This will probably be controversial, but I feel like it needs to be talked about. (Marauders fandom edition part 1?)

Before I say anything else, I want to preface this by saying that everyone can have their ideas and headcanons about characters, you do you. So what I think we need to talk about is things like this:

“Omg no, the Marauders are definetly all straight, wydm??” “In canon they’re all cishet, can we keep that?” “Why is every single character some form of gay?”

In canon, little is known about them, but that’s not my point. This fandom is made up by 90% queer people that are making representation for themselves in media, because in said media, most of the “representation” is just one stereotypical queer person so the production team can claim they’re not homophobic. So when you take representation made by queer people for queer people and start packing it back into the same cishet boxes in was in before, you’re taking something that wasn’t made for you, and altering it to fit in a way you like. This sub-fandom wasn’t made by queer people so that straight people could take it and rewire it to fit them. Some *specific* instances of this are asexual Evan Rosier, trans Regulus Black, pansexual James Potter, and aroace Peter Pettigrew. While I’m not sure if this was representation some in this fandom made for themselves or others, it’s still important. What I’m really trying to say (it’s 12:36 at night, please) is that this fandom wasn’t made for straight people.

Marlene McKinnon isn’t headcanoned to be a lesbian so a weird uncle named Fred could fetishize her, she’s headcanoned to be a lesbian so that a 14 year old girl could see a character like her and feel seen. Sirius Black is not headcanoned to be gay/bi so a lonely wine mom could sexualize him. He’s headcanoned to be gay/bi so that a teenaged boy doesn’t feel so weird anymore.

Again, it’s okay to headcanon whoever to want to be this that or the other, that’s not what I’m addressing. It’s making everyone the same carbon copies of straight, white, and cis.

The beginning of it started with younger version of childe going missing as per lore wise, then he came back and was different and joined the fatui. Y/n helped take care of his siblings. She said she remembered that y/n and Childe often sent letters to each other and near the end there was this one incident with y/n in the woods and this creepy guy tried to her and foul legacy Childe saved her. Smut happened and they got married the end.

I have a story about the punk show my roommate and I went to last night.

So during any concert or show I have to sit or else I will collapse from pain by the end. This exact thing happened 4 days ago at a concert where everyone around me on a lawn stood the entire time so the only way I could actually see anything was to stand up. I stood for almost 2 hours then collapsed in pain with swollen angles and numb heels

Anyway because I have to sit when watching shows, I usually sit in the ADA section (especially with punk shows) so I’m not pushed around, and so I can focus on the show instead of the pain I’m in. This would be the 3rd show I’ve seen at this venue and the other two didn’t have any problems. Except this time I did.

For starters, the ADA section was way too small. There were 3+ people with wheelchairs, and 2 people needing to sit the entire time, not including any friends/family that may need to help their person. This is the first time I’ve been to a show here with this many people in the section, so I don’t blame them for “not being prepared” but they could’ve moved barriers around for more space.

Secondly, people kept ignoring the barrier to the section. There were multiple times when people stood right up against it, bending the fabric barrier thing so they were practically in the section. People would also walk from behind so they didn’t have to walk through the crowd to get to the door to the smoking area (yeah the ADA section is *right* next to the patio door)

Thirdly, people kept on falling ONTO THE BARRIERS and falling not only into the section, but also onto people standing nearby (like my roommate) or people in the section (aka me). When falling over they would also use my arm/leg to get up, which made me uncomfortable because it felt more than just a simple support, they would GRAB my leg. These people included not only people moshing (not bouncing off of person wall full on running into them) but also just drunk people falling for no reason. The entire place was either way too overcrowded, or the mosh pit was way too big and people not paying attention.

By halfway through the main show (after 2 openers) I just stood outside for as long as I could waiting for my roommate and we left early.

I am extremely lucky that this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this at a punk show. But it made me realize that punk shows are definitely not accessible. Sure, the venue can try their best (and 2/3 of the times they did, and it worked) but even so there’s always gonna be people who do not pay attention to their surroundings, drink too much, or just do not care.

Stuffed Toy Theory/Headcanon

I have a very cool interesting headcanon I wanna bring up about Seam! Now, I know a lot of you strongly believe that Seam uses they/them pronouns, (as shown in the livestream but I really don’t see that as a lot of evidence but moving on) which is perfectly fine but I like to believe that Seam also uses every pronoun.

Okay, we good? Good. Okay, listen, this is actually super cool and I really think it’s a cool theory/headcanon. We all know seam is a stuffed animal, right?

Okay listen… when we were all little kids and had our own stuffed animals, a cat, teddy bear, dog, bunny, whichever! We never knew what the toy’s pronouns are because

One: they are a toy

Two: We didn’t know about stuff like that at age 2

So we just kinda gave em one due to our preference.

Here let me give you an example. Let me show you my childhood stuffed animal.

Can you guess its pronouns?

By the way it looks, it either pass as a boy or a girl right? Of course it can, it’s a toy! But when I was a child at age 7, I simply saw it as a girl and that’s perfectly okay!

I like to believe that Seam is the same way, at least in my headcanon. Seam can use any pronoun because he’s/she’s/they’re a stuffed animal! Seam’s pronoun can be anything a person wants to view them just like how a child would see their own stuffed animal. I don’t see a problem with that, do you?

I know a lot of folks go crazy about gender in Deltarune, so much so to the point of death threats but you gotta understand something. What is the whole entire theme of Deltarune?

Imagination.

So if you see Seam as a they! Awesome!

If you see Seam as a boy or girl! Nice!

I don’t want people to fight over something like this, it makes me sad. 😢

That’s why I came up with this theory/headcanon, so that everyone can be happy! It’s a good idea, don’t you think? If you disagree feel free to give me your thoughts!
