Thinking about the whole "Jon is very similar to how Jonah was when he was younger." idea. That shit makes me go crazy. Here is the most selfish person ever who will leave anyone to die if it means he stays alive. And here is someone who is on a dangerous path to becoming exactly this, and the biggest difference between them is whether or not they're fine with sacrificing people. Like Jon is willing to hurt people to help himself. He will be horribly ashamed but he will do it and enjoy it. Jon will hurt so many people and it will make him feel safe and powerful and like he's finally not the helpless little kid watching someone die. But Jon will not ever let one of his assistants get hurt, no matter how horrible they are to him. Being in a position where there are countless people he cannot save is literally the worst nightmare the apocalypse could give him. He would steal someone's autonomy and humanity to save them, because they made him feel better once years ago. Thinks about how this is what Jonah tries to get him to stop doing specifically. Using an example of his own decision to leave someone behind in the lonely? Which. Idk, something about the idea of Jonah seeing himself in Jon makes that idea very interesting to me. It also makes "Do you want me to go in after him." "No, YOU want you to go in after him." Very interesting. I don't have coherent thoughts right now but like. Do you get where I'm going with this. Do you see it.

One of my favorite jonelias Things™️ is when all the yk, big avatars refer to them as "your archivist" or sometimes even "your elias." That shit makes me eat nails. I need everyone to know they have something going on and it to be something that they know they should absolutely not get involved in because there is no way it ends well. I think they should be intertwined in a way that isn't quite human. I think they need to be so weird about each other nobody who knows Elias has any doubts about what's going on. I just think it's neat!

i understand why they only speak once in season four but to circumvent that impossibility of a face to face meeting because jon would pry his secrets out of him, elias really should've sent jon statements as a means of communication in season four (i mean. he's done it before). season four jon has been abandoned by his maker after he made him (which is both beholding and elias, because elias is the only one that understands what's happening to him and the only one who will tell him to not kill himself about it). contrast it with season three where elias is at least somewhat of a guiding presence, season four jon is frustratingly out of his depth once again. even the beholding won't let him Know anything useful because after stopping the unknowing jon's interests no longer align with elias's (I am the avatar of awful knowledge and revealed secrets, so what does it not want me to know? - MAG 154). and most crucial detail of all, he's so very lonely. they should've done something with this! not that elias has ever been a repository of particularly helpful advice but he would've managed to say something that would simultaneously reassure jon (no you can't stop, this is what you're meant to do) and fuck him up enormously (this is good! this is a promising development, i'm proud of you) because is this what he's doing he's seeking absolution from elias of all people. that's how i would write it. establish a pattern with two or three statements masquerading as conversational letters, and then break jon's (and in turn, the audience's) trust with the 160 statement. so like. where's the episode of jon learning he's gotten a note from elias in prison and it begins like this

I'm normally not the one to draw lots of fanart, but after rewatching Crimson Peak with my mom I was so inspired to draw Edith. I absolutely adore that movie's costumes and this is my favorite attire that Edith wears during the film 😍

Been experimenting a lot with my art again too, feeling bored and stuck in a rut with my usual process so things might get a bit all over the place as I try out new stuff 🤣
