And, um, I thought you were just being polite.”  “You think I told you that I’d like to make you squirm in a different situation out of politeness?”  Yuji chokes on his wine, not prepared for the sudden bold comment. It’s not like he doesn’t remember Fushiguro’s words—they replayed in his mind way too many times during lonely nights, so drunk on the feeling the memory gave him he couldn’t stop until he was an overstimulated ball of nerves curled up on the soaked sheets. He didn’t expect Fushiguro to remember, let alone to bring it up so casually. No blushing, no stuttering, no glancing away nervously like Yuji does.
