I don't care about anyone else's opinion, this version of Tommy Oliver/Kat Hillard will always be the best and my favorite. Not least of all because they are ACTUALLY MATURE, J.J. is the most perfect little bean, and oh look, Tommy actually presents as native here.

Probably the only bi/hetero couple I like from this era mixed in with the 90s era.

Calling on the the producers and directors: THIS WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT SHOW. ORIGINAL IDEAS ARE GOOD.

Had a dream about an all girl power ranger group whose mentors run a restaurant. But the three had to recruit three temporary rangers because they’d used their morphers to make a seal to bind their bad guys in a pocket dimension for a couple years.

Anyway the leader, a Pink named Clover, was in the process of trying to recruit (and probably fall in love with) a classmate from their high school. He had “broken every law you could break that had to do with cars”. Would have gotten a lot harsher sentence but his dad’s a senator.

The other two were going after the daughter of a female plumber and the kid of a retired rodeo clown. I have no idea how they were planning on convincing them but the set up was hilarious.

Also the comedy duo was a couple of instagram foodies who were determined to try to eat everything on the menu of the restaurant but could only get fried stuffed onions
