Me glaring at you for not shifting…but anyway I wanna discuss challenges about shifting! Let’s just get right into it shall we?
Shifting: Challenging What We’ve Been Taught About Effort and Desire
For most of us, life is framed by the idea that everything we want has to be earned through hard work, sacrifice, and persistence. Whether it’s a career, relationships, or personal success, we’re taught to believe that the road to getting what we want is long and filled with challenges. The idea of having things handed to us with little or no effort seems foreign, even impossible. Yet, shifting challenges that very notion—offering us a world where, in a sense, everything we desire can manifest instantly.
Shifting allows us to enter alternate realities where our deepest dreams and wishes can come true, often without the need for hard work or struggle. In a world where we’re taught that we must earn every inch of progress, the idea of being able to instantly access everything we’ve ever wanted can feel both like a blessing and a burden. The sudden transition from a life where patience and effort are required to a reality where they’re not can be jarring.
The Discomfort of Instant Gratification
Shifting, in its purest form, defies the idea that we must struggle to achieve our goals. It opens up a reality where desires manifest in an instant, where you can step into the world you’ve always dreamed of and have your wishes granted without the tedious effort we’re accustomed to. For many, this can feel surreal. It challenges the foundational beliefs we’ve built our lives on, especially the notion that you have to work hard for everything.
In a world where we’re taught that we must earn every inch of progress, the idea of being able to instantly access everything we’ve ever wanted can feel both like a blessing and a burden. It can be overwhelming to step into a reality where the rules are completely different—where everything we desire can be ours without struggle. The sudden transition from a life where patience and effort are required to a reality where they’re not can be jarring.
Shifting isn’t just a walk in the park. It’s not all magic and immediate rewards. The experience itself can be filled with feelings of unease, confusion, and vulnerability. For someone who’s grown up in a system that constantly reinforces the need for hard work, it can be difficult to navigate the idea of receiving things without having to prove your worth or struggle to attain them.
The Pressure of Perfection
Another aspect that shifting brings up is the concept of perfection. In our current reality, we know that not everything can be perfect. We’re aware of our flaws, imperfections, and the challenges we face. Shifting, however, can sometimes provide a reality where everything seems flawless: perfect relationships, endless opportunities, and personal achievements. This can be both liberating and intimidating.
When everything we want materializes so easily, it’s easy to forget that real life, in any reality, comes with its own set of challenges. And just because we shift to a reality where we seem to have it all, doesn’t mean the journey is without emotional weight. There’s still growth, still lessons to be learned, and still moments of discomfort.
It’s important to remember that even in a reality where everything comes easily, we still need to grow, learn, and understand ourselves. No reality is free from lessons, even if they aren’t immediately apparent.
Avoid Undermining Others’ Experiences
When it comes to shifting, there’s a tendency to undermine the experiences of others, especially if they’ve faced challenges in their journey. It’s easy to think, “If I were in your shoes, I’d be happy to have that problem” or “You should appreciate what you have,” but these kinds of comments, especially when said seriously, can be damaging.
Everyone’s shifting journey is personal. Some may experience the excitement and joy of a reality where their dreams have come true, while others might face difficult emotions as they adjust to this newfound freedom. Just because someone has shifted to a reality where everything they desire is within reach doesn’t mean they’re immune to feelings of overwhelm, guilt, or doubt. It’s important not to undermine their experiences simply because they’ve shifted to a place that seems perfect from the outside.
Telling someone that they shouldn’t feel upset or overwhelmed because they “have it better” than others isn’t productive. It minimizes their emotional process and invalidates their experiences. Just because someone shifted to a world of their dreams doesn’t mean that world is without its own challenges. Every reality, no matter how perfect it may seem on the surface, carries with it its own struggles and growth opportunities. And that’s okay. Shifting is a deeply personal experience that should be treated with empathy and understanding, not judgment.
Shifting and Self-Compassion
At the core of shifting is the need for self-compassion. It’s important to recognize that even in a world where everything we want is just a thought away, it’s okay to feel overwhelmed, nervous, or even unsure. The fact that shifting allows us to step into realities of our own making is powerful, but that power also comes with a responsibility to honor our feelings and experiences. Shifting isn’t about escaping reality; it’s about exploring new dimensions of possibility—some of which might challenge us to grow in unexpected ways.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the instant gratification that shifting offers, allow yourself the space to process that discomfort. It’s normal to feel a mix of excitement and fear when faced with such a drastic shift in how you interact with the world. Recognizing these feelings without judgment is key to navigating the experience with more ease and self-acceptance.
