Why the lens of NPD makes Blixer the funniest possible character.

NPD standing for, obviously, Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Lets get a few things out of the way. Mainly that I do not aim for this to be a demonising lens. Moreso a "hey if i was in this circle's situation id do the same". Villains being vain, narcissistic abusers is a very, very common trend, even in media that claims it is more progressive than it actually is. This isn't being written to show why Blixer is evil, but how he does everything.

Secondly. A crown on a narcissist is usually just an easy sign to go "this guy's a narcissist". Most clipart you see for "surviving narcissists" has one guy looking into the mirror, and the mirror self having a crown and being cool and evil and whatever. This sucks for obvious reasons (its a disorder. normal people have disorders, not evil kings?), but it is also a REALLY GOOD symbol to 'reclaim'. I personally love it.

Why is this circle so fucking angry?

A pretty frequent feature in the NPD package is when anything that feels like an attack on you is one. It's not an accident, that person was trying to sabotage you. In a JS&B lens, this helps explain two key moments.

Why Blixer didn't really enjoy the player at the start of the game (exploded, plus the lost chapter stuff). If you've been in a cave for one morbillion years or whatever, and someone just Dodges All Your Attacks and then walks away when you explode, it'd be pretty infuriating. Also why this guy beat up an innocent bystander. Fly high, flower.

Annihilate. This is actually the biggest one for me. Your whole little evil pink kingdom just got fucking destroyed, and then the person who did so takes a representation of your ego and just goes "hey this is mine now :-)". When NPD makes you maladaptively regulate self esteem AND you just got insulted (in your eyes) in every way possible, you might get a little upset. You might become a blood centipede monster. I would too.

He doesn't do that much bad stuff directly.

Most of the issues ingame seemingly happen from the giant industry + tower he spawned and the corruption in general. Other than beating the shit out of a guy (we don't care about them) in the opening cutscene, he really doesn't do all that much in person until the player appears.

Why? What is he doing? We all know this. He is playing guitar on top of the tower for most of the game. This is someone who finally got the ego boost / supply he needed and then had fun with his own hobbies. From the lens of "guy who feels like he needs to literally rule the world to be seen and understood."

But he still did all that shit.

He still corrupted the world though. Which was probably a bad thing. However. If all your AUs are going to make it so he originally felt isolation over the corruption, then I raise you this:

Being an absolute nobody is the worst feeling in the world.

And as soon as he took over the world and basically forced everyone to call him his king, then and only then did he just start having fun and #playing. A possible way to frame this is him being too stupid to effectively rule over the world, but I don't think thats fun.

If his main goal was to make it so he was the centre of attention AND that everyone was like him (pink (which is called bad in a fucking In-Game Tip)) then he would've basically won already in his own head by the time the game fully starts. And he can finally do regular people - shape - things. He did all that stuff, but clearly this geometric circle didn't really have any other option considering he got so pissed off he made the world evil and that's hard to come back from.

Also it's important to mention that during the moment where he actually kind of Takes Over The World he's definitely not thinking rationally after eating the tree of life.

I think he took the world takeover thing too seriously.

Or maybe not seriously enough. Depends on how you look at it.

This is me mostly making fun of this circle but can you imagine getting all this power, and the first thing you do is take over the world. That's normal. The second thing you do is make yourself a crown. Okay. The third thing you do is absolutely nothing else. He seems more focused on the image of a ruler than anything.

If everything went right, he would have even had a sign showing he was the actual final boss. Which becomes a funny meta example where that level isn't even the actual final boss and instead he (it's his tower's sign, after all) put all that work towards the image of a final boss rather than actually being one. Although this doesn't hold much weight when we consider that he became a cannon just to kill us, I think he tried pretty hard.

Why not just fix what you've done, Blixer?

Admitting you're wrong and also getting rid of the only thing keeping your ego afloat isn't easy. In fact, it's genuinely painful. If he managed to actually calm down after basically eating the energy equivalent of a hydrogen bomb, then it'd kind of be almost impossible to look at all you did and say "damn, I was wrong".

It's easier to actually know you did something wrong when the consequences hit you and you can't do anything else but accept what you did. Postgame fans write that down.

Him learning and growing to be a better person would be awesome if it's also from the lens of NPD.

If fucking Kuzco (of Disney fame) could do it he could too. NPD is a disorder and thus has disordering traits, but I do think working with this for the character kind of helps when it comes to improving it in postgame stories. He starts off with basically NO ways to work with what are life-shatteringly important needs, and does maladaptive things in order to help.

Anger? Lashing out at people that Slighted him. Being a vain little prick? Trying to keep himself on a pedestal before it crumbles underneath him. Turning yourself into a blood centipede nightmare monster? A reasonable* reaction in his perspective.

You can learn to care about people's thoughts even if you started off. Um. Taking over the world.

There's a lot more to NPD than being an evil person and abuser. Starting off with no empathy doesn't really mean a death sentence. You can have him learn helping others is Good Actually but still slip up. Imagine a beautiful world with a postgame Blixer who has friends now and still has NPD. Imagine. If he's still pink and "corrupted" while being good, you can understand a world where he can be narcissistic and still be good.

I can take you to that world 🕊️ 🌾 🌹 ☀️...

Finally: NPD is a comedic disorder

It's true. Sometimes the world feels like it breaks apart because you are being Unloved and potentially hated. Not EVERYONE likes you, and that makes the world feel like it's being torn apart at the seams. You go from feeling at the top of the world to feeling like shit.

And then as soon as you're back up and running you look back at that and go "hmm. maybe not as serious as i thought".

You can do so much with this. There's more to NPD than what the masses know. "guy who literally did all this to be cool to himself" is just an insanely funny concept to me. He could've just been at the club.

NPD isn't always about physical vanity unlike what clipart tells you. It's about Pretty Unsafe levels of self esteem (from high highs to low crashes), and him fitting the bill makes him feel like a more interesting character to me.

- i actually would like to see nickel apologize. i trust them to not have suitcase forgive his ass at all but after everything he put her through, she deserves that closure!

