LADS MBTI: Is Caleb Mistyped as ENFJ? 🤔
Is it just me, or Caleb is an ESFP-A rather than ENFJ? ENFJs are like the ideal hero archetype that is why they are called as the “Diplomats/Idealists,” who wanted to reform and save the world. They are highly philosophical than ESFPs because intuitives are more philosophical than sensing types. It also applies to ESFP as a heroic archetype, but observing carefully about Caleb’s interaction with MC, he is playful, sweet, and caring before the explosion. He does well in sports and academics too. He has many admirers, maybe a street smart, and never mind being the hot popular jock in school. He only cares for MC so much and overprotective, and ESFPs career mostly relies on social hospitality services like nursing, health, cooking…
Not until he shocked us with him being in a high position in the air force. At first, I might thought he could be an ESTP since he did said that he got along with bullies and become a leader, but he cares so much of other people and would never hurt anyone, ESPECIALLY MC. That is why he was so likeable. I think if you are a pilot or working in the air force you have strong sensing cognitive function.
Maybe I am wrong but what do you think? I really do not believe he was an ENFJ, but if you do have an explanation, you may comment or reblog. This was just my discussion and this is only fictional. Thank you so much and enjoy getting Caleb’s myth. ✨🎀
Update: One of his friends called him the “jack-of-all-trades” and can do anything. Strong perceiving cognitive function (Verified Rumor).
Update 02: Caleb and MC’s professor saw that both of them are fast thinkers, especially Caleb (Longtime Moments).
Admire this picture staring right at you and wink at you. JOKE! BAHAHAHAHAHAHA 😁

MBTI Sorbet and Gelato based on my manga
Tumblr media
I want to raise this topic🤔
If you don't know what MBTI is, feel free to search the Internet, but in short, it is a type of behavior in society and with yourself, by which you can classify characters (I personally don't believe this can characterize real people, but characters can)
Sorbet:
Restrained, more thinks, structures information, good at manipulation, doesn't look into the future, but accepts changes normally
Gelato:
Thinks quickly and speaks directly about it, impulsive in actions, easily adapts and accepts change, creative
If you think otherwise, feel free to write about it! It's okay if you're sure that Gelato, for example, is ESTP😏
And of course I prepared arts on this topic!
Tumblr media
And separate arts, for those who might need them
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A place where you can read manga in full Tapas
A place where I plan to share facts, what inspired me to create, music and other things Telegram

Why Taylor Swift Is Actually An ESFP
Tumblr media
Okay, okay, lower the torches and daggers, and hear me out. I am well aware that Taylor Swift has notoriously been typed as an ESFJ personality type. She has 2000+ votes on Personality Database (Pdb) for ESFJ and she's also been typed as an ESFJ on 16personalities.com. I once believed this to be true, but as we've reached the end of the TTPD era, my perspective has changed. The Tortured Poets Department album is her most vulnerable, unfiltered, raw, work yet, bringing new insight into her inner world and her worldview. As we watched her move through life, from 1989 to TTPD, patterns have been repeated, her way of life has changed, and lyrical narratives have changed.
Taylor Swift: A Brand
I think the qualities we associate with her being an ESFJ personality type, is a part of her persona, branded for Swift (the artist), rather than her true nature and preferences for engaging with the world. In fact, I think the criticisms she’s faced throughout her career, are often, a direct result of when she behaves in ways that are, in contrast, with her own brand. Anyone who has been following Taylor Swift’s career, knows that her image has been carefully crafted. What is the brand you may ask? From her Self Titled era to the Red era, she was perceived as the small town, relatable, girl next door, who yearns for recognition, significance, and a forever love. Most storybook and television characters that fall into the girl next door trope, are SJ/FJ types. Now ask yourself, what is her brand now? Two things that have stuck with her branding is being relatable and being on a quest for true love. Despite writing about this, she lives a life that is in conflict with this. In the TCU (Taylor Swift Cinematic Universe), we've come to learn that Taylor Swift is often, her own barrier to finding a life partner, as she finds herself in relationships that have no grounds in longevity. This is very consistent with the way Explorer types move through life.
The 4 Temperaments
Catalysts (Diplomats): These are the NF types whose core needs are self realization, integrity, and meaning.
Stabilizers (Sentinels): These are the SJ types whose core needs are stability, duty, and belonging.
Theorists (Analysts): These are the NT types whose core needs are knowledge, mastery, and discipline.
Improvisers (Explorers): These are the SP types whose core needs are freedom and impact.
Taylor Swift has always expressed a deep desire for freedom and impact in her life. She writes about her fears of losing her relevance as an artist. She writes about constantly feeling trapped in relationships, long term media narratives, and reoccurring challenges due to her own actions. She also writes about her frustrations with having to constantly accommodate for purposes of appeasing public opinion or having to measure up to the expectations of always bouncing back. In one of her biggest hit songs addressing the haters, she states that “she makes up the moves as she goes” and “that’s what they don’t know”. An anthem of “shaking it off.” She also discusses in a recent Times interview that her time away from retreating from the spotlight after the Rep era was one of her biggest regrets because time was wasted on enjoying life and exploring things. It goes against her nature to isolate and stabilize, as she feels the most free and herself in the spotlight, dazzling and being bejeweled. This could be said why she and former partner Alwyn did not work out. He is described to be more of a stabilizing influence which was attractive to her at the time but not a match for her long term.
