Queer relationships don’t need to be validated or made canon through a kiss. There’s such a double standard that when characters of the opposite sex are so much as friendly to each other they are now canonically romanticly involved but characters of the same sex/those who are genderless can literally do all sorts of romantic things and straight people will rationalize it to an absurd degree. They will only accept it’s romantic when there is a kiss or an “I love you” (and even then they will find ridiculous ways to say it’s platonic) and that’s unfair and disingenuous to what romantic relationships are. Let characters be in a canonical relationship without the need for explicit physical intimacy.

That being said Eddie and Venom better make out sloppy style in this movie or I swear to god.

The fact that DC isn’t capitalizing on the Billionaire Romance potential between Bruce in Clark is criminal.

It has all the markings of success. Tall, dark, brooding love interests that’s richer than God but has a tortured soul? Check. Small town protagonist who’s in over their head but too in love to care? Double check. Complicated family and/or workplace dynamics that could pull the couple apart? Triple check.

Superbat is like an Ana Huang book on steroids; I know I’ll never see it actualized but DAMN is Bruce and Clark’s dynamic perfect for it…

Granted that she may or may not have overreacted but Aiv felt like her reaction was valid seeing as she had to find out through an Instagram post she didn't even notice the first time until she took a closer look. Her best friend was dating the goddamn florist. The very guy Aivryn got her flowers from to give to her. And then, to add insult to injury, the gossip blog revealed that Abril had kissed her favorite singer yet again. It left her questioning everything. Was her best friend really that good of hiding things from her? If Abril hid this relationship from her, what else was she hiding? The knock on the door followed by Abril's voice pulled her back to reality. Aivryn forced herself to stop biting her nails, a bad habit she never seemed to outgrow. considered speaking to Abril without opening the door but her little pink glittered heart couldn't stomach doing it to her best friend. Aiv took a deep breath before cracking the door open slightly. She didn't open it wide enough for Abril to enter, a gesture perhaps rude but justified in Aivryn's mind. Though technically Abril wasn't a cheater but still. "What?" The usual smile on her face was gone, replaced by a stone cold expression.

Alright new Jason Todd headcanons in a dpxdc setting:

Danny is a "liminal" ghost, rather than a "half" ghost. He's alive and dead at the same time. (He's like Jesus Christ (in the church denomination I grew up in), fully ghost and fully human.) Danny, in human form, can go through a ghost shield, because he IS a living human.

Jason, however, is a reanimated corpse. He isn't a ghost, wouldn't have a ghost core, etc, he has a normal human system that runs ON ectoplasm. Jason CANNOT go through a ghost shield, because he is always an ectoplasmic entity. Danny can go through the Fenton Ghost Catcher and be split into a ghost and a human; if Jason went through the ghost catcher, he would straight up die.

(For my purposes I'm gonna say that Jason became an ectoplasmic entity upon his resurrection, but wasn't very stable. Dunking in the Lazarus pit stabilized his system but also poisoned his ectoplasm.)

I do think that Jason could learn certain ghost abilities if he learned to harness his ectoplasm, especially if they detoxed him off the Lazarus waters. He's probably already enhancing his stealth and strength in ways he hasn't really noticed. I think he's held back by the amount of physical matter he's lugging around, so maybe he couldn't fly, but I'm imagining temporary invisibility, or intagibility of like, a limb at a time. Maybe he can't walk through walls, but in a fight he can dodge by instinctively making the targeted part of his body intangible.
