Hey Brittle, with the 2024 Summer Olympic Games just only 3 months away, I got a story idea. The Y/N Olympics, Y/N Cookie's loves sports that he decides to create the Y/N Olympic Games. A multi-event sports competition where cookies of all rarities ( including Legendaries ) can compete their hearts out and win medals ( to some, Y/N's affection )🏅 in a variety of land and aquatic, single, and team sport events. The same will also go for the Winter Olympics. The medals will be handed out by Y/N Cookie themselves during the award ceremonies. They will also host both the opening and closing ceremonies.

Welcome back, CookieRunners. I’m Brittle and the Summer Olympics are nearly at our doors, so what better way to acknowledge it then to center an event around the occasion.

In this update, Y/N Cookie notices that a number of cookies around them have quite the talent in their hobbies and professions. So what better way to see who’s the best in what category then to host the first annual Cookie Olympics, where cookies far and wide, mundane to legendary will compete to see who is the best and win medals.

The turnout is big with a number of competitors entering the games, some for the glory and medals, while others have a more lowkey reason of wanting to impress Y/N with their feats of strength. Events can be arranged from solo to team matches and land or water challenges, so that everyone has a chance to prove themselves. Who will try their best and claim the gold for these games? Find out by playing the event mode.

Along with this update are the costumes that a number of cookies will receive.

There’s Y/N Cookie’s Epic costume, the Olympic Announcer. You can’t have an entertaining event without setting the mood and hype, and what better way then to be an enthusiastic announcer!

Next is Choco Bar Cookie’s Super Epic costume, the Trailblazer of the Track. Being a stunt double has already trained her dough to the limit, running the track is a cakewalk for this cookie!

And now we have Skating Queen Cookie’s Rare costume, the Ballerina of the Ice. Nobody knows how to work their skating shoes more then Skating Queen Cookie, and she aims to prove it to everyone that she IS queen.

Lastly, we have an Epic costume of Muscle Cookie’s Champion of the Ring. All of that protein and working out has paid off as Muscle Cookie becomes an unstoppable force to be reckoned with in the boxing ring!

The Rock, Paper, Scissors event is making a comeback with this update, because even the little things are considering for the games!

A heap of new Trials are also coming to a select number of older cookies who are currently lacking one that are long overdue for one.

For the mid-update, a new wave of competitors will be entering the games including the likes of Cream Soda and Cherry Cola Cookie, the games are heating up as the competition grows!

Unironic Remnants Anatomy Headcanons

Kadaj is an AVERAGE 5'6, Yazoo and Loz are 6'3. And yes they're the same height because they're twins.

^ You will see this pattern of "because they're twins" a lot for Yazoo and Loz.

They have fangs. Not insanely long fangs, but enough to make someone go "damn those are some long canines" when they see them.

Kadaj is very lean. A bit of muscle but mostly very skinny and very flexible. He's really good at pretzel-ing his way through small spaces.

Yazoo is double jointed in many places including (but not limited to) his elbows, knees, waist, and neck.

Loz is the least flexible but still pretty bendy for such a beefy guy. He's also the fastest runner out of the three of them.

Yazoo's muscles are all in his legs. He's the highest jumper. Could probably kill a man with just his thighs. A kick to the chest could break their ribcage.

If Yazoo pulled his hair back, he'd look identical to Loz in terms of facial anatomy. Because twins.

The only major difference between Yazoo and Loz's faces are their cheeks, because Yazoo's are slightly chubbier.

Kadaj has the chubbiest cheeks of the three of them, though.

Yazoo and Loz have GINORMOUS hands. They're probably the only ones who can properly shoot Velvet Nightmare because the handle is so fucking long to accommodate for their giant hands.

Kadaj's hands are small but boney. Very nimble.

None of them have navels.

Yazoo looks more masculine on some days and more feminine on others. It depends on his mood. Most of the change can be seen in her hips and shoulders.

Yazoo has a nasty case of tinnitus because he A. uses a gun and B. has the most sensitive hearing out of the three of them. Bad combo.

Loz's knuckles have scars from callouses upon callouses.

Post-AC Yazoo and Loz have fleshy, pink scars on their right and left arms respectively. Their supernatural healing repaired all the important motor and nerve functions in their arms, but their skin didn't get the same treatment.

in the summer, Kadaj gets very faint freckles on his cheeks and shoulders.