Taylor Swift's Dominant Function
ESFJs lead with Fe.
Extroverted Feeling - all about appealing to the group and prioritizing group harmony. At its best, it is supportive and uniting. At its worst, it’s intrusive and inauthentic.
ESFPs lead with Se.
Extroverted Sensing - all about the here and now experiences, whether it be socializing or sensationalizing. At its best, it is entertaining and uplifting. At its worst, overindulgent and hyperactive.
False Perception of Extroverted Feeling
Taylor has been believed to be a dominant Fe user because of her amazing ability to emote in her songwriting, providing the listener an opportunity for emotional processing and parasocial human connection. How does she do this if she is not a Fe user? She uses her dominant Se. Taylor demonstrates a true zest for life. She is excitable and joyful about all things, even if she has experienced it before. In her personal life, she is often strutting the streets in high fashion outfits, exploring the city with her famous friends, hosting large social gatherings at her various homes, and attending lavish parties. In her work life, she is always plotting, planning, and scheming. She is a doer, working hard to pursue her career goals at the young age of 9. She sings and dances like no one is watching at award shows. She isn't one to stick with routine or tradition (Si), moving on from one thing to the next (creative reinvention). She tends to have passionate, short-term relationships over long-term ones. In songs about her 6 year relationship, she narrated how she struggled with feeling satisfied with a calm and quiet life, as she loves the lifestyle that comes with being famous. Taylor loves the honeymoon phases of relationships. Taylor moves through life freely, without restraint, immersing herself in her experiences. She is very inspired by her experiences, which translates in her music. Her musical reinventions have also been inspired by her own life shifts (eras).
Taylor Swift's Auxiliary Function
ESFJs secondary function is Si.
Introverted Sensing- prioritizes comparing and contrasting the present with the past in order to decide and experience things. At its best, it is steadfast and careful. At its worst, it is stubborn and regressive.
ESFPs secondary function is Fi.
Introverted Feeling- prioritizes acting in line with own personal values to pursue harmony with others. At its best, it is nurturing and idealistic. At its worst, it is hypersensitive and melancholic.
False Perception of Introverted Sensing
Taylor has always been honest in her songwriting, and she uses music as a means to process her feelings. Self reflection is a direct result of when she experiences pain and hurt, driving her towards a path of enlightenment. Notice how her albums tend to follow a pattern of excitement, wonder, pain, grief, to enlightenment. Her recall of past events is often narrated when reflecting on past mistakes in an act of self-criticism. In her more recent albums, we hear her often contradict herself in her songwriting, reframing old narratives with new ones, being swept up in the lavender haze (Se).
Continued evidence of Introverted Feeling
She has described herself as a “pathological people pleaser” in her songwriting. In her 2020 documentary, Miss Americana, she discusses a past inner conflict with herself from wanting to be perceived as "good" by others. She discusses how earlier on in her career she lived for the external validation that comes with being told she is doing a good job. Taylor was also very influenced by her team at the time, who heavily moderated her, not allowing her to express her own personal beliefs and values. Taylor’s persona was clearly intended to present as a polished, conservative, good girl from the Fearless era to her Red era. She would share how she doesn’t drink or do drugs in interviews. She dressed very modestly, refrained from cursing or writing about lust. If you play close attention to those earlier years, the true nature of Taylor Swift comes out, in moments where she would be unfiltered, publicly calling out ex-boyfriends, on national television and directly naming them in her songs. Her responses to backlash and criticism has never been to submit, but to rebel. What I think is important is less about her desire for external validation but more about her responses to rejection. Per understanding of the ESFJ, being a Fe user, they would submit and align themselves with the group or cultural norm. Taylor has reinvented herself over and over again, in sound and aesthetic (Se), even at the discouragement of her team. She later became vocal about her political views and advocated for her beliefs. She also has advocated for artists rights for proper compensation during the streaming era and for reduced record label exploitations per experience with losing her masters. All very introverted feeling moves.
Taylor Swift's Tertiary Function
ESFJs use Ne.
Extroverted Intuition- prioritizes focusing on possibilities. At its best, it is open minded and inventive. At its worst, it is indecisive and impractical.
ESFPs use Te.
Extraverted Thinking-prioritizes achieving goals and consistency in external environments. At its best, it is confident and organized. At its worst, it is cold and judgmental.
Evidence of Extraverted Thinking
Taylor Swift's mastermind ability is directly related to her Te function. She is very aware of thoughts and beliefs of the collective, keenly planning and scheming ways to maintain her success and outdo her previous accomplishments.
Taylor Swift's Inferior Function
ESFJs use Ti.
Introverted Thinking- Prioritizes analytic thought and logical thinking. At its best it is, informative and reliable. At its worst, it is negative and impersonal.
