i made overnight oats with protein powder last night, i could have filled potholes with it i think
#it was DENSE#i put protein powder oats a banana and a bit of leftover peanut butter#but as it was the bottom of the jar it was a bit dryer ?#then mixed everything with almond milk#(i don't like almond milk but the other day they replaced oatmilk with almond one in my grocery order)#one thing is sure i wasn't really hungry for lunch 💀💀💀💀#tw food#it tasted ok it wasn't sugary at all which made it a bit weird too

sharing with all of u my most favorite no bake granola bar recipe that has saved my ass on several occasions. by my best calculations its like around a dollar a serving (depending on where u buy your stuff)
the recipe itself if from here and the website gives you a bunch of different flavor options and what have u but this is what i specifically do.
these can be done in gluten free, vegan, nut free, etc etc
u will need.
3 cups oats. preferably rolled. whatever u have works.
1 cup of some kind of Nut or Seed Butter (original recipe says peanut. i use sunflower. whatever u have on hand as long as it is Smooth)
1/2 cup honey (recipe does say u can use brown rice syrup)
1 1/2 cups protein powder. whatever flavor u desire. this is the part that does get a little expensive but the one that i buy is a relatively small bottle and it lasts enough to make at least 2 packages
1 bag chocolate chips. i mean u dont have to. but youre lying if you say you dont want them.
microwave or toaster oven or real oven your choice of butter and the honey until its soft and happy. mix together. mix oats and protein powder in bowl. add in the honey butter mixture until combined. add in some milk if its too crumbly. add in chocolate.
line a 9x9 square baking dish with parchment paper/aluminum foil/plastic wrap/whatever u have. press the mixture in. fridge that little fucker for a few hours. cut into 20 bars. munch and crunch to ur hearts content.
recipe says u can freezer them. ive never tried but they do stay decent in the fridge for at least 2 weeks by my best testing. past that they might just get a little hard but theyre still very edible.
try them if u want. u probably need protein.

New Plan - Calories
No Snacks Between Meals
No Grazing
Eat without distraction / Mindfully Eat (when kids are asleep, when you don’t have to get up every ten seconds)
Eat One Bit at a time
Chew each bite 20-30x
Start fast at 5pm / 6pm
End fast at 11am/12pm next day if possible
5 hour eating window, 2 meals a day with 1 snack or 3 meals. Plan emergency snack.
Tea Between Meals
Sleep by 7/8p
Avoid Food Noise
Drink tea
Exercise
Make a protein shake with a lot of ice
Take a bath
Shower / do hair
Prep foods for next day using bento boxes.
Eat at the same time every day. don’t destroy a good routine.
Everything you eat at work, eat the same way at home

regulus: this is a hard one, he is so sexy. But since he is gothic, I think it would be really cute and gap moe if his breast milk tasted like birthday cake flavored ice cream or something :)
barty: if you have read my squid fic you know where this is going: cotton candy! yummy cotton candy breastmilk, just like the cotton candy flavored milk mix I had as a kid, or like the breast milk of coronabeth tridentarius from the locked tomb series!
evan: hmmm maybe a savory flavor, since he is an alpha Dom aftert all. Maybe barbeque sauce.
james: Romaine Lettuce.... I can sense it... his breast milk is crispy crunchy romaine lettuce,. I don't have any reasoning I can just sense it as a marauders era prophet, i am known for sensing theses things, this is also how I know barty was born in December, I just have a sixth sense. So don't bother arguing.
sirius: peanut butter. Dogs love peanut butter and peanut butter flavored milk certainly sounds interesting! I am kind of surprised they don't sell that already peanut butter milk mix
remus: Since he is a were wolf, I bet this influences the flavor of his breast milk. I bet it tastes like raw meat. For those who wish to eat raw meat but are afraid of Illness, Remus's breast milk may be a suitable secondary choice.
peter: Windex! I can imagine it even be the color and consistency of windex!
jaxxsin thicass: Definitely protein powder, and I bet it even has little unmixed powders in it as well, just from the sheer amount of protein powder he drinks
tom riddle: outdoor ashtray cigarette rainwater
lily bevins: a chemically taste sort of like if you take a bottle of perfume and you drink the contents. Like it smells nice and all but you can taste that chemically flavor at the back of your throat and your brain starts to tell you something is wrong.
dolores umbridge: I think it would taste like ramune and pocky because she is canonically a fujoshi
smarpe: root beer flavored Olipop, a new kind of soda that supports digestive health

Banana muffins
stick of butter. soften and beat with a mixer for a little while. Add a cup of sugar, two eggs, three mashed bananas and a tablespoon of vanilla. Mix that bitch up. maybe add a tablespoon of peanut butter for a little protein (and also bc yummy, do what you want)
Add a cup and a quarter of flour, half a teaspoon of salt, and a teaspoon of baking powder.
Mix just until combined, don't overmix your shit. Maybe add chocate chips or cinnamon if you want, go wild.
Bake at 350 for like 15 minutes

