NUTRITION JOURNALS: VITAMINS (PT 2/2)
WHAT IS THIAMINE?
- thiamine/thiamin (B1) is required by our bodies to properly use carbohydrates. It also helps maintain proper nerve function, and can be found in foods such as yeast, cereal grains, beans, nuts, and meat. its also used for digestive problems, diabetic nerve pain, heart disease, and other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these other uses. - thiamine is water-soluble, which means that it dissolves in water and isn’t stored in your body, so you need to consume it on a regular basis. your body can only store around 20 days worth of thiamine at any given time.
WHAT IS RIBOFLAVIN?
- riboflavin (B2) is required for the proper development of the skin, lining of the digestive tract, blood cells, and brain function. it is widely found in both plant and animal based foods, including milk, meat, eggs, nuts, enriched flour, and green vegetables. - B2 is vital for energy metabolism. It’s necessary for metabolizing carbs, protein, and fats into glucose for energy. without riboflavin, carbs, fats, and proteins can’t be digested. - riboflavin greatly affects the formation of other B vitamins, such as niacin and vitamin B6 (pyridoxine). These vitamins are also essential for weight loss. In fact, riboflavin is required to generate the active form of vitamin B6. vitamin B6 enhances weight loss as well. High levels of vitamin B6 have been linked to lower BMI.
WHAT IS NIACIN?
- niacin (B3) is important for general good health because your body uses it to turn food into energy. B3 is also essential for the health of your nervous system, digestive system, and skin.   - niacin can be found in red meat, poultry, fish, brown rice, nuts, seeds, legumes, and bananas. many cereals and breads also have niacin added.  - although getting plenty of niacin in your diet helps keep energy levels high, niacin doesn't likely relate directly to weight loss. eating a well-balanced diet containing plenty of niacin and other B vitamins as part of a reduced calorie meal plan gives you the best chance at successfully shedding pounds.
WHAT IS PATHOGENIC ACID?
- pathogenic acid (B5) is widely found in both plants and animals including meat, vegetables, cereal grains, legumes, eggs, and milk. it helps the body utilize carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids. It is also important for maintaining healthy skin. - B5 can be used in weight loss to help in breaking down fats and carbohydrates, two main causes of increased weight.
WHAT IS BIOTIN?
- helps your body break down food into energy and supports many parts of your body, including your nervous system, liver, eyes, hair, and skin. you can get it from eating meats, eggs, fish, seeds, nuts, and some vegetables, or by taking a daily supplement. - biotin supplements may help manage symptoms of diabetes. it might help reduce blood sugar levels, total cholesterol, and blood fats in some people with diabetes, but it doesn't have much effect on insulin levels.
WHAT IS FOLATE?
- folate (B9) is important in red blood cell formation and for healthy cell growth and function. it can be found mainly in dark green leafy vegetables, beans, peas and nuts. fruits rich in folate include oranges, lemons, bananas, melons and strawberries. - there is not strong evidence to suggest taking folic acid will help you lose weight, but it is still something your body needs.

Things that I'm finally starting to learn after finally taking this seriously that also might help you 💗✨️ I'll update if I add more
1. Space out your meals and snacks during the day. i.e I wait around 12:00-12:30 to eat lunch so I won't be in need of a snack so soon and it keeps the calories down
2. Always go for the sugar free option if it's not gonna hurt you. I use plant based sweetners that actually sweeten things up really well compared to diet cokes that are actually unhealthy
3. If I'm under stimulated, i will binge or go over my limit. Working out, being productive, etc. usually helps with this so instead of eating because I'm bored, ill be doing something like cleaning so I don't feel like it
4. When snacking, go for fruits or foods low in cal. I know this is obvious but if the @na community has said it once, we'll say it again: eat high volume foods. Strawberries, watermelon (tis the season), cherries (fruits can either be fresh or frozen) and rice cakes are some of my favorites. If you're not a huge fan of plain rice cakes, try caramel. They're a little higher in calories but they taste good
5. Try to incorporate protein in your meals/snacks. Not only for overall health but because it can keep you fuller for longer
6. Vitamins vitamins vitamins. I currently take vitamin c and d, zinc and occasionally biotin (I should really take it more).
7. Exercise multiple times in a day so the calories burned add up. Personally, I like to do it once during the day then again at night