Loz has eye bags from anxiety keeping him awake.

Despite them trying their best to look human, they still have a bit of uncanny-ness about them that you can only see if you stare at them for way too long.

This list runs from the last monday of feb 2019 to to feb '24. Theres a few more done after that date in 24 that are not eligible.

#10 - 7/29/19: 'Aeiou Aeiou'

This was the first Miku we ever made that we were and remain truly proud of. We were still using SAI 1.0 back then, and I don't think we ever figured out how to do any rendering outside of adjusting opacity on the default brush. That we managed to make such a blend of colors and light with such a limitation in knowledge and tools just months after picking up a tablet, really makes this piece impressive to us even now. Even so, this barely cinches a spot almost by power of nostalgia alone.

#9 - 5/30/2022: 'One day I'll get to actually attend a concert'

Funnily enough, this one is based on a concert we did go to. Not a Hatsune Miku concert (though we still have our Miku expo 2020 ticket) but an Aurora one our youngest sister took us to. The singer came on, backlit as seen, and it kinda stuck with me. Really love this one though, the minimalist backlighting just looks great.

While there are parts of this we're a bit questionable on now, namely the face in the final panel and being inspired by an AI greentext in the first place, this Miku holds a v special place in our heart. it's easily our most popular too, notes wise!

#7 - 4/3/2023 'A Trip To The Moon by Hatsune Miku'

This was part inspired by the desire to make a fake album cover, and part by the urban legend that the first manmade object in space was a sewer cover that was launched by a nuclear test. While untrue as the lid would have disintegrated at the speed it was moving well before leaving the atmosphere, it made for some potent imagery. This is one we wish we had even more time with, but as is, just looks fantastic. Every concept we wanted is there and so so good. Should really make a song list for this album.

#6 3/6/2023 'This is how Hatslimey Migoo arrives onstage'

This was part of Migoo March of '23, and we had to fight ourselves from including another piece from from the same month. It's no secret that Hatslimey Migoo is our favorite Miku design we made (sorry Radical Miku) and the whimsy and charm she brings with her is in spades here.

#5 - 7/11/2022 'Miku but it's me my 2009 senior year'

Okay so obviously at this point they're all near and dear to my heart, but this one has something even more special to it. I was such a depressed piece of shit in highschool and it was nice to give our past selves some love. That so many also loved her was genuinely healing in a way.

#4 - 8/1/2022 'Sli-Miku? Slimeku? Hatslimey Miku? Yeah'

Listen we said Hastlimey Migoo was our favorite child, and well, we just couldn't not put her origin image on this list. I mean just look at her! She's adorable! Not to mention how well we did making her look goopy as hell.

From 2021! Still perhaps our favorite Radical Miku! Posing and shadows look great still tbh.

Perhaps the Miku with the least amount of love noteswise. From 2023, it just really captures the miserable summer days in my shitty old room. there was no AC and it was triple digits or close to it many, many days. Just looking at it is something bittersweet.

From 2022, we have this vampire miku! Sure some parts are a little off, but the colors and bg just feel so right! So very perfectly part of the mood. Back to the countdown!

#3 9/25/2023 'Patron Saint of Song'

This is the Miku we're perhaps the second most unreasonably proud of on a technical level. Working within the limitations of imitating another style just pulled something out of us ig. We're not even sure what else to say, just look at it! The smooth lines, the way the flatly colored pieces create depth with the curves, the bordering. Easily one of the best pieces we've ever made.

#2 - 2/8/21 'Miku Devours Her Progeny'

This is it. Perhaps the one you expected at No. 1? It has been our favorite for a very long time, and the one we pointed to as such for a while after all. Even after making the piece that now resides at the top slot.

There's just something so absurd about Miku as Saturn, yet something that works to it. She is, after all, the first Vocaloid, and remains the most outwardly popular. A position that naturally calls for the cannibalization of her progeny. Perhaps it's the way it captures the madness and zero sum nature of making art?

No matter how long we look at it, no matter the new flaws we spot in it's construction, it's a piece that as we gaze upon it we only love more.

#1 - 5/22/23 'Trail Cam Footage'

This is a piece that's truly difficult to speak on. Iirc, we had found ourselves short on time, so elected to try a rougher, more impressionist style. Something we could make quickly, as to not miss a Monday and get to bed at a reasonable hour. Taking further inspiration from trail cams and horror, we decided a greyscale would help further eliminate work. No pesky color picking to complicate rendering.

