Power Ranger Colors and What They Mean (According to the TTRPG)
I got my hands on the core rulebook for the Power Rangers Essence20 TTRPG and I wanted to share the information in both the core rulebook and the A Jump Through Time expansion book pertaining to the Morphin Grid colour spectrums. The Morphin Grid chooses rangers based on their distinctive personality, with the spectrum selected being best suited to them.
All text in quote marks is directly pulled from both the Power Rangers Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook and the Power Rangers Roleplaying Game: A Jump Through Time sourcebook.
Red Spectrum: The Leaders
"Born leaders and warriors through and through, candidates chosen to embody the noble spirit and fighting prowess that each Red Ranger uses to stand proud and strong in the front lines of their Ranger teams. They are fearless fighters that show their teammates how to defend the Morphin Grid personally. Ready with their firsts, their blades, and an inspiring show of leadership, Red Rangers are almost always the first into a fight.
Stand Tall and Fierce! Red Rangers personify the kind of proud nobility and martial skill prowess it takes to lead a Power Ranger team. Subtlety and subterfuge are not the kinds of skills that tend to be important to a Red Ranger, as their candidates are chosen for their ability to think on their feet and solve problems directly rather than trying to find ways around them. Red Rangers are, by no means, unintelligent or ignorant. They just tend to excel at taking trouble head on.
Always Ready to Help. The strength and sanctity of the Power Ranger team is, at their core, where a Red Ranger draws its strength. Their fighting styles revolve around teaming up on enemies, dealing decisive blows after a teammate has softened them up, and either serving as the core of a team's Grid Zord Megaform, or alternatively, standing back to back on their own fighting Zord with a Megaform made up of the rest of the team!
A Long and Noble Line. Stretching as far back as to when the Morphin Grid has needed them, Red Rangers have had a place on their most successful champion teams. Across dimensions and across time, those noble warrior leaders have all had the same ideal embossed on their very core: the team comes first, and its enemies cannot be allowed to harm its members. Even if a Red Ranger has had to put themselves directly on the line in the name of their teammates, they would do so gladly for the sake of their friends."
Blue Spectrum: The Thinkers
"Those chosen to embody the energy of the Blue Ranger will be the closest member of the team to the inner workings of the Morphin Grid itself. Candidates for becoming a Blue Ranger are selected for their brains far more than their fighting skills, choosing to use the Morphin Grid's many facets to design all of the tools, technology, and special equipment the team might need. If it runs on the Power within the Grid, the Blue Ranger is likely to be the one to decipher, understand and ultimately help the team wield it against the forces of evil.
Team Technician. Blue Rangers embody the Morphin Grid's ability to design and create constructs and devices using millennia of knowledge from around the universe. They are the most likely member of the team to discover an alien item, piece of technology, or special construct that will help solve the problem or overcome and obstacle. While other teammates might spend their time working on new fighting techniques or Zord maneuvers, a Blue ranger is probably seeking knowledge about the past to better deal with the future.
Brains Over Brawn. Unlike candidates chosen for other colors of Ranger in the Spectrum, people chosen to be Blue Rangers are rarely looked at save for their most basic fighting abilities or combat instincts. Instead, they are chosen for their brilliant minds and the ingenuity they bring to the team. Blue Rangers embody the logical calculation it takes to see a victory and how to achieve it before the first punch is ever laid on a Putty. As a Power Ranger they will have to battle the forces of evil, but they personify the idea of fighting smarter, not harder.
A Stoic Role. For as long as there have been Power Ranger teams, the Blue Ranger has not only been the technician and the inventor for their teammates, but also the stalwart memory of the Morphin Grid itself. The history of all that has gone before flows through the color of the Spectrum and this is personified in not only their abilities and skills, but in the beasts and creatures from which their Zords take shape. They are animals that embody wisdom and mysticism; the triceratops, the unicorn, and sphinx are all infused with the Blue Ranger's energy."
Black Spectrum: The Charmers
"Rangers that are imbues with the Black energy of the Morphin Grid tend to be social charmers, entertainers, and the real life of the party. They are the personification of team unity, and a lot of what they do helps keep the bonds between members strong and tight. Black Rangers are equally adept at fighting back to back with their friends, showing that the team comes first and always ready to stand up for any part of it.
Dance, Song, Jokes. One collective way that Black Rangers tend to reach their teammates with their special brand of reinforcing positivity is through light-hearted behaviors not commonly found in a staunch warrior. Whether that is through telling one liner jokes, harmless limericks or rhymes, singing pleasant tunes, and maybe even just showing with a little personal dance, Black Rangers connect their team members to themselves and each other.
Good Leaders. When a Ranger more dedicated to leadership, like a Red or White Ranger, isn't available for the team, Black Rangers often step up and take the role. Their dedication to team strength and cooperation put them in a great place to make collective plans, and their teammates rarely have reason to question what motivates a Black Ranger. While they tend to be the glue between their team standing at its forefront is just as natural to them.
Stalwart Anchors. A Black Ranger's Zord, whether it hails from the depths as a Dinozord or even a humanoid Shogunzord or Battle Borg, represent being a defensible root or anchor for the team's other Zords. Animal shapes are often tough, armored, quadruped beasts known for their ability to withstand tremendous adversity. Humanoid Zords are thick-limbed and wield heavier weaponry. Vehicular Zords revolve around being a hard punch, and anvil upon which the other rangers in the team can rely."
Yellow Spectrum: The Artists
"Chosen for their understanding of the arts, both creative and martial, candidates to accept the power of the Yellow Ranger should be clever, witty, and full of originality. They are fast thinkers and just as fast on their feet, able to judge where best to apply their skills and get there quickly to do so. The Yellow energy of the Spectrum chooses those with adaptable minds and agile hands to wield its power. Yellow Rangers are not the hammer in the toolbox, they are the paintbrush. Instead of apply a direct single solution that may pass or fail in one fell swoop, a Yellow Ranger is drawn to using many smaller applications of their skills to build up to a more certain solution.
Soul of the Team. Where other Rangers of the Spectrum fill certain roles like inventor, leader or supporting healer, Yellow Rangers are like the water in which their boats sail upon. A Yellow Ranger is a friend, a confidante, and always ready to stand shoulder-to-shoulder or back-to-back with one or more of their teammates. Their team can count on them to be there, chipping away at and coming up with solutions for the same problems and obstacles the team might face.
Right Place, Right Time. Speed. Speed is part of what makes a Yellow Ranger able to be in many places at once, and capable of lending their help when it is needed most. Yet this is not the kind of speed that is measured in races and sprints. It is not mere how far they can run, it is the ability to act on the go, and put their skills to good use here, there and anywhere they are needed as they maneuver through a conflict.
Hands On Fighter. Yellow Rangers have the fastest hands and feet on a Power Ranger Team. While other Rangers might hit harder or at a distance, Yellow Rangers are empowered to strike fast and furiously up close. What another warrior might inflict with a single blow that could be turned aside or dodged, these Rangers strike from every different angle. Their foes are worn down in seconds, and they might never have realized where the tidal wave of blows ever even came from."
Pink Spectrum: The Sharpshooters
"Infused with one of the supporting energies in the Spectrum, Pink Rangers are warriors that specialize in backing up their team from the rear ranks. They are archers, snipers, and markspeople of the highest caliber. When a Pink Ranger is on the team, the rest of their allies can always fight confidently knowing that a Grid-enhanced sharpshooter is watching their back.
Can't Catch Me! Pink Rangers are solid martial artists, but first and foremost they are ranged combat experts with numerous abilities and talents that benefit the team most when they are outside of the reach of an enemy. They are nimble, agile, and often chosen for their gymnastic talents. These skills are perfect for dodging out of trouble's way to get a better vantage point to pick off Putties and Tengas that might threaten their friends!
True Heart. It takes a lot of heart and trust in their teammates to stand in the rear or on the flanks, picking off enemies a few at a time instead of wading in and fighting back to back with their friends. They fill their team with hope and good will; sometimes with words, sometimes with actions. When a Power Ranger looks over their shoulder, whether it is at the local juice bar hanging out or in the middle of a field of Eye Guy's floating minions, and sees their Pink Ranger is watching, they can trust they are in good hands.