ESFPs use Ni.
Introverted Intuition- Prioritizes depth in understanding. At its best, it is insightful. At its worst, it is unrealistic and overly subjective.
Evidence of Introverted Intuition
Taylor insightfulness shines through in her self-reflection from learning life lessons. However, the lessons do not stick with her as she tends to repeat the same patterns. Taylor, herself, has written about this flaw, stating that she "makes the same mistakes every time" and "has this thing where she gets older but never wiser".

Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase MBTI analysis: The Battle of the Labyrinth.
Annabeth as INTJ
Ni > Te > Fi > Se
Percy as ESFP
Se > Fi > Te > Ni
I think The Battle of the Labyrinth showed their cognitive functions really well. I am actually still doubtful about Annabeth being ENTJ or INTJ, but this book made me think of Se as her inferior function because of how much she questioned Percy for relying purely on it.
Se can work as more of an 'action' function, while Ni inclines more towards analyzing.
Strong Sensing users rely on their five senses, whether it's Si or Se doesn't matter because that description works for both of them. The main difference is that Si is about the past, whereas Se is about new experiences.
Se + Fi combo in Percy is obvious to me. He takes every action he can almost impulsively (or at least that's what it looks like to Annabeth), he trusts Rachel because he has witnessed how useful she was when he found her in The Titan's Curse. He knows she can see the monsters even better than him, so every little and big action and/or decision he takes is based pretty much on his friendship with Rachel; Introverted Feeling (Fi) took quite a bit part of his whole behavior, and the fact that he has Extroverted Sensing (Se) as dominant function just made him decisive, which for Annabeth was recklessness.
During the whole time Percy trusted Rachel "blindly", Annabeth couldn't help but analyze every single future event. Her Introverted iNtuition (Ni) was at its peak, and I can see this when they encountered a new path: Rachel said it was over there, Percy immediately started following her with no previous analysis other than the fact that Rachel helped him (therefore was his friend) and sensed everything much more clearly than him. But Annabeth was very suspicious of Rachel, not because of some jealousy, but because she perceived (N) everything around her and stated that it was a very dangerous path because of how it looked or that they went there before.
She has the ability to connect dots really fast. And in other scenarios where she explains Percy something, he can't catch the hint quickly, but to Annabeth is almost obvious because her thinking (Te - Extraverted Thinking) relies on her perception of things and what will happen in the future (Ni). But Percy has Ni as his inferior function, which I believe, in his case, means that it's not very well developed or he doesn't use it at all times like her.
Taking this last point into account, Annabeth's inferior function (if we follow the idea that she's INTJ) is Se. In The Battle of the Labyrinth she's suspicious of a lot of things and feels at ease when it's something she knows she's good at (e.g: when Hephaestus' spider was leading them and she was terrified, but felt immediately comforted when she had to do a physical thing she's good at — I read it in Spanish idk the translation and I'm too lazy to search it up but ikyk the moment, right?). Obviously, this could look like a strong Si, but because her Ni is showed from the beginning of her appearance (she knew Percy was a kid of the Big Three before he was even claimed). Inferior Se can look like a Si if the person is too ashamed of it, or if it's really bad developed, or if they rely excessively on their dominant and auxiliary functions. I think the latter is Annabeth's case.
I think this book made their strongest cognitive functions shine. Of course I'm not saying Annabeth is indecisive, she's actually a very analytical person who knows when to take risks. Whether she's ENTJ or INTJ doesn't matter a lot to me, but in this specific case I think Se was her inferior function (which applies to INTJ). I also don't mean that Percy isn't analytical, he analyzes things differently. He's not dumb at all, it's just that his way of thinking doesn't primarily rely on connecting dots like Annabeth. Percy is most likely to see the big picture whereas Annabeth looks at tiny details, and I think this is why they are a very good duo and their relationship is well developed even though they are different.
Think about it like a workplace: they are working for the same goal and are put together to achieve it (which is similar to what actually happens, they just happen to want the other to be there most times). Annabeth does take more of an analyzing role, but sometimes her analysis reaches a tight situation where they have to escape somehow, and most "crazy" solutions come from Percy — and he does use his thinking (Te) for that, but has the perception and decisiveness quite characteristic of Sensing users and the fact that he's Se dom just makes him look like a total impulsive person to Annabeth most times, yet she's able to see his reasoning but can feel doubtful of it at times because of how much she tries to predict things.
I think this could be a little confusing for people who don't know cognitive functions... I am willing to answer questions! I also would like to know other people's take on this, but please keep debate in a respectful level (don't find me typologytok).

Stardew Valley MBTI x Enneagram: Emily
Following my last post about the Stardew marriage candidates and their MBTI types, I've been learning more about Enneagram, how it pairs with MBTI, and how it changes some of the typical characteristics of each type.
The Enneagram and MBTI complement each other wonderfully, providing greater depth and understanding of how a person interacts with the world [Cognitive Functions] and their motivations why [Core Desire/Core Fear].
