"Hey M/N, what are you doing over there?" Murphy called out. "You know you shouldn't wander too far; we just got here."

M/n gazed at him with his wide, unsettling eyes, releasing a long, audible sigh.

"You're a weird man, but I get it. Anyway, I made us both knives out of the dropped shift and- hold on, I got to deal with something," he said as he walked off.

M/N turned to see where Murphy was heading off to, but he didn't expect him to grab a girl and force her over the fire. He didn't know why he was surprised because Murphy would do some extreme stuff, but not this.

As everyone came over to see what the screaming was about, Murphy said to the crowd, "Check it out, we want the ark to think that the ground is killing us, right? I figure it'll look better if we suffer a little bit first."

M/N wanted to intervene, but he never became involved in Murphy's wrongdoing. Additionally, people are unaware that he and Murphy are friends, but mostly he doesn't want the attention to be directed toward him with something like this happening with Murphy.

Until, well, the chancellor's son stepped in.

"Let her go," he yelled, pushing him over.

"You can stop this," he told Bellamy.

"Stop this? I'm just getting started," Bellamy told Wells.

"Then Murphy came up and punched Wells. A boy in the distance yelled "Fight!" causing everyone to chant "Fight!" As the boys fought, getting thrown and exchanging punches, Wells managed to get Murphy down. Wells got up and faced Bellarny. "Don't you see you can't control this?"

"As Wells finished the sentence, Murphy stood up with a knife and said, 'You're dead.'"

Wait, "Fair fight," Bellary said, tossing a knife on the ground for Wells. Now M/N was getting a little bit worried, not for Murphy, but for Wells—maybe a little for Murphy.

M/n confidently moved away from the scene, intentionally avoiding it. In the background, M/n noticed Clarke and her group returning from their trip, with one member missing. "WELL!, let him go," Clarke said assertively, with concern in her voice.

M/n was sitting down, trying to gather his thoughts and take in his surroundings, thinking of ways to survive out there for the rest of his life, when he felt someone's hands on his shoulder. His eyes widened as he saw that it was only Murphy.

"He had some blood on his face. M/n reached up to his face using his sleeve to clean him up a bit.

"Why do you always do that?" he questioned. M/n looked at him with his big eyes and made an unsure sound.

"I mean with your eyes – they're always wide."

M/N let out a soft "I don't know" through his lips.

"Murphy couldn't help but chuckle as he said, "Let go," pulling up m/n and striding over to where Bellamy was."

Bellamy was tending to Octavia's wound. M/N seemed indifferent to where she got it and was present to hear Murphy complain about Wells and his sore face.

Then Clarke came along to talk to Bellamy and his gun which got M/N intrigued.

Good, follow me," Clarke said. "And why would I do that?" Bellamy said. "Because you want them to follow you, and right now they're thinking only one of us is scared," she added.

Murphy and your friend, come with me. M/n eyes widen. Atom? My sister doesn't leave this camp, is that's clear. Bellamy said, "I don't need a babysitter," Octavia called out. "Anybody touches her, they answer to me." Let go.

Since when are we in rescuing business, huh? Murphy said walking with Bellamy with m/n close behind

"The ark thinks the prince is dead once"." they think the princess is, too, they'll never come down. With a pause, Bellamy said, "I'm getting that wristband, even if I have to cut off her hand to do it."

M/n glanced down at his wristband, gently rubbing it with a thoughtful expression

"Hey, hold up," Bellamy called out. "What's the rush? You don't survive a spear through the heart. Put the gun away Bellamy," Wells said in an aggressive tone. "Well, why don't you do something about it, Murphy," said, shoving Wells. "Huh?"

Jasper screamed as they moved him. "If the spear had struck his heart, he would have died instantly. We don't have time to waste," Clarke said.

as the conversation continued between Bellamy and Clarke.

Behind Murphy m/n slightly moved his hand on his upper arm and grasped softly so he didn't do anything stupid while he stared down wells.

Then he heard Finn call out, "Hey, don't you find your own nickname? You call this a rescue party? We've got to split up and cover more ground. Clarke come with me."Finn said as he walked off with her leaving the rest of the guys behind.

M/n and Murphy walked together leaving Wells and Bellamy together.

You know that picking a fight with him isn't going to do much I said in a soft tone.

"OMG, you can talk?" Murphy said in a fake surprised tone.

"Haha, very funny -_-," m/n said.

I understand what you're saying, but it somehow brings me comfort, you know?" Murphy said. "What, from getting your ass kicked?" M/N asked. "Shut up," Murphy said, punching M/N in the arm.

Hey, how do we know this is the right way? Murphy said.

"We don't," Spacewalker thinks he's a tracker," Bellamy said.

"It is called the "cutting sign" for fourth-year earth skills," Wells cut in.

"Do you want to keep it down, or should I paint a target on your back?" Finn said. "Seems the only one who knows to keep quiet is big eyes over here." He suggested to m/n, whose eyes widened when he said that, slightly going behind Murphy.

See? You're invisible," Bellamy said to Wells. "Then, they hear Moan in the distance." "What the hell was that?" Murphy said. "Now would be a good time to take out that gun," Clarke said.

Jasper said, Clarke.

Clarke be careful, said Finn.

As she ran around toward him and then slipped into a trap before she fell m/n caught her

She stared at m/n

Clarke! "Get her up," Finn called out as the boys helped m/n pull her out. "Hey, are you okay?" Finn said to Clarke.

"Yeah, thank you," she told him, panting.

He nodded his head at her.

"We need to get him down",she said

I'll climb up there and cut the vines Finn added

Yeah, yeah, I am with you," said Well "No, stay with Clarke and watch him," Finn said, suggesting to Bellamy. "Let go," talking to Murphy.

There's a poultice on his wound. Clarke said. "Medicine? Why would they save his life just to string him up as live bait?" Wells said. "Maybe what they're trying to catch likes its dinner to be breathing," Bellamy said.

"Maybe what they're trying to catch is us," Finn said.

"Hurry up, Murphy!" Finn said.

"Be careful!" called out Clarke.

Then there was growling in the distance.

"What the hell was that?" Murphy questioned.

"Grounders," Bellamy answered in an unsure tone.

Then a jaguar came running up.

"Bellamy, gun!" yelled Clarke.

Then Wells started firing the gun, but everything went quiet.