Conclusion: Embracing the Challenge of Shifting
Shifting challenges everything we’ve been taught about effort, achievement, and success. It pushes us out of our comfort zones and forces us to confront the idea that our dreams can come true with little to no effort. This can be both liberating and nerve-wracking, especially when we’re so used to the idea that hard work is the only path to success.
However, it’s essential to remember that shifting is a personal journey, and each experience is valid. Just because someone shifted to a perfect reality doesn’t mean their emotional journey is free from complexity or struggle. We shouldn’t undermine others’ experiences or invalidate their feelings just because their reality seems ideal. Shifting is not about escaping; it’s about growth, exploration, and learning how to live fully, whether in this reality or another.
So, as you shift, embrace the challenge. Allow yourself to feel the discomfort, the uncertainty, and the excitement. It’s all part of the journey—and it’s all worth it.

10 Bad Habits to Let Go of for a Beautiful Life (Trust Me, You’ll Thank Yourself)
We all have those habits that hold us back — some sneakier than others. And while no one’s perfect, a little spring cleaning of your daily habits can unlock a happier, healthier life. Ready to drop the bad vibes and level up? Here are 10 bad habits to leave behind for good!
1. The Comparison Game — It’s Gotta Go
We’ve all done it. Scrolling, looking at someone’s perfect life, and feeling like we’re not enough. But honestly? Comparing yourself to others is a losing game. Focus on your own growth, and unfollow anything or anyone that makes you feel less-than. Your journey is yours alone, and it’s beautiful in its own way. Keep your eyes on your own lane!
2. Procrastinating Like It’s a Sport
We get it — that “I’ll do it tomorrow” energy feels good in the moment, but it’s also a trap. The more you put off tasks, the more they pile up and haunt you. Trust, the best feeling is getting stuff done now and freeing up your mind for the fun stuff later. Break it down, set a timer, and just start. You’ll feel like a boss when you’re done.
3. Saying Yes to Everything (Even When You Don’t Want To)
No is a full sentence, babe! If you’re constantly saying yes to things that don’t align with your goals or drain your energy, it’s time to stop. Overcommitting leads to burnout, and life’s too short for that. Start setting boundaries and prioritize what makes you feel good. Your time is precious, so treat it like gold.
4. Relying on Everyone Else’s Approval
We all love a little validation, but depending on it? That’s a recipe for insecurity. Your worth isn’t measured by someone else’s likes or approval. The only validation you really need is your own. So hype yourself up, celebrate your wins, and be proud of the progress you’re making, regardless of who’s watching.
5. Avoiding Your Finances Like It’s Scary
Finances don’t have to be terrifying! Ignoring them might feel easier in the moment, but getting a handle on your money situation is so empowering. Start small — track your spending, create a budget, and set a savings goal. The sooner you take control, the more stress-free your future will feel.
6. Holding Grudges Like They’re Trophies
Honestly, holding onto grudges only weighs you down. Letting go of past negativity isn’t about excusing people’s behavior — it’s about freeing yourself. Don’t let old situations control your peace. Forgiveness is for you, babe. The less baggage you carry, the lighter you’ll feel.
7. Talking Down to Yourself
Would you say those mean things to your best friend? Didn’t think so! So why do we let ourselves get away with it? Cut out the negative self-talk and replace it with something a little more kind and uplifting. You deserve better from yourself. You wouldn’t believe how much your mindset can change once you start being nice to yourself.
8. Expecting Everything to Be Perfect
Perfection is a myth, and chasing it will only leave you stressed and frustrated. Life happens in the in-between moments — the imperfect, messy, beautifully real ones. Give yourself some grace and celebrate progress, not perfection. A “good enough” life is often a perfect one in disguise.
9. Staying in Your Safe Bubble
Your comfort zone might feel cozy, but nothing grows there! Stepping outside of it might be scary, but it’s where all the magic happens. Whether it’s trying something new, starting a project, or meeting new people, discomfort leads to growth. Don’t let fear hold you back — take the leap!
10. Blaming Everything Else for What’s Not Going Right
It’s easy to point fingers and blame outside circumstances, but taking responsibility is where real change starts. You’ve got more control than you think! Instead of dwelling on what’s going wrong, focus on what you can change. You’ve got the power to turn things around — it’s all in your hands.
These bad habits? They’re not serving you, and it’s time to leave them in the past. Letting go of what’s holding you back will clear the way for bigger, better things. You’re already halfway there just by recognizing what needs to change. So let go, level up, and watch your life get a little more beautiful, one habit at a time.