- on that note, what about suitcase and baseballs relationship now? i think the thing is that even up to the end, baseball still didnt fully understand suitcase. even if he understood why she left the alliance, he still believes her to be a victim of circumstance when it came to voting nickel out, and then he assumed himself to be a source of anxiety for suitcase and didn't let her talk after she chose knife as her final competitor. i don't think its OVER for them as friends especially since baseballs learned he can't give up trying even when he fails, but i do think its another obstacle in their rocky relationship. yeesh you two this is awkward

- also ALSO i would like to see baseball and balloon interact?. they hardly interacted on the grand slams and while baseball did side with nickel in the plot to get him out, he still wanted suitcase to have him as a friend if thats what she wanted. overall he doesn't seem to dislike balloon, at all? cant really say how balloon sees him. but i wanna See

- the complications in fan and test tubes relationship with bot, we've already seen some of it with bot going against test tube when it came to cabby, but im talking more about bot resenting them for the way they were made. i mean i would also like to see fans positive relationship as well since we've mostly only seen test tubes side of things, but when it comes to both of them i wanna see how that resentment might interfere with bots relationship to them. bot genuinely does seem to desire having them in their life, but what now? part of me wonders if finding out that they (unknowingly) perpetuated a cycle of abuse through bot would also affect this, and also how.

- SPEAKING OF THE CYCLE !!!!!! (<-rain world fans when theres a cycle) i really want to see how the contestants process their entire existence being for a gameshow. like, none of them have parents, they just spawned into the world thinking death wasnt such a huge deal because they could be revived (until now). they're some guys coping mechanism. yeah sure they can now make their lives their own, but they aren't NORMAL. thats kinda fucked when you think about it

- salt character development please please please oh please. the thing thats really interesting about salt is that she's one of the very few who hasn't broken from her "code" so to speak. i really do think the only thing that's going to cause her to do that (as hinted at by brian? or at least how i interpreted it) is if pepper gets fed up with her acting like the world revolves around her. pepper is just as much salts other half as salt is peppers, the only thing is, salt doesn't realize that because she's the "trendsetter" and peppers the "follower". it also doesn't seem like anyone else actually likes her at this point either, so if she loses pepper for a bit its really gonna force her to reevaluate her entire life.

- on that note this is a personal headcanon ive come up with so im not betting on it happening. but its really good to the point that id like to see it in canon so im putting it here anyways. candlepep friendship? candle has learned she needs to focus on herself rather than the needs of others, but since the contestants have to rebuild from scratch, i could very well see her falling back on old habits and trying to help others and possibly forgetting her own needs. she must feel needed, after all! but then theres pepper. based on my hypothetical above, being without salt is gonna be really tough for her but she's probably gonna have a little more support from others than salt.

However! pepper instinctively feels like she needs someone to "follow", so without salt i could very well see her trying to latch onto others. i feel like seeing someone who's in a similar predicament (both girls needing to center someone else in their lives) might remind candle that she needs to remember her needs and focus on herself. i feel like the two of them could teach eachother something important? meditation involves focusing on yourself and pepper still needs to learn that. as for the other way around, peppers interests are more based on fashion and makeup (and while those are interests that still align with salt) and that kind of practice is most fun when you focus on what makes you personally happy (something candle could learn, focusing on her wants and needs etc). i like the idea of them not necessarily NEEDING eachother but growing to like the other and wanting the other as their friend. either that or their problems clash and it becomes toxic yuri but i think candles had enough. brian koch receive my brain waves...... PLEASEEEE..........

- get funny with the contestants. some of these fuckers havent even SEEN eachother before ii18. i wanna see everyone get screentime if im being honest! i wanna see new friendships form and shit, maybe new rivalries as well! @/br1ghtestlight mentioned teakettle, tissues, lifering and blueberry living together at some point and i really like the idea of that, i can see how they'd work. i do want to be surprised on some small part but honestly, whatever works.

- the ultimate cheer factory (bot, goo, cheesy, cherries, maybe bomb and lightbulb). they'll take over the world

- fluffy payjay affection but i want it in small doses. maybe we see oj holding onto papers arm as they're discussing the new hotel with others, or them going on a gay little date as a b-plot, or calling eachother the dumbest petnames possible. at least one onscreen kissy. i don't hate payjay or anything i love it actually. just small doses or ill explode and die from being a payjay shipper for 7 years

- Mephones Possibly Complicated Healing Journey. i feel like mephones feelings surrounding cobs being dead are a little complicated, on the basis that cobs made him and he's spent most of his life wanting his approval, but he is mostly relieved. the only thing mephone has ever wanted was to be free from him after all! i also want to see more of 3GS, who he is outside of what we've seen of him. i think he'd like flash games on the puter

- knickle scene that lasts more than a minute PLEASE I MISS OUR GAMERS

- knife struggling to adjust to his new life. "its fine, im.... here." yeah sure 🙄 i saw that look on your face i KNOW you gaf. ontop of everything ive already talked about in the past (being a ghost), he now has (accidentally cus he didn't really MEAN to) shoehorned himself into marshmallows life and i dont think she's gonna give up living with bow just cus knife guy is there, but damn thats gotta make things REAL hard for the both of them. i never want to see marsh forgive him for bullying her just cus he saved her life, but i do want to see how they make... living with eachother, work out. i would also like to see us get into the 5 Secret Hints That Knife Probably Doesn't Like Himself Very Much but not at the same time as the marsh stuff probably

- taco adjusting. not only has she had it ROUGH even before the finale, but uh. no one trusts her probably. except for like, mic, and maybe soap. the bfdi x ii shorts arent canon but given the way she acts in that short, i think its easy to expect that shes gonna struggle HARD. on that note more of her and soap, i feel like having them introduced was such a good idea and soap is probably going to be a really good person for taco to have around when shes struggling to do the right thing. i also want her and marsh to talk about mepad but i dont have much else to say besides that

- okay god most of this is specific character interactions. suitcase and pickle become friendsies? please?? pretty pretty please.

- i heavily doubt they'll bring in the recommended characters as characters for real but I would like to see it happen. I think it would be really funny if apple saw teddy bear again and was like "oh hi teddy bear :D I missed you!!!" and teddy bear was like SHUT UP SHUT UP I HATE YOU YOU NEVER SHOULD'VE BEAT ME even though its been years and it hardly matters anymore. I would like to see more of magnifying glass and spikey mervert but I don't have a whole lot to go off of with them, other than mag showing up to the spoiled lemon concert in episode 10 for some reason.