Here are my thoughts on Emily's MBTI and Enneagram pairing.
Emily - ESFP 2w1: “The Companion”
“ESFPs are everything you think they are, plus some more. Energetic, charismatic, and suckers for the limelight, ESFPs are intriguing. ESFP 2w1s, however, are a different breed.
ESFP 2w1s are big personalities. They are cheerful people who show up when it counts. They especially love their friends and cherish the memories they share. Because of their wing, ESFP 2w1s also have strong morals.”– Personality Hunt
Emily’s Core Desire: To be helpful
"The core desire of the ESFP 2w1 is to be helpful. They want to be indispensable in their relationship with others. Because of this need, they go to great lengths to make others happy. " - Personality Hunt
We see Emily's desire to be helpful in her desire to support her community, her family, and even injured/orphaned animals.
“Oh, good, [the egg is] still warm... Poor thing, where's it's mother? *Whisper* ...I'll be your mother, don't worry... Poor baby. I'm glad you gave this to me, Farmer. I'll take very good care of it.”
“I meant to let the parrot go free, but his wing never fully healed. He seems content, though. I give him lots of attention. He told me that he's happy here.”
Emily’s Core Fear: To be abandoned
"The core fear of the ESFP 2w1 is to be abandoned. To combat this, this personality type combines the perfectionistic tendencies of type 1 and the people-pleasing traits of type 2." - Personality Hunt
“This house was left in our care by my parents. They've been traveling the world for the last two years. We have no idea when they'll be back.”
“Farmer... You broke my heart... I just can't talk to you anymore. Please, let me try to heal...”
“I hope you'll still like me when I grow old and my hair turns to a dull, faded steel.”
"Th... That night in the tent... you whispered such sweet things to me in the dark...Now I have to face each day knowing it was all a lie.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How Enneagram 2w1 changes typical ESFP behaviour:
New Strengths
1. Fi Mimics Fe
ESFPs have Introverted Feeling [Fi] as their secondary function, meaning they primarily use it as an 'internal check' to see if they are comfortable with an idea or course of action. ESFP 2w1s are slightly different. They are much more concerned with the thoughts and feelings of others before concerning their own. There is a debate on whether their Fi is imitating Extroverted Feeling [Fe] or if they simply have a stronger grasp of it. That being said, as a high Fi user myself [Elaho - INFP], I believe that Emily's strong empathy is a result of her Extroverted Sensing [Se] and Introverted Feeling [Fi] functions working together to outwardly 'mimic' [at least, at first glance], Extroverted Feeling instead of consciously using more Fe:
A common misconception of Introverted Feeling is that it only cares about the user's core values, feelings, and emotions and no one else's. Not so. Fi is much more than simply evaluating what internal values the user holds. It is also a complex and vastly nuanced system of 'emotion mapping', allowing a high Fi user to enter another person's emotional experience and understand it, with almost near perfection, as if it were their own - they intensely feel the highs and lows of other people's inner world deep in their bodies alongside their own.
Introverted Feeling is highly individualistic and cares deeply about each specific person's inner harmony and personal happiness, as opposed to Extroverted Feeling's focus on group harmony and external happiness. Fi's focus is on creating inner harmony for each individual person which will, in turn, result in more authentic harmony and happiness for everyone.
How this information is obtained will differ between Intuitive and Sensing types [whether through Extroverted Intuition - Ne or Extroverted Sensing- Se], but the end result is the same.
We see Emily gather emotional information externally through her Se, and try to 'feel' and comprehend it internally with her Fi. She might have occasional 'bursts' of Fe awareness, but these are short-lived and are extremely rare for strong Fi users like ESFPs.
Examples:
“There's good people in this town who just can't seem to find happiness. It makes me sad. Working in the saloon, I hear first-hand about everyone's problems.”
“Did you really think so? That's exactly the effect I was shooting for! I'm so glad you liked it.”
“I feel bad for Linus. People judge him, but he's just living a different lifestyle. I wish everyone could learn to be accepting of others.”
"I think Clint's mad at me. He never looks at me anymore...I always thought we were friends."
"The energy in our bodies fluctuate just as the seasons do. Understanding your own unique rhythm is the first step to inner harmony."
2. More Generous/Helpful
"[Typical] ESFPs help as much as they feel inclined to. ESFP 2w1s take this to another level. They help even when it’s bad for them.
Help could mean taking on people’s tasks, driving them to the hospital, or helping financially. ESFP 2w1s are willing to do whatever it takes to make their loved ones happy." - Personality Hunt
Emily always seems eager to lend a helping hand, even going out of her way to support the new arrival in the Valley. On top of her generosity towards the community, she also shoulders the financial burden of caring for her parent's house and supporting her younger sister who refuses to work, loves to shop, and won't help around the house- all to keep everyone around her happy.
Examples:
“Hi Farmer! Do you raise sheep in your barn? You can turn their wool into beautiful bolts of cloth! You'll need a loom, though. You can make them yourself if you know the crafting recipe.”
"Well, did you know that you can use cloth to tailor all kinds of clothes? All you need is access to a sewing machine…And I happen to have one at home! Feel free to swing by and use it any time."
