I love that this is Ethari's canon reaction to Rayla asking questions he doesn't want to answer. He just starts talking about their next meal even if they've just gotten up from the table.

Runaan the next morning: Ethari. Ethari. This one is framed by my shirt collar. You did this on purpose.

Ethari: yes well you'll be at work today and your friends already know what I do to you.

I love how this is the exact moment Rayla makes her decision.

She touches her bracelet and just knows.

Just as she belongs with Callum and has to come back to him‚ Runaan belongs with Ethari and her parents should stay together even if that means letting both them go.

It's such an small detail but it speaks volumes.
