Nurse Doreen was happy for the patient to get comfortable with the anaesthetic mask
Tumblr media
She busied herself adjusting the controls on the anaesthesia machine, checking the levels of the nitrous oxide and halothane that she would be knocking her patient out with shortly
Tumblr media
Julie brought the mask up to her race and inhaled sharply. It had a lovely rubbery smell
Tumblr media
She had decided to undergo the adult baby regression treatment. Albeit only the first level. This meant she would be given a. Procedure to induce nocturnal enuresis. Bedwetting.
Tumblr media
“Are you ready Julie” said Doreen “I will start you off gently with entonox - that’s a 50:50 mix of nitrous oxide and oxygen. Then when I am ready I will increase the strength and finish you off with the halothane
Tumblr media
“Mmmmm” mumbled Julie She didn’t really care at that moment. She greedily grabbed lungfuls of the entonox. She loved the way it made her feel. Floaty as if she was separating from her body
Tumblr media
She barely noticed that Doreen had fixed a restraint around her waist using segufix. Julia gulped down the gas. It started to feel stronger and the aroma slightly sweeter.
Tumblr media
The hissing sound as the gas was pumped from the machine into the hose became louder. Doreen was adding more and more nitrous oxide and had also released the halothane valve.
Tumblr media
The sweet sickly chemical aroma started to overwhelm Julie. She found it harder to breathe. She groaned as she realised she was about to be out under completely. She sensed the gas invading her lungs and a roaring sound in her ears. She did as instructed and breathed steadily and slowly. When she woke up she would have lost the unconscious control of her bladder. Doreen smiled at her patient. “Just a couple more breaths” she encouraged…

To unhappy, cynical, pessimistic littles, regressors, and other kids:
You do not have to be cheery or happy if you don't want to be. You are allowed to be angry, grumpy, sad, depressed, scared, or any other feeling. It doesn't make you bad at all. You are worthy even if you're not happy. Even if you are never happy.
If you are not naturally bubbly, energetic, and outgoing, you do not need to change or pretend just to be "more like a kid" or to be "more fun". You do not need to be fixed.

Hello there, do you mind if I ask what's the difference between being otherkin, having nonhuman alters and being a pet regressor?
I heard that if you involuntarily feel like an animal you are otherkin, but I also heard that pet regression can be involuntary. I sometimes feel phantom limbs, but idk if that's being otherkin, or feeling another alter. My shifts are also not that frequent. Does that make me otherkin or is it something else entirely?
I'm sorry if this comes out of nowhere, but I thought that asking an otherkin system that pet regresses would be best!
we use mutiple terms
all those ideas are correct. being a pet regessor or otherkin makes you nonhuman. same with therians i think. you're definitely not human if you id as alterhuman/althuman.
pet regression is more of a headspace and otherkin/therian/alterhuman/althuman/zoanthropy are idenity terms
clinical zoanthropy is considered a mental illness
hopes that helps if im wrong correct us - Niko

All my f/os don't mind caretaking when I need it but I think the like. Capital C caretakers among them would be: Central, Tim, Jay, the Laudomia Crew (Roman, Barker, Schafer), Jordie, and Roger.
Now who's good at it and who's not--
Good at caretaking: Central, Tim, Jay, Roman, Schafer, Ever
Not so good but God they try: Barker, Jordie, Roger, Magdalana, Parker, Strasky, Lucky, Kitchens, Caesar, Gavin
(I think it's very funny that most of them wouldn't know what to do, but they wouldn't like. Be so bad at it they hurt me. Just confused and like . Desperately googling/asking for help. Not in a mean way! They're nice to me.)

Adapting Hartigan & Wong K-Means for the Efficient Clustering of Sets1
Tumblr media
This paper proposes an algorithm, named HWK-Sets, based on K-Means, suited for clustering data which are variable-sized sets of elementary items. An example of such data occurs in the analysis of medical diagnosis, where the goal is to detect human subjects who share common diseases so as to predict future illnesses from previous medical history possibly. Clustering sets is difficult because data objects do not have numerical attributes and therefore it is not possible to use the classical Euclidean distance upon which K-Means is normally based. An adaptation of the Jaccard distance between sets is used, which exploits application-sensitive information. More in particular, the Hartigan and Wong variation of K-Means is adopted, which can favor the fast attainment of a careful solution. The HWK-Sets algorithm can flexibly use various stochastic seeding techniques. Since the difficulty of calculating a mean among the sets of a cluster, the concept of a medoid is employed as a cluster representative (centroid), which always remains a data object of the application. The paper describes the HWK-Sets clustering algorithm and outlines its current implementation in Java based on parallel streams. After that, the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed algorithm are demonstrated by applying it to 15 benchmark datasets.

What Does Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Look Like?
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, usually known as PTSD, is a mental health condition that can influence any individual who has experienced a traumatic event.
What is Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder?
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, frequently referred to as PTSD, is a psychological problem that can foster after experiencing a traumatic event. Trauma can appear in different structures, like accidents, violence, or any circumstance causing serious fear, helplessness, or horror. Individuals with PTSD may experience persistent symptoms that make it difficult to go about their daily lives.
Symptoms of PTSD:
Individuals encountering PTSD might show a scope of side effects, including anxiety, depression, and stress disorder. Traumatic memories, flashbacks, and nightmares that are related to the traumatic event are common. These symptoms can lead to avoidance behaviors, increased profound responses, and difficulty concentrating, influencing individual and professional aspects of life.
Role of Professionals in Managing PTSD:
Those who are dealing with PTSD need to go to counseling sessions with a psychologist, psychiatrist, or counselor who is qualified. Experts specializing in mental health play an important role in assisting people with exploring the difficulties presented by PTSD. A psychologist for depression and anxiety is trained to address the particular necessities of people managing these mental health issues.
Hypnotherapy and PTSD:
Hypnotherapy, a type of psychotherapy, is earning respect for its capability in treating PTSD. The goal of this strategy is to get people to relax and become more open to new ideas. A skilled hypnotherapist can assist individuals in exploring and refocusing traumatic memories thereby decreasing their emotional impact.
Counseling Psychologist and PTSD:
A counseling psychologist, specializing in trauma and mental health, can offer designated help to people with PTSD. Through psychotherapy sessions, a counseling psychologist helps people understand and manage their symptoms, cultivating flexibility and survival techniques.
Conclusion:
Understanding what PTSD looks like is essential for advancing mental health awareness. Looking for professional support from counselors, psychologists, or hypnotherapists is a significant step toward managing and overcoming the difficulties presented by PTSD. If you or somebody you know is struggling with PTSD, contact a mental health professional for guidance and support.