This as made in a single post-work sitting as a result. It has since become our favorite.

It so perfectly captures the feeling of seeing something spooky on a low res camera feed. Just enough details to let your mind fill in the blanks. The short field of view making it all the more intimate. The oppressive darkness all around. This is the only piece we've loved enough to share to other sites we don't post to. Its both our blog background, and our PC wallpaper!

We've often considered revisiting this style, but are afraid we'd never be able to live up to this. Honestly, it feels like it would be redundant. This one piece is already the peak. Not to mention, there's no way to live up to the fact that just days later, actual trail cam footage of two naked witches eating a deer emerged.

Elves and winter headcanons

Winters at Himring are long and cold. Winter temperatures generally range -8 degrees Celsius/18 degrees Fahrenheit to -25 Celsius/-15 Fahrenheit (including windchill)

Temperatures drop to the extent that access to water can become a concern. Wells that are fed from groundwater can freeze and the rivers and lakes become even more dangerous to venture upon. Water is sometimes sourced from snow which is boiled to distill it. (More on water here at Himring here)

Heated stones, primarily obsidian and certain types of sandstone are heated and wrapped in cloth as a treatment for lasting pain. The relief is fairly short lived but especially for the duration of the treatment can be incredibly soothing. Maedhros himself has benefited from this as have the many residents of Himring with lasting effects of injuries from battle, or, in some cases, torture. Changes in weather can exacerbate chronic pain and other conditions including mobility, mood, and other functions.

The soldiers of Himring often sleep in extremely close quarters during the winter for warmth, especially when firewood is scarce. Scouts and spies limit their fires when away from the citadel to limit the possibility of being seen.

Much food is preserved for cold winters and for the soldiers and scouts who rotate out and need food that can last. Methods of food preservation are learned from the dwarves who aided in the construction of Himring as well as through trial and error (These are still Noldor and take pride in experimenting and exploring). Himring utilizes more of these methods than many other elven realms. Salted meat, stocks and broths that can be quickly heated over a fire, root vegetables, dried fruit from the summer, usually orchard fruit like apples that can grow in colder climates.

Warm clothing and materials come from wool imported from Thargelion, and from reindeer, ermine and rabbit native to the March. Feathers from snow and tundra geese are also used for insulation.

There is a ghost story told by the scouts of Himring of elves who simply walk away into the winter wilderness and are never seen again. These elves were said to appear in a trance like state or to appear as though something has caught their attention. These stories are often implicitly associated with former thralls, who are often thought of or depicted as ghosts, transient, or otherwise eerie. There is very little light on the winter solstice and the days that surround it. The atmosphere of Himring is wary and alert, almost frantic at times

Not really in the mood for writing a prompt so I’m just gonna ramble about how cool Weiss is in TSF AU

I basically made her the closest thing to a witch I could without stepping into magic territory. It always bugged me how her semblance and Dust was so compatible but it was never tested to its limits, so I imagine Weiss learned to basically be a pro in the field of dust manipulation. Has a real intuitive sense for it, which is why her kids are so good for their age. A lot of it stems from always getting unarmed in battle.

She learns that she can grab a dust cartridge and put a glyph at the end of it to pull it out and construct things like a saber of pure Dust. Eventually she gets creative enough to throw vials and catch them with glyphs to trigger timed explosions.

In crystal form, Weiss gets the hang of making glyphs and simply pushing the crystal into it to create a flame thrower affect. The most reckless and dangerous trick is using the refined powder state. Even with gloves on, the margin for error when throwing or outlining a pattern with it is small cause a chain reaction could lead the effect back to her hands.

Dust for water isn’t actually a thing, but through countless trail and error, Weiss knows how combine fire and ice Dust to create the desire effects. She even helped researcher and companies create vials with ratios already mixed so other huntsman and individuals could have access to the element.

Is the one who helped teach her brother how to use their semblance. Also started the idea along with Ruby to plan “hunting trips” where Weiss or any of her relatives would go off to kill a powerful a Grimm to add to their summon abilities.

Weiss has in fact killed a dragon. Took her an entire month and she did it for free. She learned create magma during this time and gained a fondness for more practical uses of rock Dust. Eventually she learned to make constructs out of most materials. Even lightning.

