General

This is pretty much confirmed he’s Asian + Latino but he’s definitely Japanese/Mexican to me. He’s so SoCal coded it’s absolutely ridiculous. I’m thinking like…he lived close to the border or is from San Francisco or LA and has a lot of family in SoCal.

As far as MBTI goes I’m saying he’s an ESFP/ENFP and as far as Zodiac goes I’m saying Gemini or Cancer.

In his formative years he had a “dank memes” phase. Like, middle/high school Daisuke was a total dork. He was a kid lucky enough to be diagnosed w adhd when he was younger so he was on meds and did EXCEPTIONAL in school. Lived off the praise of teachers. He was especially good at science and math. (Which is why his parents encouraged him to get a mechanic internship).

^adding to this he has adhd + depression (the depression is more of a byproduct of the ADHD tho) and he takes meds!! he probably takes stimmies so he’s personally really concerned about his heart health.

HE HAD AN UGLY DUCKLY PHASE. Glasses + braces king. And he was awkward asf. But he slowly grew into himself and his style. He still has insecurities though and doesn’t think he’s that attractive bc of it.

I don’t think he made it past community college or gen Ed courses though. (He has HELLA test anxiety and despite being smart he sucks hard at ACT/SAT). In college he felt really isolated and it was hard for him to get out there so. He kinda shut down.

To me he’s around 23-25 years old. Old enough to where the pressure to “do something with his life” and figure shit out is hitting hard. But also like, still at an age where you’re first figuring shit out. He’s really insecure about this. Not because he’s stupid or anything he just has NO idea what to do w his life and can’t figure it out.

He had/has a part-time gig at a local art store he absolutely adores. He’s an artist and participated in a lot of local competitions/collabs/etc. he’s made a lot of connections here and wants to be a full time artist BUT this is where his parents draw the line. He’s fought w his parents a few times about this but it ultimately boiled down to “we’re just concerned it won’t pay/etc.”

He begrudgingly accepts this bc he knows it’s bc his parents care so much about him and want him to be successful bc they think he’s a smart guy.

Loves, loves, loves traditions and holidays. He dresses up and decorates for them all. Gets way too excited about seasonal drinks and food specials too LOL.

This is kinda random but. Vaquero Daisuke. Idk what to do with this HC but I think he loves Western style and tried to do horse riding as a kid but his mom enrolled him in DRESSAGE as a kid and he was like THIS IS SO CRINGE.

still enjoys the rodeo though. If he could get back on a horse again he’d do barrel racing.

Grew up having to take his shoes off before going in the House so on the Tulpar he always leaves his shoes neatly by his door to feel some sort of normalcy 💔 (at home he usually kicks them off into a corner and it always annoys his mom)

He has a good relationship with his parents. They really, really try to understand their son and are really patient with him but they don’t want him to end up complacent (he probably has a cousin or two who are too spoiled and his parents HATE that.)

Specially close to his mom though. She spoils him bc that is her BABY and he’s such a sweetheart despite it all it’s hard for her not to (his dad is kinda similar too but is like. Trying to hold back.)

Thrifting god. (Canon from the devs btw.) It doesn’t matter that he has the money for new clothes, he has a passion for scoring unique finds. He’s also a frequent enjoyer of vintage markets and pop up shops. I also personally think he loves farmers markets.

Probably a furry (doesn’t suit up though) and definitely enjoys raves (ask him about his Kandi collection)

Also buys concert tickets for local venues in bulk (like he catches them on sale and like. For a month he’s going to a new venue every weekend for a show). He’s so proud of being into niche musicians.

Okay. This may be against the grain idk but I don’t think he falls first. He just really really wants to be your friend and then it hits him that he has a crush and is like. Oh.

I think he’s a total dork. He’s not 100% inexperienced or whatever and he’s an attractive guy!! But like. His rizz is 0. He’s not the type to like smirk and be sexy he’s just a dork and tells jokes and is a total sweetheart.

Crushing Daisuke is like. Insane. He actually is kinda okay at hiding it but he SO easily gets embarrassed while trying to showcase how cool and confident he is. Like. He won’t try insanely hard before he’s breaking down in laughter BUT. YEAH.

