'little human', they have no one else in their relationship, just each other. that's why there's no listener character in the backstory audios, johann's listener is not canon to my ocs actual story or world, none of the listener characters are. that would be impossible. then they wouldn't be able to be listener-inserts. and then what's the point in the audios existing as listener inserts if you're actually a specific character with a set appearance and back story? i've either answered this before or questions very similar and it always confuses me, i don't understand why or how the listeners would be canon and i have no interest in making any listener-insert role into a canon character. and if i did it would ruin the ability for people to insert themselves into those roles if they know the character they're taking the place of looks nothing like them.

My partner loves your ocs and their birthday is coming up. Problem is we live in Eu.

no sorry, new laws went into place that makes it really hard for small businesses to sell to customers in the eu. the rules were probably made with large businesses in mind, but there's no exceptions for small and micro businesses. some are still risking selling there, but i'm too scared too. because the fine for doing so, if the rules apply to me, is like £2k per item. i can't risk that.

there's no canonical set year it takes place. it could be any time before the 1700s, but it isn't set in the modern present day like there's no electricity or internet there.