Best Defence. Pink rangers are light on their feet and lightly armored within their shell, but their energy and their training makes up for it by simply keeping the enemy from getting their hands on them. They duck and dodge most incoming threats, relying on their teammates to lend a hand when things get thick, but always taking down important targets as they dance, flip, and dart around the battlefield."
Green Spectrum: The Survivalists
"Possessing a rare wavelength of energy within the Morphin Grid, Green Rangers are the loners and the outsiders. They join with Ranger teams when they can, but still tend to work on the outside of operations and do so in a way to maintain the sanctity of the team concept. Green Rangers are ready for anything, whether they line up as part of a team or if they stand alone against the forces of evil.
Still Part of the Spectrum. The Green Ranger was once unleashed by General Repulsa as a weapon of her own, but it took her ancient arcane powers to do so. This goes to show that the Green Ranger is not a pawn to be pushed around, but instead a powerful part of the Morphin Grid, same as any other. They just might seem to play on their own better than other members of their team. They are the rogues, the wildcards, and they are good at playing by their own rules.
Fight Hard for Victory. Green Rangers, whether they have a Power Ranger Team to fall back upon or not, have an uphill battle to prove themselves worthy of the gift that has been placed upon them. They are skilled fighters that take on threats that entire teams might try and face, normally long enough to get the rest of the team involved to achieve victory. Their fighting styles might be less conventional than other Rangers, but no one would argue that it doesn't get the job done.
Unique Connection. Being apart from the common Spectrum for as long as it had been, the Green energy wavelength has a different and truly unique way that it interacts with the Morphin Grid. It can seamlessly bond with other rangers to be a part of a team, linking its Grid Zord to one or more other members' to form specialized Megazords in some cases, and staying separately devastating when they do battle on their own. It is as if the Morphin Grid itself understands the wildcard nature of the Green Ranger and has adapted to it accordingly."
Orange Spectrum: The Creatives
"The Orange energy of the Morphin Grid's Ranger Spectrum embraces the power of imagination, inspiration, and artistry. Orange Rangers are filled with personality and creativity, along with the flexibility to improve their team. They tend to be inventors, artists, creators of ideas, and dreamers. Their flexibility lets them fill any need or position on the team, especially if the work allows them to set their creative mind to completing their task in some new and exciting way.
Creativity Rules. The Orange energy of the Grid attaches itself to creative mentalities. It then enhances their ability to think outside the box and gives them the power needed to wield it on behalf of the side of good. They find new ways to accomplish tasks or overcome obstacles, often improvising or taking unorthodox paths.
Team Player. Even though an Orange Ranger excels when working alone due to their powers of creativity, they can also boost the team in many ways. Orange Rangers see the abilities and gifts of their fellow Rangers and, through the power of their part of the Spectrum, find more ways to wield them. When a team is hoping they need a particular proficiency or tool, even if they already have one but need two, an Orange Ranger can figure out a way to make that happen.
One of a Kind. Unlike many other kinds of Ranger, who maintain a physical image like the other team members, those wielding the Orange Spectrum alter their Morphin shell to express their creativity. This sort of individuality is rare for the core elements in the Ranger Spectrum."
Purple Spectrum: The Passionate
"Purple Rangers wield the power of the Grid through their emotions, primarily fueled by memories. All the hardships they endured, the people they loved, and the camaraderie of the friends they made fuel the forge of power inside every Purple Ranger.
Passion Power. Power Rangers know and understand the benefits of giving in to passion and keeping an emotional connection to all that drives them. Rage and anger can be necessary for enemy conflict, happiness can sweep away stressful hindrances, and the love of a best friend can make anyone a wall of defence when they are in harm's way. These feelings add to a Purple Ranger's power.
Make your mark. Each Purple Ranger draws upon their feelings in different and unique ways. One might lean into their rage and fury, showing their ferocity as an aggressive feel to their Morphed form. Another could stand defiantly in the path of harm, revealing how much they care for their fellows. Exactly how their feelings shape them is different for each Ranger, a sign that the Morphin Grid's energies also listen to their heart.
Always Adapting. The nature of most sapient beings is to feel, and just as feelings can change, so can how a Purple Ranger uses them. They might find roots in their anger or a foundation in the sense of calm, but how they apply those tools can change at a moment's notice. Purple Rangers are fluid and malleable, changing how they need to come at the obstacles and enemies in their way based on the situation and their feelings at the time."
Advanced Spectrum (White): The Purehearted
"Like the wavelength of light itself that it represents, the White energy of the Morphin Grid is like the raw energy pouring into the prism to be split into the necessary parts for the team to be at its best. There doesn't always have to be a White Ranger on a Power Ranger team, but it goes without saying that the teams that can draw on the pure and just power of their energy are some of the strongest the Morphin Grid has ever known. They are like a two sided-coin. One one side you have a strong and valiant leader, but on the other you have a noble warrior capable of standing against evil on its own.
Elevated Champion. Not just any candidate can become one with the White energy. They need to hold the concept of the Morphin Grid's power close to their hearts and stand is its very champion. White Rangers are not always the leaders of their teams, but they cannot ignore their will and desire to stand at the forefront and protect their teammates. A White Ranger will fight to the bitter end for their friends.
Valiant Leader. White Rangers frequently fall into the role of leading their Ranger teams, and their skills and abilities only augment this. They fight bravely, they defend fearlessly, and they orchestrate their follow Ranger to work together as a better team. The White energy in the Spectrum comes with a strong need to stand against the enemies of good, and those who wield it are often the legends remembered throughout history.
Ranger and Zord as One. Unlike other wavelengths in the Spectrum, White energy focuses itself thought the Grid using unique and powerful relics, like Tommy's beloved tiger-blade, Saba. This somehow connects the inner essence of the White Rangers to their Morphin Grid constructs tighter than that between a normal Ranger's Morpher and their Zord, Borg etc. This is why it seems that White Rangers bring new and special kinds of Zords to fight alongside those of their teams. Their Zords are just as worthy of leading the charge as they are."

Power rangers writing prompts
I decided to do a post to ideas and prompts I have or recieved of Power Rangers, so people might decide to write them. Feel free to use them. It would be nice to get credit or message if you do use them but it's not necessary. If you have other ideas write me in the comments or in a message and I might add them to this list.
Some of the ideas are solid and some are very general.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers:
Tommy Oliver struggling in school (can also be written as ADHD or learning disability character)
Autisic Billy Cranston
Civilians figuring out the rangers identities because they always stay to fight against the putties even without morphing.
2X08, the tape recorded the rangers morph and their identities revealed (by the news company or because Bulk and Skull screen it to everyone before the rangers were able to stop them)
2X09: Rocky, Adam and Aisha are coming to Angel Grove to the Broomball Tournament.
Sylvia, Kelly, Jeremy, Curtis finding out their cousins are power rangers.
There are many episodes with a child who hang out with the rangers so write fanfics from their point of view about the rangers, maybe what would have happened if they figured out their identities or what happened to them in the future because they appeared only once (Maria, Willy, Sylvia, Kelly, Jeremy, Cameron, Roger, Hallie)
Power Rangers Lost Galaxy:
Cassie became the pink ranger after Kendrix's death
Power Rangers Dino Thunder:
Rewrite of the season with Kat as Tommy's wife/girlfriend and the pink dino thunder ranger
Power Rangers SPD:
Sky, Bridge and Syd as red, blue and green, and starting as a team of three.
Cruger thoughts on why not giving Sky the red suit.
Z growing up in the streets.
Jack and Z first meeting.
Autistic Bridge Carson. Fic 1.
Cruger finding someone to take care of Z, Jack and Sam instead of letting them be alone in the streets.
Jack and Z experiences in the streets.
The rangers are doing Jack a birthday party since he never had one before.
E14: Bridge tries to read S.O.P.I.E's aura and figuring out she is a cyborg.
E17: Bridge reads Sky's aura and find out the alien switched bodies with him.
Sky handles differently with the whole Mirloc situation.
E30: Bridge thoughts after he got kidnapped.
E31: SPD calls Tommy Oliver of the future for help after the Dino Thunder rangers appeared.