“I swept the whole house, washed the windows, dusted, and cleaned the fridge. It was a very productive day!”
“Is that a new hole I see in your shirt? I can sew that up for you, no problem.”
“I wish Haley would get a job or at least contribute to cooking and cleaning. I think she's hoping to marry someone rich.”
3. More Excitable
ESFPs are naturally very excitable but 2w1s are even more so. They are eager to experience all that life offers, from epic adventures to simple tasks and treasures. However, ESFP 2w1s can have difficulty managing their own thrills and the thrills brought by others. This can cause them problems later on.
Examples:
“Yes, I'd love to dance with you, Farmer! Now I'm excited... This is going to be a lot of fun!”
“I drank a super-food smoothie this morning and I feel aaah-mazing.”
“Oh!... Heheh... I know exactly why you gave me this stone today. Very interesting...Wow, it's beautiful! This color makes me think of all the spiritual power within the forest... Can you feel that wood energy?”
“That's funny, I had a dream that you would give me a piece of jade today! Ooh, it's jade! This is supposed to attract wealth... And who couldn't do with a few extra coins in the pocket?”
4. Stronger Ethics/Morals
Due to their Introverted Feeling [Fi], ESFPs have a strong sense of morals and ethics and having a 1 wing makes them even more aware of their beliefs and values. Having strong morals and ethics is one thing, but consistency is another; how strongly they personally uphold their beliefs will depend on the strength of their wing.
Examples:
"You catch fish? I just hope you treat the poor things humanely. Every critter deserves our respect, even the slimy ones.”
“I hope you're farming in a sustainable way. The valley's ecosystem is fragile! How do I know? I have a strong gut-feeling!”
"Eating healthy is very important to me. I want to live a long and active life."
"My horoscope for the day isn't too good… but I'm going to make the best of it, as always. Let's get to work!"
5. More Family-Oriented
"ESFPs, like most sensors, value their family. They love the holidays and keep the memories they share with others. ESFP 2w1s are like that and more. This is enhanced by type 2’s need to be the perfect companion. They become the glue in the family." - Personality Hunt
Examples:
“I'm just working at Gus' to make ends meet [for me and Haley]... but my real passion is tailoring. I made these clothes from scratch, see?”
"Is one child enough, or should we raise another? I guess we'll just see where fate leads us."
"I've always loved sewing and making crafts… So I thought it'd be nice to make you something by hand. I had a lot of fun!... Now, when you wear those clothes, you'll think of me… and you'll know I'm here waiting for you to come home safe… okay?"
"This is so fun to live together! I always thought I'd be single my whole life."
6. More Emotional
ESFPs are highly in touch with their emotions and the emotions of others, and ESFPs are even more sensitive to emotions. They can be hypersensitive to criticism from family and friends. Even if the criticism is constructive and well-delivered, it can weigh heavily on them for a long time, resulting in either sadness or anger.
Examples:
"Nothing is more sad than an injured animal...”
“B...But I thought we had a special bond... *sniff*”
“Um... Okay. Sorry you didn't like it. I guess those three years of practice were a complete waste...” “*sigh*... Why does there have to be war and hatred in the world?”
"I can't help but think of all the poor, frozen squirrels out there right now."
New Weaknesses
1. Impulsive Behaviour Directed at Helping
"ESFP 2w1s retain the impulsive and sometimes erratic behaviour of [typical ESFPs]. However, rather than being directed to finances or adventures, it’s toward helping others.
ESFP 2w1s struggle with saying no. So, they could be super busy and still accept to take on more tasks without thinking it through." - Personality Hunt
Examples:
“If I wasn't so busy I'd come help you on the farm! But Gus would be upset if I had another job...”
"I'm going to visit town today, and later on I'm going to help out at the saloon. Have a nice day."
2. Strong Morals, but Fewer Standards
ESFP 2w1s have stronger morals than typical ESFPs, but because type 1 is only their wing, upholding standards derived from her morals is more difficult.
This can be for multiple reasons, but in Emily's case, she has difficulty maintaining and enforcing the shared responsibility and mutual contribution between herself and her sister.
Examples:
“I wish Haley would get a job or at least contribute to cooking and cleaning.”
"You're being childish, Haley. I do the vast majority of work in this house, and you know it.”
“Haley is a picky eater. It's so hard to cook for her.”
“*sigh*... I'm really sorry to involve you in this, Farmer. Haley is complaining because I asked her to clean under the cushions.”
3. Self-Critical
"[Being self-critical] also stems from their wing. Type 1 has high standards. So, they become self-critical when they can’t meet these standards.
If this happens repeatedly, they might lose their self-confidence. In worst-case scenarios, ESFP 2w1s might feel depressed or hopeless.
The extent to which this applies depends on the strength of their wing." - Personality Hunt
Emily's self-criticism comes from her desire to be the perfect helper - to maintain an entire household, work to support her family, and continue to be an uplifting and inspiring presence to everyone in her community.