sylnan is circle of shepherd, i felt that it suited him, especially with the idea that he could steal from people with the help of animals, also because he lived with the rats, so,, ykyk,, also the vines can be used to climb stuff because thats cool, i love the guardian spell too, basically you get downed and you can summon a spirit that will attack anything that gets near you, ( even if the spell doesnt attack teammates or non threats its a nice idea for braad to be the only one who can get near him when this happens, and possibly as the party grows together the others can also approach him ) also the vest design is meant to mimic a ribcage, i think i had an idea of why i did this but forgot,, it just looks cool. maybe something to do with his death or his emotions, whos to say

velrisa, college of lore, i thought because she wouldnt be a cleric for weejas, she could be a sort of, storyteller if you will, spreading the word and fighting for her god with music, she still does stuff with undead and whatnot being raised by clerics, but she simply found another way to show that,( maybe she struggled with normal cleric magic also maybe she relates to mountain )

taxi, battle master fighter, it was this or champion, but i feel like it fit what with what we know about his parents, in this he was trained and whatnot, it was probs a gillion tidestrider thing where it was fucked and he throughout the fated travels learns to fight for himself and protect the people he cares about instead of listening to what people told him he should be fighting for. also maybe he could become some sort of champion because its taxi, i love him.

mountain, war domain, like with taxi i was inbetween war domain and death domain, i felt death domain because the death of his wife maybe threw him into that, but i felt that what with mountain being in a fighting ring and meeting his wife there, that war fit better, he is a crazy good fighter and healing also possibly learnt from Hilda and heightened after her death. hes still mountain though so alcholic cleric punch healing and shenanigans, dont think that just because hes a healer now hes devoid of everything that makes mountain, mountain. plus with taxi, maybe hes very involved with helping taxi find his fight, and with vel, she knows about cleric stuff despite not being one so ykyk

I’ll start under the cut!

So, it wasn’t actually Rin’s idea to become a cram school teacher, much less a teacher in the first place! I mean, who would let the spawn of Satan, prince of Gehenna, unstable half-demon child near a bunch of teenagers? Mephisto and Shura.

He doesn’t even trust himself to take care of Kuro, but thankfully Kuro is a demon who can very much take care of themself. So why would the Vatican trust him near future exorcist children? They didn’t! Shura and Mephisto surprisingly collaborated together to kidnap Rin and slap him into True Cross to do an urgent mission: teach teenagers.

Yeah, they thought it’s be a great way to spice up his depressed lifestyle after all the beatdowns he’s gone through. Safe to say it worked.

Now, you’d probably expect him to teach a practical class considering his talents, but nah! Shura doesn’t want him feeling any more of a weapon than what be probably thinks he is, so he’s teaching.. drumroll, please….. demon pharmaceuticals!!!! 🎉

You see, I wouldn’t say I know everything about what it takes to become an exorcist, but writer’s freedom and all that! Teacher!Rin is knowledgeable in other areas other than just being a knight. His weakest link is probably scripture, because he lacks the patience to be an aria. He’s a proactive guy!!

Let’s talk about some Shura-Rin sibling stuff shall we? You may have noticed Shura has already gotten her haircut from my posts, thats because that whole arc happened already. Yep, Rin and Yukio go on like normal and help free Shura from her curse before Yukio defects and shit hits the fan for Rin! Shura thinks of those two like brothers, so being the oldest trying to take care of Rin, who literally lost everything now, she takes it up on herself to care for him (in her own rough-love-with-hints-of-soft way). She takes him out to go get matching earrings to help distract him from his new image, safe to say it’s the one thing he likes about himself for a while, and it cheers him up whenever he looks at it!

Yikes… poor Rin. 😓

Shura is an anchor for Rin’s current lifestyle, and she helps him in a lot of different ways. Dragging him to be a teacher with her is one of the many things she’s done!

And thanks to that, he gains an even greater pillar of support from it. Although his relationship with his students started off looking like the introduction from Assassination Classroom… he made it work out with his amazing charm. The cram school students gradually warmed up to their semi-unstable, depressed demon prince, son of Satan, demon pharmaceuticals teacher! Learning about his situation and the unfairness of it all brought them to become even more determined to help their poor teacher. Thanks to the help of his amazing students, Rin starts to gain some light into his shadowed life. He starts to let himself relax, have fun bringing back old passions, mourn, and enjoy the life he has even now. His brother may not be there with him just yet, but when he does, Rin will be ready.

And that’s one of the biggest changes I wanted to make clear for this AU! Teacher!Rin doesn’t have the same support system Canon!Rin does. He didn’t have friends, he didn’t have his brother, and he barely liked himself. But when he finally started to gain even just friends, Rin started to get better.

Because Rin thrives off others.

He wants to see his loved ones happy, even if it means he may not be. I really want to bring out these aspects from his childhood. Because while he did love cooking, everyone made it seem like his only good trait. And that’s just messed up, guys. Rin lived for his family at the monastery, despite not amounting to even half as much as his brother, and being reminded of that fact regularly, I’d assume, he still loved them. He loves his brother even after everything he’s done to him. He loved Shiro even after learning about the secrets he’d kept from him. Because Rin can forgive anyone so long as they can be happy, even if it means hurting himself doing so.

Now, this is my take on Rin’s personality, and others may have different perspectives; I’d love to hear them all!! There’s always room for improvement in my viewpoint and opinions, so please feel free to initiate some friendly debate and share some ideas! I love love love seeing everyone enjoy Teacher!Rin just as much as I do!!!!!

what's your current perspective on ragapom after the new episode? my headcanons have been almost completely changed...they're both losers and ragatha certainly seems to be more of a loser than pomni like many have pointed out. she literally does not take pomni's name out of her mouth throughout the entire episode!! like, sure, we all know you care about her and you're worried after all that happened in the pilot, OKAY! but for the love of god you literally fell off a CLIFF and one of your first reactions is ask about her?? definitely the biggest pomni simp to ever exist, no mfer in this fandom can ever beat her

(inspired by me and my friends)

- Lasko does this bit where he fully freaks out for like 2 seconds max and then acts completely normal and like nothing happened. He especially does this in very quiet and serene moments.

- Damien has one specific class that he despises and will, no matter what, always mention how much he hates it at least once a day.

- Huxley has a specific time frame where he will laugh at everything and anything and in these moments of hysteria he will send whatever he finds funny to the gc. Nothing he sends is funny the morning after.

- If someone mentions drawing an original character, Gavin will always respond with “Draw them naked.”

- When watching a movie together, Damien and Freelancer GRIP each other by the arm whenever something exciting happens. That or when they find a character attractive.

- Freelancer and Huxley both LOVE to make jokes about very mundane things. Shit like responding with “Me in the morning.” whenever someone says something along the lines of “I got up.” or “I feel awake.”

- Damien giggles whenever he thinks of doing something particularly evil.

- Almost everyone in the crew participates in the group wide bit of leaning in for a kiss whenever they say the same thing as each other at the same time, or when they find out they have a mutual interest/hobby. The only one who doesn’t participate is Lasko. If anyone leans in towards him he starts screaming.