Post series: Jack Landors/Ally Samuels
The other rangers team come to help defeat gruumm.
Z and Syd also got promotion in the colors.
Power Rangers Jungle Fury:
RJ journey to find in himself the wolf spirit and how he became a master.
Why RJ openned a pizza parlour.
Dominic journey when he was alone.
Power Rangers Samurai:
Lauren is the leader of the team instead of Jayden
Serena a ranger instead of Emily
Terry a ranger instead of Mia
General (comics related stuff, crossovers and dynamics between characters from different seasons):
The morphin grid bless the rangers and help them to succeed in life after they finished being rangers
One of the rangers get hurt badly.
The rangers deals with chronic pains from injuries they got in duties.
Power Rangers Mighty Morphin X Power Rangers SPD:
Billy Cranston and Bridge Carson meet and being autistic together. (Ideas for the meeting: Bridge will go to a mission in Aquitar and meet Billy there. Billy is on earth and SPD asking him for help in some tech. Billy meet younger Bridge before he is a ranger because he came to an internship in his company.)
Power rangers overdrive X Mighty Morphin the return:
Thrax and Selena meet
Thrax and Selena grow up as siblings
Kira and Adam talks more about Tommy
Power Rangers SPD X Soul of the Dragon:
Conner, Ethan and Kira meeting Dr. Oliver in the future
Conner, Ethan and Kira meeting JJ Oliver
JJ Oliver is part of the plot of the season (maybe in D-squad or E-squad)

Jungle Fury Random Headcanons and Ideas
@skyland2703 @augment-techs @mo-ok @junglefurytrash went a bit crazy with this one
-Casey is the youngest of five siblings, and is the only boy in the family. He knows how to do makeup and hair.
-Due to his upbringing everyone in the house expected him to be gay, he was kind of dreading having to tell his mother and sisters but they were pretty chill about it.
-His sisters are either quintuplets or triplets and two adopted sisters depending on what you want to go with.
-Despite being the blue ranger Theo didn't develop his animal spirit until after Luen gained his. His parents seem to expect more from him as they were students in a sub school associated with the Pai Zhua.
-Theo's won a Guinness World Record award for karaoke, he claims it's in his blood to be amazing at it.
-Lily grew up within a small apartment in the city, she enjoys all the different foods that a place has to offer. Anything that's new and changing, reminds her of home.
-There's a chance that she trained with Zack and had him as a partner as she did mentioned how she used to do competitive dance competitions.
-RJ's mother passed away when he was young and he kind of blames himself for it. Despite trying to make their relationship better Finn may have blamed him all those years ago for Mrs. James's passing, just a constant reminder of her not being here.
-RJ is amongst one of the only individuals(Like Antonio) to discover the Morphin Grid on his own and is the reason the Pai Zhua has it as access.
-Sometimes just to spite Finn RJ catches fish and attaches them around the shark master's house. That way his air conditioning can smell terrible.
-Dominic flunked out of college, he was studying to become a teacher in geography.
-Casey seems more ticked off with Dominic because of the idea that he might try to go for Jarrod or RJ.
-Jarrod enjoys being around animals as his parents weren’t really around, his mother didn’t really enjoy the prospect of having a boy and his dad would either yell all the time or get pissed off about farm work not doing well so Jarrod cuddling up with a fluffy sheep or even summoning his black lion spirit to sleep next to it’s mane would soothe him.
-Despite all the troubles within the school Master Mao kinda sees Jarrod as his own son(Any of you kingdom hearts fans, cough cough Eraqus and Terra).
-Camille’s hatred of snakes was due to her mother being killed by Naja 10,000 years ago, she’s unaware of this fact but disposing of the snake rinshi felt right when it happened in the show.
-Her eyeshadow is actually a trait of her animal spirits. Animal spirits have way more depth to them as they are the shadow of one’s self, in some cases specific traits about said spirit leak into the person like physical to mental details (example: Camille’s eyeshadow, RJ’s ferocity from his wolf spirit.)
-megazords formed by animal spirits were based on specific influences centuries ago, from totems, giant sculptures like sphinx and even Animus. Some can claim that the guardians of the Pai Zhua were the first people to create earthly megazords within human history.
-mystical beasts or fictional animal like creatures such as the phoenix, azure dragon etc are somewhat rare due to a very small percent of people born with one or those entities giving access to said person. Such as the Phantom Beasts who are based on specific creatures. If Nick or Chip were to come to Pai Zhua and develop a phoenix and Garuda spirit then they’d be a powerful force.
-rinzen and zocalo energy isn’t inherently bad energy but the power is mainly associated with rinshi, the rangers have the potential to access it and even gain phantom beast modes similar to Jarrod and Camille.
-Fran’s animal spirit can range either from a black cat, owl or monkey and gives her abilities based on inner luck or focus making her quite powerful.
-Lily basically adopted Casey as her own little brother.
-Secretly Jarrod wants to pursue cooking or something based in creativity. He didn't touch a kitchen utensil for weeks after seeing kitchen nightmares and it took RJ having to throw the tapes out to get him back into cooking.
-Master Swoop can actually split himself into bat's and has the little shadows spying around the world for any threats. Its kind of creepy but very effective as he can easily have the bat's acting as kamikaze strikers to defeat monsters. Rangers on other teams don't know how threats get taken down but they don't mind, less work load.
-the Pai Zhua has more schools within the world that differentiate in some fighting styles and such. Some schools like the ninja academies try to pick up on their skills but a few of the campuses keep secret.
-Zordon tried to learn about the teachings thousands of years ago as their abilities mixing with the grid gave way for a spike in power with combat but they shunned the wizard away cause of being weary about his motives. Ninjor was welcomed in open arms via the power coins he had. This also explains why Jungle Fury was so scarce with the other teams up until megaforce.
-despite everything the Pai Zhua is nowhere near as moral as they tried to portray themsleves as. Some people can be very toxic in a few areas, Dai Shi had possessed people in the past and with each attempt they tried to have the individuals go mad and die from the experience as a way to rid themselves of the dragon. Casey and the rangers dismantled this ideology after killing the Dai Shi.
-because of her potential the academy sent scouts to try and push Fran to join the academy but RJ quickly shut that down and actually threatened a few of the higher officials because of this.
-Animal spirits talk amongst themselves when the team isn't around. Some play poker when everyone's asleep.
-because of being spirit and mythical based the JF team can handle most of the recurring threats of Zedd and Rita. Plus with their megazords not being mechanical they aren't easily disposed of.
-RJ secretly made JKP into a megazord incase there's an emergency, he met Antonio and added a shitload of symbol power and animal spirit energy to make it a powerful force.
-Lily loves a lot of 80s-90s music and loves to dress in a semi style of Y2K.
-Having no knowledge of Pokemon, Camille and Casey were sat down by Theo and Fran until they were introduced to Gen 4. Camille hacked her Platinum cartridge to get all the mythical and legendary mon events.
-RJ smokes blunts mainly to calm himself, it started as a way to escape the thought of his mother being goin and his father's disapproval.
-Tommy and Jason aren't allowed in Ocean Bluff when it comes to ranger activity because RJ's access to the grid could be useful but he likes to gatekeep and personally team wise if anything happens both him and the group wouldn't enjoy veteran rangers from the first modern team(unless it's billy) coming in and taking over operations.
-Camile and Jarrod jump monsters whenever a mission happens, forget talking, get the job done when needed.
-Casey was fired from the zoo for sleeping in the tiger cage and released all the animals into nice reservations after he was let go.
-Lily was made team leader as Casey doesn't feel too well with getting the role just for being a red ranger.
-Theo is a master at coming up with combo attacks and megazord concepts to the point that rangers like Chip and Max come to him for guidance. He's got quite the reputation in the ranger community for his witty ideas.
-Casey is on a red ranger watch list due to his sword skills, despite keeping their word Jason may have came to the city to demand some aid with their grid research and the two got into a brawl with Casey winning. Him, Jayden and Lauren are all at the top five of said list.
-RJ has dated lots of people but it usually never ends on a perfect note as they were usually relationships with people who took emotional advantage over him. Though he's in a better place within his life to try again with Casey or anyone who actually values him.