Because of her desire for perfection, she has difficulty venting her frustrations, accepting her limitations, and embracing unpleasant emotions without feeling shame or guilt.
Examples:
"Haley and I aren't made for such a big house. It's a hassle to keep it clean. Ah well. I really shouldn't be complaining. Your farmhouse seems nice and cozy."
"I feel uninspired today [sad face]."
"My day went well... it's good to get out of the house now and then."
"Every moment has a unique and precious beauty… do you notice? It can be easy to forget, sometimes."
4. Lack of Self-Care
ESFP 2w1s often take on more than they can handle, causing them to neglect themselves and their relationships. If taken to the extreme, their eagerness to help others can seriously impact their physical and mental well-being.
Although it's part of her spiritual beliefs, Emliy's strong interest in crystals, energies, and Yoba seems more than just about religious devotion.
Not only does she have so much on her plate with trying to make ends meet and support her community, but she has so little support from the people closest to her [her parents and sister], that she seems to depend greatly on crystals, energies, and Yoba [far more than any other spiritual people in town] to simply keep her from collapsing from exhaustion.
Examples:
“If I didn't have to work I'd suggest we go on a nice picnic!”
“If I wasn't so busy I'd help you dig around in that cave by the lake. I bet there are some powerful crystals inside there.”
"Ah, an amethyst! This will protect me on those late nights working at the Saloon."
"Oh, this is perfect… I've been feeling a little sluggish lately. Rubies are great for energizing the spirit!"
"Ooh, it's jade! This is supposed to attract wealth… And who couldn't do with a few extra coins in the pocket?"
"The warm, soothing energy of this stone helps us re-center our thoughts… It's actually just what I needed on a day like this. Thanks!"
------------------------------------------------------------------
Conclusion
Emily is one of the sweetest, kindest, most generous people in Stardew Valley. She may come across as overly dreamy, eccentric, and enthusiastic, but behind her cheerful exterior is someone who is deeply afraid of abandonment: her parents shouldered her the responsibility of caring for their house and youngest daughter to travel the world without her.
The only contact she has with her parents is the occasional letter and gift sent in the mail.
“This house was left in our care by my parents. They've been traveling the world for the last two years. We have no idea when they'll be back.”
As a result, she tries to make herself useful and indispensable to those still in her life. It isn't until her positive relationship with the farmer that she starts to heal from her parental abandonment and confidently create the loving and stable family life she's always wanted with the farmer's unconditional love.
"Good morning! I was wondering when you'd finally roll out of bed! It's okay, Farmer… you deserve a good night of rest."
"I hope we can raise our child to be kind and considerate. That's more important than getting A's in school."
Now, when you wear those clothes, you'll think of me… and you'll know I'm here waiting for you to come home safe… okay?"
Do you agree that Emily is an ESFP 2w1? If not, what type do you think she is? Let me know your thoughts in the comments :)

ISFJ hugs Eyeless Jack, and ESFP hugs Ben Drowned. MBTI meets Creepypastas I guess.

typing for @starboy505
Tumblr media
everything fit like a puzzle, cleanest typing i've done, here you go: 🥇
esfp 9w8 sx/so 972
you're sensory-oriented, with a "hunger" for stimulation and to explore the world. you prefer adventure, and don't enjoy being in a state of boredom for extensive periods of time. honestly, you outline it yourself - se dom with a 7 fix.
when we narrow it down, being social isn't really confined to either estp or esfp - both can exhibit these characteristics (and are stereotyped to). but imo, esfp suits you a lot more. maintaining consistent values is definitely a fi trait to have, even if those values are blurry and hard to define. considering how esfp's are fi auxiliary, it's not surprising that fi may not be the most valued function.
even then, combined with your enneagram, the fi is almost "numbed," or overshadowed by your enneagram 9. this explains why, even if you have strongly felt values (beautiful no matter subjective beauty, kindness, etc), it might be hard to fully introspect and articulate what they actually are.
enneagram 9 was pretty clear. you tend to be positive, conflict-avoidant, and focus on maintaining a sense of harmony within your relationships. an 8 wing fits perfectly, as you explain being easily angered when those close to you are "messed with." being protective and highly loyal is def an indicator of social 8. this makes more sense, especially with your feelings with vulnerability and perceived weaknesses.
what made your 9 even clearer was the part about struggling to recognize your own needs. the enneagram 9's flaw is they neglect themselves, and end up pursuing relationships and attachments to others. thus, just like how you explain, the enneagram 9 is avoidant to abandonment. they don't want those around them to "drift away," the epitome of an sx9.
for the rest of your tritype, i settled with with 2 and 7. it came down to your sense of positivity despite risks, and your relentless optimism towards the future. 7 even checks out with your esfp and adventurousness. overall, 9, 2, and 7 are considered the "optimist" triad. i chose 7 over 2 for the fact that 2's and 9's often have conflicting approaches to relationships, while you seemed a bit more strongly leaning towards e9.