HOW TO TREAT WEAK AND THINNING HAIR? - REVOLUTIONARY METHOD FOR HAIR TREATMENT – HAIR THERAPY SHAMPOO
Did you know that thousands of people, like you and me, suffer from severe hair loss? There are also cases of thinning, dull hair, which became more evident after the age of 40, where the hair becomes thin, dull, lifeless. Sometimes we wear caps, hats and even wigs to disguise our baldness, because we feel ashamed of our hair and even experience humiliating situations in places that do not allow the use of caps and hats, especially in more sophisticated places. Due to such suffering experienced by millions of people, since exposing hair is inevitable, researchers sought the cause of hair problems.   So, after much research, the real cause of female hair loss is NOT the result of 'bad' genetics, aging, menopause... or even childbirth. The real reason you are losing your hair, may be due to a faulty signal inside the hair follicles. Hence the revolutionary 60-second "Rapunzel Ritual" that will help you regain the full, youthful hair you had in your 20s. To facilitate, in view of the purpose that guides this channel, to help the greatest number of people, I will leave in the description of this video and in the comments below, the official website for the purchase of the product HAIR THERAPY SHAMPOO (RITUAL RAPUNZEL). You just need to join this opportunity, to start a new story of overcoming and achievements. YOU ARE CAPABLE, GOD BLESS!!!
∆ What is HAIR THERAPY?   It is a new shampoo from Clinical Effects designed to stimulate the growth of new follicular stem cells in women over 40 by repairing ruptured hair follicles to minimize the hair loss process.
∆ DOES HAIR THERAPY WORK? Yes, because the product contains in its formula natural ingredients and other revolutionary ingredients - stem cells which are the raw material that produces all other cells in our body - and are associated with youth and vitality.
∆ DOES HAIR THERAPY REALLY WORK? yes, as signaling molecules are released, sending an urgent message to your stem cells to grow more hair, they begin to divide and multiply... and new hair is formed.
∆ IS HAIR THERAPY GOOD? yes, because we know that we have two hair phases, stage 1 ¨Anagen¨, known as the growth phase, as it is when you are in your 20s and 30s... your hair will be long effortlessly, flowing and silky. However, as you age, an increasing amount of hair leaves the anagen phase and instead moves into stage 2, the ¨Telogenous¨ phase, where the hair stops growing and the root hardens. Therefore, by applying Hair Therapy Shampoo daily, you can enjoy thicker and more voluminous hair using a blend of natural ingredients based on the Rapunzel Ritual.
∆ HAIR THERAPY INGREDIENTS? Hair Therapy SHAMPOO is made with plant-based ingredients and revolutionary ingredients, among them: AnaGain, a phenomenal ingredient that stimulates the production of FGF7 at the root of the hair, to start growing new healthy hair; Baicapil which is a very special substance extracted from a herb called Chinese skullcap that increases cellular activity at the ROOT level, hair follicles are rejuvenated and energized from the inside out, restoring healthy signaling and giving your hair a more youthful and voluminous appearance; and Biotin which is an essential vitamin to heal brittle and fragile hair.
∆ Can HAIR THERAPY SHAMPOO be used by vegans? Yes, as Clinical Effects NEVER test their products on animals, their manufacturing process is ethical and environmentally friendly.
∆ How to use HAIR THERAPY SHAMPOO? The manufacturer recommends using the same Rapunzel's Ritual every morning, 60 seconds in the shower or bath, massaging the roots, which will leave rich organic nutrients in your hair.
∆ HAIR THERAPY SHAMPOO PRODUCT REVIEWS? Many women claim to have noticed a significant difference in just two weeks after applying Hair Therapy shampoo. Their hair looks thicker and fuller.
∆ DOES HAIR THERAPY HAVE A GUARANTEE? yes, if you get the product from the official website that I left in the description, it comes with a 180-day money back guarantee, which gives you six months to try it and see if it works.

