🎀 Current At Home Workout Equipment I Own
Thick Yoga Mat - since I do mainly yoga and pilates my thick yoga may (amazon brand) has served me well. Even tho I am a heavier woman at the moment, I've never had pain or any issues with this mat, and it came with a carry strap which I love! A good, thick workout mat is definitely necessary for working out at home for comfort, safety, etc. Make sure to disinfect it on occasion, especially if you sweat on it a lot!
Resistance Bands - I have about 3 or 4 at different resistance strengths, and they're incredibly useful for a variety of movements, especially lower body ones. They add some extra resistance and make the workouts a bit more challenging when you need something more advanced. I also got mine from Amazon/Walmart a while back. I prefer fabric over rubber because I like to wear workout shorts instead of workout leggings.
Pilates Ball - not a necessity, but useful with some pilates workouts and movements. I have seen sole videos using this, but am not advanced enough to try it on my own yet. Will use for sure once I'm more advanced.
3lb dumbbells - I thought these would be useful for the pilates workouts that had some upper body focus, and as someone who wants to develop a lean and toned upper body, they are perfect for low weight high rep, controlled movements. Again, not advanced enough to use as I want to master my form, but they're gonna come in handy for sure!
Foam Roller - so so good for stretching and muscle recovery on rest days. I love mine but want one that has the bump things on it to help my muscles more. I can imagine how good it'll feel on my legs during a recovery day when I begin wieght lifting again.
Massage Gun - my holy grail for the days I am sore and needing some recovery. my body feels like jelly after using this, and it's just so nice for the days my muscles feel extra tight and super sore.
🎀 Equipment I Want To Buy
Yoga Blocks - these will help me get deeper into the yoga poses once I get more advanced in my practice
Pilates Ring - this honestly looks so fun and challenging to use, I'd love to add it to my collection of useful workout equipment!
Jump Rope - I used to love this as a form of cardio and as long as I don't move into an upstairs apartment, I'm definitely buying one
Pilates Bar - still iffy on this one, it's supposed to mimic a reformer but I want to get better at mat pilates and see if I even end up ever needing or seriously wanting to buy it, its on my list tho
Ankle/Wrist weights - these are gonna be so useful for workouts where hand held dumbbells aren't useful. Want to buy some low weight ones just to help with resistance and extra strength during pilates workouts
Kettlebell weight - I think this would be useful for a workout at home type situation if and when I switch to not doing just pilates and yoga. I know these are useful in their own right, but not needed in my current fitness stage of life.
Core Sliders - these look fun and interesting. They're on my lost for sure, but not sure about the practicality of their use in my life just yet.
That's all that's currently on my at home workout equipment list! As someone who primarily works out at home, the things I currently own are most useful and most of what's on this list is for fun or extra challenge. Just not necessary yet.
hope you enjoyed this list! if you have any questions about my favorite youtuber workout instructors or favorite videos, please feel free to ask, I've tried so many and can give some guidance from my own experience and research.
til next time lovelies 🩷

⌕ : becoming that girl this new school year .ᐟ
a new school year is approaching . . . so here are some tips to help you become "that girl" who has it all together and radiates confidence and positivity throughout your journey.
organization and planning
use a planner: keep track of assignments, deadlines, and events. it's s a game-changer!
set goals: define your short-term and long-term goals. knowing what you want to achieve keeps you focused.
create a routine: establish a daily routine that includes time for studying, extracurricular activities, and self-care.
academic success
stay ahead: review class materials before they are covered in class. it makes a huge difference, trust me.
ask for help: if you’re struggling, don’t hesitate to ask teachers or peers for help. don't be shy or else you'll struggle more!
join study groups: collaborating with classmates can enhance your understanding and make studying more fun. make sure you're in the right circle :)
personal development
healthy habits: prioritize sleep, eat balanced meals, and stay hydrated. your body and mind will thank you!
pilates & workout: incorporate physical activity into your routine to boost energy and focus. i recommend searching wonyoung, song jia, and lidia mera pilates on yt <3
mindfulness: practice mindfulness or meditation to manage stress and stay focused.
social life
interact more: make an effort to introduce yourself and be approachable. friendships can start with a simple “hello.”
get involved: join clubs, sports teams, or other extracurricular activities you want. it's a great way to meet new people and discover new interests.
be supportive: offer help and support to classmates and friends. being kind never goes out of style.
style and presentation
dress confidently: wear outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident. your style is a form of self-expression, take note of that.
stay organized: keep your study area and personal space tidy. a clear space leads to a clear mind.
personal hygiene: maintain good personal hygiene and grooming habits. feeling fresh boosts confidence.
remember, becoming "that girl" is about being the best version of yourself and living a balanced, fulfilling life.