He finds himself trying to learn guitar to impress you or get a new piercing or tattoo bc maybe you’ll think it’s cool then he’s like “oh I’m cooked.” (Verbatim)

It’s his earnest attitude that is the hottest thing about him though. His attraction to you is so genuine. When he says he loves you, he means it. ITS SO…YEAH. There’s no doubt about it and the LOOK IN HIS EYES…MY GOOOOOD HES IN LOOOOVE. You are the best thing to him.

It’s really important to him you have a close relationship with his parents. Like, don’t worry it’s not difficult. They may be a little ehhhh at first (I don’t think Daisuke’s judgement is 100% great w romantic partners) but once they see you two interacting it CLICKS. You become a part of the family. OK, this will be kinda hard for me... But I'd really like to talk about Hal. Some time ago I found myself realising that there are a lot of similar things in me and that character.

It was terrible thought. I was scared because I don't really like this guy's personality (duh). Ironically I found out then that my mbti IS ALSO SIMILAR to his (ESFP) 🤡

On this basis I had struggled a lot with the body dysphoria because my inner voice told me every time I was looking at the mirror, that I do look like Hal.

You see, I have some extra weight, living the most time of my life with fatphobic parents. And moreover, some time ago I dyed my hair in ginger color.

And it is some kind of evil miracle that we have so many similarities in the appearance.

And, apparently, all this turned over time into such a huge lump of complexes and pain that my psyche simply could not stand it anymore.

I'm afraid to imagine what would have happened to me now, if not for the help of my psychologist, with whom I was finally able to talk honestly, without fear of being perceived as a strange overgrown child in an adult's body (actually, that's how I perceived Hal). And after some time of these sessions, I suddenly found out that... Yes, it's true. I really am like Hal, who became Titan in "Megamind". And I hated this character primarily because he reminded me of myself. He reflects all my negative traits: impudent, lazy, sometimes slow-witted, who can't see beyond his own nose. And also someone who believes that in life you will always be guided, and that there is a certain scheme according to which it can only be this way, and no other. We also went through the same thing at one time.

By the way, it was this realization that helped me look at the world from a different perspective, without the idea of ​​purpose and some kind of fate. And basically without meaning. This is, in essence, the beauty of the world: there is no meaning in anything, so a person himself gives meaning to what he loves or hates. All cultures, plots, gods, languages, cities and countries, architecture, painting, writing - all this, in essence, is absolutely random bullshit that was invented by people, the same as us, who are here now. We are all, like every creation, one big accident with consequences in the form of a butterfly effect. Beautiful or terrible - everyone decides for themselves.

But I got distracted.

Actually, yes. I really do look partly like Hal... Or, at least, I feel myself to be somewhat alike him. But I realized that this doesn't mean that I am bad. Or wrong. Or not worthy of basic respect and love from myself.

The fact that I am like someone does not mean that I am obliged to repeat their mistakes or fate (the second, as I have already mentioned, I have a hard time believing). It only means that through the prism of this or that person I give myself the opportunity to get to know myself a little better. To become a little closer to myself. To take another step towards accepting myself as I am. Not perfect. But nothing in the world is perfect. Otherwise, it would simply freeze in place, like life itself.

No one is perfect. None of us. But that's what makes us beautiful. Our flaws are what make us us. They are as beautiful as our virtues. It's just that many of us find it very difficult to accept them in ourselves.

Now I understand that Hal is not such a "bad guy" at all. He is just led and doesn't value or love himself at all. And it's... Really sad, to be honest.

In fact, he even reminds me of Soos from Gravity Falls. Another thing is that Soos is much more responsible and compassionate, that's how his personality has developed (by the way, he is one of my favorite characters. I even once took part in the creation of a fan novel, where I got to draw his model 💘).

In another version of the turn of events, Hal could have remained the same cozy and funny geek. Maybe at one point he would have decided to find his place. Or move somewhere. In any case, each option is good in its own way. Perhaps, again, under different circumstances, he could even have become a more or less good hero, but these are just guesses. Or desires. In general, it doesn't really matter.

Now I understand that it is quite possible that I could have become friends with him and spent hours discussing various computer games, cartoons and all sorts of events like festivals and starcons.