- Everyone in the crew sends Damien pictures of angry cats with the caption “you.”

- Freelancer regularly describes things as “sloppy”, everyone else hates it.

- Everyone in the crew shares vocal stims

- Sometimes Huxley will randomly announce “GUYS GROUP HOWL.” Everyone will in fact howl.

- Damien is constantly harassed by the crew about his lack of whimsy.

- Gavin has a very consistent bit where he responds to pictures of caverns, jagged holes, ect. with “my pussy tbh.”

- Freelancer is referred to as “my friend who is 25” because they faked their age on the internet as a child. They were 11.

- Freelancer made a discord server for the crew and gave everyone the “kitten” role. Everyone hates it.

- Damien plays Valorant and it makes him so incredibly toxic. It is the only game that does that.

- Lasko’s stomach cannot handle SHIT. He will be running to the bathroom no matter what he eats.

- Freelancer had a very strict “no kissing at the academy until after 8 in the morning” rule.

- The crew loves taking pictures of Lasko’s forehead.

- “One must imagine Sisyphus ___” is an ongoing joke in the crew.

- LASKO IS SO SO SWEATY.

- Lasko also purposely touched people with his cold, sweaty, clammy hands. Everyone always screams.

- There is one professor in the academy that everyone in the crew either has a crush on or is fascinated by.

- Huxley’s mothers keep sending him little ceramic frogs. No they will not be stopping.

hi guys im actually so shocked and very glad you guys are receptive to this silly little thing of mine. yes of course you can know more about the ashzam vswap au !! i am sooooooo normal about them too trust HAHAHA. i have more ramblings and doodles about them on my main here and here but theres no way im turning down the chance to talk abt them more. au rambling will be under the cut !!

okay. im gonna like, reoutline the basics since nothing really makes sense unless we all get REAL COOL with a bunch of worldbuilding stuff first; basically quag are all god-adjacent beings (following their admin powers and abilities to use private servers and stuff) and everything takes place in a realistic minecraft setting where players on hardcore/private servers usually live there all their lives, which means that quag ash and uu ash are two different people, for example.

ashzam are quag ashzam who got basically booted into uu ashzam's bodies by way of [INTENTIONAL GAME DESIGN] oor something. i havent really thought that through.

okay? okay. now im a proponent of the 'completely omniscient director has an avatar on the server they communicate through but isnt totally aware of smaller things going on' idea, so thats how this weird swap thing occurs in the first place without the directors knowing. the director's like, background coding or something, makes it so that everyone else thinks that this is how things used to be: and ashzam are the only ones who change, by the way, cause i saw some confusion about that- they are the only things that change, but the organizations names change with them lol. anyway so ashzam think that theyre supposed to be in these roles because Obviously everyone else acts like theyre supposed to be here, so why wouldnt they think that too? like theyre aware they probably took over the bodies of their alternative selves but they dont know they Swapped. that is until the mcs start getting involved

whats happened here is that the main trio Know that somethings off, but theyre not sure what exactly it is at first. egg tells wemmbu something about toppling 'that tyrant ash off his high horse' and wemmbu like, absentmindedly agrees but hes like 'i cant help but feel like we've got the wrong guy...' meanwhile parrot and wifies are conversing over how to beat zam, but it just doesn't feel like she's the one theyre supposed to be fighting... spoke and mapicc are talking about all the shit zams put them through, but spoke cant help but think that all the stuff theyre attributing to zams doing was someone else's fault. it all kinda culminates in the three of them reaching some kind of epiphany- for wemmbu its when he finally faces off against ash in the war thats been weeks in the making, and realizes when clown finds them that its not ash whos supposed to be there but zam in his place; i havent thought abt when the other realizations could take place bc i havent gotten thru all of uu yet but, yeah, all of these realizations take place in similar fashions. the sidekicks dont realize and probably wont ever realize, but they believe in their friends for the most part and are willing to go along with the schemes.

now, ashzam, as much as theyd love to fuck around and screw up whatever plan the director has, theyre being tugged along by the directors plot too. its slightly different from what should be happening- i.e. maybe ash doesnt try as hard to be a dick to wemmbu, even though hes like 'this guy is pmo' he recognizes that theyre all in a pretty shit situation and kinda lets wemmbu off easily, or zam isnt so cruel to her mafia members and doesnt try As hard to torment parrot (she does still. kinda torment him. because shes a cruel god at heart! and thats kind of quags thing, being cruel to each other and laughing it off.)

but its not until the protags gain like, sentience or whatever, that they start getting actually worried because at one point the trio makes a plan to try and hunt down the one they want dead and interrogate them, which results in spoke and parrot going after ash while wemmbu hunts down zam. this kinda all culminates in them like living in some kind of secret base like the kind ash and squiddo have in s2 of uu to go back to, and they try from this base to continually contact kyle and redd (quag/god versions) so that they can leave uu. and ofc while they like. dont want anyone Dead or anything, neither of them are exactly playing fair when it comes to throwing off their pursuers (ash is creative flying and dropping bombs on spoke and parrot while they try and kill him, zams spawning a thousand ender dragons and crashing the server whenever wemmbu tries to get close to her, etc)

i havent really thought of any proper conclusion to the vswap au or anything, but in my mind there comes a point where both ashzam and the protag trio get so fed up they decide to try a friendly diplomacy meeting (ashzam only agree because they know the protag trio cant actually kill them no matter what, since theyll be in creative the whole time). they do get trapped going in but when protag trio realizes theyre unkillable they do actually get some information going between them and stuff, and ashzam agree to help protag trio hunt down the director and kill them.

i imagine this happens sometime in s2, after zams had her hand forced to kill wifies and ash has kinda gone intoa fake sort of cottagecore life with pangi (hes not too happy about having to live with zams best friend, and hes definitely not happy about her having to live with His gf but they work it out somehow)

aaaand this is a kind of crack-ish ending i guess. but in my head kyle and redd finally manage to get ashzam out by creating a wormhole that crashes unstable and lets all the uu characters out into the HUB for the first time in their minecraft lives and ashzam help them acclimate a little better

you guys seemed to like my last au ranting post so. here we go

some more takes on classic gravity falls aus because i like reimagining things. Here's my 2 cents on reverse falls, which. i havent seen the visual novel if thats considered canon or anything to the au. i think uts like batman now where everything you apply to it is canon if it vaguely follows the premise

from what i've seen, it's more of a situation swap than a personality swap, so most parts of the au will follow that. but pacifica didn't come to gravity falls for the summer- she had to move here because her stupid dad got involved in a scandal or something and had to lay low. the northwests have inherited enough money to last them a good while, but apparently they can't go spending it on "trivial things", like pacifica's very important designer clothes. so she has to get... a... a... god, i can't say it without gagging, a JOB!!! at a worn down car sales shack!!! hold on. let me add a cut here.

okay im back. alright. at her job, pacifica meets gideon gleeful, who's basically gideon but less entitled, and surprisingly a bit like mabel. he's immediately the most annoying person pacifica has ever met. but he's the only company she has, besides mr. gleeful, who is way too cheerful to be pleasant and gives off major discomforting vibes, and mrs. gleeful, who makes her reflect on the lack of affection she receives from her actual mother and creates a deep pit of sorrow in her heart. just girly things.