-Jarrod listens to a lot of punk music and back at the school Mao got complaints about speakers Blaring music at two in the morning.
-Cam hangs with RJ and shares ideas but he isn't allowed to tell Tommy about any of their conversations. The two may have had a thing in the past.
-Wolf rangers tend to have a powerful aura and they each meet together to talk about business, RJ has a bone themed secret landline he uses to contact them.( @sentinelofstories wolf war 👀😭)
-Due to Dai Shi the JF teams has a disdain for dragons, Serpentera count your days if you ever come back.
-Camille's rinshi form is just armor but was never accepted fully as a rinshi, she only became one to seem worthy in Dai Shi's eyes. The phantom beast hated her for many things and this was one of the reasons, thousands of years ago she murdered three previous members for nearly trying to assassinate her.
-Princess Shayla and the Wild Force rangers are on good terms with the JF team. Merrick follows RJ around like a lost puppy, Taylor spites Theo for being short, Lily tried to get Danny out of his shell. Max tries to explain modern day concepts to Camille, Alyssa and Dominic do small talk and Cole is given death glares from RJ or Jarrod because Casey has caught eyes for him.
-Casey is Gay, Lily is Bi, Theo is a straight ally, Camille and Jarrod are angry bisexuals, RJ is pan, Fran and Dom are unsure of what they are.
-It is unknown if dinosaurs can become animal spirits but Eric actively seeks out Casey to test this theory.
-Casey's favorite red ranger is TJ.
-The team watches movies each Thursday, Everyone except Lily can't handle watching Final Destination.
-it took some time but Jungle Fury had their crossover with RPM and its safe to say things were chaotic. Dillon and Jarrod pretty much had a staring contest with each other, RJ and Flynn got high for the most part, Scott kept crying tears of joy when Casey took him to see their world since it isn't destroyed, Theo wanted to throw himself out the window from hanging with Ziggy, Summer took Lily shopping and Camille was this close to murdering the twins but actually found herself warming up to them, she even went on a date with Gemma.
-Billy is on thin ice for trying to bring Zordon back and while RJ likes the dude he'd prefer that the giant head wouldn’t butt in on all of their affairs.

I liked the ending for what it was, I guess. It was alright but too many loose ends.
Rita's closure (she freaking went through a transformation in that canister!), the zombified Skull and Zack, (fuck them, I guess?) etc. Coinless Trini vanishes... with Kyia who I wasn't invested in (no shade)....
And obviously I'm a Jason Scott fan (character not actor) so I hoped that his Coinless version had more, at least a smidge (I know he's not your fave, no worries lol. I work with people suffering from PTSD so maybe that's why I have a soft spot for him). He kept his prison armor and they made a point to show it. I hoped he'd get some start to healing. Nothing story stealing mind you, no swooping in to take over, but goddammit throw him something...
And i will probably get some shit for this... I sort of hoped Drakkon would somehow resurrect and get a happier ending (what can i say... I've got a soft spot for the asshole). And happy, if weird, endings. I'm a softie...
But like with Coinless Jason (before his 'resurrection'), I know the impact is greater if he's actually dead...
I don't like or dislike the Solar Rangers or Hyperforce Rangers. I just wasn't as invested in them I guess. Too many Rangers on the field that left other characters out to dry that I was was more connected with....And wanted to know their fate...
However at the end Billy DID look badass in my opinion
Honestly while I would have liked if there was some indication Drakkon survived or could come back I'm not bothered by how there wasn't. Him and Ranger Slayer are by far the most iconic and popular creations from this run, so I'm sure we'll see them again one day. (Like they can do some bullshit "oh he died in the Grid so his spirit still lives on in there" or whatever - or even just ignore any explanation whatsoever depending on how we're doing canon/continuity stuff). My annoyance over Coinless Jason coming back didn't really have to do with the emotional impact of his death (there was none) it was more to do with the plot holes it opened up. I still say it would have been good to even get just a panel of the state of the Coinless World after everything was fixed, but frankly, with all the other nonsense I had to endure here, I'm glad they didn't go with my fear that he would get Drakkon's powers.
as for Future Billy, tbh he looked way too generic (and too much like Rogue Red Jason) for me to think he looked cool lol like i know some people clowned on Rogue Red Jason having bandages over his gloves - Billy having COMBAT BOOTS over his ranger boots is that times 100

need some help with reseach, please.
finally started writing some of the fanfics in my head down! only took me 20 years🙃. don't have a profile on ao3 or ffn yet, working up to that. kinda wanna have something more then a rough layout finished first.
problem is they have a lot of POC and cultures that i know little to nothing about. ufortunately, i don't have anyone in my 8 person social circle that i can ask and i really wanna write these characters and their cultures as right as i can! if i insult or misrepresent someone i want it to be on purpose, damn it.
so if you guys could point me to some reliable books/articles/documentaries/posts that can give me some insight, that would be a huge help!
1. got some atla stuff. they're pretty open about where they got inspiration from:
water= inuit, siberian, mongolian, polynesian(boats) and native amercan(facepaint) cultures, han dynasty, taoism, t'ai chi (ch'uan) and chi na.
earth= china and korea, tang dynasty, manchu and qing dynasty and baijing(ba sing se), vietnam(swamp tribe), song and ming dynasty(military), japan- ainu people(kyoshi), last emperor of china(puyi) and the forbidden city, the Chinese Nationalist Secret Police/qing imperial guards, the great wall, laogai prison camps, hung gar and chu gar.
fire= iceland, hawaii, polynesia, mayan and indian cultures, confucianism, hinduism, buddhism, han dynasty, imperialism propaganda in wwII japan, northern shaolin kung fu and baji quan.
air= Tibetan, Bhutanese, Nepalese cultures, shaolin, seven chakras, buddhism, gender segregation in monesaries, nomad cultures, baguazhang
but that's a lot litterature, so if anyone can narrow it down....
also - shinto, what's-it-called-when-spirits/gods-can-inhabit/see/hear-through-an-image-of-them, arranged marriage (in asian cultures), government monitoring of citizents, propaganda/isolation of population leading up to war/genocide/invation and during, children of two nations/ethnicities, decolonisation after decades/centuries, stabalising a nation and its relationships after war, women more important to society's survival, bodyguard/valet and master relationships.
2. power rangers(2017). i'm not american, i have no idea how US subcultures and regional differences work. all of them are lgbt+, but the experience is different for each. it will definitely be poly-rangers.
tommy- wanna write them as native american(if i can make it work) but that's a lot of cultures. tommy's a dino geek with a least 1 parent who's s geologist....so who's in an area with lots of those? also writing them mtf trans.
trini- latin-american, lesbian(untill she got the rangers) with caring but not very openminded parents, grandma in mexico, thinking mom's a nurse.
kim- desi, at least 1 parent's a doctor, cheerleader culture in high school, bi/omni, genderfluid/non-binary.
zack- chinese, trailer park, long trem/terminaly ill mom, single provider, non-binary, pan, adhd?
billy- black, miner(gold) culture, autistic(pretty sure i'm on the spectrum but it's not the same place as him, so....pointers), pan, asexual?
jason- industrial fishing culture, cronic pain, athlete culture in high school, pan, demi.
haven't seen the series and its movies yet, so if someone can point me to info about the alien cultures in it and the morphing grid and how the rangers's powers/coins work that would be great. also genius children/siblings, california, precautions/clean up after natural disasters.
3. disney descendants. empire cultures/city states/colonies, medieval(late)/renaessance/1700's court politics/etiquette/religions/women, pirates, greek mythologi(some written by a woman, please), voodoo, sharmanism, mermaid/shapeshifter/dragon myths/folklore.
mal- european fairies/fey/magic, matriarch cultures.
evie- middel easten medieval(late)/renaessance court politics/etiquette/religions, european/middel easten(?) witch hunts, european/middeleastern historical witches(NO WICCA).
carlos- black people/women + fashion and fur industry in 1950-60's england/london, black people in medieval(late)/renaessance europe.
jay- muslim, middel eastern myth/folklore/magic, djinn, middel eastern medieval(late)/renaessance relationships with asian cultures.
my OC, child of shan yu's sister and shere khan- hun, xiongnu, mongolian and indian culture/religion/folklore/medicine, tigers/indian nature, the great wall, mulan the original story, india before and during colonisation, medicine women.