Is the manger and agent for both of her children when it comes to their professional lives. Most collaborative works don’t make it past her before she even thinks about bringing them up to her kids.

Regularly considered Penny’s science partner in the study of Dust and its utility. One of them is also pitching ideas to the other and showing rough blueprint ideas. Their most popular hit and meaningful success is modern dust weaving into clothes. Suddenly, winters in Mantle weren’t as harsh and Weiss’s daughter could live an easier life with her condition.

Helped fund Oscar’s therapy practice. Was also his first patient. Some might conflict of interest. Those people don’t know Oscar “I’m not gonna sugarcoat it” Pine. Was a super big help in her darker moments after adjusting to parenthood and old family trauma.

Occasionally surprises her friends and family with appearing in a modeling catalog or runway. It helped her gain some confidence back after having twins. She also likes to make a point that Jaune’s wife is incredibly hot so there’s no point in random women thinking he’s going anywhere, and to make any guy that looked down on him feel shame. Jaune matches the energy by also looking gorgeous when the opportunity arises.

Weiss also makes no effort to hide any scars. That includes wearing a half shirt or bikini that shows where Cinder stabs her or the two scars on her face. That way her daughter and even her brother, feel more comfortable about their scars.

If you ask her what her biggest sacrifice is, it’s making sure she never matches hairstyle or clothes with her daughter. Weiss kinda misses the ponytail but Summer will look at her a little funny despite them not being the same kind. Eventually Summer will stop caring and rationalize they look alike regardless of anything they do. They’re both just two pretty ladies other people get jealous of. She doesn’t have this attitude with Winter!!!

The top of everyone’s emergency contact list. Also the only adult aside from Ruby that every child (except her own daughter) feels immensely comfortable with emotionally. Even Yang’s kid is pretty soft around Weiss. Practically karma for how much Weiss’s son adored Yang when he was little.

how to get out of a funk✧.*

hey guys! so its been a longgg time since I posted because im just getting out of a little funk and decided to make a post on some things I did to get out of it! I know especially the summer time can be really difficult for people (me included) so I wanted to take the time out to share things that helped me. Hope it can help some of you all too!

get moving/workout

whether its a little walk or a whole routine at the gym keeping it moving gives you an energy boost as well as naturally bringing up your happy hormones. it could even be as simple as doing a quick stretch!

take a shower

sounds simple right? as simple as it is it sounds it really does make a difference on your overall mood. and if u want to take it a step further make it an everything shower!

read a book

when was the last time you read a book? and be honest! instead of being on my phone all the time which really drains our energy more than we think, pick up a book! the act of reading alone will make you feel better about yourself because its counted in a way as being productive. take it a step further and read a motivational book!

shutting your phone off

this one can be superrrr hard. even for me personally i have trouble with this. but ultimately when i do take breaks and put it down i feel sooo much better about myself. like i mentioned before being on our phones so much can really put us into a bad state mentally. Can’t stop altogether? Try just limiting down the time u spend on it, till you don’t feel the need to be on it all the time anymore. It may be hard but this one act alone will improve how you feel soooo much and out of all of these this one I highly recommend.

open a window

this is one of the simplest things you can do to make yourself feel better. opening a window to let in light AND fresh air is so much more good for your body then you think it is. For me the fresh air always brings me back to life. If you want to take it a step further go outside and take a walk!

Farmer Spa - [Mack x David]

The request: Very pregnant Mack and David are on the farm and her bump hinders her ability to do some things. Like trim/shave down there, I imagine she'd usually get waxed every now and then but limited options out there. She's frustrated and feels she needs a lil clean up so asks David to help. At first he makes a few jokes and makes it very known that she doesn't need to clean up down there, especially not for him, encouraging her to embrace the growth and that he is starting to feel what she must when they kiss ☠️. Mack's not quite in the mood for jokes though and lectures him about how her grooming is a self care thing and goddammit she needs his help. He does so and gets a reward afterwards 😉

Mackenzie Hischier lays flat on her back in the middle of the bed, spread eagle, naked with her feet resting against the headboard of her and David’s bed. She attempts to gather up the energy for her second shower of the day. Being pregnant in the unrelenting July, Iowa heat has proved to be too much for any type of deodorant she can find at Hy-Vee. She has this distinct unease of smelling awful anytime someone gets near her, including her husband. David insists he doesn’t smell anything, but that isn’t encouraging coming from someone who deals with farm animals and sweaty hockey players all day. He’s likely nose blind to everything after breathing in manure his whole life.

