MBTI Observations 2: Observe Harder

○ xxTPs often make great teachers because their high Ti lends itself useful to explaining something in logical ways, and their lower Fe (if developed enough) can be used to figure out what their student doesn't understand, and how they might need the information rephrased so that it is easier to understand.

● ExxJs are REALLY good at predicting the endings of movies or shows - probably something to do with their dominant function being an objective judging function (Fe or Te), making it easy to spot the purpose of a story, and the easiest way to convey the message through the climax & resolution.

□ INxJs often get (reasonable) flack for not having very good kinesthetic abilities, but they often have approximately one (1) sensory ability that comes super naturally because the sheer willpower of dom Ni overrides the flaws of inferior Se. A common example I see is always knowing where the car is parked, even if they don't consciously remember or know where it is. They borderline let their eyes roll into the back of their head and their dom Ni leads them to the car's exact location in a fashion that is technically unexplainable.

■ Every INFP is "just a girl" (even if they aren't. they are.)

♤ ISxPs listen to conversations around them and passively choose not to speak because they are simply not compelled to do so. ISxJs listen to conversations around them and actively choose not to speak because they've heard enough to decide it's not worth it.

Notable houses

Any planet in the 1st house directly translates into your features as well. Aside from the "image you have".

Any planet in the 3rd house shows what you talk (or sing) most about. It's also what people will talk or say most about you.

Any planet in your 5th house represents your love life & creativity as well as how people perceive it (mostly how they see you act around it)

Any planet in the 7th house tells you about your relationships & how it may be perceived.

Any planet in the 12th house can point to troubling aspects about you as well as hidden attributes that aren't as talked about or at least what people think are. It also enhances talents (especially if there is Jupiter or Neptune here) or attributes you may naturally have.

What each planet here represents

♀ Sun

The MC's significance

The Midheaven in the ascendant persona chart represents what people notice the most about you i.e your personal impact or key traits that people tend to associate you with. Planets within them will give you more content into what that could be. It's also what people look up to you about. The context depends on the sign & house.

For example;

Ariana Grande' s MC is in Virgo at °27 (Gemini) degree. She's most adored & praised for her work as a singer. (Her voice, her songs, her work)

Megan Fox has MC in Gemini (°26 Taurus). She also has Lilith in Cancer here at °5 (Leo). She is most known for her beauty & acting roles that landed her the role of the "bombshell" or sex symbol in movies. Acting requires her to take on different personas and multitask which aligns with Gemini. Taurus also governs our voices. She has made it very clear vocally in regards to how she feels about being so objectified in the industry. She is authentic & confident & many women adore that about her.

Michael Jackson has MC in Scorpio (°26 Taurus). He also has Moon (°1 Aries) & Jupiter (°1 Aries) in Sagittarius here. This man, is a jack of all trades. Jupiter in the 10th house here makes you seem like this highly influential mastermind. That is especially true for MJ as he has a very extensive influence in the music & business world. He's seen as incredibly talented, fun, funky and innovative. Since both planets are in Aries degrees he is seen as a new start/ the creator/the source of new heights. He isn't the King of Pop for no reason. People admire him for his large impact, stunning stage presence & most of all genuine nature. He was always a kid at heart with moon here.

Prince (don't think I forgot about him) has MC in Virgo (°25 Aries). He also has North Node (°22 Capricorn) & Moon (°23 Aquarius) in Libra here. Don't think MJ is the only man in shiny clothes that carried a genuine & impactful legacy in the music industry (even though all I talk about is MJ) . Prince is as iconic as they come. While MJ has stunning outfits , Prince has always had a boundary pushing streak to him. He is largely remembered for embracing androgynous fashion, often taking a more eclectic and avant-garde approach while MJ gave what you would expect from such a star. Prince had a motive beyond himself as a singer. His expressions were straight from the soul. Nothing he did was influenced by others i.e he lived and breathed for his own cause.