Fantastic question! Let’s see:
Lenore: Girl loves protein!! Anything with chicken, steak, you name it. And of course, venison. I don’t think she’s a picky eater, loves a good full plate with varied stuff on it. Loves a big burger on occasion. She has a little bit of a refined palette due to her upbringing but she ends up being a gigantic fan of like food truck style food
Duke: Stereotype to a T. Claims the French do pastries better, but America’s better at everything else. He likes having light breakfasts, think like fruit bowls or toast. Only really has snacks when in front of the TV. He’s also the type to make ramen and put a ton of extra shit in it like onion powder or cheese or egg
Pluto: Literally whatever he can find. He has a preference for fried foods. Will eat a salad if it has breaded fish or chicken in it. LOOOVES sea food. He will order like a salmon somewhere and Duke just starts fucking meowing at him. he’s a stupid cat. Didn’t ever have sushi until Eulalie taught him all he needs to know. Now that’s ALL he orders whenever they get Japanese take out.
Morella: Hearty, filling meals that can easily be shared. Broths, soups, things like that. She loves veggies especially when they’re roasted or steamed. Also loves when a bunch of things are mixed together stir fry style. She’s a huge fan of trying different cheeses when she makes sandwiches to try different flavor combos.
Berenice: Is the type of person to see ‘candied crickets’ on sale, buy them, and then crunch on them loudly. Will try the craziest shit for the hell of it. Has a surprisingly refined palette, also a seafood lover. She loves trying new things and mixing things. Like she would get a burger and put peanut butter on the inside of the bun just to see what it tastes like. Just because she can. Huge fan of gummy worms, and her favorite pastries are always anything cherry flavored.
Eulalie: Is also willing to try weird things. Will share the crickets with Berenice. She loves eating traditional foods that remind her of Japan, especially to judge how close they taste to the real deal. Huge fan of pastas and parmigianas. She’s trying to make sushi pasta a thing but nobody’s down for it.
Also Morella totally tries to host potlucks at her house because that’s her favorite thing in the whole world. She even gets Annabel’s group to come and it’s one big happy not drama filled time!!

Bakugo - He's evil... Unintentionally. He Smells so good, like cinnomin rolls and cookies, but he hates when people get too close.

Kirishima - Axe... I love him... But it's axe body spray 100%
Iida - Fresh books, pencils, and oddly cranberries... No one asks why though.

Shoji - Bamboo, Campfires, and Rain... All depending on the day.
Ojiro - Freshly vacuumed carpet, and if he's felling fancy he uses citrus body wash.
Hagakure - Fruity cereals, strawberry milk, and occasionally hazelnuts.
Aoyama - Everyone say it with me! 👏 Jasmine👏 Starbucks👏 and cake batter👏
Sato - Duh, flour, cake, fresh pastries, and Gingerbread.
Koda - This one is hard... He either smells like a summer garden or farm hay...
Mineta - B.O. which he says is his natural musk. And sometimes tries to hide it with axe.
Aizawa - Apple pie, fireplaces, and fresh blankets. He Smells cozy.
Allmight - He Smells like pubs... Even though he doesn't got there often... He also smells a bit like blood.
Endeavor - He Smells like charcoal, gasoline, and arrogance. He Smells like he tries to hard, which is ironic since he didn't even try hard to become #1 hero since it was just handed to him after Allmight. 👀 And never tried hard to be a good dad👀

Miss Midnight - She smells like Jasmine, aphrodiacs, and rose petals... Very flirty scents.

Eri - She smells like candy stores, carnival sweets, and fresh plushies.
Hawks - He's a mix... His breath is minty fresh, his hair smells like masculine cologne, but his clothes smell like leather even though they aren't made from leather.
Mirko - *the lingering affection from simps* Jk... Sort of. She smells like protein shakes, new shoes, and carrot cake.
Shinso - Tea, coffee, energy drinks... Anything he consumes that helps him stay awake really...
Shigiraki - I know he smells dusty, he smells like mothballs, alleyways, and Walmart 100%
Toga - She smells like blood, I mean it's inevitable due to her quirk. Other than blood, she smells like cheap makeup, like the really chemically smelling stuff.