Dragging her big toe across the indents of the plush, cream headboard, Mack huffs out a sigh. Her whole body has a sense of wet, including the forest between her legs that she cannot reach no matter what awkward angles she bends her body in. This tangle of a situation is what makes her feel so unkept these days. She is used to regularly scheduled bikini waxes. Yes, that requires a certain length of hair, but nothing like what she is currently rocking. When she thinks of giving birth in such disarray, she is embarrassed and uncomfortable. “I’ve been trying to take a shower for an hour.”

“All I smell is your shampoo, baby.” He assures her. He is used to this by now. Mack sighs. “Oh boy.” David murmurs sympathetically. He leans down to smooch her lips. Mack barely puckers hers in response. “Hey, love on me.” He quietly asks. 

“I’m not feeling like any of this right now.” She swirls her hand around the room. She moves to get up. David steps back from the bed, releasing her breasts so they fall back into melting mounds. She keeps her back to him, crossing her arms over her chest. 

“Honey, what can I do?”

“Nothing.”

“Nah, you have been feeling like this for days. What can I do? I need some way I can support you.”

Silence stretches between them. Mack stares down at her hot pink toes, the ones her husband painted for her last weekend while they were having a lazy day on the front porch, during a stretch of cooler weather. He does things for her. Maybe he would…

“Um…” She trails off. “Like.. my um.” David raises an eyebrow at her stammering.

“God, David, yes.” She grumbles. He cannot help but laugh at her.

“You’ve got no problem shoving my face deeper into your pussy, but you’re worried about me shaving it?”

“I! Don’t!.. Um. Well that is different.” She huffs.

“Why?” He sits next to her, dragging his finger tips across her bump. They continue down her back, sliding onto her hip to pull her into his body. 

“It’s like too intimate.”

“We made a baby together and are married and fuck each other often, so I think it’s okay we have some intimacy.” Mack just stares at him. “What? Unless this is some test and I’m supposed to say you don’t need to shave? Because you know I do not care at all about what you’re sporting down here, baby. I’m gonna eat it. Maybe she shouldn’t be, but pregnancy has made her confidence slip a bit and she’s much more self-conscious than she can every remember being. “Just think of if like your equivalent of a mustache.” He throws in as a joke. 

“You don’t get it.” Mack snips at him, pushing out of his arms. She scoots across to the other side of the bed, achingly rising to her feet. David watches silently as she heads into their adjoining bathroom. It isn’t long before he joins her.

“We aren’t up for jokes?”

“No.” 

“Okay, my bad. I didn’t read the room right.”

“It’s not you, it’s me.” She sighs, putting her hair up in a claw clip so she can keep it out of the water spray. David is patient, keeping his hands to himself as she speaks, impressive considering how much her breasts bounce as she moves about. He does bite the corner of his bottom lip for a moment, looking concentrated as his eyes meet hers in the mirror. “I don’t feel like myself at all right now.” She shakes her head, feeling her throat swell with a lump. Stupid hormones! She does not want to cry! “And, I just hate how it looks down there. Like it’s bad enough you see it, but soon so many strangers will too! That makes me want to like.. give birth here and never come back. How am I gonna face the nurses and doctors at the grocery store, knowing what they have seen?”

“Baby, they have seen worse.” He laughs. “I guarantee it. You are hygienic and clean.” She stares at him. “But if this is what you want my help with. I will help you.” Her eyes slide away, bottom lip stuck between her two rows of teeth while deciding. 

“How would we do it?” 

“A lot like making this baby.” He jokes, shaking her belly slightly. Mack start to laugh and David joins in. “Go lay back on the bed. I’ll take care of the rest.” He leans down to kiss her, then pats her naked butt to encourage her back to bed.

It’s a few minutes before he comes into the bedroom. He has a towel, unscented shaving cream, a razor and an electric trimmer. He glides the towel under Mack’s hips, then kisses her raised knees before heading out of the bedroom towards the kitchen. He comes back with a bowl of warm water and Mack’s cold eye mask. 

“Welcome to the Farmer Spa. Please rate us 5 stars on Yelp when your visit is finished. 10% off for you next time.” He drawls in a quiet and serene voice. Mack snorts, laughing so hard her belly tenses and the baby begins to flail around inside of her. She puts a steadying hand on her bump, then watches as David disappears between her legs. 