💜About Me💜
My name is Abi or Vesper (online name) and I run this multifandom blog under the user: miss-morgans-lover.
The main fandoms you'll see are:
Twilight
Power Rangers Dino Charge
Marvel
Harry Potter (usually Marauders Era)
9-1-1/ 9-1-1 Lone Star
Omar Rudberg
My blog is not limited to these however, I am in many fandoms and will post/repost about them.
You will find I have a obsession love for a character called Kendall Morgan and the ship Kendall/Shelby from Power Rangers Dino Charge as well as Omar Rudberg. They inspired my user, blog theme, pfp and banner. They are my favourite things.
My favourite colour is purple (I wonder why), I am Bi and Genderfluid (They/She/He pronouns). I am a fanfic writer, cosplayer and editor, along with this blog. I play on Roblox (mostly Royale High).
Me and a few irl friends are also writing our own web comic, which I may share about on here, but most will be on the books account @the-spirit-academy which is run by me and an irl friend. There is nothing on it atm, but there will be at some point in the near future (hopefully).
I also have a RWRB/ Young Royals side blog (history--huh) this is the intro post for it
Discord:
I run a multi random discord server, which has a number of fandoms already added, and so much more room for more. So if you find yourself wanting a community for a fandom you are in and can't find one, dm me, either, it will already be there, or can be. It is called Anything and Everything, my user is wolfstarlover127, but dm me for the link.
There is also another server I am in called Twiwhores. It is run by @denalilily and @bellasdumptruckass and is a Twilight server, so if that's what you want, dm them and we'd be more than happy for you to join us.
Fanfic:
I write fanfic on multiple sites for a few different fandoms that I am in.
I currently have fics posted for:
Twilight
Harry Potter
Power Rangers Dino Charge
Wolfblood/Twilight Crossover
The Next Step
Twilight ones are all on Wattpad except one, but there is an intention to move them all to AO3 as well.
Secrets Series:
Secrets (Bella/Jasper)
Secrets 2 (Bella/Jasper/Angela)
Secrets (Rewrite) (Bella/Jasper)
True Mates? (Rosella) (Twilight/Wolfblood Crossover)
Underneath The Mistletoe (Jess/Bella) Mistletoe kiss, they pretend to hate eachother, but are actually in love. (This one is on AO3 only)
Harry Potter fics are also on Wattpad, but same intentions are there to move them to AO3 as well:
Moonstar (Wolfstar's child fic) set in Golden Trio Era, OC called Hope Libra Lupin Black
Vampire Love Story (Ginny/Hermione) Twilight inspired vampires but set in HP universe. Set at the start of Order Of The Phoenix when Hermione first arrives. One shot.
Hogwarts Coven AU A Marauder Era and Golden Trio Era AU. It is a supernatural spy AU set within the normal HP universe. There's Werewolves, Veelas and Vampires (inspired by twilight but not the same).
Power Rangers Dino Charge fanfic is on Wattpad, Tumblr and AO3, though, all is on AO3, and unless it says otherwise, assume it's just on AO3
Kendall/Shelby Vampire AU Oneshots - AO3 vers
Kendall/Shelby Vampire AU Oneshots - Wattpad Vers
Kendall/Shelby Vampire AU Oneshots - Tumblr Vers
Vamp!Kendall AU Context
She's His Pt1
She's his Pt 2
Why Him?/Temptation - Kendall/Shelby, Rated M, Vamp AU, was originally going to be in the oneshot book, but then I decided it fits better as it's own. Shelby and Tyler go on a date, it hurts Kendall in a way, she wants to be in Tyler's place, but Riley helps her realise that it's ok. Then she rants about how pretty Shelby looked.
The Honourary Rangers - Rated Teen, based on a hc, I (and a few others on the discord) have, that the science geeks of the team made new morphers that allowed certain people to become temporary rangers. It stemmed from my interest in the morphing grid and Kendall being the mentor, then grew. The main question is: who becomes an honorary ranger?
Mine - Kendall/Shelby, Rated M, Vamp AU, main fic in the vamp au, it explores their relationship from Kendall's POV, while also exploring what it's like for her doing what she does whilst being a vampire, and whilst having her past
1 Time Kaylee Helped Kendall and 1 Time Kendall Helped Kaylee - Kendall and Kaylee often hole themselves up in their work. This means they can forget to do things like eat and rest. This is one time Kaylee helped Kendall and one time Kendall helped Kaylee.
Night Training - Ivan POV, it's Ivan's first training session with them, but it's one of Kendall's surprise nighttime ones. She likes to keep them on their toes
The Next Step fanfic is just on AO3. I currently have one fic, and it's Gisanda
Rewind (Amanda Vs Ultra Elite) - Gisanda (Giselle/Amanda), Rated Teen, Set during S9 (writing started pre S9 release), what if, Amanda had been keeping an eye on Lucien as much as she could, she knew his schemes weren't over. When she hears about Ultra Elite being shut down, she knows what's likely happening. What will she do, when there is a risk of a rewind, and history repeating itself. (Side note: Amanda is traumatised from her past home life and time at Elite)

I make multifandom edits on tiktok for multiple different fandoms including:
Marvel
Harry Potter

headcanon game: Power Rangers Jungle Fury + In the episode where Lily went badass, what would have happened if Fran had ACTUALLY used her morpher?
Good question! Time to go rewatcb the episode!
~
- Fran isn't trained as a Pui Zhua anything, so the Cheetah spirit? Out of the question. The claw canon? Nixed.
- Fran does have an animal spirit, it's the owl, so she could use that if she knew how
- Fran can use the morpher, knows a little bit of how to fight, but she's not Chosen by the Morphin' Grid, so she doesn't have the Power to boost her punches or add its strength to hers.
- Honestly, Casey protects her more than he fights, making sure the monster's don't target her specifically. He's the Red, he's supposed to protect his team
- "What about Lily?"
"She told me to come if I was so worried so I did!"
"She's not coming!?"
"She's probably still at JKP!"
- Rj gets so pissed he actually shouts at Lily because what kind of Ranger lets a civilian- a CIVILIAN- go out in Ranger uniform and fight when the civilian has no training or any idea what their doing
- That monster gets away because Fran is more important to them than a monster they'll definitely defeat once Lily's back to her normal self
- Casey and Theo are a little cold to Lily for a few days, though it's not her fault, and they all know that
- Lily sells the motorcycle for more than she paid for it and returns the clothes she bought off JKP's card- the money goes to RJ along with most of her paychecks for the next six months (by her own request, she keeps only enough to live off of)
- Fran gets VERY hurt in the battle and spends three days in the hospital with bruises and broken bones. She's not a Ranger and she doesn't have the Power, so the suit can only do so much
- The reason Lily attacked Fran was because Fran took her morpher. Morphers are sacred to the Rangers. This time, Fran ran before Lily could do anything about it
- Rj asks Lily to pick up all of Fran's shifts for the next month. Lily does it for the next three.
- Lily's disgusted with her behavior. She can't trust herself around her friends, around Fran especially, and the animal spirits are hesitant with her. Animal spirits don't give a damn about if you've been poisoned or not, they care about what's in your heart
- Fran continuously tries to talk to Lily, Lily can't look at Fran for weeks without intense guily

Ok this is my first time doing this but I had an idea for a fic I will not be writing because I have the writing ability of a squirrel but I'm thinking the Hexsquad as power rangers.
Belos could find an ancient source of magic that can be used to make monsters and decides to send them across the isles to both destroy witches and demons and cause hatred as he claims it's wild witches doing it. To protect the isles the Morphin grid conspires with the spirit of the titan to make Luz, Willow and Gus Power Rangers with Luz as the red ranger, Willow as the green ranger and Gus as the blue ranger with their Palismen helping be the Zords. Belos clearly not liking this starts painting the rangers as wild magic vigilantes trying to deceive them and creates a team with Hunter and Amity(who Odalia volunteered for this) since their young and might be better suited to fight the rangers as the Golden and Lavender guards. But Amity being Amity and Luz being Luz they bond outside of masks, Amity realizes the rangers aren't bad, realizes Luz and her friends are the rangers, quits as the guard and eventually becomes the Pink power ranger. It takes longer for Hunter since he's had a lifetime supply of Kool aid but he eventually realizes Belos is evil, meets Flapjack and the hexsquad, also quits(read runs away) before coming back as the gold ranger.