The jaguar jumped at Bellamy, but before it could get him, Wells shot it.

"Now she sees you," Bellamy told Wells.

M/n was breathing heavily as the whole thing with down.

"that was crazy, "M/n thought.

as they made the journey m/n helped carry the jaguar back

"Who hungry" yelled Bellamy causing everyone else to yell.

m/n stood next to Finn as they both watched everyone take their wristband off for food.

"Are you not going to get food?" asks Finn

M/n shook his head no.

"Are they taking off their wristbands for food? No way, I won't do it," Clarke said.

"You don't have to," said Finn, walking up to the food.

"Why aren't you going to get food like the rest of them?" Clarke asked M/N, to which he shook his head no again.

"Do you have someone you love up there too?" Clarke asked softly.

"Yes," said M/N softly.

Clarke and Finn were eating. Then Finn got up, took a piece of their food, and walked over to m/n who was sitting by a different tree lost in thought. "Hey," m/n looked up at him and waved. "Here," Finn said as he gave him a piece and then walked away.

Unknowly Murphy was watching and he didn't like it one bit.

In defense of Octavia

TW: Lots of Trauma Dumping, Mention of abuse

She’s been wronged way too many times in this fandom for some reason. Look at her vibing, how can you hate her?

I’m a fan of Helluva Boss, mainly because of its potential but the quality dropped dead in the second season. We’re gonna talk about a character I’ve seen other fans misinterpreting in favor of the so-great Prince Stolass.

I want to talk about her mainly because I do what I want and because after studying her character I just realized that she’s just like me. Especially regarding her relationship with her father, I see myself in my younger years.

All of that to say…

She has all the right to feel abandoned.

Octavia obliviously has a stronger bond with her father, it shows in her behavior and little background details

When she wants to draw her family, she draws her and Stolas, we mostly see her being happy with him which leads me to think that she’s emotionally neglected by Stella. To her, Octavia is just an ‘egg’ that fell off her and she doesn't care about the impact killing Stolas could have on her daughter.

Despite being emotionally absent, Stella has a much more physical presence than Stolas. Most of the time Stolas is alone in his castle which leads me to think that Octavia is somewhere else with Stella. They did mention the two went on a weekend somewhere. This leads us to this question…

How can Octavia feel more close to her father?

Here’s the thing, I see a lot of my family dynamic here. My mom doesn’t pay attention to me at all, she doesn't want me to bother her and she makes it clear. My dad, however, who’s absent like 90% of the time, always tried to spare time with me. He explained to me that he was working and why he was doing all of this (I was like barely ten) but it never prevented him from trying to play with me, sharing his hobbies, going on a walk, and else.

He was there emotionally and, as a kid who was bullied, had no friends at all, and a mother who didn't give a damn, I cherished this relationship.

I believe the exact same thing happened with Octavia, we never see her with friends or even outside the castle, she’s isolated. Stolas has Prince duties, we’ve seen him carry them in the shows, hence why he’s mostly absent leaving her with her mother. But, at least when she was a kid, he tried to do stuff bringing her to Loo-Loo Land or being the one to comfort her. That is why she clings to her father, he’s the only one who actually shows her love and she’s terrified of losing that.

Regarding her mother, Stella obliviously doesn't care about her so the feeling is reciprocated. From a narrative standpoint, Stella is an unpredictable force of nature getting angry for pretty much anything that doesn't go her way. So Octativa learned to not cross her mother's path.

I know this expression, this is the “Oh fuck… they’re at it again?” she’s used to her mother's constant screaming, she's used to her parents fighting.

She did say they were a time when a parent didn't hate each other, which to me refers to the time when Stolas tanked Stella’s abuse. But, that doesn’t mean that Stella wasn't abusing him in front of a younger Octavia, she’s erratic and they did imply that she can get physical in her toxic behavior. Since Stella was passive, it was probably mostly harmful comments.

Putting personal things here, my mom was also very abusive to my older sibling. Since I was extremely young I learned not to ‘be a burden’ to avoid being abused as well, which includes things like not talking to her unless she does it first. Whether Octavia is aware of the physical abuse or not, she must know enough to know that it’s a bad idea to annoy Stella.

This is the only picture where we see her seemingly having a good relationship with Stolas, which to me feels like she’s faking it considering all we know about the family.

She has a pretty shitty household but her relationship with her father make it bearable until Stolas did a 180°

He randomly started to prioritize Blitz and don’t spill me the bullshit of ‘he’s trying’ he stopped trying long ago.

Let’s analyze this episode by episode:

In Loo Loo Land, Stolas seemingly tries to rebuild a visibly strained relationship with his daughter by bringing her to a park she liked when she was a kid. To this, she immediately responds with an “I’m not 5 anymore.” and an “I rather kill myself.” There’s no room for miscommunication, she doesn't want to go there, and she won’t enjoy it as much as she did back then. Still, he decides to go there, showing that he doesn't listen, and, he brings the one the thing that is currently ruining his already horrible marriage because of his own actions. Blitzø.

He’s trying to spend time with his daughter after a long time (this is mentioned in the episode) and he decides to bring in that one guy he’s hooking up with to deliberately make sexual remarks about him in front of her.

She’s uncomfortable the whole time, not just because she allegedly doesn’t like listening to her father's comments but because she doesn't like the park. She said it, yet Stolas doesn't acknowledge it, he doesn't realize the faces she makes which are to me pretty communicative of her annoyance and discomfort.

This is not even subtle body language, yet he only notices it when she runs off. The worst part is that he still finds a way to think about Blitzø when his daughter leaves.

He looked upset that Blitzø didn't follow him! Did he expect that guy to pursue him constantly? He was in the middle of an argument with his daughter, I personally would have stepped away to give them space to talk and reconcile. But no, apparently Blitzø should be at his beck and call all the time.

But you know what, after all of this. He still apologized. That absolutely does not negate everything he did during the day but, at the end of it, he finally listened to her and even brought her to a place she actually wanted to be. Which is good, he acknowledged her discomfort and did something she liked.

Until Seeing Star.

Look I know Stolas was busy with Stella but he clearly doesn't care about her and her stuff.