Avatar: the Last Airbender Personality Types: Aang
Tumblr media
My friend's kids have been watching Avatar: the Last Airbender for the first time, and it's made me excited about this series all over again. The original Nickelodeon show is one of those stories that's just about as close to perfect as it gets. The Gaang all have such distinct, complex, age-appropriate, and absolutely delightful personalities, and I've been spending a lot of time thinking about them and where they sit in the Enneagram and Myers-Briggs. So, I may as well kick off the next personality type series with the kid at the center of it all!
I'll be sticking entirely with the Nickelodeon series for my analysis of all AtLA characters, and won't be looking at the comics, Legend of Korra, or either live-action adaptation.
Aang's Enneagram
Wound: Aang was just 12 years old when he had the responsibility of being the Avatar thrust upon him, and he didn't really get to be a kid in the same way after that, being left out of games with his friends and having to take on burdens for which he wasn't ready.
Wounding message: You are the Avatar first, and a person second. You are the only person who can save the world.
Core desire: To enjoy his childhood for just a bit longer, until he's ready for the responsibilities he chooses to take on.
Core fear: missing out on life's pleasures (I was going to say "not being able to fulfill his role as the Avatar", but if that were his core fear, his defense mechanism would be hard work and focus. Instead, it's like he wants to cram as much fun and adventure into every day as humanly possible!)
Defense mechanism: Aang is always ready to defuse any situation with his playfulness and sense of humor
Strengths: Aang is charismatic, friendly, optimistic, a quick learner, creative, clever, playful, easygoing, spontaneous, and empathetic
Challenges: Aang can be flighty, flaky, irresponsible, unwilling to face his inner turmoil, afraid of responsibility, indecisive, and doesn't always take important things seriously
When healthy: Aang balances responsibility with being true to himself - both in his morals and his sense of fun
When unhealthy: Aang runs away from his problems
Looking at all of this, here's what connects when I go back to the Enneagram post:
Wound: 2, 7, or 9
Wounding message: 2, 3, or 7
Core desire: 7 or 9
Core fear: 7
Defense mechanism: 7 or 9
Strengths: 7
Challenges: 7, a bit of 9
When healthy: 2, 3, 7, or 9
When unhealthy: 5, 6, or 9
Aang is an Enneagram 7.
He's probably one of the best examples of a 7 in any media. It works especially well because he's a child - Sevens walk the line between child-like and child-ish, with the former coming out more when they're healthy (childlike wonder at and appreciation of the world around them), and the latter coming out more when they're unhealthy.
Sevens live in the Head center and tend to repress fear. From Personality Path:
Fear is repressed for Type 7s by staying on the move. Their fixation with planning is a subconscious strategy to ensure they don’t feel their core emotion of fear and anxiety by staying too busy to process it. Anger can be triggered if they feel they are being limited, cut off from their options, or being controlled. This threatens the core strategy of running from anxiety. Shame or Sadness can enter the picture when their lack of follow through, lack of discipline or commitment, or self-referencing tendencies harm themselves or others. A drive to avoid anxiety through incessant activity is often at the bottom of the three core emotions for Type 7s.
Wing
The Enneagram Institute describes 7w6 as "The Entertainer," and 7w8 as "The Realist." 7w6 sounds more like Aang to me.
Here's the description of 7w6 from EnneaApp:
Calm any sense of insecurity by being both productive & fun-loving
Has a good sense of humor; quick-witted and energetic; imaginative
Focus on life as positive; wants to create joy/make the world better
Can deplete self by being overactive; can be manic when unhealthy
Gojo Satoru from JuJutsu Kaisen and Momiji Sohma from Fruits Basket are both examples of 7w6!
Subtype
My guess is that Aang is either a SP or SO 7, and it's unlikely he's an SX 7. His focus tends to be on himself, the Gaang, or his role in the world as the Avatar.
The descriptions of the subtypes, both from EnneaApp and from Enneagram Explained, don't clarify a ton, which is interesting because SP is the stereotype and SO the countertype, though I do think one is more likely.
The Self-Preservation Subtype, as described by EnneaApp:
Work ensures that options remain open; likes to plan/stockpile interesting options
Soften survival fears by forming a crew who share their positivity and enthusiasm
Comforted by having goals reflected back by those who share similar values
Highly social; people are interesting and stimulating; seek a family-feeling
Family of choice (not birth): the few who can bring their piece of a "perfect future"
Love goes out to their chosen ones; can be a shark to the rest of the outside world
Loving but selfish; relentless about seeking well-being/getting their needs met
Defends the "circle and castle;" a sense of belonging is extremely important
May feel deprived easily; can become impatient, panicky, cranky, and demanding
Can easily pick up a conversation with someone where it was left off months ago
May have an image of a party animal (although don't see themselves that way)
Risks are usually measured rather than reckless; more dutiful than other 7 subtypes
Strong need to be entertained/entertaining; get joy from seeing others happy
Moved by colors and sunsets; love nature/outdoors; may be interested in mysticism
And the Social Subtype, also described by EnneaApp:
Has a strong interest in an idealized social order; "The grass is always greener"
Accepts limitation & obligations; sacrifice seen as temporary/linked with future goals
Tension between duty to others and desire to escape; hate being dragged down
Creates a large circle who share philosophical ideas & mirror sense of inner worth
Sees strength in numbers, are also keenly aware of the limitations that others bring
Dance a delicate line between need for acknowledgement and need for individuality
Handle the "burden of responsibility" by seeking variety and craving change
Stuffs longing for change; may harbor resentment/feel a martyr putting others first
Strong wish to equalize authority; egalitarianism guarantees personal freedom
Don't readily empathize with differing ideas/needs/difficulties; can be impatient
Mental agitation/scattered energy: completing a task/settling down can be difficult
Can be irresponsible when entranced by an idea; is drawn to the abstract; curious
On the outlook for an enjoyable conversation, wants an easy out when it gets boring
Like companionship but can't stand feeling trapped, or being controlled/coerced
So, in both descriptions, there are things that sound just like Aang, and things that sound wrong, but I do think SO is a slightly better fit, and this makes sense for him as the Avatar; of course his focus would be on his role in the community.
