Dillonogoo is making his own indie series, that’s great to hear. It’s been a while since I watched him. I remember watching his Demon slayer and My Hero Academia 3D cats animations. I watched the trailer and it’s practically right up my alley.

The voice acting and animation is superb. The premise is devious (in a good way), all this over a drink and a receipt 😭. The demons’ design is so cool too! I like how abstract and angular they are. I’ll definitely check its pilot (when it’s completed).

Ozzie and Mammon give total bitter ex vibes but we know Viv will be too much of a coward to make them so because she doesn't find it hot.

So, does Viv realize the more she recons, the more of a mess the lore and what was already established is only going to make things more confusing? I don't know how Mission Zero is gonna play out but the fact that she's trying so hard to make Stolas come across as this 'soft boy' and TELLING us he loves blitzo when the show SHOWS otherwise only makes him more insufferable. No recon or gaslighting is gonna change that.

aka I'm a poor bitch in need of money.

This is to test the waters mostly but here's the gist: I am low income and on disability. I do have a job but they're currently giving me very little hours, if at all. If I'm lucky, I get at least 4 hours a week (to note: because I am on SSDI, I am allowed to work up to 20 hours per week and I'm not even getting that). I am currently looking for another job but like most things irl it's been a slow progress.

While I am able to pay the bills (Apartment, way overpriced Internet and a few other services), at the end of month money gets extremely tight where it's hard to buy groceries and other things that are needed to the point I'd have to go to my parents for extra funds. While they have no problem supporting me if necessary, I would like to not rely on them for money if it can be avoided

With these factors in play I thought it'd wouldn't hurt to attempt to open up graphic commissions for tumblr roleplay or whatever you wish to use it for. I may do art commissions in the future if this goes well plus once I figure out pricing for that but right now I'm keeping it at graphics.

Payment methods right now include Paypal, Venmo and Zella. I'm currently working on setting up a Ko-Fi but it isn't ready to go yet. All prices are USD.

General Disclaimer: I'd need examples of aesthetics and/or theme for me to work on your commission. I recommend sending me a moodboard or have a description ready. I can only work with what I'm given. With permission, I may use commission work as examples for product. I will not start on the project until payment is made. ...I don't have much else to say so let's get straight to it, shall we?

Blitz in canon:

I honestly don't have much to say about Blitz both as a character and design.

Character wise, on paper he's fine. I like Blitz for the most part but at the same time he also kinda frustrates me but that comes down to his writing being all over the place. Overall I do think he's an interesting character that's done dirty by the writers which could be said about almost every character in Hellaverse at this point but I digest.

As for his design:

Don't hate it, don't love it. Just...it's a design alright XD Honestly I find a lot of his casual outfits better than his stock outfit:

That's all I have to say but if you don't mind me going on a small rant here for a sec I need to get this off my chest but...

CHRIST ON A BIKE BLITZ'S HOW DOES YOUR HEAD EVEN WORK?!

Drawing this fucker in my style was a challenge considering how Viv's art style has a lot of angles but boy howdy a lot of that frustration came down to how weird of a shape his head is. My first attempt try to translate him to my style I couldn't stop thinking about how much he looked like Beavis from Beavis and Butthead and now I can't unhear his laugh:

However my second go around he came out a bit better. Not one hundred percent sold but at least I no longer hear Beavis' laugh coming out of his mouth.

Okay, time for redesign notes:

I don't have much to say about his character changes because I didn't really change much outside of some of the more unsavory bits of his personality to make him a little more likable but he's still the same character as he is in the show just more consistent. He does grow out of some of his worst quirks he has (stalking the M+Ms, self destructive tendencies, taking more accountability which granted he doesn't have much of a problem to begin with we see him own up plenty of times in the show even if it's written half ass) and grow into a better version of himself. Not a good person but a better person by Hell standards.

As for the redesign itself: I didn't really change much honestly. As I said above I don't dislike his design it just needed a little bit of tweaking. Kept the coat but got rid of those weird puff ball...button things (???) and gave him much smaller skull shaped button. wanted to add some dry blood splatters but forgot. XD

I also redid his scars to look like...well scars being his white spots don't really look like ones (also my first time drawing scars so I'm hoping it came out okay). Blitz is also partly blind in his right eye thanks to fire being if that side of his face got burned it would make sense his eye would have been taken some damage as well. It doesn't effect his marksmanship skills the slightest though however. Also not seen here but his scars also go down to his lower right arm and side.