Don’t tell me he couldn’t pinpoint Stella’s location with magic and teleport all of her belongings to her. Their discussion was barely about the furniture, he could have said that they were gonna be delivered and hung up the second he saw Octavia. Arguing with Stella is pointless, he’s the number one guy that should know that! Why does he continue to insult her, he’s just fuelling the fire!

Moving out her belongings would have been 10 times faster if he just hung up the phone, then he could have had a more mindful talk with Octavia without the constant bickering of his ex-wife.

But he didn't for some reason, fair enough, I guess. The writers do whatever they want. Anyway, Octavia got angry and ran to go see the stars on her own.

So, Stolas’ castle is in Pride but my point still stands, Octavia had the time to run from home and make the way all from her father's place to the city, find the specific building Blitzø held his organization in and Stolas didn't notice a thing.

You cannot tell me Stella managed to get his attention for that long AND you cannot tell me that his castle is close to the shitty disaffected building and the populace. His daughter ran off and he did not notice a thing.

Not only that but he has the nerve of blaming Blitzø for not watching the book. Like, dude! You should have watched your daughter instead!

Then he spills out more bullshit.

I don’t know Stolas, how could you possibly find her when you were shown to have countless abilities to do so?

Like bubbles projecting the image and locations of people.

Or that on time when you possessed corpses and one woman just to go full eldritch monstrosity just for one that one guy you’re cheating your wife with. And don’t whine about “They don’t love each other.” it’s still affecting his family, mainly his daughter so it’s still bad.

Of course, you do all of that without your grimoire without any problem, brushing it off with a…

I guess he forgot his ‘ways’ when it came to Octavia. But honestly, Loona literally found her easily just by looking at her Instagram account, couldn't he just call her or something? The girl had her phone the whole time and he didn't just think of calling her.

Me when I forget that I have teleportation power when I am in an enclosed space with nobody is looking.

You’re certainly not worrying right now. Via literally told him to his face that she was scared and he kept flirting with him even though he once again caused her to run away because of his neglect.

He’s not trying his best, THIS IS NOT TRYING!

No Loona, his daughter communicated very clearly issues related to their relationship, rather than reassuring her and being there for her as much as it’s realistically possible (he still has duties to carry), he gets in an avoidable petty fight with his ex and keeps an unhealthy dynamics with an imp he's been obsessing over. He doesn't focus, his priorities aren’t straight, and now Octavia feels abandoned.

I did mention that I had a good relationship with my father back then, but it stopped abruptly. His focus changed and he went out with friends after work and gradually stopped spending time with me. Until we never spent time together again, (to give you an idea the only moment where I could see him was in the morning for breakfast) now that can sound silly but I was a child, with no friends and a neglectful mom, losing the only good thing I had in life broke me. I knew his schedule, I knew he was spending time with work buddies and that just stung my self-esteem even more leaving me feeling like a burden when I was just a kid who wanted to feel love.

This is why I don’t like the “He’s trying.” I know what a trying struggling parent looks like and I know what happens when they stop. If you keep trying to do something and you’re constantly failing, either your technique isn’t the right one or you’re not and you’re convincing yourself you are.

And then there are people that’ll tell me that “He lived through the abuse of Stella for years for her.”

If you read all of this then I don’t feel like I need to explain how Octavia was at least partially exposed to Stella's toxic behavior and was affected by it.

For those who don’t know how it feels to live with an erratic mood-swinging person, it’s pure constant stress. You have to think constantly before you talk or move because you know that if you fuck up you’re gonna pay the price. And if you still eventually mess up you can never know with these types of people! You can’t defend yourself because the punishment will be far worse. You are ALWAYS in the wrong.

So he lived through the abuse of Stella just so his daughter could get neglected and abused in a less physical way?

The difference between my parents and Octavia is that they love each other. Stolas doesn't give a damn about Stella, he did say he was nice at first because he empathized with her they were in this shitty situation together, and fine, it's reasonable. But she never changed! Stella stayed the same! Why didn’t he leave her when he stopped carrying about her?! There’s no trauma bounding, Stella isn’t guilt-tripping or manipulating him, they got the child he could have divorced her easily without consequences! If anything, she’s the losing part of this divorce she’s lower in the hierarchy! “Andreaphul will get angry.” HE’S A MARQUIS! Hierarchically speaking Stolas is far more important and he mopes the floor with his peacock ass!

Am I supposed to be empathetic with that one dude who willingly let his daughter grow up in a hyper-toxic environment with an emotionally neglectful and unpredictable wife?! Am I supposed to believe he cares when he kept sleeping in his house in his bed with the same guy his daughter clearly is worried he’s going to leave her with?! Really?!

Don’t ever tell me that this is trying.

Some ideas for helluva boss episodes and short that I have had for both a long time and a short time.

Episodes.

Guardian @$$hole!. The plot revolves around blitz by some mistake getting his very own guardian angel and more specifically a power of the second sphere an angel specifically designed to kill demons and dark spirits. After blasting through the same wall that is nearly always destroyed and explaining that he wasn't here to kill them the angel confesses that he doesn't understand why his higher ups want him to guard a demon but he's not the type to question orders. The angel in contrast to a lot of the cast has a very solem and sacred energy to him feeling much more like how you would imagine an angelic warrior as opposed to the comical cherubs and the hedonistic adam being very dutiful and tact but the problem is that he is a power so that means that he is very smite first ask questions never and that poses a problem because now blitz has to make sure for example the angel doesn’t smite loona over making a sarcastic comment towards him and this only become a bigger and funnier problem as blitz tries to go through life with this seemingly invicable and perfectly moral angelic warrior always a few feet away from him. Eventually blitz has had enough when the angel stops him and his crew from doing their job but another problem is the fact that they can't force the angel to leave stolas mentioned that even a full strength goetia would struggle to overcome a power so they can't make him leave and he won't leave on his own as he is committed to his orders so the team try and think up ideas to make the angel leave throwing around ideas but none of them can think of anything that would work but as the angel absently mindedly goes through blitzs desk after blitz told him to wait in the office he finds out about veroskias hate party and finds his next target.

