(a bit of spoilers ahead)

this line from zooble instantly makes me think that they're going to try and "stay on caine's good side" in the future. not necessarily sucking up to him, but they may become less inclined to protest the adventures if they think it'll upset caine. after all, they've seen what happens when caine feels like he's failing at his one job in the circus, and it's not exactly pretty.

and in the new episode, pomni even told them about the adventure caine had designed specifically for them, so they're now also aware of just how horrifying caine's adventures can become if he wants them to, which i can see as an incentive for them to be more careful around caine in the future.

but what about how caine sees zooble?

well, by the end of ep3, we see caine being the one getting therapy from zooble. while it's treated as a comedy bit, and zooble's not doing much, they are sort of listening to him, which is more than the others seem to have done for him so far. how's caine going to interpret that, or any other act of kindness they might or might not show him later on? is he going to believe he and zooble are friends? will zooble protest, or will they play along out of fear of the circus falling apart? if that happens, how will caine react if he finds out that zooble is really just scared of him?
