#rewatching initial d now i live in gunma and lemme tell ya its an experience #very much a hey i know that! now 🤣🤣🤣#even if I'm down in Takasaki and not in Shibukawa or Maebashi #tho apparently the hospital is in takasaki which surprised me cause i misremembered that bit #was gonna go to akagi for the first time this weekend to see leaves but heard it might be better to wait still #so putting it on hold #but E is thinking doing a day at Haruna (up the ropeway which i haven't done) then Akagi #hit the two big ones #ALSO WE DROVE BY THE KANAMESHI SIGN AND I LOST MY MIND #one of those things i didn't expect to still be there but is #we were headed to karuizawa and saw some great waterfalls tho the leaves were only just starting to turn #and on the way back i noticed they did have a 86 & a sileighty under it and i tried to get a pic but my phone didn't focus in time 😭#will have to go back when i have my license #Wanted to do usui pass even if we were in E's kei car but it was closed #will have to go back obviously #anyways fuck do i love living in Gunma like genuinely perfect place for me #I honestly think I could live in Takasaki for the rest of my life which is kinda bonkers #anyways come to gunma we got great onsen beautiful nature no tourists and lots of fun roads to drive #(i actually kinda recommend avoiding the initial d ones cause some have preventive measures now and others are well....#crowded 🤣)#Anyways theyre still fun but with all our mountains we have so many more #wow long tag post

Went to an amusement park yesterday. Spent all day getting flung around at high speeds. Had 2 drinks with dinner and spent the whole evening getting random bouts of vertigo

#not fallout #kal talks #the point to this post? nothing. but it was a fun day and i wanted to share #my dad lost his sunglasses the first ride we went on #i spent all day wrangling my hat and hair and trying not to lose my own glasses #we went on a water ride pretty early on in the day and i got wet because i always get wet #but the damn ride was UNSPORTSMANLIKE because the raft went under a waterfall to ensure you got soaked #so i was in wet jeans and a t shirt for most of the day #there's one ride i went on a couple times that's really intense and every time ive been on it i white out a little at the end #but nothing can stop my love of rollercoasters... nothing...#near the end after my brother and his family bailed my parents and i went on this one coaster thats been at the park for like Ever #and theres 2 loops #its pretty tame compared to some of the other rides i went on but it was near the end of the night and we were about done #anyway we sat at the back and got whipped around so damn hard it was BAD #there was one tight corkscrew at the end and i was holding onto the seat like it was jesus' hand like lord almighty #anyway it was a lot of fun i fucking love amusement parks #batter my body with rollercoasters forever

#OKAY STORYTIME THAT NO ONE ASKED FOR:#do u guys remember that girl that was basically my bi-awakening and we had the very stereotypical #intense homoerotic friendship that traumatised the both of us? yeah her #well basically i still have a lot of love for her and we're still friends like she's in my hometown friend group so when i talk about them #i still mean her and out of our entire group she's the ONLY one who didn't go to uni and me and my other friend spoke recently #about how unhappy we know she is bc she got abandoned by us in this awful hometown and we dont think she loves her boyfriend #so much as she stays with him bc she literally has no one else until we come home her life is literally just waiting for us between terms #and i worry about her all the time and one thing that happened a while back was she did drugs w this one guy by the river #and she completely whitied like it was just weed but she was 17 and had never done it before and turns out she's like me #where edibles just do NOT agree with her on a good day let alone when she took as much as she did and she was with a random boy #by the fucking WIER (basically a big dangerous waterfall) and we were all at our mate's house that was a 40 min walk away #and she RANG ME. i was the one she rang. that still sticks with me. and omg it was so scary bc she was so out of it on the phone #and all i managed to get from her was that Something Was Wrong (didnt know what) and that we needed to pick her up #so we did. we got on bikes and fucking RACED to this girl and we picked her up and in the end she asked for her mum #and i was the one to take her to her mum and knock on the door and stand there with her daughter's arm around my shoulder #barely conscious her sick on my shoes and explain what happened. like WHAT #& yeah basically i still have so much love for that girl and i know she struggles with shit hence why that even happened in the first place #and it's like. im still here. i still love you. i'll call your mum. i'll come and get you. just ring me and i'll pick up. stay on the line.#so yeah this song did unimaginable damage the first time i heard it. literally gives me chills and transports me to my 17 year old self #we were young and didnt know what we were doing and the town was suffocating us #AND WE WERE BOTH DROWNING AND DIDNT KNOW HOW TO SAVE EACH OTHER BUT THERE WAS AN UNDERSTANDING THAT WE WERE DROWNING TOGETHER #ask #noah kahan