The next day everyone is happy that the angel seemingly left on his own but when loona goes to her phone she finds on the news that the angel was going on a rampage and headed towards veroskias Manison smashing through the streets of hell like the doom slayer not ever responding to some of the attacks. The gang immediately race after the him but nothing they do even slows his advance smashing his way through the Manison determined to find and smite veroskia for her disrespect towards the imp he had been assigned to and just as his sword is about to chop veroskia in half he finaly got his proper orders and stops his attack he notes how blitz and his found family risked their lives for someone who had done nothing but cause trouble for them and with that he admits that he had underestimated helldorns potential for righteousness and after thanking them for helping him see beyond the world he was raised in he flies off back to heaven and the episode ends.

A few other ideas I had for episodes that are much less fleshed out are.

1. The team having to help a seemingly immortal human with (cw) assisted suicide.

2. Some alternative ideas for ways to teach stolas the errors of his ways pre mastermind such as having to deal with his angel counterpart shem malaphiatis (I definitely got that wrong) and his prefect "yaoi fanfic" esqu relationship with his lizard cherub boyfriend named bolt and trying to spitefully ruin their relationship out of envy but eventually apologizing for his behavior and learning his lesson.

3. A stolitz bodyswap episode inspired by a piece of fanart.

4. Various crossovers with franchises like doom, devil may cry, bayonetta, supernatural, ghostbusters, scp foundation, owl house, spawn, hellboy, trench crusade, Buffy the vampire slayer, bendy, my little pony, good omens, etc etc.

5. Ronaldo coming back for revenge in a role reversed verison of ghostfuckers where blitz supports millie this time.

6. A bunch of ideas about an episode where the boys are the smart and mature ones and the girls are the ones who need to be saved.

7. Octativa doing some detective work.

8. Stolitz is having their first healthy date at ozzies along side m&m as fizz and ozzies way of making it up to them after what happened last time but while couples are enjoying a nice double date the b team consisting of loona, fizz, octativa (who is here because while she still resents her father a little she isn't willing to let him die as proven in sinsmas) and vassago have to fend off an army of dhorks agents now fitted with proper weapons (they still have some edo period stuff on them of course but it's modified with sci fi gadgetry), Stella's personal legion of actual goetian legionaries but most of them couldn't stand her and quit so she hired a bunch of half rate Mercs to blostier her forces led by an exhausted striker and an army of mammons fizz bots led by the one from loo loo land! Bonus! Fizz gets to pull a megamind button of doom and defeat his past by blowing up an evil robot verison of himself.

9. Veroskia gets captured by the dhorks and the i.m.p team reluctantly save her with blitz and Vero finaly putting their past behind them once and for all.

10. Veroskia learning she had a half human (cambrion) son and having to deal with her own pre development loona. With gags like who I'm gonna call Daimen sarcasticly asking if blitz is his father.

11. Another one with veroskia has her fizz and blitz all work together to bring down glitz and glam.

12. One that involves the team getting stranded on earth of at least a week.

13.loona getting saved from hells animal control.

14. The team going up against a human magic user.

15. A trip to the real world non Canon episode where blitz argues then makes out with Brandon.

Bro i love stolas but bro… he fucked up so badly. When octativa learns that he’s alive, her emotions will be FULLY justified with all her words. “Why does he care more about HIM than his own DAUGHTER?!”

After rewatching Mastermind, I feel like the episode actually draws a very interesting distinction between Blitzo’s and Stolas’s respective big ‘Heroic Sacrifice’ moments. Namely in whether they are genuinely necessary sacrifices or a wasteful moment of a character pointlessly throwing their life away.

You see, when Blitzo does his big ‘throwing himself on the sword’ moment where he takes all the blame on himself in order to get Moxxie, Millie and Loona spared, it’s a genuinely heroic, necessary act.

In this moment, Blitzo truly did have NO other options. They were ALL being threatened with death, so Blitzo leveraged the one tiny bit of power he held and took all the responsibility onto himself.

This is very much not a case of Blitzo ‘throwing his life away’. Right then, he was going to die no matter what. But through his sacrifice, Blitzo made sure that the people he loved would live.

Now let’s contrast this with what STOLAS did. He does do essentially the same thing Blitzo just did to save him just as Blitzo saved his loved ones.

But in context, Stolas’s big moment of sacrifice is a complete WASTE. Because while Blitzo truly had zero other options, Stolas DID.

I mean think about it; Stolas is a Goetia. He has POWER, he has influence. The ABILITY, at least potentially, to save Blitzo.

But did he attempt to use any of that? When he appeared in that courtroom, did Stolas try to argue Blitzo’s innocence? Try to push back against his brother-in-law’s scheming? Try literally anything OTHER than big dramatic self-sacrifice?

No. Literally the first thing Stolas did was go straight to throwing everything away, INCLUDING HIS LIFE to save Blitzo. Admitting to whatever made-up bullshit Andrealphus used to frame Blitzo and co. in the first place and just throwing himself on the sword right off the bat.

And that’s not a good thing!

Blitzo was ready to sacrifice his life after it became clear that there was no other way to save his loved ones.

Stolas was ready to sacrifice his life because it seems to have been the first thing he could think of.

Do I really need to spell out how this is a VERY BAD THING for Stolas?

Especially given that one of those things he immediately decided to throw away without a second thought to save Blitzo happens to be HIS DAUGHTER.

One of the last things Blitzo says is to ask his two best friends to take care of his daughter.

While I think it's pretty goddamn clear Stolas wasn't even THINKING about his daughter.

And before anyone pipes in with any trite about how their precious-little-blorbo-who-can-do-no-wrong ‘didn’t have time to think of anything else’ and ‘was just trying to protect the man he loved’,

Again; LITERALLY THE FIRST AND ONLY THING HE COULD THINK OF WAS THROWING HIS LIFE (and daughter) AWAY TO SAVE BLITZO. How the FUCK is that supposed to be ‘good’ or ‘excusable’?

And despite the ‘wholesome Stolitz domesticity’ ending note, Stolas’s reaction makes it pretty clear he is currently processing just how MASSIVELY and UTTERLY he just FUCKED UP. Particularly the whole ‘Oh shit I just threw away my daughter…’ reaction to Blitzo and Loona embracing.

Overall I think this is very much a deliberate contrast meant to highlight these characters’ growth, or lack thereof, as well as showing how they deal with a moment of true crisis.

For Blitzo, this is very much a make-or-break, back-against-the-wall moment where he demonstrates how much he truly loves his new family with a truly heroic act of self-sacrifice. Blitzo knew he was going to die no matter what, but he made sure that his loved ones would be saved.