We all use all 3 instincts, anyway, so it's likely that SP is second in his "stack".
This makes Aang an SO 7w6
Tritype
I think Aang is a very clear example of his tritype of 2-7-9, The Peacemaker. He shares this type with Yuji Itadori of JuJutsu Kaisen!
If you are a 279, you are caring, innovative, and accepting. You want to be helpful, upbeat, and peaceful. You are very kind and tend to see the best in others. You focus on easy and comfortable ways of relating. You have a sunny disposition and are very kind and optimistic. You dislike any form of conflict or strife and use your sense of humor to smooth out difficulties. Your need for okay-ness can, at times, be seen as insensitive.
Aang's MBTI:
I want to do this part a little bit differently than I've been doing it. Bear with me (and please let me know if this format works for the MBTI sections!)
Information-Gathering:
Everyone uses both iNtuition and Sensing, but one will be more natural to rely on. Everyone will also introvert one of these processes, and extrovert the other.
Someone who introverts iNtuition and extroverts Sensing will be able to cut to the core of understanding something in a state of deep, solitary focus. They will gather sensory information through their experience in the present, preferably with others.
Someone who extroverts iNtuition and introverts Sensing will tend to brainstorm aloud, connecting many possibilities at once, and will rely on comparisons to past sense-memories in order to understand the present.
I think the first paragraph describes Aang better than the second, and I think he uses Se more than Ni. This makes him an -S-P type.
Decision-Making:
Just like with the two information-gathering processes, everyone uses both Thinking and Feeling to some degree, but will use one more naturally. And gain, they will introvert one, and extrovert the other.
Someone who introverts Thinking and extroverts Feeling will use their own internal logic to come to decisions, and will base their decisions on outcomes for the people around them.
On the other hand, someone who extroverts Thinking and introverts Feeling will rely on external logic in decision-making, such as rules, laws, procedures, checklists, etc... and will base their decisions on the kind of person they want to be, or the kind of person they see themselves to be.
This one was a little tougher, because I see elements of all of these in Aang, but I think the second paragraph was slightly more accurate to him. He struggles a lot with balancing his personal values with being the Avatar, which is why I think he uses Fi more than Te, making him an -SFP type.
Knowing his four processes (Ni, Se, Fi, and Te), and that Se and Fi are his preferred processes, the next step is to figure out whether he's Se Fi Te Ni, or Fi Se Ni Te (an E or I type; ESFP or ISFP).
I personally see Se as his most likely dominant process, and Fi as his most likely inferior process. Let's see how the Myers and Briggs Foundation describes these:
Se as dominant:
Acts on concrete data in the here and now. Likes to experience the world—active, talkative, and social. Trusts the present, what is tangible and real. Keyword: Experiencing.
When exaggerated:
overindulgence, hyperactive, overly talkative
Fi as inferior:
wild fantasies and visions of impending disaster (catastrophize the future), attribute meaning where there is no meaning, come up with extravagant visions of unseen forces of cosmic proportions
I think this all sounds like Aang!
This would make Aang ESFP, The Performer! A description:
Outgoing, friendly, and accepting. Exuberant lovers of life, people, and material comforts. Enjoy working with others to make things happen. Bring common sense and a realistic approach to their work and make work fun. Flexible and spontaneous, adapt readily to new people and environments. Learn best by trying a new skill with other people.
He also shares this with both Yuji Itadori and Momiji Sohma!
Aang's Personality Summary:
Enneagram: SO 7w6 (The Enthusiast/The Entertainer)
Tritype: 2-7-9 (The Peacemaker)
MBTI: ESFP (The Performer/The Entertainer)
Aang is defined by his sense of fun, his friendliness, his kindness, his ability to improvise, his desire for a positive, low-conflict environment, and his sensitivity to his role in the world as the Avatar.
What do you think? Did I get it right or wrong? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Since the first place on my last poll tied between two... who would you choose between my OCs? 😊
They're from different stories and I love both ✨
I'm also using MBTI to describe them ✨
Edit: omg this was no help 🤣