(since gideon is much more pleasant in this au, his mother is much more stable, and takes the role of the primary caretaker since bud is too normal for me to write about)

the other employees are bad, but could be worse. the sleepy cashier with eyebags for eons and ROBERT written uncaringly on his nametag, and the overachieving pink-haired errand-girl who seemed to have a different name each time you asked her and a cartoonishly large bow on her head.

the longer pacifica works at her new summer job, the more fond she grows of it. when she's not hearing about gideon's annoying ramblings about wanting to be on broadway and the melancholy of settling for a mascot gig, she's actually feeling this gross sense of pride after actually working for something in her life, and getting sandwiches made for her by ms. gleeful (eventually nicknamed aunt agnes). pacifica hates to admit it and it keeps her up at night, but she's happier here than she's ever been. which is why she doesn't leave when she notices strange things happening around gravity falls.

ms. gleeful denies it, but gideon totally agrees with her- something weird is going on in this town. pacifica, going through an old car with an undefinable model much too damaged to repair, finds a journal in the glovebox, embedded with an X over an eye, and from here, the show plays out a bit like normal gravity falls. give it that unnerving, darker touch that the northwest manor episode had. some early episode ideas:

a full episode based on the what's-his-face comic, obviously without the mystery twins. pacifica gets a pimple, and thinks that since she's starting to get older, she's losing her adolescent beauty, and thus becoming less of a 'valuable asset' to her family. what choice does a girl have but demon magic? i hope this one doesn't backfire!!!

after the last episode, the effects of pacifica's fear of not meeting the beauty standard linger. after catching pacifica staring at multi level marketing get-pretty schemes, ms. gleeful decides to revoke her phone and take the kids camping, saying that technology is evil. it turns out she's right, as pacifica's phone has grown restless after it's abandonment and transformer'd into a beast, which is hunting them down in the forest slenderman-style.

pacifica doesn't believe in the tooth fairy- she's almost 13! it takes her a terribly long time to be appropriately afraid when it gets one tooth from her (gideon convinces her to just TRY putting one under her pillow) and becoming obsessed with harvesting her perfect teeth. inspired by ckret2's goldilocks au!! :)

and then comes episode four...

on her break (thank god!), pacifica sits down to watch some trashy tv, but can't stop seeing ads for this flashy tourist attraction called the mystery shack. at first she rolls her eyes, but the lights and the colors and all the cool effects just look to awesome to pass up. this town must be getting to her, because she'd never indulge herself with something like that before, but now she just has to go. she works overtime for money to see the shack, and gideon uses his allowance to go, too. (pacifica is surprised. why is he spending money on this? he said he doesn't even want to go!!! (gideon just wants to get closer with his first friend)).

the shack is run by a professional conman, who collects and shuffles the money dramatically at a fancy desk, called stanford pines (not actually, this is pre-ford). his employees were vigilant, and yet always exhausted- a goth girl with a sharp tongue and a bodyguard who always seemed uncomfortable in his suit.

but customers really came for the twins; mason and mabel, psychic slash drama slash comedy duo. the townspeople practically (sometimes literally) threw money at them. they were the same age as pacifica and gideon, but had this air of disconnect to them. in all their posters they had the same matching yellow earrings, contrasting their bedazzled blue outfits. their hair also seemed to be greying, even at such an early age.

pacifica was not happy to have spent her 45 dollars on watching two kids read fortunes more vaguely than a cookie and tell dumb jokes and do stupid dances, but gideon seemed jazzed.

the next day, there's a knock at the office door. the twins came to visit! pacifica is pissed. mabel asks to chat with gideon, and pacifica tells her to screw off, but gideon rushes out of the door with mabel, 0 hesitation. he probably has a crush on her for a bit like in canon, but it doesn't go anywhere.

dipper invites himself in, offers that pacifica could offer him some tea free of charge, and pacifica almost thanks him. she lashes out at him, and quickly learns that he is all bark and no bite, curling up like a scared kitten in the recliner. she picks on him a bit, barely noticing the glow of his earring, before mabel comes back out with gideon.

"alright, that'll be all! hey, can gideon take work off today?" she says. "we want to go get makeovers! you know, since we're best friends now and all."

for some reason, pacifica feels a strong pang of rage. but she doesn't act on it, just standing there dumbfounded as mabel doesn't wait for an answer, and gideon skips out of the shop with his new best friend.

it keeps pacifica up at night. she should be important to him!!! wasn't she his first friend?

when gideon finally comes back, pacifica is still angry, but she's relieved. at least that wacko girl is gone- nevermind, she's back, and she's taking gideon out for tacos and pedicures.

it goes on and on and on. pizza night this, karaoke night that, arts and crafts here, a cool party there... pacifica knew that she should be mad. she should be frustrated- she was pacifica northwest! she should be the center of everything, she should be invited to these stupid get togethers, she deserved it!

but she wasn't angry about that. she was angry about gideon. and above all else, she was lonely.

so she did the responsible thing and communicated with gideon about how she felt and I'm lying I'm lying to you right now. she actually hunts down mason, demands that he spill the ulterior motives of mabel pines, and yanks him up by his shirt collar like a cartoon bully. at first, mason won't talk, but pacifica drops him on the ground and gets a good look at his stupid dumb constellation birthmark. she asks him about it.

"it's... not actually a birthmark. it's,, like a tattoo." mason confesses. "it's a long story. with a really gloomy sleep paralysis demon at the center of it. please don't tell anyone."

pacifica has no idea why it's that important, but utilizes her leverage, and blackmails mason into telling the truth because shes kind of a dick. he tells her that the whole mystery shack is a con made up of conmen and conwomen and conpeople, and mabel is trying to make gideon another cog in the cog-powered con machine and swindling him into giving up his family's business in order to expand the shack, showering him with attention and taking advantage of how gideon has never had any friends.

pacifica is outraged. yes he has, she decides.

she barges into mabel's backstage room in the mystery shack just in time to dramatically yell DROP. THAT. PEN!!! before gideon signs a waiver.

gideon is disgruntled, confused, and angry. "you're just upset that mabel is treating me like a real friend, something you never did for me!"