This is just something that came to me while reading Equestria girls x Power Rangers fanfiction so what do y'all think

Color Theory discussions: BillySkull and maybe the addition of Matt. Because I’m curious now.
Okay, now follow along with me here: it would be a very rare universe where both of these boys would be able to be Powered up at the same time, because it is feeling more in more like, in direct relevance to canon, Orange is only allowed on screen/active, when Blue is not available for the team or in the moment. In the world of the Coinless, Skull only took on all the roles associated with Orange when he had to go undercover in the guise of a Red when Billy was shot through the chest. Fern, in Cosmic Fury, was only brought into the fray because Ollie went evil and the team needed someone to pick up the slack. The Orange Empyreal only came into being because Kiya literally murdered the Blue Emissary and their shadow came to life.
Orange is basically the blood that coagulates in the wound left by a Blue being missing. But they are not the same and it really shows in how they operate.
Blue can't work with what isn't there, but Orange can not only work around such a deficiency, but actively works to bring about change despite the lack of materials and spirit.
Blue is the memory of the Morphin Grid. If we take that into consideration for this pairing, Billy retains all the knowledge and memory of every relationship he's ever had. Which, whole awesome in the long term, is not great for short term because he gets caught up in the good, the bad, the awkward, the misunderstandings, the accidents, the hurt, and the love all at the same time. Being with him can be exhausting because he is a brilliant mind trapped in an flesh prison that doesn't allow him to operate both his wits and his mouth at the same time.
Skull, contrariwise, in almost every universe and timeline, never got the chance to embrace his place in the Grid for what he actually was. It was short lived and the memory was always taken away from him. And in the Coinless universe, this is a handicap, because he is in fact drawn to Morphin Energy and can act and react to what that means in the moment--and in long term, because Orange might be the doer, but that doesn't point to the WHEN he's doing anything. He can play the long game or act on the fly, because Orange is a dual Color in tune with Change. Despite what everyone wants to believe, Blue is also based in the elements of space, slowness, and loudness. Orange based in water, thinness, and quiet. Winter is still Blue's realm, where stasis is all, allowing the Ranger to observe and say "Eureka!" Autumn is Orange's, where everything is on the cusp of something else, always changing and yet also reliable in its change. They are good together in short bursts in the beginning of their relationship, and can only become more deeply entwined if Blue recognizes their little and big failings--because Orange already knows it has failings, often more aware of them than any other color, which is a big, big part of why it's so rare. The sheer amount of AWARENESS in Orange can be exhausting; as opposed to Blue, where it can go on for days to make things better, much to the detriment of the user.
That equal yet opposite thing is REALLY strong in this pair, so it's kind of no wonder that it would take FOREVER to become a true pairing.
Now adding Green into the mix, on the other hand...
Green is the hardcore survivor of the Morphin Grid. That's a given. It occupies Spring, which is a different kind of Change than Orange, often a much more violent one. It settles easily into air, brutality, bravery--which is different from courage (Orange) and sureness (Blue)--and a cunning; that on dark nights is more insidious and selfish than it should be.
Which is probably why I have a theory that Green and Orange and Purple are something of an antithesis of each other. Green could smash Purple (both a Summer and Winter type) into the ground with little effort, while Purple could--but would prefer not to--do the same to Orange. Orange, by rights, would be perfect to teach Green a lesson if the need arouse.
Now, bare with me, because this is a lot of where my subjective thoughts come into play.
Green/Blue are generally a rather harmonious duo in canon as friends and teammates, but if the bedroom came into play, we get into something a little bit awkward, because...well, for lack of a better way to put it, I think that Blue would be the dominant in this relationship, because there is just something in the Grid dynamics that makes it feel like it's...better...than Green? Like, there are no teams that exist in any meaningful capacity without Blue. Duos are a thing, but usually cased by calamity and death. A TEAM however, can't exist without Blue. So Blue is a little bit classist as well as carrying a superiority complex towards a Color that has not only been out of the loop in team dynamics for millennia, but is HALF of Blue itself taking on Yellow.
True, Billy spirited away the Green Dragon coin to Grace Sterling to cleanse it, revive it, and lobbied to give it to Matt because he saw the potential in his friend that had been there all along, but there is still something to be said about the Color influencing the Ranger. Billy has seniority in experience and would not let Matt forget that in close quarters when frustrated. Which basically means that they'd have an insanely primal sex life with Billy NEEDING to prove superiority. I think that the sex would be just a hair's breadth away from hate sex, with both of them being totally exhausted afterwards, and the both if them CONSTANTLY forgetting about things like hydrating, aftercare, and being generally kind of stupid for days afterward. With Matt flirting and flirting and flirting SOME MORE--like a peacock--and Billy just kind of...ignoring or being annoyed with him.
Green/Orange would be the ideal starter relationship, really. Because while Green was out of the loop for ten-thousand years? There is no record of Orange EVER being used in Zordon's lifetime on Earth, except for that one time, and again, that barely counts because it was for less than a day and he was a manipulative, condescending prick about it. He doesn't want to have Rangers on the team that would call him out when he's wrong, and Orange is nothing if not THAT ONE COLOR that every single person has an opinion about; it's either loved or hated and the same thing goes for the Ranger. And Green can empathize with that, given the rocky start it had with its team because of Rita.
Not to mention that now that Matt is also the only Ranger at present that had his life put under a microscope by outing himself to give Angel Grove someone to trust during the Dome Fiasco, he is probably fully willing to find some understanding and compassion from someone who has had ample opportunities to make his life harder, but just...hasn't? Orange/Skull being that very strange combination of compassionate, stable, and bluntly honest would be something incredibly appealing to Matt in the aftermath of losing all of his friends to Rangerdom, suffering the untreated trauma of abduction on the moon, Kim dating a guy that was evil for a little while there and also for a little while was incredibly aggressive about Matt getting the Dragon Coin, and now the whole Matt killing Grace thing. Say what you want, but Skull being water and Matt being air has a HUGE symbiotic thing going on there.
Also it goes without saying, Orange and Green are a kind of equal opposites. They share something that Blue does not have and in a POLY relationship this means communicating and translating things that can't be understood from just two sides. And where Blue is urged to be on top with Green, and in control with Orange, the two can find a soft middle ground that allows harmony to go on with all three at the same time. (This would kind of fuck Green and Orange ever if a breakup or going evil thing happened in earnest, because of really obvious reasons, but we are not getting into that here.)
TLDR:
If they want a real, solid, perfect relationship, they would have to be older, at least over eighteen. They would have to know themselves a little better. They would have to be honest with themselves and EACH OTHER.
Also, and this is just my opinion, Blue/Orange works in the early days as a fling, or playing around, but would never lock down until something bad happened. Since something bad is always happening, at some point, with Green and Orange, the ideal combination and timeline for this poly would be: Blue+Orange x mistakes/miscommunication= Blue | Orange << Orange+Green x years+jealousy/experience+Blue = Green/Orange/Blue going clockwise.

Legion of Myria
Library of Circlaria
Blog Posts
Article Written: 16 March 1456
The Legion of Myria is a multi-national, multi-faceted organization of traveling ranger-clerics spanning nearly every region of Circlaria as well some parts of Ancondria. These ranger-clerics dedicate their lives to ritualistic communications with the apparent forgotten divine spirits of ancient Totia.
Structure and Function:
Each of these multiple Myria Legion Chapters is a nomadic entity. However, they do have claims to certain pieces of property throughout the Circlarian Realm for uses such as meetings and sessions. There is no central mode of leadership to govern the Legion of Myria as a whole. However, the Mandate of the Totian Divine, although interpreted differently from chapter to chapter, is the centerpiece serving as a common thread. Nevertheless, a few rival Chapters within the Legion each believe they are superior to the others in terms of morality.