I wanted to implant Blitz's Mom's amulet into the design but honestly didn't know how. I didn't want it to be a choker like his OG design however so I decided it'd be his belt buckle even if you can't see it here being the coat is the way. When he takes it off those it's visible.

Annnd that's about it. I plan on drawing Loona once I return from my folk's place this weekend so that will be next. I still got to finish up my Wrath Ring post but I'll try to do that when I get home as well...

I feel bad for Blitz. He's not a piece of shit like Bojack.

Blitz genuinely loves Loona and sees her as a daughter and does whatever he cane to protect her and offer her emotional support while Bojack let Hollyhock get drugged and he fucked Sarah Lynn and let her die to save his ass.

Blitz felt so awful about what happened to Fizz and tried reaching out, but others stopped it while Bojack fucked random people he worked with while Herb was forgotten until he was dying from cancer.

Blitz let's Stolas do whatever he wants to him so it can keep his friends and daughter employed while Princess Carolyn was a mommy BJ wanted to sleep with who had to always clean up his messes.

Does Viv really think some guy who has shown genuine kindness is a piece of shit like some guy who stomped on everyone he could?

Sure Blitz is foul tongued and he's an asshole at times, but theres a big difference between being a jerk than actively harming others because you have power over them and you do it for your own personal gain.

Like jeez, Blitz was literally the light to Moxxie and Loona while Bojack was the darkness to Hollyhock, Penny, Sarah Lynn and even Diane.

All of this. Blitzo might be a terrible boss and an asshole, but he's a goddamn saint next to BoJack and doesn't deserve a tenth of the abuse this show heaps on him for not groveling to his rapist sufficiently.

Stolas' Design and Personality in canon:

I'm not going to talk much about his design being I believe it's universally agreed on in the critical community that it sucks ass. Just about everything about it just doesn't scream royalty. The elements are there, but in translation it does not work. I also have it out for Viv's characters with top hats. Why top hats? Also the crown with it is dumb.

Honestly, I feel like the outfit he had in Ozzie's or one of the frames on the wall of him in The Circus (which I took heavy inspiration from if you couldn't tell lol) feel more royal than whatever onesie Halloween custom quality horror show he wears now.

Really his outfit is the least of my issues with Stolas.

Let me keep this simple because otherwise we'll be here forever:

I. Hate. THIS MOTHERFUCKING OWL!!

I might as well copy and paste that AM quote from I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream with a few edits because I can't think of a better quote to sum up my hatred for this character.

I didn't mind him in the first season; dare I say I saw an interesting character and in Ozzie's after Blitzo called him out I honestly thought the show was going to have him take accountability for his actions and grow as a person. It made me excited for the second season where they plan on taking his character and the direction the show planned on going.

WELL FUCK ME I GUESS IF I AND OTHERS THOUGHT THE SHOW WAS GOING TO DIVE DEEPLY INTO STOLTIZ IN AN INTERESTING WAY BECAUSE NOPE STOLAS IS A 'SAD BOI' NOW WHO IS A VICTIM OF EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE!!

Honestly, this shift was just baffling to me; not to mention how the show's focus from I.M.P to Blitzo and Stolas' relationship with every yaoi fanfiction trope known to man was the worst direction the show could have gone. People came for the silly demon assassin show, not this melodrama wank. It isn't even GOOD melodrama. Hell, they're relationship isn't even interesting; and whatever way it could be doesn't work being none of them have chemistry. Stolas knows NOTHING about Blitzo as a person with the expectation of how good in bed he is and never once did we see him trying to get to know him better. All the show ever did was make it clear that Blitzo should get a restraining order against this asshole or took Striker's offer.

I hate this immature, gaslighting whiney little fucker who treats everyone like shit and rather play the victim than take responsibility for his actions and those he hurt. I hate Stolas! I hate this character with a burning passion. I never hated a character so much as Stolas, not ever. I hope he looses everything he still has and never gets it back but we know that's not going to happen he'll get everything he wants on a sliver plater because it's FUCKING STOLAS!!