Understanding Gray Hair
Why Does Hair Turn Gray?
Hair turns gray due to a reduction in melanin, the pigment responsible for hair color. Several factors contribute to this change:
Aging: As we age, the melanocytes in our hair follicles gradually decrease melanin production, leading to gray or white hair.
Genetics: Family history significantly influences the timing and extent of hair graying.
Stress: Chronic stress can affect hormonal balance, accelerating the graying process.
Nutritional Deficiencies: A lack of essential vitamins and minerals, particularly B vitamins, iron, and copper, can impact melanin production.
Environmental Factors: Exposure to pollution, UV rays, and harmful chemicals can damage hair and reduce melanin levels.
The Role of Serum for Gray Hair Treatment

Almonds vs. Peanuts: Which One Is Healthier?
Tumblr media
When it comes to snacking, almonds and peanuts are two of the most popular choices—and for good reason. They're tasty, convenient, and packed with nutrients. But when it comes to overall health benefits, is one better than the other? Let’s dive into the great nut debate and break it down!
Why Are Almonds and Peanuts So Popular?
Both almonds and peanuts have earned their spot as household staples. They’re versatile, nutritious, and easy to incorporate into a variety of dishes. But choosing the healthier option can be tricky, especially when factoring in specific health goals or dietary needs.
For instance:
Weight Management: You may want a nut that's lower in calories but high in fiber.
Plant-Based Diets: Vegans might look for a nut high in protein and calcium.
Heart Health: If improving cholesterol levels or heart function is a priority, you'll want to pick a nut that aligns with these goals.
Nutritional Profiles: Almonds vs. Peanuts
Both nuts are nutrient powerhouses, but their profiles differ slightly.
Almonds
Rich in Vitamin E: Great for skin health and immune support.
High in Magnesium: Beneficial for muscle function and bone health.
Monounsaturated Fats: Known to lower bad cholesterol levels.
Fiber & Protein: Aids in weight management by keeping you fuller longer.
Peanuts
Packed with Vitamin B3 (Niacin): Supports brain health and energy production.
High in Antioxidants: Surprising to many, peanuts have more antioxidants than almonds, which can help reduce inflammation and protect against chronic diseases.
Polyunsaturated Fats: Essential for heart and brain health.
Affordable & Accessible: Peanuts are often more budget-friendly than almonds, making them a practical choice for many.
However, peanuts tend to be slightly higher in calories, which might be a consideration for those closely monitoring their intake.
Health Benefits: A Closer Look
Each nut brings unique health benefits to the table.
Almonds
Studies have shown that almonds can significantly lower cholesterol levels.
Their high fiber and protein content make them an excellent snack for weight management.
Peanuts
Thanks to their antioxidant levels, peanuts may offer protective benefits for heart health and even cancer prevention.
They are rich in niacin, which supports brain health and helps reduce the risk of cognitive decline.
Which Nut Comes Out on Top?
When comparing overall health benefits, almonds have a slight edge due to their impact on cholesterol levels and weight management. However, peanuts are still a fantastic choice—especially for those seeking a higher antioxidant intake or a more affordable snack.
The Final Word
The better nut for you depends on your personal health goals, budget, and taste preferences. Both almonds and peanuts are nutritious options, and adding either—or both—to your diet can support your overall well-being.

B complex injections are a combination of essential B vitamins administered directly into the bloodstream via an intramuscular injection. The B vitamin family plays a critical role in maintaining various bodily functions, including energy production, red blood cell formation, and nervous system health.
The injection typically includes:
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine): Supports energy metabolism and brain function.
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin): Helps convert food into energy and supports skin and eye health.

