You're jealous. It makes you lash out, makes you meet Keigo with claws and teeth and cruel, irrational accusations.
You pack a bag after your last big blow up, shame dogging your every move. A week. Maybe a little more. However long it takes you to stop feeling like a monster, to rein in these dark impulses that have taken hold of you.
He stops you at the door with a firm grip around your arm. Looming over you, leaning down until he's in your space.
"Why?"
How can you even respond. Why? Isn't he angry with you? Doesn't he see how unreasonable you're being?
You tell him the truth. "I'm embarrassed, Keigo."
His hold on you tightens. "So you're running away?"
"I'm not--" You let out a long breath. "I just need to calm down. Get a hold of myself."
"You can do that here. At home."
You tug. He doesn't release you.
"I don't want you to see me like this."
His expression turns stormy.
"You want to keep secrets from me?" You can't even question this before he's continuing, eyes amber bright and sharp as he pulls you further into his space. "You don't want me to see you what --jealous? Don't I have a right to know? Don't I deserve to be with you for this? We're lovers, and you still want to hide pieces of yourself from me?"
Trembling, you let yourself be drawn back into the penthouse. You couldn't fight him even if you tried.
He sets you on the bed, so he can push you down, curl up on top of you, all around you. Caging you in.
"There," he says. "You're not going anywhere. Would it help if I told you about all the times I wanted to kill anyone who touches you? How about how I want to lock you up, forever and ever? I can show you the collar I picked out, if that would make you feel better." He leans up so he can nibble your ear, whisper, "Or you could put it on me, if you want."

this is a totally personalized statement from me, but BG3 really did release at a perfect time for people in their late 20s and up (30 for me). the reason WHY all the characters are relatively attractive is because they look around my age or older. if I was a teen still and it had teen characters, I'd probably feel the same, but it's rare to have such a diverse cast with unique faces and wrinkles that isn't all muddied together, like "vaguely looks young adult". hell, I've had forehead wrinkles since I was a baby when I raised or lowered my brows, and I do not recall the last time a woman in a game HAD THAT (from what I've played)

i know we keep saying “for us jews it’s still october 7th” but from the bottom of my heart i cannot process the fact that it’s been more than 8 months. literally my brain has blocked out all of it. i know logically so much of my life has changed in these 8 months but every single change, every good or bad experience, has been tainted with the massacre and the war since. i cannot feel normal, i can’t even process time normally. and i am a jew in the Diaspora. i can’t even imagine what it’s like for israelis, jewish or otherwise. geez.

When you said that the unluckiest person is most hopeful, it reminded me of Nagito Komaeda. If the universe were combined, do you think he would fair well having Anti Cosmo as his anti fairy?
Funnily enough, I feel like it would be Hajime who would have an anti-fairy companion. I mean, he’s surrounded by extremely skilled people! That would attract bad luck in some way for him. Nagito wouldn’t be good food for anti-fairies. Or Fairies. Or Pixies.
...Honestly, Fairies aren’t quite sure what food he produces. It’s like a weird amalgamation of luck, desire, greed, and all sorts of emotions they can’t disentangle. Like a crockpot gone horribly horribly wrong. Eating any bit of that would make any fairy sick.
Eugh. The hell is wrong with that one.

hilson is just. these two men fail at every relationship they’ve ever had because they can’t escape their pathologies. they are doomed to succumb to their unchangeable weaknesses every single time. the only relationship they each have that isn’t at all defined by their issues is with each other. wilson doesn’t love house just because house needs him and house is able to value wilson above his own pain etc my favourite thing about this though is that they could’ve written it like mm it’s because their pathologies interact in such a way that they cancel out… they fit together like puzzle pieces making their relationship immune to their individual flaws….. but instead they manage to defy their own failures in their relationship with each other simply because they love each other so much. they love each other more than their incapabilities hold them back. their personalities are perfectly compatible in loads of other ways but when it comes to the primary issue each of them have that’s killed all their other relationships the only thing in their dynamic that overrides it is love
