He was cancelled because he was too powerful. Fight me, I think the original Felix(or Adrien, since he had this name in the bibles) is better than Adrien we have now. I love Felix in these two art styles

When people think of Spider-Man and Miraculous, many associate Spider-Man with Ladybug. However, when I heard this phrase in my native language, I couldn't help but think it would fit Félix from the Miraculous PV. I imagine him somehow getting rid of his curse and finally being able to take off the ring, but not being able to put it back on. At first, he feels happy because he finally gets his life back without bad luck, but soon he realizes that this life doesn't make him happy. It's true that now he doesn't have to stay up all night chasing criminals or memorize cheesy pick-up lines and give roses to win Ladybug's heart in the hope that she will kiss him, but he also misses feeling the night breeze while patrolling. He liked discovering a side of himself he didn't know he had. He never thought he would have a group of friends (the Quamic Kids) with whom he could socialize freely, without being associated with his wealthy family. He didn't even think he could call Ladybug or Plagg his friends. The most important thing is that he never thought he would feel so good about caring for others and being needed by people, not just himself.

You know, I like the idea that, just like in the 2004 Spider-Man movie, Félix, even though he can't transform into Chat Noir, tries to rescue an elderly woman from a house that's on fire when he sees that the firefighters are taking too long and Ladybug and her team can't arrive in time because they are fighting a very strong akuma. I imagine Félix "borrowing" a motorcycle helmet and rushing without thinking to rescue the elderly woman. When they are both safe and talking, the topic of Chat Noir's disappearance comes up, and that's when the elderly woman says that phrase. That’s the last push Félix needs to seek out the guardian of the Miraculous and ask for help to become Chat Noir again.

I have the sillyest headcannon about Félix from Miraculous Ladybug (either fanon or canon félix it can fix both!) And its simply that he reads/watches Detective Conan.

Which is an anime about a super genius teenage detective that looks like a 6 year old

the concept of pv felix? CHEFS FUCKING KISS.

adrien is a ray of sunshine, absolute ball of cotton candy despite being orphaned and suffering from the worst things possible. which is incredibly cute but also a bit unrealistic. i think anyone would become a little ficked up if they had to go through all that.

but pv felix? i can give him the worst of backgrounds and he will act accordingly! he can be a bit morally gray, you know? like, he’s not a snob, he just doesn’t like stupid people, absolute literature nerd, he’s the one who doesn’t drink coffee unless it’s unsweetened espresso. he’s the one to get drunk alone on white wine at the tender age of 15 while reading the picture of dorian gray. he’s the one who absolutely despises physical affection from others but melts at the thought of love. he rebels quietly, subtly. he doesn’t smile even when he’s happy, but his eyes lit up. he puts small poems in marinette’s locker because he will never have the courage to confess how he feels. he despises his father and is not afraid to say so. he stays stoic while saying shit that would put even god’s strongest soldiers in years of therapy. he has religious trauma. he selects carefully his friends. he doesn’t usually joke but when he does he surprises everyone so much that they all are mouth agape and don’t laugh. he psychanalises people he doesn’t like as if he’s freud’s little assistant and blackmails them for fun. people are scared of him and he uses that to his advantage. he would burn down a church for shits and giggles. he is the man. full stop.