Taylor Swift has MC in Taurus (°23 Aquarius), with mars in retrograde (°8 Scorpio) in Gemini. The most noticeable thing about her is her genius lyricism, and resilience towards gossip and hate being spread about her. Literally shaking it off & and evolving. She's very good at marketing & changing her image according to her "Eras". Being able to go with the flow, stumble down waterfalls and come out so successful is something that not many people can achieve.

Brigitte Bardot has MC in Leo (°15 Gemini). She also has Neptune (°14 Taurus) in Virgo. She was most noticeable as a bombshell, a natural beauty queen, an advocate and a fashion icon, an actress, and always had this flirty & playful image attached to her. Neptune here, adds enchantment, illusions & in her case a sultry innocence. It's easy to get lost looking at her. It also causes people to gloss over her actual traits in favor of what assumptions or romanticism they have surrounding her.

My MC is in Aquarius (°2 Taurus). I have Neptune (°15 Gemini) & Groom (°26 Taurus) in Aquarius & Venus (°1 Aries) in pisces here in the 10th house. People may think I have love on the brain, people will notice my art & creative projects as well as my connection with my spouse. People may find themselves romanticizing my love life with my husband. Perhaps they'll think it's unbelievable to some degree. & Well.. you'll see.

Miscellaneous Observations

Jungkook has Pluto in Sagittarius (°6 Virgo) in the first house

he's seen as this sex symbol that has a lot of influence over his work. People also think that he is extremely hardworking and tough on his appearance. It doesn't help that Chiron is in the 1st house as well. He appears much more intense to the public. That could explain his aesthetics, hah!

Beyoncé has a Stellium in her 10th house.

Groom (°12 pisces), Saturn (°13 Aries), Sun (°20 Scorpio), Jupiter (°20 Scorpio), Pluto (°24 pisces) all Libra & Mercury retrograde (°0) in Scorpio.

I think you can see why everyone praises & worships Beyoncé in this industry? She is a powerful, beautiful, talented and hard working woman. A representation of the beauty & strength in women. There is a reason she is the queen & the artist of the decade. As much controversy as there is, I personally believe they only come from her hubby lol but caught up to her by association. She said it herself that her husband is everything to her. Like.. that's her man. On that note, people see how she borderline worships Jay-Z with how much praise & credit she gave him. Her husband is a large part of her public perception, which might not be the greatest thing in hindsight.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has Capricorn MC (°2 Taurus). She also has Lilith (°17 Leo), Juno (°17 Leo) , North node (°15 Gemini), Neptune (°14 Taurus), & Uranus (° 9 Sagittarius) in Capricorn in her 10th house.

People have very different opinions about her. Many pity her & empathize with her due to the abuse she endured from her mother, but at the same time many criticize her for conducting such a horrible act in retaliation. She relationships have been rather iconic lol "that d is fire" will forever be engraved in the back of my head. She's seen fun & confident and many people are happy for her accepting what has happened and maturing from that even when parts of the public are only interested in the "headline worthy" parts of her life. Some people still aren't sure whether she was telling the truth or in some way orchestrated the whole thing herself.

LMAO I have seen INTJ x INFJ a few times - I don't disike really any particular ship, but yeah I will say the two dom Ni users together puts me on edge. Like, someone keep an eye on those two, seems like there might be some dom Ni funny business happening

I guess I don’t really ship other MBTI types because I don’t have any personal experience with them or know anyone else who does.

I particularly love MBTI stuff when I can match it up with an actual person or experience. (Eg, I’m an INFJ and my partner is an ENTP. Most of what I read about INFJ x ENTP is crazy funny/accurate, at least in describing my relationship with ENTP. Particularly the theme that ENTP is the only type that can climb INFJ's walls or bounce back from a door slam. I literally "door slammed" ENTP ten years ago and seven years later he just showed up out of nowhere like “Aaayyy....btw, I love you” and we've been together ever since, lol.)

...but I DO have an INTJ friend who I’m pretty sure would be stupidly happy with an ENFP friend of mine (if INTJ ever wanted to stop brooding in solitude, which seems…unlikely) so I guess that might be the other one!

