See THIS is why I trust the writers because the whole point of the deadline passing was so we could SEE Poseidon surrendering for Percy. The show has given Poseidon a more active and loving role in Percys life. The gods pride would never let them surrender to one another. But Poseidon knew his brother wouldn’t spare his son’s life. And he knew the only thing that would spare his son’s life was him surrendering. ALSO FURTHER CEMENTING THAT PERCY IS HIS FAVORITE CHILD! The writers pens this episode>>>

warnings: no content warnings, heavy rambling, sorry my writing is scuffed i haven't done it in a min and i also hit the penjamin halfway through woops

my favorite scenario of all time to imagine with mark is him realizing he doesn't see you as just a friend anymore.

i like to believe it's soon after he first got his powers. he's experiencing all these new things - like being super strong, being able to fly, to move at inhuman speeds, and to absolutely tank a hit...

along with other more overwhelming senses - like being able to hear the thump thump thumps of your heart, even in another house over.

i think for him - it's when he realizes just how fragile his best friend is. when he hugs you, you're soft and delicate and the exact opposite of his hardened body. he really was growing into his viltrumite genes and embracing you only made him realize that ten fold.

maybe it's when you comment on just how strong he's gotten - grabbing his biceps and trying your best to wrap your hands around his new gains - squeezing the flesh with a giggle. he sees how one of your hands can barely cover half of his arm and feels faint.

or maybe it's when his father turns on earth and through the guilt and fear and mourning he finds solstice in your embrace. you allow him to cry into your neck, his tears wetting your skin. he notices you smell like lavender and something nostalgic he can't quite place. his chest stirs when the scent of you clings to his nose and he realizes he never wants to forget that smell.

so when you're in his bed - his favorite comic book in your hands and you're wearing his old shirt he grew out of - he knows then he no longer sees you as his friend. but as more. so much more.

I am simultaneously deliriously in love with the ending of Loki season 2 and absolutely loathe it

On one hand…Shakespearean tragedy at its finest, essentially circling back to Loki’s original Thor 2011 character arc by reversing it, and Loki has literally ascended to godhood. In the end, Loki’s ultimate selfless sacrifice was to sit upon the highest throne in the multiverse, and that to me is tragically ironically beautiful

On the other hand…Loki being alone makes me want to burn Marvel studios to the ground and do other unspeakable things

What I love in this scene is Loki's reaction.

I thought that Loki would be impressed by Mobius' rage, or that he would be amused. Or that he would immediately start torturing Brad as soon as Mobius got out of the cell.

But no: Loki was stunned by Mobius' reaction.

So, at first, he took steps to stop Mobius before he went too far and escorted him away safely.

Then he followed Mobius to make sure he was okay, asking him over and over without using aggressive tones, despite Mobius trying to downplay it.

Loki saw that Mobius was trying to hide how shaken he was, so he suggested to eat a slice of pie to reassure him down.

Without pressure, he calmed him down until Mobius was ready to open.

And then he reassured him gently.

This shows how much Loki has changed: instead of being overwhelmed by anger and the desire for revenge, he put the well-being of Mobius, a person dear to him, first, without hiding the concern and affection he feels for him. And Mobius, in return, demonstrated that he placed full trust in Loki, expressing his innermost emotions to him.

I have so many ideas over it but my fav is currently that the Jasons are brothers because of the quick switch between seasons/robins and how they couldn’t use the same actor for older Jason so they just asked his older brother to be Red Hood Jason, Little Jason is way younger because they were trying to emphasize how small street kid Jason was