Which of course is meant to sharply contrast how STOLAS handles the situation.

Blitzo’s moment of self-sacrifice demonstrated how much he loves and cares for his new family, to the point where he will lay down his own life to keep them safe. Whereas Stolas’s moment of self-sacrifice demonstrated how little he cares for HIMSELF, or anything other than Blitzo. To the point where his first response was to throw away everything, including his LIFE, and his DAUGHTER, to keep Blitzo safe.

Bellamy Blake Story-Arc in Season 7

So, now it’s time to look at this narrative mess, I guess. Which actually, if you look closer, isn’t such a great mess at all. The problem is that the ending of 7x13 was rewritten - this is not the point where Bellamy’s Arc was originally supposed to end, which is very obvious, when you look closer. However they decided to bump him off in order to elevate Clarke (who actually was Character Assassinated in 7x13 and whom I don’t care for anymore right now. As far as I am concerned she is a lunatic who should be put down rather sooner then later, so ... yeah, good job, you succeeded in making your audience hate your Lead, dear 100 Writer’s Room), because appearently a show is only allowed to have one Main Character and everyone else is just spare.

But back to Bellamy.

The thing is Season 7 wasn’t really about getting Octativa back, it was about getting Bellamy back thanks to his unforseen abduction in 7x01 and the fact that we got Octavia back by 7x02. Which is why 7x13 is so frustrating, it just killed of the main story arc of the season - quite literally.

Now, the Bellamy Arc we got in the last three episodes and the couple of scenes we had with him in the other three eps or so was in was actually pretty interesting. Mainly because it was obviously leading somewhere, however we never got to see where.

But it is pretty obvious. It is all about the Vision Bellamy had on Etherea, the Vision that was a shared vision, Cadogan was in it, and obviously could remember after. Remember when Bellamy told Clarke he couldn’t lie to Cadogan? It was pretty strongly implied he meant that literally. Because Cadogan was somehow in his head thanks to the shared vision and would know if he lied. This connection obviously went both ways because Bellamy seemed to know thinks he was not told On-Screen. Now of course Cadogan could have just told him all this stuff Off-Screen, but this is not the impression I got. Bellamy was acting very self concsious around Cadogan in those  to episodes, always catching himself when he was acting normal (like in the scene with Emori) as soon as he was looking at Cadogan. Which could just be “holy cult leader” stuff of course, but it clearly wasn’t. He was submissive in a way no one else was, almost seemed to be afraid of Cadogan, always appeasing him, and at the same time he is  the one that pointed out the flaw in the Disciples logic to Ducette just an episode before.

It is also strange that Bellamy seems to exist outside the ranks of the Disciples. Everyone else, who was recruted, had to ungerdo training, achieve Levels, get numbers painted in their face - Bellamy was just in the minute he stepped foot on Bardo again, because he took a Leap of Faith, but how would anyone know if he wasn’t just faking it? Cadogan was the one, who declared him his honored side-kick, and Co-Messiah if you will, mainly because he was on Etherea and went through the Pilgrimage. But so did Ducette. Now Bellamy is the one who had the Vision and whose prayer did make the storm go away, which means he was touched by .... the Transcendents (I don’t know what they are called yet), which means he is higher up in the ranks of the Disciples than Ducette, howvever it was Ducette who became the new First Disciple, not Bellamy. But what did Bellamy became then? The Second Shepherd? Appearantly. But again: Why? Cadogan wouldn’t trust him, if he wouldn’t have a very good reason to.

So assuming the reason is that he was touched by the Transcendents, this is the reason why Bellamy is suddenly Number Two on Bardo. And maybe he always was supposed to.

Now, I never understood why Bellamy was kidnapped in the first place in 7x01. It could not have been to have leverage against Octavia, not really, because they already had her, and had leverage against her anyways, it could not have been to draw out Clarke, because ... honestly why did the just not kidnap Clarke in the first place, when they wanted Clarke? They ordered this as soon as the found out Clarke had the Key, but Bellamy was abducted sooner, so we are back to the leverage against Octavia theory, which makes no real sense given that they had Diyoza and a machine which could go into Octavia ‘s mind. I thinkt that is what they claimed the reason to be a some point, but as soon as Bellamy showed up, Anders said the did not actually need him. And he claimed to send him back to Sanctum, but did send him to Etherea instead. Why?

I think because Cadogan had always known Bellamy would come to Bardo and eventually become his Co-Shepherd. He knew since he had his own Vision on Etherea all those time ago. That is why there was a Standing Order to get Bellamy Blake as soon as someone with pictures of him in his mind would show up on Bardo. This happend when Levitt saw Bellamy in Octavia’s mind, therefore a team was send out to fetch him, and therefore Anders send him to Etherea because that also was a Standing Order or maybe Cadogan actually told him that flat out when he woke him.

So yeah, Bellamy is special because he has a connection to the Transcendents.

But that does not mean, he was really on Cadogan’s Side. Yes, he sincerly wanted to end all wars and knew the test was coming and was calling it the last war, however I think he actually understood it wasn’t an actual war but a war against oneself and one’s better nature.

Now, for some reason everyone assumed Bellamy was not undercover but had really joined the Cult. I am not sure why because this is exactly what Echo, Octavia and Gabriel themselves did: They pretended to join, even went as far as to betray their friends to proof their loyalty and played that charade for months. Bellamy was on Bardo for a much shorter period of time.

For some reason everyone always wanted him to say out loud he was only pretending. Again I am not sure why, because we know there a cameras and I never got why those don’t record sound, but after what Echo and Hope pulled, I sure as hell would record what my hostages are saying at this point. Also they own a mind reading device, so yeah, even if Cadogan weren’t in Bellamy’s mind, I would not go around and admit that everything is an act out loud if I were Bellamy.

