When there's no AuDHD Stan Pines tags
Tumblr media
Just a short thing I wrote :3 It's Ford's POV
Summary:
"How bewildering..." Ford muttered to himself, rapidly writing in his new journal, he had meant to use it for his anomalies but finds himself using it for his own brother than what not.
Stanley was.... for lack of better words, weird.
(Or: Autism Twin finds his Twin is autism????)

For Aresyl 🧐 and 😓
Thanks so much for the ask!
Tumblr media
^ Aresyl quenching both her thirst for knowledge and tea craving
🧐 FACE WITH MONOCLE — is your oc more logical or emotional?
Aresyl is definitely more of a thinker, in fact, you would be hard-pressed to read any emotion on her at all. She’s always introspective and searches for solutions or answers every waking moment. If you were to meet Aresyl, you might mistake her for being cold since she’s so stone-faced and dry. But really, she learned from a young age to never show her emotion even when they were clawing at her from the inside.
Her practicality is a big part of why she was able to resist falling to the dark side (along with the Rataka’s mother machine- but that’s another story). Aresyl rarely experiences anger and only feels hate for the unjust, so during her darkest times as a Sith, she instead carried a deep and hollow insatiable grief. She is quite a passionate person though, always chasing after what she believes in, which is why she could never feel at ease with the Jedi- who she interprets as mostly apathetic hypocrites. Instead, her unique connection with the force lands her uncomfortably homeless between the Jedi and the Sith.
😓 DOWNCAST FACE WITH SWEAT — is your oc open-minded or stubborn? are they inquisitive or do they prefer to keep to their bubble of knowledge?
Aresyl is far on the inquisitive and open-minded side and, like touched on above, is at constant debate with herself to find solutions and answers. From the moment she wakes up, she battles with questions. She has a never quenched thirst for knowledge- always trying to fill gaps in her understanding. Reading about ancient history and philosophy was important to Aresyl in her early Sith days. When she felt lost and confused among the Sith, she ardently searched the past to find something to believe in. She loved studying history, hoping to learn from the mistakes and examples of the past. Early on she understood the importance of preserving history.
This inquisitive momentum carried into her leadership positions as she became a Dark Lord and eventually Commander of the Alliance. She constantly yearns to find the best way to lead her people and bring peace to the galaxy. Even after she was no longer a historian, she maintained a steady passion for history and frequently read through historical archives.
She's also open minded in the way she is aware of the imperfections in her knowledge and knows there is always more to learn from others. Those who work for Aresyl will always attest to how she takes the time to listen to input or even life stories of people she respects (and she always has some basic level of respect for people by default).

ok not to be that guy but like. labor rights and working class rights can coexist with 24h services and late amenities. its certainly hard to do so without worker exploitation in this political and social environment, it’s not a conflict likely to resolve overnight. but 24h services are important and especially valuable to those of us that are disabled or are on a different circadian rhythm. in fact more professional, health, and government services should be available or at least possible to work on asynchronously (if applicable) during late or odd hours, while workers also get sufficient pay for their labor and proper consistent scheduling. this would be much easier on the workers with night schedules if the entire professional world didn’t grind to a halt at 5pmEST

learning that self deprecation isnt cool and just makes the people around you uncomfortable unironically improved my mental health a lot. like if you just stop saying negative shit about yourself you will genuinely like yourself more and other people wont be repulsed by your attitude and you will have more friends. it's true.

I feel we need the have a larger conversation about how socially anxious and/or neurodivergent people tend to really have a horrible time during family vacations, especially with relatives who tend to get very angry when we're not social enough.

Person 1: Not to complain about capitalism again and obv wear sunscreen, but most skin care products really just seem like snake oil.
Person 2 (there is somehow ALWAYS a person 2): So true! People go so overboard! You really only need about 20 products! Here's a 50 part thread explaining my daily process!