today went wonderfully, although i still haven't gotten the hang of fixing my sleeping schedule. i'm trying to sleep earlier and wake up earlier, but i end up falling asleep a bit late and wake up late as well, which doesn't give me enough time throughout the day to do everything i want to accomplish. but despite that, i managed to do most of the things!
- did my daily workout, it was cardio today :) i managed to get into the habit of exercising regularly which i'm really grateful for because it's been keeping me sane lol
- practiced javascript for a little over an hour, i'm aiming to enhance my skills this summer
- cleaned my room and organised my shelf. been meaning to rearrange my things and i've been putting it off for so long, but i decided to finally do it. i listened to this youtube video on self compassion and shame, and how shame is rooted in the need for love. it was really insightful, definitely recommend watching/listening if you have an hour to spare
- i'm trying to incorporate more protein and really just maximising my protein intake and omg this snack i discovered is so so good... its basically yoghurt mixed with peanut butter, vanilla protein powder, and cinnamon, and i used that as a dip for apples! very delicious very filling
- i'm going to try meditating after i do my bedtime yoga so i can get back into the habit of meditating regularly, i miss it tbh

I just realized there are probably lots of you out there who don’t know how to cook, or struggle with “there’s nothing to eat” idling. And especially with finding enough food to eat for what little money you have, in these trying times.
Pending the expected price gouging from the new regime here in the US, here are some suggestions.
Cabbage! It’s cheap, for a LOT of food. Usually under $1 per pound where I live.
Eggs, depending what’s Going On Outside 🙃
Avocados are pretty inexpensive, and you can get 2 servings out of each one. They’re roughly $1 each here. If you have ramen, throw 1/4 to 1/4 an avocado on top of each serving, to make it more of a meal.
Rice is your best friend. You can add it to a lot of things to make more food. Honestly, a can of black beans, seasoning, and some rice, mashed together, makes great veggie burgers.
A small bag of flour, even if you don’t know how to bake. If you have grease left from cooking meat, you can make gravy. Broth or boullion + water, or milk is the only other thing you need.
If you don’t already drink tea, you can get a box of 20 tea bags of whatever flavor interests you, for not very much, and make a cup whenever you want something different to drink. Floral herbals are especially tasty even without sweetener. You can add ice, if you want something cold.
Tofu tends to be cheaper than meat, nowadays, at least where I live. There are lots of great recipes for flavoring and cooking it in ways that are yummy. You don’t have to be vegan to eat it, it’s just a nice, healthy protein in general. Throw some cheese on your tofu, I don’t care.
Check your local “International” section, because some things could be cheaper than the kind aimed at locals. For me, a lot of the stuff in the Hispanic food section is like half the price of the “white people kind.” I just recently learned how to make Sopa de Fideo, without knowing what it was until I saw the pasta cost $.50, and looked up recipes. It’s delicious and incredibly cheap for a LOT of food.
In a pinch, you can make soup out of almost whatever you have left in your space. My grocery money is a day late today, so I made “scrap soup” out of the last bit of cabbage, some minced carrots, leftover chili ramen seasoning, peanut butter, and the last handful cheap dried gnocchi I had left from last week.
Cheap Lazy Vegan and FitGreenMind on YouTube both have great inexpensive recipes. Also the podcast Eating While Broke, while not usually focused on the recipes, always has one or two “this is what I ate when I was poor” recipes, which they cook and then eat together. I’ve found some interesting ideas from that show!
Here are some recipes I’ve thrown together and liked lately:
*Fraggle snack*
Cucumber
Radishes
Mayonnaise
Worcestershire
Lime juice
Cilantro, chopped
Ramen flavor packet
Uncooked ramen, crushed
Use vegetable peeler or mandolin to slice cucumber & radishes. Mix together mayo, Worcestershire sauce, lime juice, & cilantro, and a teaspoon of ramen seasoning, toss with vegetables. Top with crushed ramen.
*Version 2* :
Packet tuna
Maybe a teaspoon of anchovy paste
1-2 Tablespoons mayo
Lime juice
Nutritional yeast
Half avocado
6-8 inch cucumber
2 radishes
A handful of walnuts
5-8 saltine crackers
Mix tuna, mayo, lime juice, anchovy paste, and a sprinkle of nutritional yeast to taste in a bowl. Use a vegetable peeler or mandolin to slice cucumber and radishes, add to tuna mix. Cut avocado into cubes, add to bowl, stir intil combined. Chop or crumble walnuts and crackers on top.
*Crab salad*
2-3 green onions, chopped
2-3 radishes, diced or slivered
1 carrot, shredded
Snack pack of imitation crab
Half an avocado, diced
1 tablespoon kewpie mayo
2 tablespoons chive & onion cream cheese
A dash or two of Worcestershire
Cooked white rice
*Faux Congee*
1/2 - 1 c day old cooked rice
2 c water
1 1/2 teaspoon chicken Better than Boullion
Pepper, paprika, onion powder, parsley, powdered ginger : to taste
2 T sweet onion, minced
2-3 T shredded leftover chicken
One egg
Half an avocado (topping)
Heat water to boiling in a small to medium pot. Stir in boullion until combined, then add rice and break up with spoon. Season to taste, add onions, and cook until onions are cooked and broth is thickened/rice have swelled and split. Add shredded chicken, return to boil, and crack in raw egg. Cover, wait until top of egg turns white, remove from heat. Serve with avocado on top.
Alternatively, you could toss in minced or shredded carrots at the same stage as the onion, or replace the chicken with protein of choice.
*Potato soup*
2 cups water per person (or broth)
1 cube boullion per cup water (omit if using broth)
1 large potato per person
1 large carrot per person
1/8 vidalia onion per person
1 T butter per person
1/4 c milk per person
1/4 c ham per person
1-2 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled, per person
1/4 c peas per person
2-3 bay leaves
Dried parsley
S&p to taste
Bring water to boil in an appropriate sized pot, add bouillon cubes, carrots, & onions. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, add potato, butter, & seasonings. Continue to simmer until potatoes & carrots are tender, add preferred meat, peas, & milk. Simmer 5 minutes more, serve.