Moving on to the bad things Bellamy did, which made him deseve death in Clarke’s Eyes: Well he did not do anything. He told Cadogan Clarke did not have the Flame, which would have come out eventually anyways, because that bluff had been stupid from the first moment on, and Cadogan might have even known at that point already, beause as you might recall Niylah did slip up and more or less told him Callie was the First Flamekeeper after Clarke had claimed she was a Heda, since then Cadogan was suspicious and might have shared this suspicion with Bellamy just before he presented him to his friends at the end of Etherea. The next thing was that Bellamy picked who to mind scan, which again would have happened anyway, since no one was cooperating any more. All Bellamy did was point at the persons who could know where the Flame was so that not all of his friends would get mind scanned but only two. And finally the reason Clarke murderd him: A fucking Book of Drawings, he had not even given to Cadogan at this point. Clarke did it to keep Madi safe, but who says Bellamy would have told Cadogan who made the drawings or that he would have let them mind scan Madi? He told Clarke and the others several times to trust him, and they decided just not to. Why? Mainly because he did not storm Bardo gunblazing but used his head instead of his heart to save everyone, just like Clarke told him to at the end of Season 5.

His last words were also: “This is how we do better” just like Kane:s were. Not killing and maiming anymore is how we do better - same message.

What’s more: Why the hell did Clarke assume she could keep Madi a secret from the Disciples anyway? And why did she not just shoot all the Disciples like she threatend to, took Bellamy hostage and with her through the Anamoaly or took the drawings instead? She already had Madi, she could have just kept her daughter save at her side, no matter what Bellamy might do with the drawings.

And of course: Why would she need to kill him? The threat was the book with the drawings, not Bellamy. She is a much better shot than that: Arms, Legs, fucking stomage, which is bad but not necessary deadly - she could have shot Bellamy, but did not need to kill him.

He was no threat to her or Madi at this point. The whole scene would have worked if Bellamy would have done anything bad before or during the scene, but like I said he did not! He was not holding a gun to Madi’s head, he was holding a book with drawings!

Also: Shedheda, Madi, Cadogan and Bellamy all seemed to know something important about the Anomaly/the Transcendents - and three out of four more or less worked together because of this. Knowing what those Aliens can do, maybe it would not be such a bad idea to listen to them? For Humanity’s Sake?

So overall: Bellamy was on principle right in those episodes, while his methodes might have been wrong and working with Cadogan might have been too, but I am not so sure that was what he was really doing. Maybe the overall Arc was going towards Bellamy replacing Cadogan as the Shepherd to get the Disciples on their side. Ducette certainly would have gotten along with this. (By the way: Why did Ducette have Night Blood? This was the most confusing thing about that horrible 7x13 ending scene to me, because I could make no sense out of it. The Disciples are the Second Dawn Spawns and therefore those without Night Blood, are they not?) Maybe the two even started planing that on Etherea.

It certainly would make sense with the theme of the season and Murphy’s and Emori’s and Shedheda’s Storyline about pretending to be a god. Why should Bellamy not pretend to be a Messiah, especially given that he actually is one by the definition of this Cult?

Whatever, I guess we will never know, because the writer’s decided they needed Clarke to go insane. Maybe it’s because they wanted her to do something unforgivebale and this it why they staged the whole moment that stupid, but at this point it just makes no sense.

Overall I also have to say that I am starting to find it worrying that as the season progresses the Disciples seem to become the ones that are actually right, and Clarke and the others are the monsters here. I mean of course the whole Final War, No Family, and No Individual Love is nonsense, but somehow the other are the ones who are doing the real horrible things here - killing of people for no good reason, planning mass murder out of revenge etc. It’s probably on purpose (by the writers), but everyone had come so far before, and now Nikki is the one who acts more sensible than Clarke by sparing Raven’s life, while Clarke murders Bellamy without good reason? Something has gone very wrong in the Writer’s Room in this season.

Summary: Jason’s flashback at how his wife got killed + his own thoughts.

Warnings: Angst, death

Note: You are Jason’s wife and you daughter’s name is Octavia.

Jason stood at the bar, staring at the mess he made. Blood stains decorated the walls like they were paintings and dead bodies decorated the floor like they were carpets. Unfortunately, most people among the dead were innocents caught in the crossfire. It had to be done.

Jason was tracking down a very important drug dealer. He made a  promise upon his wife’s grave that he would kill the man responsible for her death . His wife would not have approved of killing but it was his nature.

He took a bottle of bourbon from the dead bartender’s hand and slide onto a chair that wasn’t filled with a dead body before sipping on the bottle. He pulled out a photo from his pocket and stared at the woman and child as memories started to flood back.

“Hey Octavia, are you ready for the football game?” Jason walked to the living room to meet his daughter. “Dad just a few more minutes!” The thirteen year old hushed her father as her attention was focused on the cartoon she was watching. He gave a small smile and walked back to the bedroom. His eyebrows furrowed when he saw a sealed package on the side table near the bed. Before he could open it, his wife walked into the room. With a swift action he threw the package under the bed.

“Aren’t you suppose to get ready?” You asked your husband who was standing in front of you with just his tank top and boxers on. “Oh, yeah.. Don’t worry.” He gave a small smile before walking to the closet to take out his clothes. The usual black shirt with black pants and a red leather jacket. You slide onto the bed as you watched your husband dress up however you felt curiosity taking over you as you saw a something strange on Jason’s thigh. “Honey, what’s that?” you pointed to this thigh. “Um, my gun..” He mumbled. “You are not bringing that to the game. You promised me that the gun was used as house protection.” You stood on your feet with your arms crossed. “Fine.” he took out his gun holster then punched in the numbers of the safe box before throwing the gun in and locking it. “Happy?” he threw his hands up in frustration.

You rolled your eyes in response to your hot-tempered husband. “I am gonna check on Octavia.” You simply said before exiting the bedroom. Jason peeked out to see if you were gone before proceeding to retrieve the package he threw under the bed earlier. It was not his place to open the package but he did it anyways. He always had a suspicion on his wife ever since they got back together. To his dismay he saw packets of drugs in the package. “damn it, Y/N” he mumbled in frustration.

“Y/N come over here i have to speak with you.” Jay called out. “Go take your jacket let me see what your father wants.” you told Octavia. You were never as close to her as Jason was. Well, it was your fault anyways. You walked into the bedroom “yeah?” you asked. “What the fuck are these?” Jason tried to control his anger but you could see him shake lightly. “You don’t have the permission to open that!” you defended yourself. “I-what?” he scoffed “i trusted you. When did you start falling off the rails huh?” Jason clenched the packet of drugs in his hands. You were sure if he didn’t control his anger he might swing a punch to the wall. “I-I don’t know.” you whispered, looking down in shame.