“Do you provide a happy ending here?” She murmurs. David starts to laugh so hard he wheezes. He buries his nose into her calf for a second, then gently works it over his shoulder so he can get in closer to the apex of her thighs. 

First up in the trimmer. He carefully combs through, taking down the forest as much as he can to see what he is doing with the razor. He pulls back enough to look at his work, then nods, reaching for something else Mack can’t see.

“Cold.” He warns her after squirting some shaving cream on his fingers. He carefully and meticulously covers the most intimate parts of her.

Mack works her head to the side so she can watch him in the mirror above their dresser. It’s quite the look, David with his head buried between her thighs. She’s seen it before from this angle, but this is so different. She smiles at her reflection, knowing exactly how lucky she is to have this man as her husband and soon-to-be daddy to their son. David turns to the water, shaking off the hair and shaving cream into it. His eyes lift. He meets her gaze and smiles softly. 

“Thank you.” She says to their reflection.

“Nothing I wouldn’t do for ya, honey.”

In a few short weeks, he will show Mack how sincerely and eternally he means those words.

1. Thanxx

As I mentioned in one of the earlier posts Fever 1 was my first Ateez comeback after I became an Atiny. Or it was the comeback around the time I became an Atiny anyway. I have very clear memories of listening to this album a lot the summer it came out. It was during lockdown and I had to go out a couple of times a week for work and this song literally kept me going at times. I know there’s issues with Hongjoong’s hairstyle in this mv but the song itself is a banger and such a mood lifter

2. To The Beat

Same as above, really. Wonderland was the song that got me into the group but these two songs sealed the deal for me and they are still two of my all time favourites

3. Good Lil Boy

This album really does have so many of my favourite songs on it. Good Lil Boy was more of a grower for me but I love it a lot and would really love to see it performed live. It’s another one of those songs that just gets you going

4. Wonderland

Of course I have to give a shoutout to the song that started it all. Full confession when they performed this at the concert I went to for the first time I cried. Never in my life would I have imagined that when I watched this mv 5 years ago that I’d be seeing it live in the future

I know there’s debate about whether Hongjoong wrote this specifically for Seonghwa or not, but even if that’s not the case it’s clearly their song and I get emotional every time I think about it

This is up there with Answer for Ateez songs I have been obsessed with the longest. It’s so perfect and so dramatic and impactful. This was one of the first songs they performed at the concert and that was when I had my first ‘wow I’m actually here and so are they’ moment

This almost made it onto my favourite title track list. For a debut song it’s amazing and I still love it so so much

8. My Way

This is another song that makes me cry because it’s just such a positive message. I don’t have any tattoos but if I was so inclined I would get the lyrics ‘don’t be afraid, dreams are everywhere’. It doesn’t matter how old you are or what life experiences you’ve had there’s always things to look forward to and aspire towards

9. Deja Vu

I’m going to admit this is one of the rare occasions where the mv absolutely elevates the song. The song itself is fine but the mv is 🤌🏻

I don’t know why this song in particular reminds me of watching them at Coachella. Probably because Mingi. I’m absolutely obsessed with ‘Okay, let’s start the second round, FIX ON’

when kailey's in a particular mood or stressed with school, luke will come over to her apartment or she will come to his and jacks and they will have a star wars marathon.

as a fashion major, she feels entitled to update his fashion. as well as jacks, because they both need it.

she researches curly hair routines, and the both of them continuously try new things to find out the perfect routine, for him.

she teaches him russian, dubbed "little lion lessons". she teaches him the basics and simple greetings and conversation words. he surprises her though about six months in when she is having a harder time with her mental health, and gives her a whole ass talk in russian and like she thought that she knew he was the one she wanted to marry. but she REALLY knew he was the one.

luke learns enough russian to have a basic conversation with kailey and alex. alex is pretty stunned to say the least. he goes, "you mean he didn't flunk out of highschool?" in old slavic to which luke didnt understand.

uncle geno is the BIGGEST fan of the two

she tells him before she tells her dad

when pittsburgh visits new jersey, he invites her out to dinner along with luke.

in summer of 2024, she joins the cast of hadestown at the off broadway theater for a limited time run as eurydice, for the month of august. luke comes to her first week of shows before heading to michigan to get some things settled, before pulling quinn, jack and his parents for the finale on the 29th. after a two-day staycation, her and luke head back up to nyc and jersey for the year.