Easy Energy Balls
2 cups Old Fashioned rolled oats
½ cup creamy peanut butter (no sugar added, or any nut butter or sunflower butter for nut free)
⅓ cup honey (or agave syrup for vegan) OR 2 spoonfuls of Truvia Monk Fruit Spoonable Jar
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ cup vanilla or chocolate protein powder (optional; we use this one)*
3 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Freeze the bowl for 5 minutes.
Roll the dough into 20 small balls, pressing the dough together with your hands. We used a 1 1/2-inch cookie scoop (#40) to make uniform balls. You can also make smaller balls if desired. (If the texture of your nut butter makes the dough very dry, add a little more honey or a few tablespoons milk of choice until you can press it together into a ball shape.) Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy!

Banana Split Cake! A Delicious and Colorful Dessert Recipe: Ingredients: For the Cake:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup whole milk
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 ripe bananas, mashed For the Frosting:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons heavy cream For the Toppings:
Sliced bananas
Strawberry sauce
Pineapple rings
Whipped cream
Chopped walnuts or pecans
Chocolate chips or chocolate shavings
Cherry on top! Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Prepare cake: mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter, milk, eggs, vanilla, and mashed bananas.
Pour into 9-inch round cake pans.
Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Prepare frosting: beat butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream.
Assemble: spread frosting between cake layers.

My Fit Girl Snacks:
When I eat real meals I EAT, so I like to snack light so I can really indulge myself at a little at lunch and especially at dinner (I don’t typically eat breakfast).
Liquid Death Sparkling Lime Water (20 cal) 💚💚💚
Topo Chico Lime (0 cal)
Green Apple and Almond Butter (290 cal but can be more or less depending on how much almond butter you use)
Quest protein chips (140 cal)
Power Crunch Bars (especially Peanut Butter Chocolate and Chocolate Mint) (190-220 cal)
95% Dark chocolate (4 squares is 200 cal but the most I ever eat is 2 squares because it suppresses appetite like coffee) if this is too bitter for you try to go down by 5% at a time until you can find one you can learn to love. Keep in mind the lower you go, the more calories and carbs per piece.
2 Wasa Swedish Style Crispbreads and 1.5 oz of Brie (240 cal)
High Quality Wild Caught Sardines in Olive Oil, my favorite brand is Nuri (250 cal)
A slice of Ezekiel bread and a tablespoon of Olive Oil with spices for dipping (200 cal)
Homemade Popcorn popped with Avocado Oil and topped with Garlic+Onion powder, Za’atar seasoning and olive oil. (I don’t ever measure the calories on this one, just try not to eat until you’re sick)
Raw Spinach/Spring Mix. This isn’t necessarily tasty and people look at me crazy but if I’m feeling snacky and haven’t eaten my vegetables yet, this can be a thing that I can mindlessly munch on while reading or watching a movie. I always get enough greens every day, almost too much sometimes.

trust me on this one
recipe: preheat oven to 350 F / 180 c
wet bowl: 1/3 cup peanut butter protein powder. 4 tablespoons of water. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 1/4 cup peanut butter.
dry bowl: 1/3 cup peanut butter protein powder (again, yes.) 1/2 cup oat flour (i used whole grain buckwheat flour instead and it came out great) 1 teaspoon baking powder.
mix dry into wet and mix well until a nice dough forms. roll into 12 even balls. hash and crush down with fork to however think youd like. bake 7 mins
makes 12. ~~100 cal each. freezing them will make them last longer. lasts 3 days on counter according to recipe

idk if yall have a bad sweet tooth sometimes but if you do heres a little 70cal microwave peanut mug cake!!
(idk if this has already been posted so if it has sorry!!!!)
2 tbsp (16g) powdered peanut butter (60cals)
1 tbsp (15g) egg whites (~8cals)
0 cal sweetner to taste (i used a packet of stevia)
mix together in a mug or ramekin, throw that bitch in the microwave for about 30 - 45 seconds. dont microwave it too long or it gets spongy.
you can add a few chocolate chips too.