*deep inhale*

I can go on and on bout how much Stolas is also a bad dad, a bad partner and how the narrative makes everyone seem worst and even sometimes out of character to make him look better but if I do that we'll be here all day otherwise.

TL;DR version: Stolas sucks and the show focusing on him as much as he did and bending over backwards for him narratively is one of the reasons why I stopped watching this show.

Anyways, let's get to my redesgin/rework notes...

Stolas' Redesign and Notes:

As I said: I was heavy inspired (or maybe copied it with just a few changes. the outfit spoke to me okay!) of one of the frames on the wall of him from The Circus while also taking inspiration from the cape he had from Ozzie's. I wanted it to have a bit of MCU Doctor Strange vibes to it but not sure if it translated well here but considering I'm more than likely going to revisit Stolas design a tad down the line I'll see if I could play with it a bit.

I originally wanted to give him a crown but I didn't really felt it fit with his outfit here. He does have one though and what he's wearing here is more of a 'casual' get up being I plan on giving him a more regal outfit that he wears at high ranking Aerius/Ars Goetia events, coronations and when he must appear in a setting where his role as a prince is needed.

Stolas is suppose to be based off a horned owl (at least I believe so being Paimon def is) but his OG design doesn't really show that. I may do more with his 'horns' when I do a revisit but otherwise...yeah.

Also gave him blue eyes. I've seen edits where people made his eyes blue and I kinda dig it. That and I feel the demons need more diversely than eyes being just yellow, green and red.

Personality wise, I decided not to go in the villain direction like the pilot (though some traits are there) but from Stolas' instagram pre-Murder Family because I feel Vivienne was attempting to do in season two however it falls flat because you basically tried to recon who Stolas was in season one yet all you did trying to make it seem he 'loved' Blitzo the whole time only made their relationship even more fucked when you put in the fact they were 'Childhood Firends' (they aren't they hanged out for one day) and yet still coerced him into a sexual relationship and used his power over him because without the book, Blitzo couldn't do his job or pay his employees. Stolas never takes accountability or ever even apologizes to him about that though. Not once. And he continues to talk down to him even when gaslighting him he never once did along with playing the victim and all that fun manipulative stuff. And even once Blitz gives him the loving romantic relationship and bending over backwards to the point he's ooc just as Stolas wanted in Sinmas after he lost everything, it's still not enough.

This is not love. This is obsession. In canon: Blitzo is a novelty to Stolas and that novelty is starting to wear off if his actions in the last episode is any indication.

I talked about my version of Stolas and Blitzo's relationship a bit already and it haven't changed much since that last post. They already have a foundation working together for about two years now, even if that foundation a bit of a messy one. There's no deal like the Full Moon going on, however Stolas is I.M.P's benefactor in where he's allowing Blitzo to use his grimoire in exchange of doing some 'odd jobs' for him time to time that are 'off the book' so to speak but otherwise there's nothing really truly malicious (at least by Hell's standards) happens to be going on.

Stolas does respect Blitzo, power dynamitic and being a bit out of touch with anything outside the world he grew up in aside. there is a trust between them, even if Blitzo does think Stolas may have some ulterior motive with helping I.M.P out outside of doing some dirty work. The two even enjoy each other's company more than they may lean on if them hanging out outside of business is any indentation.

I haven't fully decided in how I want to handled Stoltiz in my story yet outside of it not being endgame but it'll likely just be a 'didn't end up working out' with the two still being on good terms even after the break up because yeah, sometimes relationships don't work out and that's normal.

Outside of the whole relationship thing however: Stolas is a very curious being; always seeking knowledge known and ones lost to time, his specialty being in astronomy, herbs and special stones. His Grimoire possesses magic few understand without intense study while also wielding the power to predict prophecies. The Grimoire is gonna be playing a huge role in my rewrite and it kind of has a mind of it's own in a sense.

I'm sure there's more things I could talk about but this post is getting long as it is and I just kinda want to wrap this up so I can work on other things...

Not sure what will be next. It'll be either Blitz and Loona, The Wrath Ring or maybe a revisit redesign we'll see...