I definitely do NOT ship INFJ x INTJ (it's not a popular one but I've seen it occasionally). I fully admit this is entirely based off a horrible relationship I had with a (different) INTJ in the past. I just don't think INFJ auxiliary Fe works well with INTJ tertiary Fi. But that's another story for another day. (Not saying it's impossible. Just expressing my personal experience was a dumpster fire of epic proportions, lol.)

I periodically retake the 16personalities test, just out of curiosity to see what results I get. For the past few years I’ve recorded the percentages, and it’s interesting to see how they change.

12/26/19: Introverted – 82%, Intuitive – 58%, Feeling – 51%, Judging – 58%, Turbulent – 85%

4/?/19: Introverted – 94%, Intuitive – 66%, Feeling – 54%, Judging – 60%, Turbulent – 89%

11/6/17: Introverted – 83%, Intuitive – 78%, Feeling – 58%, Judging – 65%, Turbulent – 83%

And the first time I ever took the test I got ISFJ. I’m not really sure the when that was… I know for sure before 2014, probably closer to 2011-2012. (I think with the way result percentages are recorded now, they would be: Introverted – 77%, Sensing – 52%, Feeling – 79%, Judging – 54%)

Spam away! Important note: I don't see your rising sign listed which is an important part of your big three, so that MAY change my analysis a bit (but you know, these guesses have only been half-accurate anyway, so honestly, not a huge deal lmao)

Cancer Placements: Sun, Moon

Sun and Moon in Cancer sounds so sweet tbh ❤️😭 You'll likely be a deeply emotional and caring person as a Cancer Sun. You'll likely value empathy and close connections with others, as well as placing a high priority on the emotional nurturing of other people through relating to them. With Cancer as the mother archetype, you may have a maternal aura about you, but it's not a surefire necessity for this placement. You may also have the tendency to be closed off with your own emotions, out of a desire to protect them - part of your motivation for treating others with sensitivity is by recognizing your OWN potential for being emotionally sensitive, so you keep your feelings close to your chest. I usually associate empathy with Fi and sympathy with Fe, so I would give a point towards Fi for this placement. As a Cancer Moon, you essentially double down on all of the above points. You experience and treat your deepest emotions in a very Cancer way, valuing sensitivity, empathy, and protection. All of the deep-rooted thoughts and opinions you form, you do so with intense emotional depth, authenticity, and you take them very seriously. These are already very Fi traits to me, but I often think of Fi when I see that the Sun and the Moon are in the same sign, because it implies that your most natural identity is in alignment with your deeper, emotional self, implying a great deal of authenticity. What you see is what you get, basically. I can also give some points towards an iNtuitive attitude, just because water signs tend to be very iNtuitive, but the difference between Ni or Ne is a little harder to tell at this point. Possible types: xNFP, xNFJ

Gemini Placements: Venus, Mars

A Venus Gemini could mean that you are attracted to Gemini traits, or you attract Gemini-coded people, meaning people with a thirst for knowledge and the ability to see two sides of the same coin. I think curiosity, and seeing things in different ways is often a trait more more associated with high Ne than any of the other perceiving functions. Gemini is a very intellectual sign and approaches ideas with a healthy level of skepticism, but still an enthusiasm for engaging with new ideas. This leaves Fi or Ti for potential judging functions, and I'm more inclined to give a point to Ti because Gemini will value logic over emotion. Still, subjective judging functions are more dominant here! A Mars Gemini could mean that you choose to take action or express your motivation or aggression in a very Gemini way. Gemini loves variety, so wanting to take action in a variety of ways could mean wanting a number of different things to do at a time, because you might get bored easily if you only have one task at a time (let alone NOTHING to do, how BORING). I actually relate to this a lot, even though I don't have this placement, Aries rules my 3rd house (Aries is to mars as the 3rd house is to Gemini). You might also express your aggression through words, more than anything else, relying on wit or sarcasm to make your points. This could be a very Fe trait, since Gemini is a social sign. Possible types: xNFP, xNTP, xNFJ