"i didn't know how to do that for you, i never... i'd never done it before!"

gideon squints and softens at pacifica's confession. oh. so she's not actually that mean, she's just repressed and lonely. she's just like me for real!

the two make up and hug, before the sentimental scene is destroyed by a loud "ENOUGH!!!" from mabel. mason dashes into the room to come to her aid, a bit sorry for leaking her plan, and the two use their cool crystal earrings to beat the shit out of pacifica and gideon.

"YOU WANNA HAND OVER YOUR PROPERTY TO ME SO BAD, IT MAKES YOU LOOK STUUUPID!!!" (cool psychic fight)

eventually, gideon manages to snatch the amulet from mabel, asking her what the diddly darn she's doing. mabel sighs.

"come on, gideon! i have braces! those mess with girls' emotions and hormones and stuff!"

"d-... do they really?"

"no, but you wouldn't know, you never had friends!" she towers over him. the whites of her eyes become a ghastly blue, her pupils shifting to a shape akin to a goat's. "come on, gideon! what's it hurt? your dignity? your family? your life's work? we both know you need approval. need to feel normal. like you're not a freak." her words are venom. "i can give you that. there's no reason for you to miss this opportunity. there's no reason for you to miss me."

pacifica is restrained by mason, reaching out for gideon. "don't believe them," she sputters. gideon looks up at mabel.

"you're right. it's just nonsensical. to miss this. miss you..." he takes her hand, as he speaks again.

"not when my aim is just getting better."

he takes his free hand and SOCKS mabel in the face and unclips her earring because i decided theyre clip ons and ripping it out is a little extreme!!! he throws it on the ground and stomps on it, and mabel is FURIOUS. she turns to mason.

"come on, bro bro!" she huffs. "do something!"

mason is still for a second. and then he shakes his head. "mabel, we need to talk."

"NOW!?"

as the twins begin to argue, gideon and pacifica take the opportunity to flee the shack and run back to the car shop. before ms. gleeful makes dinner, gideon asks if he can actually stay at pacifica's tonight.

ms. gleeful is okay with it, but pacifica quickly dismisses the topic. it's the thought that counts, but she didn't want to see her parents at the moment.

"you don't mind if i stay here tonight, though, do you, ms. gleeful?" pacifica asks.

"please, sweetheart, call me aunt agnes. i have a sleeping bag 'round here somewhere!"

she and gideon smiled at each other.

all things considered, he does try to make the night as perfect as possible and hes quick to agitate if something comes up that can derail those plans- example being your typical knd antics or something else entirely

provided nothing happens, the night is... actually pretty nice..

he feels nice being able to spoil you, if he knows you cant afford your half of the bill hes willing to pay it off

you guys dont get to go on dates often due to him being out on his coffee rigs for... long periods of time..

i believe i mentioned in a different post somewhere the he does try to make up for lost time by absolutely spoiling you and smothering you in his love and attention

loaded as well, that coffee money PAYS! he can afford to take you to some fancy schmancy place, but thats not really his style

its a bit predictable, but he takes you to a cafe to get a drink and some treats. its far more casual than father or knightbrace's idea for a date, but you cant deny that the coziness offers you a comfortable atmosphere to catch up

makes sure you get the highest quality coffee, wouldnt be surprised if he was the one supplying the specific cafe you two were sitting in

tells you about all his findings out on the rig and asks you if youve been up to everything, he offers to take you with him the next time he has to go out

i can see him taking you to that candy bar he was at in the black licorice episode! hope youre ready to get some toothaches because there... isnt much options for actual food... actually now that you think about, have you ever seen your boyfriend eat actual food? sure he sometimes goes to the villain bbq, but-

night outs with stickybeard are always full of energy and laugh, he makes sure youre having a good time and hes ready to call it a night if youre getting tired or otherwise ready to put an end to the social event

Ok flash summary of what the hell is up with pupleon first of all:

Leon is a guy who wants attention and hes a bit deranged about it! deranged enough to be evil (tm). He really really really wants to be the center of attention and is envious of others for being more naturally interesting, his envy is weird? cause he mostly tends to get really intense about people who he thinks are interesting. With owynn (who has VERY long hair, weird pupils, and dyed flashy hair) he just hates his ass, he just hates him. With eak cami and tony he mostly swallows it because theyre his friends and he likes them! the entire reason he has hair over his scars is to not make Eak feel shitty about them even thouh he loves them cause they make him "more interesting". With Puppet, it was weirder!!!!

It was weirder because he thought Puppet was super cool despite not really being all that loud (specially next to Mai). And then Puppet! is a curious bastard!

Puppet's emotions don't work quite right (he also can't feel pain, so) He's just constantly in the search for interesting stuff to keep his attention because he gets bored insanely easily, and he lacks a bit (a lot) of empathy, so he mostly sees people as things that can be interesting.

So they're a bit of a nosy kid, they get all up in your face and ask ten trillion things about your life and it really just makes you feel like youre under a microscope. They talk in riddles, confuse you and drag you along to see your reaction to things.

When Puppet met Leon, He got up to his usual schtick of being nosy, get all up in her face and asked him insane shit without any tact, like if hes really deaf, how deaf, if his skin is gonna change more, etc etc, mostly things that people with common sense wouldn't ask someone they just met. Unfortunately, Leon loves being treated like that, he loves showing off his scars and his vitigilio and his deafness and everything. And being given that much attention (getting interrogated LMAO) by a guy he thought was cool made him fucking exstatic.

Longs story short, Leon just follows Puppet around Puppet doesn't really care because he doesn't really care about anything. Shadow shenanigans happen Puppet gets fucking pissed because trying to fully completely understand what shadows was something he had done for really long and the only thing he had that could qualify as a heavy "interest" of his.

Sorry no one asked for the recap but i need to word vomit. Ok with that out of the way, how the hell do they even come back from that. Well uhm.