“Look at me.” he cupped your face with his free right hand “i did not bring Octavia back just so that she can see her mother fall of the rails again. You hear me?” he said through gritted teeth. “Daddy” you heard a small voice. You shoved Jason away and looked away from him. “Hey sweetie-” Jason was interrupted by his  daughter “were you and mommy fighting?” she asked with a small pout. “No, no. We were not. We were just talking.” Jason forced a smile “go on, put on your shoes. Daddy will be right behind you.” he gently planted a kiss on her head. “Alright!” she skipped off to did what her father told.

Jay turned to face you. Disapproval and anger painted his face. “Either the drugs are out of the house or you are.” He gave a stern command before walking off to bring his daughter to the football game. You sank to the floor crying. This was your fault. You fucked up… again. The first time, Jason left you in rehab and took Octavia away from you. It’s been 10 years since you lived together with your husband and daughter. These past 3 years were a blessing, you lived as a family. Fortunately during the 10 years Jason allowed you to visit your daughter but nothing more than that. Within 3 years you managed to earn his trust but now you knew you broke it just because you couldn’t control your thirst for a stupid drug.

“Was it a mistaken that I took her back into my life buddy?” Jason was talking to the deadman across the seat “I mean, I wanted Octavia to grow up with her mom that was why I decided to patch things up and she was showing improvements. I was so stupid to not see the signs that she was falling back to her old habits.” Jason gulped down on bourbon. “Maybe if i wasn’t so blind I would still have Octavia.” He bit his lips as tears fell from his eyes “I would still have her.” he couldn’t help but breakdown. It didn’t affect his ego much as he was sobbing in a bar full of deadman.

“Did you like the game, sweetie?” Jason asked his daughter whom he was carrying since she was too tired to walk. “Yeah! It was awesome!” she giggled. Jason smiled and kissed her cheek before setting her down. He pulled the keys out from his pocket and unlocked the door. He walked in, holding Octativa’s hand but stopped in his tracks as he saw the broken glasses and the chairs turned upside down. Someone had broken in. Jason heard a scream and quickly ran towards the voice. A man was holding a gun towards his wife’s head. “Octative, go to your room sweetie. Daddy will be right back.” He called out and she did just that without questioning.

“Hey, why don’t you put down the gun and we can talk about this.” Jason said slowly as he raised his hands up in surrender mood. You were shaking and tears were rolling down your face. You were in fear. “No! This bitch owes me money!” The guy with a gun yelled as he forced the tip of the gun closer to your head. You tried to escape the man but his grip on you was so tight, you knew you already had bruises. “Alright, alright. I will pay you. The safe box is right in the closet. I will go get it.” Jason slowly walked towards the closet and punched the numbers to the safebox. He pulled out the gun from the safebox and quickly aimed at the guy, shooting at his arm. The guy groaned in pain and let you go. You coughed then gasped for air as you was released from his grip. You fell to the floor and stayed down so that you will not get caught in the crossfire.

The guy attempted to shoot Jason but missed as Jay dodged the bullet. Jason pulled the trigger sending, another bullet to the guy’s leg. The guy dropped to his knees but before he passed out he managed to pull the trigger once again as his body fell to the ground. The bullet went flying straight to your chest. You gasped and held on to dear life. “Y/N!” Jason dropped to his knees and took you in his arms “H-hey, stay with me alright.” He said in desperation. He felt his world turning upside down. How could he not protect his own wife? “This is all my fault.” He shook his head in disbelief. “H-hey.. Shh, you did the best to save me.” you gently placed a hand on his cheek, your voice cracking as you spoke. “At least..” You caught your breath. You knew you were at your last straw. At least you got to see your husband’s face before you left. You deserved this. He was a loving man but you were too obsessed with drugs to see his worth. “You won’t have a drug addict wife to look after..” You gave him a small smile before shutting your eyes, you hand sliding down his face as it hits the floor with a thud. “No, no, no!” Jason shook your body as tears flooded his eyes. “C’mon, wake up. I told you to stay with me!” At this point he was shouting at your lifeless body. “You were never a burden.” he kissed your head before he rest his forehead against yours as tears rolled down his cheeks. Your last words felt like a sting to his heart. He didn’t know he made you feel that way. A burden.

“Daddy? Are you alright?” a small voice creeped to the room. She can’t see this. Jason gently rest your body down and stood up. He felt his legs were too weak to move but he summon all the energy he could. “Hey sweetie.” He greeted his daughter with tears rolling down his cheeks. He gently carried her and hid the horrific scene away from her sight “Is mommy alright?” she asked. He felt his heart clenched when she asked that. What was he going to say? “Y-yes,” he held back the sob, his eyes stinging as he pushed back the feeling down his burning throat “s-she’s just asleep.” he lied.

“They took her away from me. I was not in the right state of mind to raise her.” His words were full of hurt. “But i will get her back, buddy. I still remember how she begged for me to fight for her as they took her away but all i did was face my back to her.” He shook his head. “She doesn’t deserve a father like me. I am a monster.” he looked around at the dead bodies. “Maybe everything will change when i kill your boss.” He pats the dead man’s shoulder then frowned slight as he heard his phone ring. ‘Shipment @ 12am near the docks.’ the message read. “Looks like I will be on my way. Nice chat.” he placed the bottle of bourbon down and exited the bar, shoving the picture down his pocket.

This is why I use guns. It could save a life. Maybe I would be back home with my wife and daughter having dinner together.

That's kinda the point. When you keep secrets from people no matter how noble your intentions like for example trying to hide how horrible your marriage is for you so that your daughter can have a semi normal life will inevitably result in her not trusting you. Stolas did do the right thing but the problem is that he kept secrets from octativa instead of giving her the truth and along with repeatedly letting her down so now she doesn't believe him anymore. Stolas learned the hard way that actions speak louder than words when it comes to relationships.

"Stolas isn't wrong for saving Blitzø" and "Octavia has a right to be mad at Stolas for breking his promise" can co-exist.

Blitzø was about to die in Mastermind. Of course Stolas wasn't gonna let the love of his life die. Octavia was also upset at the thought of being a burden to her dad, thinking she was the reason he needed those anti-depressants. (She wasn't, but that's not the point.)

Ideas on how our cast will potentially develop in season three. May or May not contain spoilers if I turn out to be right.