thinking about rafe being more involved with sarahs life after the baby and spending time with them and taking the kid to school or maybe picking the kid up and seeing reader who is a teacher and they flirt or maybe it’s parent teacher conference and rafe tags along with john b bc Sarah can’t make it and him and reader are cute and flirting
Tumblr media
the late afternoon sunlight filtered through the classroom windows, painting golden streaks across the desks and scattering soft shadows on the floor. it was quiet now, the hum of kids long gone except for a few stray drawings left forgotten on tables and the faint creak of your chair as you leaned back, scanning through a pile of spelling tests.
the knock on your classroom door startled you, pulling you out of the mundane rhythm of grading. when you looked up, you expected john b, who had mentioned he’d be dropping by for the parent-teacher conference. instead, you saw him. rafe cameron.
rafe leaned casually against the doorframe, one hand shoved into the pocket of his jeans, the other gripping the strap of a sleek leather backpack. his usual cocky smirk softened into something more polite, almost uncertain, as his eyes swept the room before landing on you.
“hey,” he said, his voice low and warm, like he wasn’t entirely sure he belonged here but was trying anyway.
“hi,” you managed, your surprise fading into curiosity. “can i help you?”
“i… uh, i’m here for the conference,” he explained, stepping further into the room. “sarah couldn’t make it, and john b roped me into tagging along.”
you blinked, trying to reconcile the guy who had a reputation for being a little too reckless, a little too intense, with the man standing in front of you. “oh. yeah, of course. take a seat. john b should be here any minute.”
rafe nodded, sliding into one of the kid-sized chairs with an amused grin. “man, these chairs are tiny. no wonder kids are always squirming.”
you laughed, the sound light and unexpected. “yeah, they’re not exactly built for comfort. you’ll survive, though.”
he raised an eyebrow, leaning his elbows on the desk as he looked at you. “is that a challenge?”
before you could respond, the door swung open, and john b burst in, his usual whirlwind energy filling the room. “hey, sorry i’m late,” he said, dropping into a chair beside rafe without missing a beat. “traffic was insane.”
“it’s fine,” you assured him, pulling out the folder with their child’s name neatly printed across the front. “shall we get started?”
the conference itself was straightforward, mostly you going over their daughter’s progress, showing off some of her artwork, and sharing notes about her strengths and areas for growth. but every now and then, you felt rafe’s gaze on you, steady and curious, like he was trying to figure you out.
when the meeting wrapped up, john b stood, stretching. “thanks for taking the time. sarah’ll be thrilled to hear everything’s going so well.”
“of course,” you said, offering him a warm smile. “she’s a great kid. makes my job easy.”
john b nodded, then glanced at rafe. “you coming?”
rafe hesitated, his eyes flicking to you. “uh, i’ll catch up. i just have a quick question.”
john b smirked, like he knew exactly what was going on, but didn’t say anything as he left, leaving you and rafe alone.
“so, a quick question?” you prompted, arching an eyebrow.
he grinned, leaning back in his tiny chair. “yeah, just wanted to ask if you’ve always been this good with kids, or if it’s something you picked up over time.”
you tilted your head, caught off guard by the sincerity in his tone. “a little of both, i guess. i’ve always liked working with them. they’re honest, you know? no filter. keeps things interesting.”
he nodded, his expression thoughtful. “yeah, i can see that. you’re… you’re really good at it. i mean, i could barely survive babysitting her for an afternoon, and you do this every day.”
you laughed, feeling a warmth creep into your cheeks. “it’s definitely not easy, but it’s worth it.”
there was a pause, the kind that felt like it held something unsaid, and then rafe stood, towering over the kid-sized desk. “anyway, i should let you go. but… maybe i’ll see you around?”
“maybe,” you said, your smile lingering as he made his way to the door.
but before he left, he glanced back, his smirk returning. “or, you know, if you ever need a break from grading papers, i’d be happy to grab a coffee or something. on me.”
you raised an eyebrow, fighting the grin tugging at your lips. “i’ll think about it, cameron.”
he chuckled, giving you a small salute before disappearing into the hallway, leaving you alone in the golden light of the classroom, your heart fluttering in a way you hadn’t expected.

