Hey y’all

I’ve been seeing a lot of post that are like “oh it’s kinda fucked up that the Dragons imprisoned Aaravos in the sea of the castout where (insert tdp s6 spoiler)” and yeah that would be fucked up… if that’s what happened.

But it seems that we all either forgot the plot of the last two seasons or literally weren’t paying attention (looking at you season 4 haters) because at least 70% of the plot revolved around the fact that no one knew where or what Aaravos’ prison was.

The only person that knew what the elf that built and hid it. That’s it. The dragons had pieces of the puzzle, but they literally did not know. Not even Aaravos himself knew where his prison was, or he’d have manipulated his way out sooner.

The fact that the sea of the castout was where she died may have been nothing more than a coincidence or it could’ve been the “merciful one” offering some bullshit “mercy” letting his prison lie in her final resting place.

But yeah, the archdragons, Elves and humans were not being especially cruel with that, the writers were

An redraw of an old TDP art I’ve did back in 2020. The Zubeia and Zym piece was probably one of my first TDP fanarts I’ve ever made and remains being one of my favorites still.

If Claudia didn’t exist, I could easily say Zubeia is my fave. She’s my second favorite character of all.

Finished watching episode 2 of tdp season 6! It was very enjoyable and I can tell I'm getting back into being obsessed with this show...

My thoughts:

Soren and Corvus are so cute together! (I'm definitely shipping them now). I think their part of the episode was my favorite. Soren is just so silly and all their interactions are so wholesome!!

I was SO excited when Zym got to see his mom!! That was just such a wonderful moment. We finally learn she's safe, they have a reunion... It was just spectacular. I'm a bit sad that she didn't come with them, but I get why she didn't.

As for the Janai section of the episode... Poor Janai. She has so much to deal with and it's all clearly overwhelming her. It's good that she has people around to support her, and that she doesn't have to deal with it all alone, through.

One of the moments that stuck out to me was how Janao and Karim's speeches were shown at the same time. They were so similar, yet so different at the same time. I think that moment really drove home the differences between the two characters (at least for me).

Glad we got a little glimpse of Callum and Rayla at the end there! Hopefully we see more of them next episode...

Ok, so since it's looking like there MIGHT be a POSSIBILITY that Leola actually gets revived, there are 2 things I must discuss. The first one is that everyone adopts her. Both the Magefam (Claudia and Terry don't really have a choice, she's literally Aaravos's daughter, but they have no complaints) and Dragang + allies. That leads to the second thing: who falls victim to Leola’s adoraburr eyes?

Let's start with the Magefam:

Aaravos - He's her dad, so he has experience, meaning he should be immune, right? Wrong. It turns out that one's immunity fades when they go for centuries without exposure. He's strong, but he goes down.

Claudia and Terry - They love cute things, and that includes Leola. They go down easy.

Soren - grew up with Claudia, who often used them on Viren. Unfortunately, that doesn't help him.

On to the Moonfam:

Rayla - May as well have invented that look. She has perfected it and it doesn't faze her in the slightest. If anyone needs backup to help them stand firm, they bring her in.

Runaan- Stoic and strong, he managed to survive Rayla and rarely gave in. Leola is no different.

Ethari - Doesn't stand a chance. As soon as she starts the little head tilt, he's down.

The Broyals:

Neither Callum nor Ezran have any experience, therefore, they have no immunity. Callum develops some, but it takes a while. Ezran crumbles like a leaf.

Everyone else:

Corvus - Like Runaan, stoic and strong. He's not falling for it.

Opeli - Caves once in a while, but not really. It wasn't long ago that Ezran went through that phase.

Barius - I headcanon him as a dad to adult children, one of whom is a daughter with a small daughter of her own. He was once immune, but that has faded slightly.

Zubeia - Zym was at his smallest and cutest just about a year ago and all it took to get him in line was a Look. The Look can cross species.

Janaya - They're both strong, but once in a great while, the Adoraburr Eyes are stronger.

Kazi and Gren are not strong.

Aanya falls and learns that they can be quite effective. She now uses them on some of her older advisors.

Propaganda Under Cut:

Winifred Banks (Mother of Jane + Michael): Winifred tries to provide a calming voice to her husband on behalf of her children.

Zubeia (Mother of Azymondias): When Azymondias was still in his egg she would whisper his name gently to him. When he was taken from her and presumed dead she grieved deeply and fell into a deep slumber. When he was returned to her she was overjoyed. Zubeia was very protective of Azymondias as she didn't want to lose him again.

I cooked so hard on this fr

Zubeia is such a great character shes so frendly and chill until she gets angry then she does the zippity zap

It was a pain to draw all the fluff like I never realized how fluffy she is until I drew this

I think its funny how she says everything in a serious tone especially when she says stuff like "I'm glad your not all super dead" or stuff like " that was v e r y f u n n y" idk it always cracks me up for some reason

Also why is there so little merch for this show I would love to have some figurines or plushies of the dragons

I require dragon merch wonderstorm where is it

Like with the last post I will be putting up a poll to decide which dragon to draw next