cape cod is their place - they get a offseason house in 2028.

luke and kailey ended up going 4 times during their first summer being together

they have a very important talk one morning over coffee and croissants and just know that that is where they are meant to visit at least once an offseason.

some angsty thoughts:

once she graduates in 2026, she has a hard time figuring out what she wants to do. her dream is to open a boutique clothing store in manhattan somewhere or on the cape or georgetown, but doesn't know short term.

ends up going to Washington for about two months, and it just so happened to be when alex was moving from Washington to new york to get back together with kaileys mom once he retires at the age of 41, a year after kailey graduates, he and her mom decide to give things a go again after some really good years the past few.

but she's in Washington while he is back in michigan, and even though luke is trying his hardest to give her the space she needs and craves, its difficult. he is moody af and at times does NOT train.

kailey calls sent a text over in july, stating she needed a break for a bit and that she would reconnect with him once the season begins.

luke has such a shit show of a summer after that + the beginning of season.

kailey spends july through September in the hamptoms with her parents, after alex helping fulfill her mom's dream. summer in the hamptons. (for longer than a week)

luke gets hella jealous because andrei visits for a week in august before heading back to carolinas. he hates how close the two are now that they are on a break.

OH and he also does not like her bestie chris, and thinks he still is in love with her but we'll get a blurb for that at some point hehe

when kailey returns to nyc with her parents she does not expect to see luke in the city.

he always used to say he hated the city when he was not with her

that the reason he loved the city with her, was because she gave it life and energy. he loved seeing it through her eyes.

she was very shocked to see him and he was stunned too. he didn't expect to see her the first time he headed into the city.

but nico being the swiss princess that he is, has to come up and greet her when she goes to dinner with her parents at Soho house

and then the rest of the group comes up, and alex is NOT happy

he doesn't care for any of them, she whispers in russian "be nice dad."

but he see's luke and relaxes a bit.

he really likes luke and began to feel like maybe they could be the real deal before their break.

but anywho

alex talks some sense into his daughter (calls her a dummy) and literally drops her off at the train station to head down to jersey to talk to him. (will get blurb at some point!)

and she does

and yknow, they get back together and what not.

and ofcourse, not without luke promising that he's gonna marry her one day. even though they had talked about it many times, and their future together- she knew it to be soon.

My favorite weather to write is often wed to whatever I think is interesting about the weather happening around me in actual life. It’s most fun to write about firefly weather when there are fireflies around—that first summer heat that breaks them open and lets them loose. All the different kinds of snow and ice and how they change the ways you go about your life outside. That particular kind of dusky weather where it’s still hot—the grounds still hot and emanating it; the grass is still sweating—but there’s cold pockets in the shadows and blowing in from places where the sun’s already gone down. The fact that this does not happen in humid places, but the way something similar does after a summer storm and the temperature finally breaks. I like including whatever fun thing is happening outside, which can be a problem when you are writing someone with, say, ice powers, because then I think, oh go fuck yourself, the RealFeel is 108 and it is so wet in here mold is actively growing on the DOORS. That's pretty much it??? I know I have to work on my Masterlist and organize it but for now it's very WIP. I also expect that there's a Gehenna Event coming up because we got the new boi Amy showin' up like he did. I mean that should be good since a lot of Satan stans have been missin' their man (Astra too, she's been in Niflheim and Tartaros a lot in my fic blurbs)

Am I really gonna go for Zagan's future L-card?

Yes. Unless it doesn't look like it would be worth it. I would hate it if my money were wasted on a subpar story and experience. I'm callin' it but I bet they'll do that evolve thing for him (maybe) unless they only do those for revivals?

I just want to say I'm very appreciative for all the interactions, follows, my moots, oomfs, and enjoying me enjoying this rollarcoaster of a damn horni demon game. We're nearly close to the anniversary of it's release and there's been a lot that's happened so far. I pretty much shit on fandoms a bunch because I haven't really uh...had a good experience majority of the time, but it's been alright here. I may be speaking too soon because there's always something ain't it? Lol But at any rate, ya'll are lovely, creative, and I'm glad to be included.

Are some members pen pals (because lets face it, most peers can’t relate to the stressors of juggling homework and keeping the world safe)?