The Mandate of the Totian Divine is rooted in a belief established by the ancient Totians that those who died evolved into divine spirits to govern the world transcending the one in which the mortal beings live. Such a divine realm, accordingly, consists both of ancient and more recent divine spirits. Initially, the world was in a state of eternal chaos. And it was into this chaotic world that the First of the Divine set out to bring order to this world by creating more divine spirits, implementing a creation process that involved those created living as mortal humans before evolving into their fully-matured divine spirits after death. This belief was rooted quite possibly in the world that the early Totians perceived in the wake of the Ashen Years. According to members of the Legion, the divine spirits know a lot of answers unknown to mortals regarding the world around them.
Groups of Legion members regularly host interpretive sessions around a table, during which they spin special instruments known as Omniators, which are like spinning tops marked with special symbols known as clerical scripts. These Omniators are spun atop tables on parchment containing a simple grid. These sessions are attended by the Head Cleric of the group, ten Interpreters, and a score of Commoners (or visitors). Each Commoner comes to the session with a question. And in many cases, as the Commoner asks the perplexing question, they pay the Cleric, who then spins the Omniator upon the grid for a certain number of times. During these spins, each of the ten Interpreters makes note of the observed scripts that result from the Omniator. The Cleric will then collect these notes from the Interpreters and piece them together to formulate an answer, which the Cleric officially documents.
History and Diplomacy:
Many different Chapters of the Legion of Myria were established at different times. Some Chapters claim to have been established by the First of the Divine since the "beginning of time"; although scholars are quite skeptical of this. Documents show some Legion of Myria Chapters to have been in existence as early as the 600s CE, however.
The etymology of the Legion of Myria derives from a figure in history known as Lady Myria, who was born around the beginning of the Common Era from the same unnamed nomadic entity from which descended the House of Esary. Lady Myria married into the upper ranks of the Edoran monarchy in the 40s CE, and wielded her power to ensure that certain sections of ancient Totian scroll libraries were preserved. She collected many of these scrolls, which contained recorded oral tellings of early Totian divine mythologies. She bound these scrolls together into a book, thus creating the Mandate of the Totian Divine. The Mandate contained two Formularies: the Formulary of Summons, which indoctrinated its pupils into using clerical scripts to reach out to a certain divine spirit with a perplexing question; and the Formulary of Interpretation, which called for the formation and use of the Omniator as well as using it with the grid to interpret an answer given by the said divine spirit.
Lady Myria, throughout the 40s CE, traveled from monastery to monastery in the Edoran Kingdom to distribute this Mandate and this practice. Such monasteries wasted no time teaching this practice to its members. Lady Myria, however, called for these monasteries to preserve a Vow of Silence on the matter, to avoid releasing its secrets to the public in the hopes that the public would never corrupt the practice.
Nevertheless, in the year 713, a band of Clerics in present-day Terredon united and broke away from the monolith of clerical institutions upholding the Vow of Silence, and formed what would become the Legion of Myria. This became known as the Schism of 713; and those who led this breakaway movement believed that the public had a right to know of the practice of Totian divine interpretation, and that they had an obligation to travel from place to place in order to educate the public on the matter through open interpretation sessions. The leaders of the 713 Schism, however, upheld a promise to never exploit Commoners for any amount of wealth in order to perform the interpretations.
Then came the Schism of 852, during which fifteen Myria Legion Chapters located in present-day Furthing united and broke away from the doctrine against charging tithes. Persuading their paying patrons that their practice was superior to the other Chapters, who they deemed corrupted by personal politics, these breakaway Chapters reasoned that they needed funds to survive. Rivalry and violence erupted between the 852 Schism and other Chapters, with such feuds carrying on to the present-day.
The Myria Legion Chapters adhering to the principles of the 713 Schism formed an unofficial faction named the Order of 713. Shortly thereafter, those adhering to the principles of the 852 Schism named their unofficial faction the Order of 852. The Chapters within each faction demonstrated mutual loyalty and alliance with one another and were bitterly hostile to the Chapters in the other faction. Such acts of rivalry were most frequently carried out in the form of sessions drawing up answers to disprove beliefs held by the opposing Order. There were, however, occasional acts of violence including assassinations and deadly confrontations.
Numerous Myria Legion Chapters existed independently of the two Orders, not wishing to become involved in the associated politics. Some of these Chapters are, presently, part of a faction known as the Doubters, who have been asserting that each of the two opposing Orders is wrong because each carry a bias. The Doubter Chapters do not charge tithes but do accept donations. Another independent faction of Myria Legion Chapters is known as the Optimists. The Optimists assert that the Doubters and the two Orders are right with regard to some things and wrong about others. Although the most nebulous of factions, for they do not always agree with each other on opinions regarding the other factions, the Optimists promote solidarity between the Chapters via beliefs and principles considered to be "common threads." Optimists do not charge tithes either, but they are a little more assertive about asking for donations.

Ranger Headcanons Batch
-Marah and Dustin, after settling out their differences, have become rather good friends. Mainly like two braincells forming together in unison. She kinda likes to play dress up with him and with attending the academy invites him with Kapri to sleepovers.
-Marah loves Doja Cat, though Cameron had to take away her speakers when she kept blaring music in the Watanabe Estate. She gets music from Conner who in turn gets it from SPD so she has access to future artists.
-The Wild Force zords and animal spirits in JF are the same but have variations. The animarium used to be affiliated with Pai Zhua but split off, WF focuses on sharing wild force powers through their crystals as outside sources while JF utilizes animal spirit powers from the inside.
-Some dimensions share a universal counterpart, Shelby and Scott are counterparts along with their fathers. This may also count with other characters such as Mack and Venjix or Kendall and Dr. K.
-A lot of the older red rangers from MMPR to Time Force do not like the newer reds. For many reasons...One they aren't exactly keen on being respectful just because of bragging rights, Hunter is hated the most by some of them for good reason due to Jason trying to impede on personal business the Bradley's had with their parent's old enemies and the red ranger came back with electric burns on his body. Two the amount of gimmicks and forms kinda show up the older reds, Jayden and Casey jumped Tommy during a forced sparring match. And finally three, Tyler doesn't know who they are and for all we know there could've been different teams in his universe so who the hell is Jason Lee Scott?
-Hunter does actually like TJ, Eric and Andros, Cole is nice but he doesn't like him cause Dustin's got eyes for the fellow lion ranger...it's on sight if Jason comes to Blue Bay Harbor.
-Taylor and Jen despise SPD, Syd and Z's treatment being the reason.
-The first yellow ranger meeting happened during Ninja Storm and Dustin literally became the marshmallow of the group.
-Some teams that are more secluded have reasons mainly due to feeling indifferent about zordon or the increase of mmpr rangers trying to come in a fix everything when they aren't needed.
-while Mystic Force may the the strongest team due to their magic, raw power wise that category goes clearly to Ninja Storm with their non ranger elemental powers and training...if anything if lothor kept them as evil then I feel like it would've been even harder to change them back than in the DT crossover. Jungle Fury might be abel to take care of them if they are lucky.
-Rangers, specifically those with civilian powers, are banned from the Olympics. Or at least until there's a division crested specifically for them.
-The Morphin Grid has a spiral of collective unconscious with ideas, hence why Tarrick and Leanbow share a dort of similarity. The idea is that there might've been some magical aspects on Rafkon giving Tarrick the same appearance armor wise or a dimension where Leanbow was his counterpart.
-Necrolai and RJ had a feud during the Twilight era of media...Vida and Casey were hyping both sides up(mainly supporting their respective partners🩷🖤❤️💜). Luckily this wasn't about the movie and more on which were better, werewolves or vampires.
-Hunter and Blake's willingness to kill Kanoi wasn't by circumstance. They really were down to murder if needed, the Thunder Academy had some rather different ways of training but from being fueled by losing their parents if anything was to happen to the other sibling then it would be lights out for their enemies.
-During the Cosmic Fury invasion the Mystif Force team didn't lose against Zedd but only got caught off guard. He needed a backup plan because he knew he wasn't strong enough to beat them, they roasted the shit out of him from the ranger prisons.
-Majority of the rangers aren't straight.