Hi miss do you recommend any Pilates exercises for beginners pls and thank you
omg hihihiii :3
if ur asking about workouts on yt i have a few that are quite beginner friendly! these r for full body :3
this one by lidia mera definitely helped to strengthen and prepare my body for harder workouts! i'd say her channel is pretty beginner friendly in general >w<
madeline abeid also has pretty good workouts! i did this workout when i was starting back pilates and it was hard at first but got easier by the third day!
for exercises that target specific spots i really liked bomfit's lower body pilates! her channel is pretty nice and easy for beginners, and if you like kpop she also has kpop inspired workouts on her page!

want to really glow up?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
here are some tips && tricks for that !
section a. massaging : helps with anxiety, tension, headaches, relaxation and much more
I have found that with lymphatic drainage massages really help me the most. Here is one of the many great lymphatic drainage massage I have found that has done wonders:
TheMoments on YouTube
section b. mindfulness : to have a good mindset will send you on your way to glowing up. listening to people that talk about mindfulness and advice helps a lot.
Here are the many YouTubers I watch:
TheWizardLiz on YouTube
TamKaur on YouTube I have heard she also has a podcast on Spotify
Persephonesmind on YouTube
section c. discipline (working out, staying on schedeule) : discipline plays a big part in life, not only for knowing your schedule for when to study, but for also going to the gym, having a schedule will help you in the long run. Not only does the gym help you with your goals, but it helps you stay consistent.
Here are some workouts that I do
Lidia Mera she does workouts like Pilates
don’t forget to stretch!!
Pilates workout from the group IVE
Full body workout from the group Le Sserafim
section d. learning : learning can sound daunting, however it is quite the opposite. as human beings we need to be constantly learning things, even if that makes uncomfortable or unsure. we should push ourselves to be more open, to do the things we don’t like to do. keeping our minds curious.
For this I say, learning a new language is beautiful. It can be any of your choice. Also, you may also read books. No matter the genre read from classics to horror, you will learn new words, how to write and more knowledge than before. In addition, learn your history. Know what’s going on in the world. Search up on YouTube about where you’re from or where your family is from.
section e. healing the subconscious : in many of our minds we are unaware of what goes on in the subconscious which can cause negative thinking and blockages to occur.
What I have done to heal my subconscious is to listen to meditations, listen to frequencies and if you’re more of a listener to sounds while you sleep I have just the thing.
Here is a sleep hypnosis from Michael Sealey
Playlist of frequencies on Spotify
Healing subconscious as you sleep, by listening. Also can be listened to while awake
section f. hormonal balance : in society many people are dealing with pms. research has shown that healing your hormonal imbalance will help.
Vitamins that help: Magnesium and Chromium picolinate
Teas: peppermint tea, black tea, and chamomile tea.
Also keep in mind, sleep has a lot to do with many hormonal imbalances make sure you get your full hours of sleep.
Dieting can help as well, having an inflammatory diet can work wonders. Furthermore, cutting down on sugar, not meaning you can’t have sugar, but having it in moderation.
More with pms, learning more about your cycle and your needs helps in many ways. I recommend watching Tam Kaurs video about it link here !
yay you made it to the end, thank you for reading your guide to glowing up, getting better and being mindful. you got this and I believe in you <33

Holaaa.
Bonita noche:)
(Algo de th1nspo para seguir motivada)