Basically Leon gets HEAVY guilt over it because yeah, you ruined his life bro i dont know. Puppets desire to be involved with all the shadow stuff and truly understand it was something much more important/heavier than Leon just, wanting attention!!!! and he feels REALLY bad

Puppet over there in hell land just kind of??? gives up? stop doing stuff unless they're prompted to, just sort of lays around and does nothing, without his infatuation for the supernatural he's just sort of on autopilot

The the like thing with them is that Leon tries really hard to get Puppet back into being more normal??? Mai doesn't really do it because she also doesn't get emotions all that well and her idea of helping people is going "TURN THAT FROWN UPSIDE DOWN <3" so thats nice. And he doesn't really talk to anyone else so its that blue haired snake against the world

Tries to get him on walks or to play games or to watch this funny video or ANYTHING you know?? just keeps bugging him ten thousand times, and Puppet actually drops the ten million theatrics and riddles and just talks very straight forward about what the fuck is up with him

Both him and Mai are cagey about their issues because no one ever believes them (which is FAIR how did THAT happen) so they mostly just avoid being straight forward about some quirks on how they work (aside from emotional stuff, for example. Puppet cannot feel pain, but Mai feels pain for the both of them; Mai can't feel temperature, but Puppet feels it for the both of them; etc) But since bro already gave up on everything at this point and since Leon IS involved with the weird magic bullshit he just tells him, straight up "I'm more of a machine than a human, I can't feel and I cant hurt. Whatever infatuation you have with me will lead nowhere because I can't make it go anywhere. And whatever you're trying to do right now with dragging me places won't make me a normal "passionate" guy. " and Leon is a fucking stubborn bastard who IN SUMMARY goes "you functioning differently doesn't make you any less human" and that him trying to get him interested in something wasn't to "fix him" just to get him into the same normality he used to have when he was fixated on supernatural stuff.

BASICALLY the end point with them is that Puppet has been very fixated on fixing themselves all their lives to be a "normal human", no one is really GLAD he's like that, they just like him DESPITE it. His mom and his family don't like him FOR being broken like that they like him despite it, and so Leon waltzing in saying that she can hold out affection for him AND his flaws as a part of him. That they're not something he tries to ignore or fix For someone to fully understand that it is magic bullshit and that he cannot get medicated or change or get better, and then NOT see him as some poor bastard or some empty shell but just a guy. It's audghdhdfgggghhh he can't be a full guy and he can't have love and he can't get the happy ending because it's not fixable vs guy who can accept that.

ANYWAYS IM FINALLY ANSWERING THE QUESTION CHRIST the point is yeah. the facades and the self.

Puppet is ALWAYS smiling, but he doesn't really mean it at all. He doesn't really understand what smiling means, it doesn't come naturally in the slightest and it makes him feel more inhuman than they already do. His "real" self is the showcase of how hes broken (eyepatch of doom) and his blank as hell expression. I did a thing with these two that is fun to me where its like the opposite of "stone faced but only smiles near their loved one <3" where Puppet smiles at all times every waking second but when he's with Leon he stops really giving a fuck (she already knows everything thats "wrong" with her so like who cares) and around leon he just looks completely dissenterested and bored.

Leon tries to present himself as normal guy, even though he REALLY wants attention its mostly because he IS a caring dude and he knows that showcasing his ears or his eye scars would freak out his friends. He also tries to not come off as intense as he actually is. Just a nice chill guy

then his real self is more???? outwardly a bit crazy. He loves his scars he loves his teeth he loves showing off and have people stare at him, he gets fixated on people and how "interesting" they are a LOT and tends to just STARE at people or come off REALLY intensly

Puppet's facade is what i already sort of mentioned, he smiles around people and tries to mask his lack of feelings into casual nonchalance that makes him come off as more normal than Mai even though he gripples with his brain a lot more than she does.

and uh the point of both of them being together for that is that they both just roll with it??? Leon does not care about how differently Puppet processes stuff / if they're unexpresive because yeah thats just how he's wired. Leon, as much as he loves attention, REALLYYYY dislikes pity, he doesnt think his scars or his deafness are something to be pitied rather than something COOL he has, and puppet can't really pity him so he just sort of agrees and goes "yeah man cool idc"

AND THATS IT THATS IT I DONT KNOW. HELP. SORRY.

i would like to say that ozzie COULD have been better as i do love his character but MAN did they fucking butcher him in the new episode

he is the embodiment of lust, making him the WEAKEST sin is well a sin and also since he’s apart of the seven deadly SINS he should be ya’ know POWERFUL because in that episode he just feels like some rich guy akin to every other rich guy in this show, he should be a guy that the whole cast are afraid of(and honestly the same thing happened to bee where she’s a deadly sin and NO ONE is acting like she of any importances)

how i would fix him personally is well not make him soft uwu boy i do like the fact he cares about fizz but well he’s powerful we should FEEL how powerful he is make some imps or succbi be cowering near him, fizz not sprouting jokes and blowing a BLOW HORN in his ear give us the feeling that he’s not to be mess with, and the stolas and ozzie team up honestly should be studied on how to kill a character, they shouldn’t made ozzie just be the same hight as stolas and i mean that IN EVERYWAY POSSIBLE because stolas seems to be scared of him thats good but ozzie ya’ know is chill about everything i mean stolas didn’t cause anything but him being chill is very stupid. thats my take of everything about ozzie and honestly im curious on what your take of fixing him is

So I’m not against Ozzie being nice and soft to Fizz, but him in general being the nicest sin and a cool “chill” dude does bother me. Again, these characters are supposed to be the rulers of Hell and I refuse to believe they’re just nice, it’s how I felt for Beezlebub. Same for Leviathan since Viv confirmed she wants him to be a chill surfer dude and so far the only sin she plans to be an asshole is Mammon. In Ozzie’s case, it’s also weird seeing him say how “lust shouldn’t be forceful” when I feel like the writers are confusing love and lust again. He’s also called the “deadly SIN” for a reason, he’s normally supposed to represent the sin itself, how sinners let lust consume them, in a bad way.

For Viv’s interpretation, I genuinely have no idea. Despite being called the “sins”, I feel like the seven sins in this show aren’t connected to the sinners at all, since they’re all in the Pride Ring and Lucifer was the one confirmed to be ruling over them, so we’re only left to believe that the sins tend to the hellborns. We know that Ozzie rules the Succubi’s, I guess you could say those are the types of demons for his ring, but I thought that the whole reason he gave the succubi’s crystals in the first place was to let them tempt those on earth….and yet he’s saying “lust” shouldn’t be forceful. See how it kinda doesn’t make much sense for his character? Then again there’s not a lot we know about Ozzie, outside of Viv describing him as chill and nice. For his job, all he seems to do is handle the sex objects that hellborns use. I’m not against the idea of him being an inventor/tinkerer either, these are interesting concepts, I just feel like not much is done with them. There’s still tons of empty gaps for this character, even after the new episode we still barley know him, so it’s kinda hard to say on what I think would “fix” him.