LAST TIME ON.....Power Rangers Hyperforce? A bunch of crazy stuff happened that would take too long to explain because my god I am not rewatching all of those three-hour tabletop episodes just for a single one-shot book. You just need to know there’s a team of rangers called Hyperforce that was mentored by Jen who went through a lot of shenanigans across their time stream until everything broke and they didn’t get a second season and everything sucks. Also the pink ranger’s dad is the main bad guy and she works for him now. Got that? Okay. Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce.
- eh you know what, let me just repost the recap from the previews. it does a decent job at summing up the first season so we might as well have it again as a reminder for what’s happening
- fuck you dad i’m supposed to be taking down my dad
- yeah sorry Chloe but your plan never would have worked. Jen is not allowed to die in any story ever written with her inclusion
- Alpha 55!!!!!!!!! I did miss them. Even if they started the confusing trend of taking MMPR stuff and repainting them gold and black
- I still can’t fucking believe Joe/Nadira is canon. Literally for what reason
- It took me a second to remember that Hyperforce went to the North Pole during the first season and I have to say I laughed imagining newbies picking up this mostly serious and dramatic book just to get to this page
- it’s a shame the answer to this was Eddie dumping this beautiful woman at the alter for Vesper and not Vesper simply adding herself to the marriage
- let her cook honestly
- great character development, everyone! now anyway
- [always sunny theme] the gang gets betrayed. also Marv and Joe are here
- I already made the Emperor Belos joke but now I’m distracted by the fact he’s stealing Drakkon’s half hair/half bald style. It doesn’t look good guys, no matter where you part it!!!!!!
- you know, serious question here. Did they give Marv shit for not getting the Battlizer in Hyperforce??? I thought it was just a Thing That Happened and everyone was like haha cool
- “upgraded Rita Repulsa”
- see even Big Bad Dad thinks this story is rushed
- well at least he’s honest
- I find it funny that they’re pressuring Marv to be the leader just because he’s red when they were mentored by fucking JEN
- it’s a shame Hyperforce is canonically set in 3000s because you know if it wasn’t this would have set off a string of “[random ranger girl] is Chloe’s mom” theories
- I mean she’s right. what hope do we have from a team who couldn’t even get a second season
- idk Shattered Grid got fixed pretty easily. Even the cracks that were supposed to be some huge existential consequence just kinda............were fine
- Funny coincidence how the Hyperforce team goes to recruit the Wild Force team only for them to already be beaten. I feel like this would have worked a little better if they went to the Wild Force team because they were pinging for help, because they genuinely don’t give a reason as to why they go to the Wild Force rangers specifically kjlskdlfksj just based on vibes, I guess
- first of all: going from referring to Spa’ark with he/him to they/them pronouns in the span of a panel makes me feel like the misgendering was an editor mistake, which........come on, guys
- second of all: it’s not a surprise that Taylor is the only one left considering her popularity but lbr her popularity is because she’s basically Wild Force’s version of Jen. Jen, who was a main character in Shattered Grid. sooooooo not helping the “this is just Shattered Grid” allegations
- third of all: IS DRAKKON THE ONLY VILLAIN TO LOOK AT WHAT RITA’S DOING AND GO UHHHH NO THANKS? Spa’ark wanted to FIGHT Dark Specter!!!!! why are they joining him now!!!!!! why must we continue to destroy any of their nuance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t mind them having a body though despite it being a plot point that they're only a spirit/consciousness that exists inside their morpher/zord because I feel that’s easy enough to bullshit an explanation like Rita fixed them through magic or whatever

Well, yes. Mostly. But also, even if everyone knows the rules, 5e is just really fucking terrible as a system. Play D&D! Play whatever D&D you like! But you will probably enjoy 4e or 3.5e much more than 5e.
My friend made a minor treatise about it! Which I will proceed to quote here in its entirety, because he is right.
~~~
Stats are bad
Dexterity is a god-stat that increases AC, Initiative, Hit Chance, Damage, and is the basis for one of the most common saving throws.
Intelligence is practically useless for 80% of characters. Intelligence does not affect languages known, number of skill proficiencies, or anything in combat for non-Wizards/Artificers
Stat growth is horrendous, so initial stats are overly emphasized in importance and feats come at a huge opportunity cost. Since most feats are severely underpowered, they are almost never worth the lost stats.
Because of the order in which stats are assigned during character creation (racial bonuses coming last), the most important factor for determining an effective character build is race. This is incredibly limiting for people playing in “deadly” campaigns, as choosing any race other than the most optimized few for a given class build will result in dramatic unoptimization. (Note: This was mostly fixed in TCoE if you use the houserule)
Classes are unbalanced
Partially because of the prominence of Dexterity as a god-stat, even otherwise Strength oriented classes are often simply better when built with a higher Dexterity instead (Fighters, Paladins, even Barbarians).
Especially at higher levels, full-casting classes are incredibly more powerful than pure martial classes.
Magic is bad
A number of spells are incredibly overpowered or simply game-breaking, including Leomund’s Tiny Hut, Hypnotic Pattern, Dream, Heat Metal, Healing Word, Healing Spirit, Polymorph, and Eldritch Blast.
Spell level scaling is nearly universally terrible, to the point that it’s almost never worth upcasting things.
Spells relying on Saving Throws are functionally useless against most bosses (legendary resistance).
Multiclassing is bad
Due to the very poor stat growth, it’s practically impossible to make cross-class characters that use different core stats. The only effective cross class combinations are generally between classes that have the same one primary stat (Warlock / Bard / Paladin; Fighter / Barbarian; Cleric / Druid), and even those typically only make sense to “dip” in (to take only 1 or 2 levels of one class and all remaining levels in the other).
Movement is bad
The grid-based movement in 5E is simplified to the point of absurdity. Moving diagonally in 5E costs the same movement as moving cardinally. This causes grid based movement to be counterintuitive and confusing. If 5e wanted to make diagonals the same as cardinal directions, it should’ve used hexes instead of squares.
Equipment is bad
5E has removed most differentiating abilities from weapons and armor, compared to previous editions.
Currently the only differences between many weapons are the damage types (piercing, slashing, bludgeoning), the weight, and the cost (example: a Battleaxe, Longsword, and War Pick all do 1d8 damage and have the 1d10 Versatile property). Previous editions had qualities such as differing critical hit ranges, differing critical hit multipliers, specific stat or skill or feat requirements, or items that provided additional modes of using them or bonuses in certain circumstances (for example Daggers had a bonus to being concealed).
Additionally, there are no built-in ways to either buy or produce magical arms and armor, so unless your character finds some special or magical equipment, there’s a good chance they will end up using the same d8(d10) weapon throughout the entire campaign.
Combat is bad for martial classes - Because of the lack of versatility that was previously provided with branching feat trees, cross classes, and prestige classes, most martial classes (barbarian, fighter, monk, rogue, ranger, paladin) spend their turns in combat moving and/or hitting something with a weapon, sometimes twice. This gets incredibly boring.
tl;dr you should try a PBTA game
I think an important part of the "D&D is easy to learn" argument is that a lot of those people don't actually know how to play D&D. They know they need to roll a d20 and add some numbers and sometimes they need to roll another type of die for damage. A part of it is the culture of basically fucking around and letting the GM sort it out. Players don't actually feel the need to learn the rules.
Now I don't think the above actually counts as knowing the rules. D&D is a relatively crunchy game that actually rewards system mastery and actually learning how to play D&D well, as in to make mechanically informed tactical decisions and utilizing the mechanics to your advantage, is actually a skill that needs to be learned and cultivated. None of that is to say that you need to be a perfectly tuned CharOp machine to know how to play D&D. But to actually start to make the sorts of decisions D&D as a game rewards you kind of need to know the rules.
And like, a lot of people don't seem to know the rules. They know how to play D&D in the most abstract sense of knowing that they need to say things and sometimes the person scowling at them from behind the screen will ask them to roll a die. But that's hardly engaging with the mechanics of the game, like the actual game part.
And to paraphrase @prokopetz this also contributes to the impression that other games are hard to learn: because a lot of other games don't have the same culture of play of D&D so like instead of letting new players coast by with a shallow understanding of the rules and letting the GM do all the work, they ask players to start making mechanically informed decisions right away. Sure, it can suck for onboarding, but learning from your mistakes can often be a great way to learn.
