◇ Blitzø basically started I.M.P. to support him and Loona since Verosika basically has her own money but uses some of it to support Blitzø's business.

•The emoloyees•

Millie- Blitzø met Millie during a trip in the Wrath ring. His van broke down and Millie's family basically took them (blitzø, Verosika and loona) in until the van is fixed. He told the family about his business and Millie was somewhat intrigued. She always wanted to see what earth looked like. So, she went with blitzø and became his first employee.

•The pilot•

The pilot starts with millie and blitzø figuring out how can they go to the living world and start their business since they don't know how to build a portal. Blitzø considers visiting his old friend the goetia prince himself, Stolas. He's quite scared to visit him since they weren't in good terms and if you weren't with good terms with the prince, you are up for a good ol' beheading. He tells his fears to Millie and Millie then tells him to face his fears (blah blah you get it) and lifts him towards the company van.

The rest of the pilot follows the three, Blitzø, Millie and Loona to the goetia prince's palace while also fighting some sinners on the way (woo bloodshed!!!!), and getting distracted by a carnival. They fight demons there too( woo bloodshed part 2!!!). After a few hours later, they finally arrive at the palace. They are greeted by the prince Stolas himself and gestures them to come in. Millie and Loona basically had fun in the palace, meeting and chatting with Stella, Stolas' wife, and Octavia, the daughter. While the females are having fun, Stolas pulls Blitzø aside and had a talk with him. Stolas agreed to lend him the book, much to Blitzø's relief, BUT on one condition. He gives Stolas his own soul, which means, the prince can do ANYTHING with Blitzø,(this is where the sex deal comes in)basically making him his very own puppet. Blitzø refuses at first but stolas threatens on beheading Blitzø, so, he agrees, much to a satisfied Stolas. Blitzø then exits the room, greeted by Millie and Loona. Millie asks him what's wrong but he brushes it off. Millie accepts his answer but is still suspicious about Blitzø. They go home and drink some whiskey and watched a movie. Blitzø is still paranoid about the deal.

Some days I wake up, and I remember the horror of Stella’s existence. I remember how since childhood Stella has been valued by her family only as a future wife and baby incubator to marry off to benefit them. I remember how her brother dehumanizes her and reduces her to her beauty. I remember how she never had a future with a lover and home she could choose for herself. I remember how being married to St*las means she doesn’t own a home of her own, her home is his. I remember how she was forced to become pregnant as soon as she hit 18. I remember how Paimon and her own family made her have to have sex with a man who didn’t want to even look at her as she did it.

I remember everything the arranged marriage entails for her and not just St*las. And then I remember that Helluva Boss decided to, instead of focusing on the horror and tragedy for both parties involved, decided to make her a one note simple villain. Just a mean bitch for no reason.

And I resolve that I’m going to rewrite Stella in my head, and I’m going to fragrantly and unapologetically love her no matter how much St*las stans cry about it. To write THAT kind of character as a one note bitch who is spiteful for “no reason” is a fucking joke.

As much as I still love Fizz, I don't like how Vizize has a habit of 'woobie-izng' her characters in order to make them sympathetic. A character can still be an asshole while the audience can still have sympathy for them, or at least understand that they're in a bad situation (Starscream from Transformers is one good example depending on who's writing him).

Taking away someone's bite/nerfing them and turning them into a sad boi isn't good writing, it's just lazy.

It's absolutely soul-crushing how the industry treats animation so badly that we've gone from the industry standard season of animated television being 20-30 episodes long to 10-12 episodes long. Like think about how many episodes were in seasons of Adventure Time in 2011. And now think of how many episodes were in Hazbin Hotel. This post isn't specifically about Hazbin, but I watched that recently so it's what I'm going to talk about. Hazbin Hotel is 8 episodes long. That is so fucking depressing for many reasons. It signals to me that the industry standard for animation is only getting worse, people have waited almost a decade for this show to come out only to be disappointed with the almost painfully short run time. On top of that season 2 supposedly won't come out until 2027. Too many showrunners already have to work under this immense pressure nowadays to fit everything they want into a 12 episode season, which is already ludicrous to me, but an 8 episode season??? It feels like Amazon set the show up to fail. Watching the show, it felt like the writers panicked because they didn't know if they would be able to develop every character properly (which is to some degree on them as writers for not shortening the main cast or only focusing on 2 or 3 leads, but the stupid short number of episodes ordered did not help them) which leads to the entire show feeling way too fast paced and rushed. I hope we can get out of this rut, I'm excited to see where this show goes but the way it was handled leaves me feeling grim towards the state of cartoons as a whole.