I haven’t exactly been bearposting all summer or anything so you’re all a bit contextless, but I just looked up at the explore.org/bears stream that’s just kind of always on at my house, and I saw a bear at the far wall, in The Office, and I recognized him as 151 Walker based on a mannerism, and I said to myself, “Oh, cool, I haven’t seen 151 in a while, I feel like it’s been all 32 and 821 and 164 the last few days”, and I went to look at the comments, and one of the comments was a picture of this bear, 151 Walker, captioned “so handsome”, and while I’m not judging anyone’s taste in handsome bears, I recognize him by how he’s constantly flapping his tongue around licking his chops or something, just, such an incredibly goofy behavior that I would not have described as handsome.

#164 is probably my (and a lot of people’s) favorite bear of the summer #he’s still pretty young and goofy #he has his own special fishing spot right literally under/in the waterfall so people call #him Shower Bear #but it also means that often when another bear has caught a fish on the lip of the falls he will stand up and beg for a scrap #it’s very silly and (anthropomorphizing) seems childlike but it also gives you a good view of the SIZE of the lad #he’s going to be a big bear it seems like #gosh maybe I should have been bearposting all summer #you could have heard all about how I can’t distinguish between the 900s (903 907 909 910)#who to the best of my knowledge are medium-dark bears who often fish on the lip of the falls #I think 909 is the one who tosses her head all the time? but I suspect her sister 910 does that do #too*#the best part about watching the bears and getting Pretty Ok I Guess? at id’ing them #is that I will absolutely not recognize any of them in the spring #oh oh oh the other distinguishing feature of the 900s is their light ears - medium-dark bear with light ears on the lip? 90something to me #and I didn’t even mention 747 even though he is another good candidate for favorite bear #he’s been very chill this year #he’s got a very recognizable silhouette #like a slug #and he’s a very pretty medium reddish brown

#speculation nation #scenery #nature #there r more pics than just this but i took a Lot. this is a focus on the water.#the last 2 is where it got real deep and i was at knee height in water #i went right up to that waterfall and stuck my head under. 10/10 would recommend.#that section in the 2nd to bottom row is where i crouched down to just let it wash over my arms #i am flexible and i Did use it to just stick my arms and legs in the water while still crouching #4th pic was a water rapids kinda thing. along the path leading to the deeper water it's Just Water #and theres the section there where it's a surprisingly deep stream. u could go around or kinda waddle over it #OR u could be like me and just walk right in. i did that twice. loved it both times.#a few times throughout the day i slipped a bit but i never actually fell. i got that Good Balance.#god i love this state park so much. one of my favorite things about living around here.#🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 i love Hikinggg

There’s honestly something so nice about just existing in a public space. Like not even really doing anything, just being there. Just out and about adoring your own thing with other people just coexisting, maybe not even interacting but just other people. And being able to hang out outside some place where even if it’s not new, it’s a change from home so it’s refreshing. And you can just hang out, in the sun or on a bench or in a corner. Y’know, just reveling in the experience of being human.

#brain soup #I’ve been going to the plaza’s a lot more. it’s nice to just relax outside.#sometimes I’ll run into someone I know and wave or have a conversation #other times I’m just doing my own thing alone or with other people nearby #and you can always hear the wind and birdsong no matter what- and there’s even a man made river and waterfalls and fountains so you hear #the water and can hang out with the ducks and geese. and there are plants shoved in just about anywhere. it’s like a little slice of heaven #if you ignore the parking lots of course- but even then they have walkways and plants so it’s not an asphalt desert