We are, first of all, not those whose stereotype we fall under. We are those who we ourselves choose to be. And there is always a choice.

This text is very personal and important to me. And I am posting it here to tell myself: here is the group. Here is my audience. Those who do not like this and my content can safely leave. By ingesting the blood of another sorcerer, or cursed spirit, her technique causes her blood to replicate the origin of the blood’s cursed technique. Her skill and ability to mimic other’s techniques depend on how much blood she’s drank, how long it’s in her system, and how compatible it is with her physique/body.

Once her domain is activated, whether or not she has ingested their blood and or flesh, it is guaranteed that she will mimic their technique whenever someone steps into her domain.

Born to a family of non-sorcerers, who couldn't comprehend the fact their daughter could see 'monsters' they were unable to.

Works alongside Mahito & Geto or Pseudo-Geto's Group.

Mimics Mahito and Choso's techniques the most often, but is particularly fond of and more practiced with Mahito's.

Carries around transfigured humans in her purse to use for fighting or to play with like 'play-doh.'

She has an opinion on how humans, curses, and half-curses 'taste.' (their blood) She believes humans taste overly sweet, despite the iron. Cursed Spirits are bitter and sour. Half-Curses are the perfect middle ground and flavor palette for her. (like Choso)

Fell in love with Choso at first sight. Crushed on him for several months, essentially chasing after him while he was oblivious to her affections. When it became impossible to not realize any longer, he'd try to deny her feelings but only for so long <3

Walks around in public with Mahito regularly looking as though she's talking to herself to non-sorcerers or seers.

Spends time with Kechizu and Esou often, with or without Choso.

She truly believes cursed spirits are the 'true humans,' and that they're capable of something stronger than human emotions - even if they don't understand them.

Prefers the company of the cursed spirits in the group, over any human or human sorcerer, like herself.

She adores Hanami and Dagon, and while she's fond of Jogo - he finds her irritating, if not slightly endearing for her unusual devotion to cursed spirits.

Despite not being much younger than him, she views Geto Suguru as a stand-in father figure because of how he treats her compared to the family she used to live with. (and by proxy, sees my other OC Nora Dahl/Doll as a stand-in mother figure.)

Even if she adores her best friend, Mahito, the two go back and forth between being affectionate and getting into fights. The two are too similar for their own good.

June 21, 1993 - Rini was born to a family of non-sorcerers 1999 - She began to see cursed spirits  December 27, 2015 - Her parents handed her to the Kamo Clan so they could 'study' her technique since it was blood-related, like theirs. January 11, 2016 - She bit a clan member out of self-defense, mimicked his technique, and injured him before fleeing - without knowing if the sorcerer succumbed from his wounds. January 15, 2016 - While on the 'run,' she ran into Suguru Geto and Mahito in an alley one evening, the two were intrigued by her panicked state and even more so when a sorcerer rounded the corner after her. They'd assist her in defeating him, before questioning her about her abilities and opinions. Seeing the benefit of having a human sorcerer with little-to-no experience in the jujutsu society, Geto would offer her a place to go and a team to join. 2016 Cont. - She'd begin to grow closer to Mahito, biting him more often and copying his technique more regularly - practicing nearly daily. February 14, 2016 - She'd meet Choso for the first time, and while they'd share no words during the brief encounter - she'd fall for him instantly. -- (will eventually write out full-length versions of her important moments both from her backstory and present in the series line & hopefully accompany them with comms !!)

If any selfshippers out there that are into personality typing systems like I am who are reading this, just know that I feel your pain whenever someone horribly mistypes your F/O on PDB.

One of my F/Os is that way on there and it straight up pisses me off: Gloria is mistyped on PDB by a TON of people as an ESFJ. Absolutely not. ESFP fits her WAY MORE imo. I seriously don’t see any ESFJ in her. How are people coming to that conclusion. Seriously. She’s an ESFP, dammit. How do they seriously not see that.

But I want to remind everyone that it is up to YOU to determine what your F/O’s type is. Not some random people on a site that isn’t even that good. It’s fine to get suggestions from them, but you should take them with a grain of salt. At the end of the day, it’s best to read about the different personality types on your own and go from there.
