feeblemind should be an attack roll spell instead of a saving throw specifically so I can concoct little scenarios where it misses and hits someone else instead

#it's fun to imagine what your blorbos might be like when hit with feeblemin #but no one's ever gonna waste the 8th level slot targeting someone who isn't a spellcaster #we have a sorcerer and a bard and a cleric why would anyone try feebleminding elyss when that doesn't even stop her from shooting you?#missed 😌#to be fair melliwyk is one of the more exciting possible victims of being feebleminded for angst reasons #but SO much of elyss's interpersonal behavior is a tireless conscious effort to figure out what other people do and expect and emulate that #elyss with 0 int and 0 charisma is VERY physically affectionate suddenly #elyss running on pure base instinct has a lifetime of touch starvation and profound love for her friends and no social inhibitions anymore #IT'S JUST-- this spell has such intriguing implications on a roleplay level but it's designed to fuck primary spellcasters specifically #so everyone else misses out lol #I was thinking about felix and like his whole thing IS that he's clever and analytical #but at the end of the day you don't take any combat mechanics away from him by feebleminding him #so why would you #alas!#about me #my OCs #melliwyk #elyss #felix

Sorry if you've gone over this before but I was curious as to what you'd think it would take for Leo to finally break in front of his brothers?

We’ve actually seen Leo break his persona multiple times throughout the series! And pretty much each and every time has a common theme present: his family being in danger.

#non au ask #probably the biggest break he has is immediately after Raph protects him from the Krang and forces him to leave Raph behind #not once in the series has Leo shown a greater horror than the moment he’s out of the pod knowing Raph was left behind #and he makes that break KNOWN #he shovels it down again soon enough but yeah #also noteworthy is his reaction to losing Gram Gram #and(less of a sad break but a still a break of his lackadaisical persona) when he IMMEDIATELY gets serious when Raph’s missing in the sewer #actually I think of Leo being serious about Raph missing in the sewers a lot #luckily (or not lol) for his mask these breaks happen mostly when everyone else is ALSO freaking out #so more focus is put on to the entire situation than simply Leo’s reaction to it #but yeah Leo loves his family SO MUCH so of course they’re consistently his breaking point #tbh tho all of them share that breaking point #cannot BELIEVE I didn’t mention it but his ‘I’m nothing without them’ speech ALSO HAPPENS WHEN HE THINKS HIS BROS ARE IN DANGER #it’s all fun and games until plot armor loses its durability!

you should go to sleep.

3 reasons:

everyone is a little on edge already, so it seems safe to assume that everyone in the white house will have been directed not to touch the flag until an official announcement goes out. Basically, there's no way the flag is already at half mast, unless someone is feeling really cheeky.

anyone who tells you the flag is at half mast but who doesn't personally live in DC is going off twitter. it's 1am in DC and the only way to know for sure is the livestream, which is pitch black, because it's 1am. Lots of people have been confusing the White House with the Capitol, myself included, and spreading that the WH flag is at half mast already.

my take on the agnes/gertrude/elias situationship is that gertrude seems like the most normal one to outsiders (she's less prone to arson/creepy mind reading at inopportune moments), but she is still the archivist and therefore kind of eldritch. everyone in the institute has just sort of accepted that yes, the archivist does sleep with her eyes open/is muttering incantations, and it's the least weird thing she's done this week

ok the funny thing is, technically, if by "most normal" we're going off of who is the most human, Gertrude is the normal one. but I don't believe for a second that that's how she's perceived among the rest of the archive staff lmao. like...all her assistants wind up dead, she actively works to make sure her filing system is the least effective one possible, she takes random mysterious vacations and comes back looking like she's just gone ten rounds with a tornado...I absolutely think that Gertrude has the reputation of being the eccentric on staff. My partner finally finished BG3 but has no idea that his ending was actually bad cause he was a pro-Vlaakith githyanki who rode off with Lae'zel but got NO EPILOGUE where Withers points out y'all died im 😭😭😭

they have no idea what happened with Gale or anyone else (who was still alive) after flying away 🙃🙃🙃