2025 : #4 BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
Tumblr media Tumblr media
「 Listen to me. YOU are in full control of your destiny. No one else. Not your parents, not your friends, not your circumstances. YOU . The moment you take full responsibility for your life is the moment everything changes. 」
✒️..Too many people say, “I can’t do it because my family didn’t support me,” or “I wasn’t given the same opportunities as others.” Let me tell you something: success doesn’t care about your excuses. It doesn’t care about your setbacks. Success is about what you do with what you have. You can’t change where you started, but you can change where you’re going. Life isn’t about waiting for things to happen; it’s about making them happen. And that starts with one simple belief: YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKE
1 Why You Need to Believe in Yourself
Think about it—every single person who has achieved something great didn’t start out with all the answers. They didn’t wake up one day and suddenly OMG BRO I'M RICH OR OMG BRO I'M A CEO . No, they struggled. They failed. They doubted themselves. But the difference? They didn’t quit. They believed in their ability to learn, to grow, and to figure it out along the way. And so can you !!! you’re going to face challenges. THAT'S LIFE . There will be days when you feel like giving up, when the pain seems too much, and the road ahead feels impossible. But those are the moments that define you. Those are the moments where you choose—do you give in to doubt, or do you rise above it?
2 Take Full Responsibility
Stop blaming your situation. Stop waiting for someone to save you. Nobody’s coming to rescue you. This is your life, and you have to own it. Look in the mirror and ask yourself, “Am I giving my all? Am I showing up for my dreams?” If the answer is no, then it’s time to make a change. You owe it to yourself to show up every day. Not for anyone else IT'S YOUR LIFE. Not for approval but because you believe in your potential. Because you know deep down that you’re capable of more.
3 One Step at a Time
I’m not asking you to figure it all out today. Success isn’t about giant leaps it’s about consistent steps. Focus on the next 24 hours. What can you do today to get closer to your goals? Forget about next month, next year—handle today.SET DAILY GOALS - WEEKLY GOALS - MONTHLY GOALS .. When you start taking it one day at a time, everything becomes manageable. You’ll realize that the mountain you’re climbing isn’t as impossible as it seems. But you have to start. You have to put one foot in front of the other.
4 Struggle Is Part of the Process
Don’t shy away from struggle. Embrace it. Without struggle, there’s no progress THERE IS NO FUCKING PERSON THAT DON'T MAKE MISTAKES WE ARE HUMAN AFTER ALL Without setbacks, there’s no growth. Every obstacle you face is an opportunity to become stronger, to become better, to become the person you’re meant to be.And when it gets hard—and trust me, it will—remember this: the future you is counting on you. The version of you that’s thriving, that’s living the life you dream about? They’re waiting for you to make the tough choices now.
5 Stay Focused
What do you want YOU ! Not what someone else wants for you. What do you want YOU NOT THE SOCIETY NOT UR FRIENDS NOT UR TEACHERS ! Once you know the answer, block out everything else. Block out the negativity. Block out the doubts. Block out the people who say you can’t. Stay locked in. Keep your eyes on the prize. if it were easy, everyone would do it. But it’s not easy. It’s hard. It’s painful. It requires sacrifice. But it’s worth it. Every single tear, every single late night, every single failure—it’s all worth it when you finally achieve what you set out to do.
So, believe in yourself. Not just today, but every single day. Even when it feels impossible. Even when the world seems to be against you. Because the only thing standing between you and the life you want is your belief in your ability to create it.This is your time. This is your moment. The question is: will you step up and take it?Stop making excuses. Start making progress. Believe in yourself, and watch how your life transforms. I'm proud of u !

♡︎𝓟𝓲𝓬𝓴 𝓐 𝓟𝓲𝓵𝓮: 𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓛𝓲𝓯𝓮 𝓘𝓷 2025♡︎
Disclaimer: 2025 is going to be an intense year. When you open your reading, please don’t expect it to be entirely positive. We will be entering a nine-year cycle, which brings a significant focus on endings and resolution. Many past issues from the last four, five, six, or even ten years will resurface. This includes personal, social, and global concerns that have remained unresolved.Expect to see a resurgence of social and activist issues, challenges with the law, and government-related problems. Long-standing societal struggles will come back into focus. On a personal level, there will be a notable increase in breakups and divorces as people confront unresolved dynamics in their relationships. Situations that have been unclear for years will finally come full circle, and hidden truths may come to light, offering long-awaited clarity. This will not be an easy year for many of us. It’s important to understand that this isn’t just about negativity; it’s about depth and transformation. For many, this will be a time of purging old patterns, renewing perspectives, and creating space for new growth. The energy of 2025 demands that we face these challenges head-on so we can reach a more evolved state. Globally, it will be a year of heightened awareness around major issues, as events and revelations push humanity to reassess and adapt. This year will be wild, chaotic, and full of change, but it will also offer opportunities for meaningful renewal and progress if we’re willing to engage with its lessons.
