Quantic kids! Making everyone family friends and giving everyone extra siblings while reworking a lotta stuff🫡 honestly this au is becoming more of a fanfiction off the concept art than even working with season one and y'know what I'm okay with that 👍

I really like the idea that Kid Mine's power can only be used if he's quiet, and that this causes him many problems at first because he's very impulsive and can't stay quiet for long. I also like the idea that both Félix and Claude don't get along, as well as their alter egos, but that, by interacting more, they eventually become friends.

The reasons why they don't like each other are the following:

Félix doesn't tolerate Claude because, deep down, he envies him. Claude is everything he wishes he could be: relaxed, fun, sociable, and loved for who he is, not for what he represents as his father's son.

Claude doesn't get along with Félix because the few times he's interacted with him, Félix makes him feel like a fool. Claude thinks Félix is a rich, arrogant brat, and he still doesn't understand what Briguette saw in him.

At first, Claude didn't dislike Chat Noir because he thought that, with the same personality, they'd get along well. However, during his first encounter with Ladybug and Chat Noir, he was greatly disappointed. Chat Noir only acted funny when Ladybug was around, but when she wasn't or when they faced a complicated enemy, he acted very serious and even somewhat cold. The times Claude had to patrol alone with Chat Noir, he noticed that Chat Noir barely talked to him and always tried to correct him, even in the smallest things. This made Claude feel like he was a burden to them, although Ladybug always told him she corrected him because she was trying to protect him in her own way, though she knew it was strange. Chat Noir has always been a mystery to her.

As for Félix, at first he was annoyed that Kid Mine existed because he thought he would be an obstacle to his plan of winning Ladybug's heart and finally breaking his curse. He also disliked how clumsy Kid Mine was as a hero, though he couldn't blame him, since he and his Lady were just as inexperienced when they started. However, thanks to (or unfortunately) the master and guardian of the Miraculous, Su Han, he trained them after learning who held the Miraculous of good and bad luck. (In my head, I've always liked the idea of the Quamic Kids being trained by the original master and not one who isn't qualified for his position). That's why Chat Noir is strict with Kid Mine about his mistakes: because he made the same ones when he was new to being a hero, and he knows that if Kid Mine keeps making them, he will never reach his full potential. He also knows how tough the master is with punishments when the heroes make mistakes.

Although not in the best way, Chat Noir and Kid Mine manage to resolve their differences during a heated argument after a villain severely injured Kid Mine. They both realize that they really care about each other, and, in a strange way, they admire each other.

He was cancelled because he was too powerful. Fight me, I think the original Felix(or Adrien, since he had this name in the bibles) is better than Adrien we have now. I love Felix in these two art styles

I have the sillyest headcannon about Félix from Miraculous Ladybug (either fanon or canon félix it can fix both!) And its simply that he reads/watches Detective Conan.

Which is an anime about a super genius teenage detective that looks like a 6 year old

HOWEVER

the concept of pv felix? CHEFS FUCKING KISS.

adrien is a ray of sunshine, absolute ball of cotton candy despite being orphaned and suffering from the worst things possible. which is incredibly cute but also a bit unrealistic. i think anyone would become a little ficked up if they had to go through all that.

but pv felix? i can give him the worst of backgrounds and he will act accordingly! he can be a bit morally gray, you know? like, he’s not a snob, he just doesn’t like stupid people, absolute literature nerd, he’s the one who doesn’t drink coffee unless it’s unsweetened espresso. he’s the one to get drunk alone on white wine at the tender age of 15 while reading the picture of dorian gray. he’s the one who absolutely despises physical affection from others but melts at the thought of love. he rebels quietly, subtly. he doesn’t smile even when he’s happy, but his eyes lit up. he puts small poems in marinette’s locker because he will never have the courage to confess how he feels. he despises his father and is not afraid to say so. he stays stoic while saying shit that would put even god’s strongest soldiers in years of therapy. he has religious trauma. he selects carefully his friends. he doesn’t usually joke but when he does he surprises everyone so much that they all are mouth agape and don’t laugh. he psychanalises people he doesn’t like as if he’s freud’s little assistant and blackmails them for fun. people are scared of him and he uses that to his advantage. he would burn down a church for shits and giggles. he is the man. full stop.

Adrien hair dump!

Also some context for the last one: Adrien has a "sneaking out disguise" (the first row hair) that's just a dark brown wig, brown eye contacts and no makeup and he actually meets Marinette for the first time like this. She doesn't know it's her and Adrien's first meeting, she thinks he's a warehouse helper named Darien, and she later believes him to be Chat Noir's civilian identity, which is why she calls him that in that picture.

Anyways, some more blabberings under the cut:

- With Amelie and Felix's help too, Adrien has a go-to civilian disguise for when he's out and about. (it's mostly him NOT putting on makeup, reverse makeover if you will) For this reason, Inheritance!Adrien is a lot more acclimated to going out and having interests. He acts a lot like Chat when in this disguise as well- but just slightly less unhinged

- He sometimes parades as a storeroom assistant for the biggest Agreste warehouse/workshop, and this is how he meets Marinette for the first time. She's also the reason he began to ask to go to public school that following year

- He's a natural brunet, he started dying it blond when “Gabriel” began to put him into modeling. “Gabriel” was against it at first, but Adrien spun it for the company's favor and got him to stop fussing about it

- any resemblence to anything is accidental, "Darien" was made a while ago and was low-key based on fanon Plagg designs from like 2016 off my memory 😅

- Marinette and Chat hang out while he's in his "civilian" form quite a lot, and Tom ships them

- the glasses are cosmetic, it's for sentimental reasons

- annula disclaimer that I am going to pout an obnoxious amount of marichat outta this au 😌👍
