Getting blocked immediately after pointing out how saying it's abusive for people to be upset that their very existence is being demonized in spaces supposedly for trauma victims is straight up victim blaming is so funny LOL
Like way to show you don't give a flying fuck about what trauma victims have to say the second we have a disorder that isn't palatable and don't let ourselves get walked all over for it

It really makes me so damn angry how many autistic/ADHD people treat the neurodivergent label as the autism+adhd label. Neurodivergent includes ANYONE who's brain doesn't work the way it's supposed to. This includes people that have learning disabilities. People with down's syndrome. People with cluster A, B and C disorders. That includes systems/people with DID, that includes schizophrenics, that includes people with PTSD. If you have a group that is labeled for neurodivergent people, you cannot act surprised or offended if people that don't have autism or ADHD but DO have other disorders join that group. Because neurodivergent is an umbrella term. And everyone under that umbrella term deserves to be able to find community in groups named with that umbrella term.

The pop psychology idea of psychopaths and sociopaths persists for the same reason people buy into the idea of “narcissistic abuse”, and the same reason psychotic or plural killers are such a common trope. People who don’t fit into those groups find comfort in the idea that people only harm others because they’re mentally ill or neurodivergent, because it means that all they have to do is learn how to recognize those neurodivergences and they’ll be safe. If they can recognize a psychopath or psychotic person, they’ll never be murdered, if they can recognize a narcissist they’ll never be abused again. It’s an attempt to make a terrifying world feel safer
Which doesn’t make it okay to buy into or spread these ideas. Mentally ill people aren’t actually the reason the world is terrifying, and learning how to spot us isn’t going to keep you safe. If anything, it’s going to put us in danger because now everyone thinks that having low/no empathy or a personality disorder or psychosis or being plural makes you unsafe to be around. People are afraid of us, they think hurting us counts as self-defense. And I’m sorry, but your feelings of safety do not outweigh our actual safety

Hey so I randomly thought of how stigmatized a particular group of mental illnesses still are, even in the community of people who go "we're accepting of mental illness ❤️". That group being Cluster B personality disorders. It's honestly really irritating sometimes when I think about it, especially because I do have family members that are in the Cluster B community, even if I'm not myself (at least, my therapist hasn't brought it up to me and I have no reason to suspect I am). It's genuinely so hard to find information on Cluster B disorders that either isn't a medical paper filled with confusing terminology, includes pop psychology terminology, or doesn't stigmatize the community further, that I sometimes feel like I don't even know my family members well enough to support them through their struggles. Which is DEPRESSING AF to think about.
I just want to let my followers and any who see this post know that this blog is accepting and actively trying to learn the TRUTHS about Cluster B disorders, especially from the people who have them. I may mess up from time to time and say something stupid, but it's not from malice or hatred, just me genuinely not knowing. It especially doesn't help that it's so stigmatized and pop psychology terminology is unfortunately a thing, one so common I've found many websites that claim to be made by psychologists using these terms despite them not being officially recognized or made to grift people. As much as I may be accepting, I wouldn't be a safe space if I wasn't willing to learn about the people I want to provide a safe space for. And luckily, I've always been a curious person, so I'm more than willing.
If I ever do say something, don't be afraid to correct me, since I'm always willing to learn from mistakes and learn about other people (in fact I'm sure I've messed up a few times already, just statistically with how common those people psych terms are I'm bound to have mistaken one as being real..). I just don't actively ask people because I don't want to be someone who's going around asking too personal questions on accident. Going around and asking people about their mental or physical health isn't the best way to make someone feel safe, but so many people seem to think it is for some reason. So here's my invitation to correct me if you feel comfortable doing so, I'll be happy to hear from you!
If anybody who doesn't have a Cluster B personality disorder but are accepting and open to learning more about people who do want to, you can reblog this post.
I'm not usually one of those people who make posts saying "reblog this post if [blank]" since I know I'd feel like I'm reblog baiting, so I'm not going to word it like that. However, I genuinely do want people to find their safe spaces and for others to learn how they can make their blogs feel safe by actually listening to people in the Cluster B community and not articles that may, unintentionally or not, stigmatize them. I feel it's important for people to be able to feel safe with a good variety of people regardless of their mental or physical health status, but it's also good to let people know if you're a safe space for them but aren't a part of their community, in case they have had bad experiences and aren't ready or don't feel comfortable interacting yet.

Hey I don't usually post serious stuff but I want to use my platform to speak up about the scandal happening in Germany right now.
If you're able to take your time to read this article then please do. Here's a short summary of what's going on however;
Correktiv a group of independent researchers and journalists went undercover into the right wing scene in Germany and they discovered something big. If you're German I'd definitely recommend reading this article. If you're able to translate it I'd also recommend reading it because this is insane.
On November 25th people from Correktiv went into a secret meeting from right wing people in Germany. Some of the people who were at the meeting, were people who are from the right wing party. One of them was even the right hand man of the leader of the party Alice Weidel. They had people who work finance, had lawyers, had doctors, had all types of people.
All of them were making sinister plans on how to get rid of non ethnically German people in Germany, no matter if you have German citizenship, no matter if you were born in Germany, if you are not ethnically German they want you out. That is their plan.
They talked about possible methods as well on how to get rid of us so that this goal could be accomplished. A lot of these people are millionaires, seriously influential people, that are coming together in a secret meeting to discuss how to get rid of every single immigrant and send them to Africa.
They Firstly want to start with everybody that lives in Germany but doesn't have a German citizenship yet, as they're quote on quote the easiest to get rid of. Then they want to get rid of those immigrants that were born and raised in Germany and also have a German citizenship, but happen to not be ethnically German. This is one of the secret meeting and it just leaves me wondering how many there are.
The right wing extremism has been on a rise in Germany once again. They're one of the most powerful parties right now. History repeats itself again.
The only thing I ask of you to do is spread the news and sign this petition.

my most controversial opinion still is probably that i do not agree with all those posts about how no one should ever use the word narcissist in the way it was used for hundreds of years due to its actual origin in a literal greek myth because of a very recent (80s) psychiatric label. like i cannot stress enough how the psychiatric terminology and diagnostic system is the source of the harm and stigma not the word narcissist being used to mean what most people know it to mean

PLEASE can we please pretty please stop acting like not getting help is a choice and a moral failure, and also like people with unfavorable mental illness/pd symptoms like anger problems, s/h, sui thoughts, eating disorders, persecutor alters, severe depression, are just Edgy and dont deserve compassion until they get help. please, im literally begging. like why do the people whove been through so much in our society get treated the worst.

Hi! I know there's a lot happening rn so dw about answering quick. But if you have any resources on npd or cluster b disorders in general I would be really grateful if you shared them. I want to be able to know what I'm talking about when having the hard conversation that narcissistic abuse is a harmful concept and that people with npd aren't all abusive or bad. Thanks! Love your blog
Hi!
Here's a link to a post I made a while back with some more affirming BPD resources.
Here's a link to a blog post dismantling stigma and myths about NPD.
Here's an article addressing cultural bias in the treatment of personality disorders that's analyzing a recent study and might have some helpful sources.
If followers have any helpful resources to add on, please do!

relatable npd moment: there is this person in my friend group who I hate with a burning passion ( for valid reasons I'm not the only one who has gripes w/ them ) but one of their biggest Issues is that despite being self aware of their problems they refuse to work on any because it scares them. this is exactly what I do but I've made up a web of excuses so that I'm better than them anyway