Tumblr media
𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝟏
In 2025, the year will be centered on sociability, relationships, and social movement. It will be a time of connection, celebration, and bonding with others. You’ll find yourself rejoicing with friends, meeting new ones, or spending more time with those you already have. You’ll be in many social situations, not just surrounded by people but genuinely having fun and enjoying yourself.
This year, you’ll be engaging in outings, spending time outdoors in nature, and celebrating milestones such as baby showers, weddings, and birthday parties. Family will play a significant role, both your family of origin and, if you’re a parent, the family you’ve created. You’ll likely focus on strengthening your home life, bringing your family together, or even creating a family. For some, this could mean planning for pregnancy or expanding your family.
Parents will find themselves doing more with their children, creating meaningful experiences together. If you’re not in a relationship, 2025 holds the potential for new romantic connections. You may meet someone through friends or while socializing, and these relationships could progress quickly. Engagements or serious commitments may happen within months of meeting someone.
Relationships this year will have depth and emotional richness. This could lead to moving in with a partner, getting engaged, or even getting married. Relationships are placed on a pedestal, and they’ll be a major focus for you in 2025.
Interestingly, for some, an ex may return, offering an opportunity to deepen your bond. Past conflicts or ego battles could give way to peace and emotional reconnection. Similarly, family members or friends with whom you’ve had disagreements may also return, bringing a sense of togetherness and reconciliation. It will be a time of healing old wounds, letting go of ego, and fostering an agape love—a love that seeks connection and peace.
While your relationships flourish, other areas of your life—such as career, school, or daily routines—may face challenges. You might encounter delays in completing projects, missed deadlines, or setbacks in work or academic goals. Progress in these areas could feel slow or stagnant, which may leave you feeling frustrated or out of balance.
Physical energy may also be a challenge, and health struggles could arise, impacting your ability to stay motivated and productive. Financial issues may surface as well, whether through overspending or a lack of sufficient income. You may find it difficult to budget effectively, leading to stress around money matters.
Legal matters could also pose challenges, with potential delays or unfavorable rulings. This could leave you feeling as though life is unfair or that obstacles are constantly in your path. Fear and overthinking may also hold you back from taking decisive action, further contributing to a sense of stagnation.
There’s a possibility that you might need to take a break from work, school, or other responsibilities due to circumstances beyond your control, such as health or financial struggles. Some may find themselves unemployed for a time, taking a pause in their studies, or unable to afford a semester in school.
While 2025 will be a year of blossoming relationships and emotional growth, it will also be marked by delays, setbacks, and stagnation in practical aspects of your life. Your relationships will bring joy, connection, and healing, but challenges in career, finances, and personal progress may require patience and resilience.
Pile 2
This year will be one of immense growth for you. It’s a year where you will step outside your comfort zone, abandon your usual routines, and embrace significant changes. This will be a period of substantial spiritual growth, as well as development in how you take action in the world and choose to live your life. Your creativity will flourish, and you’ll grow in how you pursue your passions and ambitions. Resilience will become your strong suit as you continually push forward, regaining energy and momentum despite challenges.
By the end of 2025, you’ll likely feel like you’ve grown more in this single year than most people grow in five. It will be a busy, monumental year filled with new beginnings. You might travel, relocate, or completely pivot from your current plans. It’s a year of major transformation and self-discovery.
However, the year won’t be without its difficulties. You’ll face challenges in a romantic relationship that feels toxic and unfulfilling. This connection seems to lack healthy communication, and there’s a pervasive sense of tension between you and this person. Conversations may feel surface-level, with neither of you truly understanding or hearing the other. Problems—both obvious and underlying—will strain the relationship.
Despite the difficulties, it appears that neither of you can let go. The relationship feels heavy and burdensome, yet there’s a persistent attachment. Throughout the year, there will be periods where you or the other person decides to walk away to focus on self-love and personal growth. However, even during these breaks, the connection remains intact, pulling you both back into the cycle.
This on-again, off-again dynamic will grow predictable. You might break up for a few weeks or months, only to find yourselves back together. The relationship may feel stagnant, but there’s an underlying divine connection that makes it difficult to fully sever ties. Both of you might hope that time apart will lead to healing and a healthier reunion, but the lack of true reflection and balance in your lives prevents lasting progress.
When you step away from the relationship, your life may become overwhelming. You’ll be “booked and busy,” with little time to truly focus on yourself. Responsibilities will pile up, whether they’re work-related, financial, or personal. You may find yourself working overtime, juggling multiple projects, or taking on extra hours to make ends meet. If you have children, they will demand much of your time and energy.