(only for a few episodes, I had raw hatred for every single character in it)

(Only for a few episodes, mighty Christ, how I hate the Dutton family except for their abused lawyer/ slave)

(the first show I regretted watching as I got older, not a single likable or interesting character in there- kill em all)

-American Horror Story after HOTEL

(only the teasers & intros are good after that)

Shows like Velma & Big Mouth were way too obvious- those shows are so bad that it’s not even worth making fun of ‘em.

…Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are on the thinnest ice you can imagine.

Watch Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Fargo (the movie & the show), The Sopranos, True Detective (seasons 1 & 4), I Think You Should Leave, The Boys, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Cuphead Show, & The Regular Show instead.

i REALLY fucking hope that the millie episode is going to have a content warning for suicide/suicidal ideation, esp since 1. their current content warnings are vague and condescending as it is, 2. that Cherubs episode sure didn't have one

Okay I love hazbin hotel, I really do. I love the characters, I love the song. But I’m willing to admit that it have flaws and one of it being the pacing.

And ngl I think I found out why and it’s because numerous reason

Production. When Hazbin got confirmed for season 1 for all we could know the team only know that they get 8 episodes and that’s it. They don’t know about season 2 yet so either they got confirmed for season 2 when season 1 already out into work to the point there no fixing the script, or season 1 is don’t in production stage going to post when season 2 is confirmed. Giving benefit of the doubt there’s a certain panic to explain everything to the fandom so it’s just plot point after plot point being stuffed in one season without time to breathe.

Episode. This involved with the previous reason because if you happen to live under a rock, for some reason there seem to be a trend in shorten episodes seasons. It went from 26-25 to 12-15 and now less than 10. There’s not enough time to develop a character to the fullest. It seem rush because with the pressure from fandom and the uncertainty of confirmed seasons.

Lastly, it written like a musical but have TV show concepts. I feel like this is most confusing and might just be me so lemme explain. Hazbin hotel from ep 1 to 6 feel like a one whole musical where they kinda have to rush it a little? Cause musicals usually have 2 Maybe 3 hours and 40-50% of it are songs so you have to rush throughout the dialogue a little bit and let songs expressed the characters the most. I feel like this is what the show been doing, it rush through the dialogue and development to throw all the emotions we supposed to feel in songs and don’t get me wrong if it have one theme, one major problem like a musical it would work. However, Hazbin have all these problems, heaven forces, Lilith and Alastor sudden disappearance, the Vees, Angel’s arc, Charlie’s arc etc etc it all isn’t a minor problems like “oh these kids wanna be respected and accepted as they are” in School of rock or “this demigod lost his mojo” like in Moana. These problems are all main problem worthy and most of the time tv series have time to deal with this. Maybe one season address one of those problems, maybe one season have 2 main problems for first and later half. And so when you have musical writing with mostly songs where you need to have concise story but instead have tv series concept with multiple arcs what you get is a story that feel rush

Lovesart23 art made another redesign video, this time regarding Stolas and his family. She did Stella today, and will do the rest eventually. I really like this Stella redesign of hers, aside from the pink. I am just….personally done with the color pink lol, I’ve seen it everywhere and it gives me a headache, but obliviously I can see why she chose it, that’s just me lol. I love the other colors, specifically the green eyes.

As I’ve said before her videos are very enjoyable to watch for me, I love how she puts thought and effort into every redesign, taking inspiration from the characters backgrounds, animals, ect, and visually telling us things about the characters in their said designs. Can’t wait to see more.

My thoughts:

First of all it's actually good? It shows the ACTUAL plot of the show(that somehow flew away like a bird) and I enjoyed it! (And there are people who said if the show followed the original plot it will be boring like shut up).

Second of all, why would the crystal need lust to activate it???? The incubus guy and Barbie Wire from the Unhappy Campers episode didn't need lust to make the crystal work??? So??? Viv. What. Was. That.

Also blitz needs some help with his feelings. The damage St*las did to this man goddamn.

Literally the only "good" thing about Stolitz is Loona getting the possible chance to be a big sister. But even then, we'd just be exposing poor Octavia to another toxic marriage (and one that already ruined her first family mind you), and then Loona having to now put up the whole step parent drama. Them being honorary sisters separate from this mess would work much better.
