Beleth looked up at Jophiel who was standing on his side -- Heaven's side -- of the line. His cigarette, bummed from Beleth, was pinched between the knuckles of his fore and middle finger as he took another drag of it.

Beleth, who had been absentmindedly holding his own between his teeth, scoffed. "Why would ya go and think that?"

"You've been staring at your phone."

He smirked as he returned to looking at the screen, tapping a pink button with white words that Jophiel couldn't see. "That's 'cause my girl loves to know when I'm thinkin' of her."

"Talking about her constantly isn't enough?"

Jophiel didn't particularly mind. His comment was only meant to be some light ribbing between old friends.

"She can't exactly hear me talk about her, now can she?" Beleth held out his phone in Jophiel's direction, crossing it over the line that he himself could not. "Since yer thinkin' of her how 'bout you let her know?"

Jophiel took a closer look at the screen now that it was within view. As he had seen before, it was a series of buttons. Now, though, he could see that there were three large buttons stacked on top of each other to the left -- all labeled ambiguously with text that read 'discreet, 'screamer', and 'missing her' -- to the right was a slider bar that went from one at the bottom to ten at the top, and at the bottom were a simple on and off button.

Jophiel looked at the phone without a clue what any of those were supposed to mean. Knowing Beleth, it was something ridiculous. That didn't stop him from tapping one of the buttons at random though.

Beleth gave one long whistle as he pulled back his phone. "That one, huh? She's gonna enjoy that."

"What degenerate thing did you make me do?"

"Ya think I would trick ya like that?"

On cue, Beleth's phone began to ring and vibrate.

He smirked as he answered it and put it against his ear. "Hey, babe. Didja miss me?" Pause. "Nah. That was Jophiel. Thought you'd like it. How's it?" Pause. "One sec, he can't hear ya." He clicked something then held it out. "Say that again, babe."

There was another pause from the other end of the line before a voice meekly spoke up. "My panties are soaked. When are you coming back?"

Beleth grinned at Jophiel, never breaking eye contact as he spoke on the phone. "That's the reason we got ya the toy."

"Beleth..."

He pressed one of the buttons and she squealed on the other end.

"Which setting was that?" Beleth asked.

"The p-pulsing one..."

Jophiel chose to ignore whatever play Beleth had dragged him into. He focused on his cigarette instead.

"Bet it doesn't hit like my fingers."

She whined.

"Ya can manage 'til I get back, can't ya? Keep them thighs together so ya can feel everything."

His thumb slid over the slider and she cried so loudly on the other end that the audio peaked.

"Wait! That's too much. You can hear everything."

"Shit. Can ya? Hold your phone there so I can hear it too."

Jophiel finally intruded on their conversation again. "Turn off your speaker phone first. Let your girlfriend have some shame."

Beleth laughed heartily but did as asked. Once again, he brought the phone to his ear and listened carefully. Even off speaker phone, Jophiel couldn't hear her faintly on the other end.

"I'll rip those panties off with my teeth later, so just hold on 'til then. 'Kay? Ya can be a good girl and do that for me, right?" Pause. "Thought so. Give me thirty minutes, aight?"

He hung up.

Jophiel held out his hand, silently demanding another cigarette from Beleth. "Tax for dragging me into that."

Beleth lit another one and handed it over without a fight. Jophiel spit out his old one, carefully took the new one, and placed it between his lips.

"She came when I told her ya pushed the button. That's why her panties were soaked." Beleth inhaled then gracefully blew out some smoke of his own. He tapped off the spent ashes while looking at his phone. Again, he held it out to Jophiel. "She's down for a threesome, ya know?"

Jophiel stared at the screen again, noting that the slider bar currently sat at five and the setting was at 'screamer'. He slid the slider up to seven and tapped on 'missing her'.

Jophiel exhaled a ring of smoke. "Bring her next time then."

Look, I would risk Asmo’s life to have his children, but I lowkey think his selfie look was so cool. I like when you summarize the events and chapters. So I wanted to ask what you thought about the latest event? The second part felt like something that should’ve been included in the chapters then in a short event.

So for this latest event, I was consistently on my toes during each sub chapter/day. I wanted to know MORE about Purson because once again here is a devil who is directly tied to one of the 72 and has interacted with Solomon while making a contract with him.

Part two however, I was getting this eerie feeling that it was foreshadowing something that clearly should have been in the main story or some special event on it's own. I have the current questions:

-What pissed off God so much that every first born was punished including his own angels?

-How old is everyone really?

-I want to know more about the process of devil making and who Lilith is, because I'd like more clarification on how everyone was born and who gets parents and who doesn't (like Sitri who is assumed to be an orphan vs. Amon who's parents were killed during one of the attacks on Abyssos when Beel first found him)

Now....here's a controversy thing...

w h y did they have Purson even bring up that he wanted to fuck MC as a father-in law? 💀 Last time I checked pretty sure Paimon would even fight his father about that growing up in Gehenna and adopting the culture and second??? I have to admit I’m not a big fan of black haired Satan. I just love his normal hair colour so much and now he looks way too similar to Asmodeus.

And the reason for his black hair (because he was turned human) makes no sense.

I mean MC canonically has purple hair, an unnatural human hair colour. So, humans can have unnatural hair colours in the WHB universe. Even disregarding that, humans can naturally have white hair for a variety of reasons without counting age. So, there was no need for Satan to change his hair colour.

But the main problem is that he kept his red eyes and upside down cross pupils, both of which are unnatural (especially the pupils). So, if he can’t have white hair as a human because it’s ‘unnatural’, then why are his eyes still the same?

Overall, it just seems not well thought out.