There’s also a possibility of financial struggles. Overspending, perhaps as a form of retail therapy to cope with emotional stress, could lead to debt. This financial pressure may further add to your stress, leaving you feeling ungrounded and out of balance. The lack of time for self-care, such as journaling, meditating, or healing, could lead you back to the relationship, seeking comfort in the familiar—even if it’s unhealthy.
The year may also involve struggles with maintaining your home or possessions. You might experience issues such as car troubles, broken appliances, or unexpected repair costs. Burnout is a significant possibility, especially if you’re juggling multiple responsibilities like work, school, and family. This lack of balance could prevent you from enjoying life’s simple pleasures or making steady progress toward your goals.
For some of you, this challenging relationship might not even be with a committed partner but someone whose energy heavily impacts your emotional state. Regardless of the nature of the connection, the relationship will weigh on you, making it hard to fully move forward.
Ultimately, 2025 will be a year of profound growth and learning. While you’ll face challenges in relationships, finances, and personal stability, these experiences will teach you resilience and push you toward deeper self-awareness. Despite the struggles, the growth you achieve this year will set the foundation for a stronger, more grounded version of yourself in the future.
Pile 3
This year, I see significant growth in terms of your personal projects. If you’ve been working on hobbies or creative endeavors, they are going to take off and pivot into something meaningful. Many of you will discover a new hobby that becomes a big focus this year.
I also see you spending a lot of time outdoors during the warmer months, truly enjoying yourself in nature. Leisure and relaxation will be key themes for you.
For some of you, this year marks a major milestone in motherhood. You may become pregnant or give birth, stepping into a new phase of life. Congratulations to those of you welcoming this beautiful change!
Some of you will also be buying a home, renovating your space, or completely transforming the style of your home or room. I also sense fashion and aesthetic changes—many of you will explore new styles and embrace a fresh look.
Mothers may find themselves adapting to new approaches to parenthood. For example, some of you will experience the transition of sending your kids to school for the first time, bringing a new dynamic to your life.
There’s also a strong focus on personal appearance and beauty. Some of you will delve into makeup and beauty, perhaps even starting a YouTube channel or creating content related to these interests. Many of you will experience a glow-up—those wanting to gain weight will achieve a curvier figure, while those aiming to lose weight will see progress through consistent effort.
This year will be action-oriented and filled with opportunities to pursue dreams you’ve always envisioned.
I sense that some of you will face health challenges this year, possibly related to burnout or hormonal imbalances, such as PCOS or endometriosis. Others might deal with recurring illnesses or mental health struggles, including depression and feelings of isolation.
This year will call for deep introspection. Many of you will seek out spiritual guidance or take steps toward mental health care, such as attending therapy or pursuing mindfulness practices like meditation. Some of you may explore religion more deeply or attend spiritual retreats to reconnect with yourselves.
Periods of burnout and exhaustion will push you to take breaks for emotional and mental wellness. You may feel overwhelmed and drained by life’s demands, which will require you to prioritize rest and self-care.
For some, this year will involve leaving behind a job, school, a church, or an organization that no longer serves your well-being. Lingering issues from last year may continue to resurface, urging you to seek independence and emotional balance.
There will be periods where life feels repetitive or stagnant, with a focus on routines that lack variety. Some of you may retreat into isolation to heal old traumas and confront unresolved pain. This isolation could be self-imposed or a result of being physically unwell, such as being hospitalized.
For mothers, the demands of pregnancy or parenting may lead to emotional and physical exhaustion. You may find yourself protecting your energy by setting boundaries and withdrawing from others.
Issues with a father figure or baby father may also arise. There could be tension, control issues, or a lack of growth in the relationship, leading to feelings of frustration or stagnancy.
The beginning of the year may feel energetic and action-packed as you tackle projects and new endeavors. However, by mid-year, there’s a shift toward stillness and introspection. You’ll find yourself needing to slow down, rest, and focus on internal healing.
There’s a strong emphasis on catching up on sleep, meditating, and clearing your mind. While this may feel like a pause, it’s actually a necessary phase for rejuvenation.
This year holds both challenges and opportunities for growth. While you may face obstacles, the introspection and spiritual healing you embark on will help you regain balance and prepare for a brighter future.
Pile 4:
For pile number four, let’s start with the positives of 2025 and then move on to some of the more challenging aspects of your year.
In 2025, I see you traveling and exploring new places. You’ll be switching things up, experiencing versatility, and embracing a sense of adventure and zest for life. This year brings expansion, with opportunities related to work, school, or hobbies—allowing you to focus on your craft or interests. Growth is a key theme for you, as you’ll be learning a lot and accumulating wisdom.