All I can say is just make him more threatening and intimating, which is funny because Stolas CLEARY was intimidated by Ozzie in S1E7, but Oops really makes you wonder what he was afraid of in the first place, especially if you’re going to paint him as the “weakest sin”. What if…as a better contrast to Blitz and Stolas, what if Ozzie was nice to Fizz, but mean and threatening to everyone else? His workers, other demons, basically a guy you don’t want to mess with, a person who takes his business seriously (whatever that would be lol). And while Fizz loves him, he questions their relationship and if he should be getting involved with a sin. There’s a lot you can do, I’m just kinda tired of characters in Helluva being “just good” and “just bad”. It’s very black and white and this is Hell.

X files mini review/analysis 3x08 "Oubliette"

I don't know if I can say i enjoyed this episode, but i do think it was a powerful one, and anytime we dredge up Mulders trauma and the ghost of Samantha is worth noting.

Its also one of those almost normal but still horrific type of episodes sort of like Irresistible, where the bad guy is just a piece of shit kidnapper, but this time we have the supernatural twist of the victims being connected - literally sharing their trauma.

Which is a fascinating concept in general, and as applied to Mulder and Scully, who are at this point gunning for first place in the shared trauma Olympics.

Some things I loved in no particular order:

Mulder showing up on his own at first, immediately prompting me to ask my television, hey where's your girl at? She shows up later at the hospital with him and he implies that he couldn't wait for her before jumping on a plane to catch this case. Which in a kidnapping case is understandable because time is of the essence, but in this case it's also immediately telling us that mulder is already agitated about this kidnapping and the possible connection between the victims. And that on edge feeling never leaves him or us for the whole rest of this episode.

Despite this being a Mulder episode, I love Scully being both his foil and his supporter throughout the ep. She questions his theory to his face but never dismisses him in front of the other agents. She says he's too close to the case because of his sister but then backs his play when he takes Lucy outside instead of arresting her. And of course, she follows him through the woods to find Amy, despite having evidence that points in the opposite direction. Ladies and gentleman, that is a true partner. Well acted and well written.

Love me a chase scene through the woods. That pull focus shot from him leading the charge to her following? Choice.

Back to the argument when she brings up his sister - interesting that he was like you of all people should know that one traumatic event from your childhood doesn't define everything you do - which first of all, it kind of does define everything you do my guy - but I don't see how this applies to her? All her trauma has happened since she started the x files as far as I know. I was actually waiting for him to say something like you of all people should have sympathy for a woman who was kidnapped, and then she would totally shut down and he would regret saying it, but that's not the direction we took. Either way, I both love and hate when they fight, and I think thats how you know they're doing it right.

I think this is the first time we've seen mulder cry since he broke down in his apartment when he thought scully was dying in ep 8 of s2. Poor baby. Will he cry in every episode 8 for the rest of the show, time will tell.

I appreciated the drama of the resuscitation scene but I felt like as a doctor Scully gave up way too quickly on that girl. Then again maybe she knew the girl was already gone when they dragged her from the water. Or she should've been.

The episode could have easily ended with Mulder crying over Lucy's body, but no, we get this little epilogue. Verrrry interesting commentary here. I love that Scully is like I don't know what happened but Mulder you were part of whatever connection they had. You helped save Amy's life just as much as Lucy. For her being so against the possibility of that connection the whole episode, that is so sweet of her and so genuine. And maybe she doesn't believe in the shared trauma connection between these women but she does believe in one Fox Mulder. In short, i love Dana Scully.

But then for him to say that Lucy didn't just want to save Amy, she also wanted to escape her life, her trauma, to finally let go of it all. Wow. Dark as fuck. Someone give that man a hug.

Overall a very solid episode. Scully definitely playing more of a support role to Mulder in this one, but she still has a significant presence and their believer/non-believer dynamic is in full swing and yet they never feel like they're not a unit. Even when they disagree they're still on the same page and the same team and tbh that's what makes them amazing to watch.

Contextually, the Sam stuff doesn't actually happen until later in the series. Aliens In A Spaceship takes place during the period of time where Sam hasn't arrived at the forensics lab yet.

Like, a brief timeline:

Dream goes to college, meets Sam and Tina

Sam and Tina move to different servers to pursue their preferred lines of work, while Dream stays at his home server for his forensic career

A murder occurs, with ties to the company Quackity works for and Quackity himself. Sapnap is angry that Dream is considering his fiancee a suspect, and George is upset that Dream has become so focused on his work, supposedly to the detriment of all three's friendship. after George and Sapnap each get into their own separate fights with Dream, Dream bunkers down in the lab

Quackity kidnaps Dream and does Some Regular Standard Torture

Dream is rescued and hospitalized. He wakes up alone, and understandably figures that Sapnap and George want nothing to do with him, and leaves the server as soon as physically possible

Eventually, Dream gets transferred to the forensics lab and assigned Punz as his agent to work with in investigations. Dream is somewhat cold to everyone he meets for Mild Trauma Reasons, but he slowly starts to warm up to Punz as they show that they're a dedicated and loyal person

Aliens In A Spaceship

more things happen

Eventually, Sam will come to the lab. Sam, like Tina, is one of the few people from the Before Shit Hit The Fan, and so one of the few people Dream is Instantly Warm With. Punz is both jealous and Suspicious, because everything he's learned about Dream's past relationships has said They Ended Badly And Hurt Him. He hasn't heard anything about this guy. Who Are You, Are You Here To Hurt Dream, The Most Precious And Beloved Person Who Deserves The Whole World. I'll Kill You If You Are.

more things happen. A lot of it is Sam crushing on Punz (he does not realize this) while also crushing on Dream (he does not realize this) while Punz warms up to Sam (they are disgruntled by this.)

at some point, Sam gets kidnapped. Dream realizes his feelings for Sam, tries to date other people to avoid said feelings at all costs, Sam and Dream end up together anyway through the power of ice cream.

Punz nearly gets murdered and possibly blown up and Thats Super Not Great. After hospitalization, he gets coaxed into Dream and Sam's apartment and they are both not only in love with each other but also Punz. Punz gets kissed and loved and fucked, as they deserve.

More things happen.

There will be no Sam in Aliens In A Spaceship. There will potentially be a Sam in the fic's Very Normal Sequel thats already plotted out, but that depends on several factors that have yet to be finalized.
