Given that Kazi is a nonbinary linguist, I bet they have some detailed thoughts on gendered language:

Kazi: Technically, I don't "use" they/them pronouns because I rarely talk about myself in the third person, so it's more accurate to say, I use I/me as my pronouns and other people use they/them pronouns for me. I used to use he/him because there is linguistic precedent for "he" as a non-gendered pronoun, but then I worried that it would be confusing, so I switched to they/them, which, by the way, has been in use as a singular pronoun for over four centuries! I briefly used "ze" but then I realized that "ze" and "she" look similar for people who rely on lipreading, because the difference between Z and S is really just a difference in voiced versus unvoiced oral sibilants, and if I'm serious about working as an interpreter, I want to make sure my pronouns are clear to the people I'm working with. So I usually just tell people to use they/them. Anyways, what are your pronouns?

I do genuinely adore the nuances of why what happens this season pushes Terry over the edge, with the way that’s he’s gone along with lots of terrible things, but he doesn’t like being tricked into going along with terrible things, particularly with the way this interacts with the deception he (along with the others) practises on Claudia in s7 ep6. “You didn’t trust me to make that choice for myself,” he tells Claudia in ep4, and in his mind, what he does with fake Lissa is not in opposition to this; he frames it to himself as an opportunity for Claudia to “see something lost inside your heart, and that you would stop yourself.” He thinks he’s giving her the chance to think about what she’s doing and why she’s doing it, and make a different choice. But it’s still deception, still manipulation; it’s still wrong, and tricking Claudia into thinking she has an opportunity she doesn’t really have isn’t really a pro agency move. Either he knows this and accepts it as the lesser of two evils to try and get her to stop, or he’s desperate enough that he’s deluding himself. Either way it’s very messy, and a fascinating complication to his character

Like what do you mean this show only has 2 POC characters and they never interact?

What do you mean the shows only LGBTQ representation is a cis gay (normally male) couple who are only properly seen in flashbacks and make their sexuality the centre of their characters?

What do you mean the only disabled character (if they even have one) is a wheelchair user who faces no struggles in life besides not being able to walk?

What do you mean the entire show is surface level amd there are no underlying themes of morality, love, duty ect??