You won’t be idle; instead, you’ll take charge of your life, making decisive choices and taking intentional action toward your goals. There will be bursts of high, intense energy, driving your ambition to seize the opportunities that come your way. You’ll act swiftly and won’t let anyone stop you from achieving what you want.
Importantly, you’ll balance this high-energy drive with moments of self-reflection and rest. You’ll know when to rein it in, focus inward, and reassess your plans. This balance between action and introspection will help you make more calculated moves and ensure that your progress is sustainable.
There will be times when you feel stuck, as if nothing is moving forward. You might feel like the past is lingering, with unresolved issues carrying over into the present. You could experience moments where you feel like you’re getting the short end of the stick, encountering obstacles and challenges that slow down your progress.
One significant theme is the need to let go of something that no longer serves you. For some, this could be a job you know you’ve outgrown but are hesitant to leave. For others, it may involve unhealthy habits or lingering situations from the past.
Some of you might struggle with burnout due to overworking or not addressing physical or mental health issues until they reach a critical point. This could lead to forced downtime, such as needing medical care or being unable to work. There’s a risk of neglecting self-care and overindulging as a coping mechanism, which could result in weight gain or financial stress.
Financial challenges may arise, with late bills, debt, or difficulty managing responsibilities. Some of you might find yourself in situations where, despite trying your hardest, you fall into difficult circumstances. Job seekers might face delays or ghosting from potential employers, while those hoping for financial windfalls, like lottery winnings, are unlikely to find success.
Relationships, whether romantic or platonic, may also be strained. Past dramas could resurface, creating tension. In new relationships, misunderstandings or conflicts may emerge, leading to frustration. Some friendships or romantic connections might end unexpectedly, leaving you feeling isolated or unsure about whom to trust.
In terms of mental health, some of you may feel moody, reclusive, or overwhelmed, preferring to isolate yourselves rather than engage with others. You might find it hard to reach out or maintain consistency in your relationships, leading to moments of ghosting or pulling back from people.
This inconsistency may also manifest in your work and personal goals. Progress might feel slow at times, with a lack of forward movement. If you’re trying to pivot in your career, success will take time and perseverance. You may face periods of stress, questioning how to make ends meet, or feeling stuck in a rut.
Despite these challenges, there’s a silver lining. These obstacles will ultimately push you to take action and make changes in your life. You’ll grow tired of stagnation and decide to take the reins, reclaiming control over your circumstances. Through determination and effort, you’ll break out of this rut and embrace opportunities for growth, travel, and self-improvement.
By the end of the year, you may look back and recognize the growth and resilience you’ve gained through these experiences. While 2025 will have its ups and downs, the lessons and wisdom you accumulate will set the stage for future success.

everyone jokes about how they'd be different if they were a vampire wizard immortal they wouldn't lose track of mortal life they'd be So Normal About It but in playing a single morrowind save for like a year now with a ton of mods im experiencing the strange growth of my characterization in it from powerless outsider with no home to wizard to becoming increasingly strange to maintain power and like
okay see i can just. you can't teleport infinitely but my alteration and vampire Jumps are so good i can just literally launch off and land anywhere in the world. space no longer matters to me. a 10 minute walk is now a 10 second jump.
vampirism means i'm immune to normal weapons and my stats are so dang high i can just stand there and even with MDMD and the 4nm PVP mod most things can't really hit me or hurt me and i have 100 ways to kill anything at will. i have so many limiting mods on to keep me from going Broken but i still have destruction 130 strength 140 stealth 150 and like it took me like a real life year of playing on and off to get that far so it feels Earned and there was a real sense of progression (excluding the vampire boost jump) but it's made me Strange power makes you Weird
and having such absolutely drunken insane power over mortal life really fucks with me doing the main quest for the first time in a decade where like
the erabenimsum are like "you'll... have to kill the warlike leaders of our tribe. we warn you they are very powerful" and i'm just like. what. you guys were my neighbors for a year at this point i could have just killed a bunch of you and changed your society in 30 seconds and you'd have let me yeah ok. hold on. brb. and i just kind of pop in and explode everyone and come back like yeah that was easy no worries.
and like i started this game deeply immersed, like taking everything slow eating different foods every day to satisfy my ashfall meters doing paintings of places i liked hanging out fishing and now i'm just this vampire Force of Will teleporting and flying and destroying things with a black-eyed glance and i'm playing with doors of oblivion and finding there is such a Bigger World out there like
i think the actual natural progression of this character is complete disassociation with the world and graduation from like ALL of this this fucker is piercing the Aurbis and just Leaving which you know is like
a distressingly resonant thematic with my own experiences and that i am playing this character as my 1:1 self insert like haha yeahthat. that. that hits a lot closer to home than i wanted it to. as above so below no matter how many onion layers huh.