Leo Placements: Mercury

Mercury, the planet of communication, in Leo, a fixed Fire sign known for their flashiness, generosity, and pride, could mean that you have the tendency to hyperbolize things when speaking. This can be a positive or a negative trait, depending on the context, ofc! You might be able to empower and lift people up with extremely positive rhetoric, or bring people down by embellishing negative details. You may also likely speak with authority (Leo IS royalty after all lmao), truly believing that your points are the most definitive ones. You could also suffer from a hurt ego if someone criticizes your opinions on things, or feel too prideful to concede opinions that are challenged by fact. I'd give points to the Fi-Te axis based on these traits. Possible types: xxFP

Taurus Placements: Jupiter

Jupiter, the planet of abundance and expansion, in Taurus, the sign of steady determination and personal finance and delicacies could mean that you value or prioritize making money and/or having nice things by creating your own plan for financial growth (even if it takes time, actually, ESPECIALLY if it takes time), and sticking to it with dedication to ensure a good, secure life for yourself. Some might say this is materialistic of you, and they might not always be wrong, BUT, being materialistic is not as bad as some other things you could be because there is nothing wrong with wanting a comfortable life that makes you happy AND brings you security. Libra Placements: Saturn

You might find that you need to put in extra work in order to maintain balance between your own needs, and others, potentially putting others' needs far ahead of your own. You may have difficulty with making decisions, because you don't want to upset other people in the process. I would have to give a point to the Fe-Ti axis, based on these types of struggles! We're missing one of your big three, since we don't have you rising sign, which is unfortunate! This also means that I can't give a super accurate estimation for extraversion vs introversion without knowing if your placements are mostly above or below the horizon line. The closest thing I can do is use the 2/3 of your big three to do the estimation - since water signs are usually more introverted, and Cancer makes up your sun and moon, I'll say you might have a preference towards introversion! So, I definitely will preface this with a disclaimer that I have a NOTORIOUSLY terrible memory for movies/shows/characters, etc., which is why I don't often type characters - if I didn't literally experience the story yesterday, I will not remember, lmao. With that being said, take my thoughts as grain of salt on this stuff!

We definitely agree that he's an introvert, so there's not MUCH to have to go over for that - he takes plenty of moments for reflection that are necessary for him to maintain his mental footing, and he really only ACTUALLY has close relationships with Ron and Hermione (rip Ginny lmao 💀)

More than anything, I think I observe a lot of high Se with Harry, which is why I think he's at least an ISxP. He reacts to situations as they arise (and quickly!), and usually only considers the relevant information that's right in front of him, which is great at solving the problem he's experiencing right now, but sometimes causes a completely new problem to surface immediately after - rinse and repeat until he either figures out all his shit, or someone else steps in lmao. He's pretty observant, which I think is a very slept on high Se trait tbh. In general, I don't think that I would consider these traits at the top of the list when it comes to strengths that ISFJs naturally have, but that's just me (if any ISFJs are reading, feel free to weigh in here!)

As for Fi vs Ti, ehh, tbh I could see an argument made for both! And unfortunately, my memory of his character starts to fail me a bit since I don't remember exactly WHY he chooses to do what he does, just HOW, which I more often attribute to high Se. Also, I didn't read the books lmao.

I know that @personality-corner has nice post breaking down a few examples of his use of Fi and Se - since you're the de facto MBTI character typologist, would you care to spare any additional words? 🙏😫

I have seen many posts about Harry being ISFP, but I think he is ISFJ!!

He is not cool at all lol (xSxP vibe)

He wants to be an auror! (Protector profession)

He is griffindor because he is brave and wants to do what's right (very ISFJ)

Not because he doesn't seem like control freak means he is not J

He seems practical and traditional like xSxJs (his clothes and other things)

Very interesting all the ISFJs I know have significant differences between each other, to the point they might look like diff types but they're not (some have leadership, some are submissive, some are very rational, some care a lot what other people think etc)

Ooh! Probably ESTJ and INFP. I love watching opposites interact with a *lil* bit of fondness, but neither of them acknowledge it until it gets really obvious.