Millie and loona will take their turns as the immature and irresponsible ones of i.m.p and will be need to be saved by the boys on maybe one or two occasions.

Moxxie and millie will have their first multi episode fight reversing the roles as now stoltiz are the healthy ones but with blitz and stolas guidance as they have learned a lot from their own struggles as a couple help m&m get through their first real rough patch.

Loona will find an enemy she can't directly fight In the form of Vicki (or however you spell her name). Vicki may not be a fighter but as basically a hound verison of velvet she basically has a large portion of the gluttony ring wrapped around her finger and is possibly the toughest opponent a socially stunted young woman trying to make friends like loona could face.

Similarly to m&m the so called perfect couples such as Ozzie and fizz and maybe bee and tex go through their first major struggles as couples.

Vassago will make a little alliance with octativa and try and help her uncover her uncle and mothers little scheme.

Stella and Andy won't stop at ruining octativas relationship with her father but will try and indoctrinate her into their hatred of imps and hounds specifically saying that her friend loona was just a mindless animal and a lapdog for her fathers boyfriend the one he "abandoned" her for and will just do whatever her "owner" says and by extention whatever stolas says. It will sorta work, but octativa is far from stupid she's just angsty and reinforcing the idea that her father left her even if she knows it isn't true still is enough to emotionally hurt her enough into obedience but fear not because Stella's half assed attempts at manipulation give octativa clues as to what her and her brothers plans are.

Crimson some how gets word of millies pregnancy and takes advantage of the fact she's feeling left out to lead her into a trap. Alternatively this can be a vengeful and now blind Ronaldo.

With i.m.ps new hiring spree comes some rather amusing antics.

Millie will eventually find that even if she doesn't do as much field work as she used to and the others don't need a therapist as much as they used to there will always be a place for a seasoned veteran among the the greenhorns and now we have millies bootcamp as a comedy bit.

Speaking of comedy we will be getting a lot more of that season one style comedy but adjusted so that it feels more like work place banter and a lot more friendly.

Moxxie will get to show off his character development by actually turning down an opportunity to get revenge on loona for everything because he knows that making others feel lesser so you can feel better about yourself is the cause of the problem and getting loona back for everything would just be repeating the cycle.

Blitz overall keeps getting more of a winning streak. Eventually becoming the first imp to unlock his full demon form during a massive showdown with Andy and stella.

Andy's master plan was to conspir with the leader of the dhorks (relveaed to be an evil descendent of king solomon) to absorb all of the power of the goetia and even the Paulina to make himself invincible and after the descendent and Andy bicker over who gets the container for all this magic power stella like the selfish and stupid cow she is gets into the way and has the power transfered to her instead gaining a near literal one winged angel form but after they break the container and the power are released stolas gets his back and literally take his power back from his abuser.

Blitz gets badass one liner like "the o is silent now" before finshing off cash, same with moxxie.

Stolas turns goetia law against his father, brother in law and ex wife by showing than now that neither he or his daughter have to marry and produce an heir it has to be one of them and they all start bickering the moment stolas leaves the room.

During the earlier parts of the season Barbie will act as cashes reluctant minion as he is still manulating her and is too much of a scumbag 5o do it himself.

Blitz becoming an icon amoung imps will be a major plot point.

Charile and her hotel will be mentioned at some point in passing.

Striker will get at least one moment where he has the upper hand before being put down for good.

Stolas will learn that perhaps life outside of his gilded cage is what he always wanted.

Octativa and her father will reconnect because by showing that he isn't saving her because he wants forgiveness but rather what's best for her even if she never forgives him stolas shows that he really does love her more than his own wants and wishes.

The series will end with stolitz riding out into the wrath ring sunset to live their best life and as the credits roll we get a series of photos showing where all the cast is now similar to gravity falls. And in a marvel style post credits scene we see blitz and angel dust meeting up and discussing what a crazy few years it's been.

Octativa Dashkov is a Moroi and part of that infamous family that everyone still loves to dislike. Not much happens in court that is not blamed o them, regardless if it is their fault or not (and it rarely is now.) She is the youngest of three, with two older Brothers, though she is closest to Oliver, the middle child. They both have jobs in the Court, and they are both kept quite busy by them. Octavia works in the Guardian Assignment Office, as she always had a better time hanging out with the Dhampir than she ever did the Moroi.

Octavia hated to be seen as weak as a child, and combined with her family name being akin to dirt, she hung out and learned much from the Dhampir who did not mind teaching her how to fight with her fists as she also learned how to fight with her Fire magic. She is fiery, guarded, and not so quick to trust. And she doesn't have a Guardian, something that upsets her Brother greatly. She doesn't want one, and she has used her position in the office to always push her name back when it came to assignments.

So, either by her brother going over her head to her boss, or by her bosses noticing that she has not got one, Octavia will be assigned a Guardian.

Here comes Theo (only calling him that, as name will be entirely up to you.) He will be assigned to watch her back. They may know one another, or maybe have never met before, we can play it by ear and by what we can come up with between us.

Now, romance would be nice, as well as the possibility of them continuing on as an affair in the future as she would be expected to marry, but these are things we can discuss in the future. His name, age, background and personality type is entirely up to you. Really, the only thing I ask is that he be played by Theo James and there be a good possibility of a romance, though that will come down to their personality types.

Octavia’s next level dictatorship is now lying to manipulate to her people against Madi and the flame

so I've heard theories that blitz will have to Chase a runaway stolas through all seven rings so let me add to that.

Loona will try to track him by scent and bond with her dad's as well as try to consel stolas about octativa but he's too upset to listen to her and will call her out on the fact that up until recently she hasn't exactly been a great daughter.

The stolas himself will get attacked by a gang of imps and/or hounds who want to pummel a blueblood without repercussion.

The envy ring will be the major site of all "high society" products and machinations for hell and glitz and glam will make cameo appearances.

M&m will split up to cover more ground but will be hesitant at first both due to her Nevours about moxxie going alone (part of her learning that she doesn't need to take of everyone) as well as her fears of her pregnancy which is coming on a lot faster than she would have liked making her even more scared now that she doesn't have a lot of time to make her choice.

the episode will end with a tearfully blitz telling his boyfriend that he knows what it's like to feel worthless and a burden and revaling some details about his origin.

Barbie will make an appearance as a bad influence on stolas as she is still brought into cashes lies.