B complex vitamins are vital for nerve function and brain health. They can help manage conditions like neuropathy, especially in individuals with diabetes or other chronic illnesses.
4. Enhances Skin, Hair, and Nail Health
Biotin (B7) is widely recognized for its benefits in promoting healthy hair, skin, and nails. A B complex injection can help improve these areas, especially for those with deficiencies.
5. Addresses Vitamin Deficiency
Certain health conditions, medications, or dietary restrictions can lead to B vitamin deficiencies. B complex injections offer an effective solution to quickly restore these nutrients in the body.
Who Should Consider B Complex Injections?
While most people can get adequate B vitamins through a balanced diet, certain groups are more likely to benefit from B complex injections:
Vegetarians and Vegans: B12 is primarily found in animal products, making it challenging for those on plant-based diets to maintain optimal levels.
Individuals with Malabsorption Issues: Conditions like Crohn's disease, celiac disease, or certain surgeries can impair nutrient absorption, necessitating direct supplementation.
People Experiencing Chronic Fatigue: Those struggling with low energy may find relief through enhanced B vitamin levels.
Pregnant Women: Folate (B9) is crucial during pregnancy for preventing birth defects and supporting fetal development.
How is a B Complex Injection Administered?
B complex injections are typically administered by a healthcare professional. The process involves injecting the solution into a muscle, often in the arm or thigh. Sessions can vary based on individual needs, with some opting for weekly injections, while others may require them monthly.
Potential Side Effects of B Complex Injections
Although generally safe, B complex injections can cause minor side effects, including:
Pain or Swelling at the injection site.
Dizziness or Nausea immediately after administration.
Mild Allergic Reactions such as itching or rash (rare).
It is essential to consult a healthcare provider before starting B complex injections, especially for those with pre-existing conditions or allergies.
B Complex Injections vs. Oral Supplements
One of the primary advantages of B complex injections is their superior absorption rate. For individuals with digestive issues or severe deficiencies, injections are more effective than oral supplements. However, oral supplements remain a convenient and affordable option for maintaining general health.

Derived naturally within the human body, this glycosaminoglycan helps retain water in tissues, ensuring elasticity and moisture. With increasing awareness of its health benefits, the hyaluronic acid supplement market is experiencing significant growth globally. Market Overview
The global hyaluronic acid supplement market is poised to grow at a robust rate, driven by rising consumer demand for beauty and wellness products. According to recent market analysis, the market was valued at approximately $320 million in 2023 and is expected to achieve a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 8.5% from 2024 to 2032. Growth is fueled by increased consumption of dietary supplements, expansion of the geriatric population, and heightened awareness about preventative healthcare.
Key Drivers of Market Growth
Rising Popularity of Nutricosmetics Hyaluronic acid has gained immense popularity in the nutricosmetics segment, where beauty supplements promise skin health from within. The increasing demand for radiant, hydrated, and youthful-looking skin is driving the adoption of HA-based capsules, powders, and gummies.
Aging Population The aging global population is a major contributor to market growth. HA supplements are widely used for their ability to reduce joint pain and improve mobility by replenishing synovial fluid, making them especially appealing to older consumers.
Awareness of Holistic Health Modern consumers prioritize holistic approaches to health, preferring natural and bioavailable solutions. Hyaluronic acid supplements, marketed as natural and safe, have gained traction among health-conscious buyers.
Expansion of Online Retail E-commerce has revolutionized the way supplements are purchased. With detailed product descriptions, customer reviews, and accessibility, online platforms have played a pivotal role in the widespread adoption of HA supplements.
Challenges Facing the Market
Regulatory Barriers Differing regulations on dietary supplements across countries can limit market expansion. Claims about HA’s effectiveness in skincare and joint health often need substantiation, requiring significant investment in research and compliance.
Price Sensitivity High production costs for HA, particularly when sourced through biofermentation, can make supplements expensive. This restricts access for price-sensitive consumers in emerging markets.
Lack of Standardization The supplement market is rife with inconsistent product quality, with some brands offering subpar formulations that fail to deliver desired benefits. This undermines consumer trust in HA supplements.
Product Innovations
Manufacturers are continually introducing innovative HA formulations to cater to diverse consumer preferences. Recent developments include:
Multi-functional blends combining HA with collagen, biotin, and vitamins for enhanced skincare and joint benefits.
Sustainable sourcing methods, such as plant-based HA derived from microbial fermentation, appealing to vegan consumers.
Customizable formats like gummies, powders, and liquid drops for ease of consumption.
Future Prospects
As consumer focus on preventative health and wellness intensifies, the hyaluronic acid supplement market is primed for further growth. Advancements in biotechnology could make HA extraction more efficient, reducing costs and expanding accessibility. Additionally, collaborations between nutraceutical companies and skincare brands may lead to the development of hybrid products that combine the benefits of supplements and topical solutions.

Experience the benefits of vibrant, healthy hair with Cerise Naturals' serum for gray hair treatment. Embrace your natural beauty confidently.