Agatha's character growth re: "Agatha did not change at all during the show and just stayed evil"
Tumblr media
To be fair, I think it is easy to miss what character growth Agatha gets on the show because she doesn't finish a redemption arc—she doesn't "arc out," as Schaeffer puts it—and consequently what progress she does make can be easily overlooked.
Now to see how much Agatha has changed from the events of the show, we must first see where she starts out, and how far she has to go.
And at the start of the show, Agatha is a ruthless, remorseless, stone-cold serial killer. The world-infamous Witch Killer who actually lives up to the name. A covenless witch by choice and by her nature.
Agatha's earned her reputation. She didn't just kill witches in self-defence. Murder is our gal’s most favourite hobby and she is super cool with killing again to get her purple back.
Tumblr media
I've talked about a bit about Agatha's motivations for killing here. But basically there are multiple layers to it: The betrayal of her coven, the hatred from her own mother, has calcified into a deep distrust of other witches (and humanity in general) alongside a deep desire for control and power. Selfishness as a means of survival.
"It's not the first time your witchkin betrayed you. But you survive. In a way few do."
Even when she had Nicky to take care of, Agatha kept manipulating and murdering witches on the regular, rationalising it as necessary and unavoidable, condemning the world the way her coven condemned her.
But it's also not just paranoia and survival and deep cynicism, Agatha genuinely enjoys taking power. Not only does it feed her ambition and ego, the process of siphoning power is euphoric. And whether as a product of her upbringing or something innate, Agatha is often enough cruel.
Tumblr media
Look Agatha's brand of humour: she likes being mean, being the ultimate troll—which isn't damnation in itself—but layer it with everything else going on—her arrogance and pain and anger, her extraordinary ability to siphon power—and it's easy for Agatha to go too dark, take too much.
Especially after Nicky's death.
Let's be clear: this is not a woman with a clear, rational mind or a normal level of empathy—or a normal sized ego. This is Agatha Harkness.
What's interesting is that she isn't a sociopath or psychopath: Agatha can be cruel and incredibly callous but she can also care and love deeply—if only to a very specific few.
It is this capacity for love that brings Agatha the immense pain of betrayal and grief that threatens to drive her to madness and has made her build up her walls and defences. It is also this capacity for love and compassion that allows for her redemption.
From Covenless to Coven Two
Through the events of the show, Agatha experiences a coven true—probably for the first time ever.
Her fellow witches laugh with her by the campfire. They fly on brooms together, using a ritual that signifies selflessness. Alice and Lilia choose to save her at the cost of their own lives. Jen heals a wounded Billy, doing what Agatha desperately wants to but cannot. By the earth trial, Jen also comes around to consider Agatha part her coven, a fellow sister in the craft.
And we also see Agatha experience—probably for the first time ever—regret and remorse for a witch dying directly because of her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at how she is in the immediate aftermath of Alice and Lilia's deaths, especially as she's alone. This is someone who's killed hundreds, maybe thousands, of witches over the centuries. When Agatha plays up her staggering kill count to Billy ("I mean I've killed... my share"), with how she doesn't remember the exact number, I don't think she's kidding.
By the end of the show, it is significant that Agatha consciously chooses to team up with Billy and form a Coven True. And I think she wouldn't have done so without those experiences with Alice, Lilia, and Jen.
Billy is simply the easiest, most convenient, most appealing next stepping stone for Agatha on her arc to having a proper coven and opening up, expanding on the very limited things and people she selfishly cares about.
But En, you might be saying, Agatha clearly cares enough about Billy by the third episode to do stupid selfless shit how is this character growth?
To which I'd like to point out an interesting thing about Agatha: she tends to be compassionate in the moment, but callous and selfish when she has time to think.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at episode 3 when Agatha shows empathy and patience for Lilia after the latter is shaken by her hallucination. When Billy threatens to drink the poisoned wine, or when he's thrown through the window in episode 4, Agatha reacts on instinct and emotion.
This is why it's significant when Agatha chooses to coven up with Billy. Sure, there's probably selfish reasons for Agatha to do so (Billy's chaos magic might get her back into a body, and he's basically the most powerful witch around now) but she's essentially choosing to be responsible, as a coven "sharing burdens and blessings alike".
And it's also significant that Agatha is under no illusion this is Nicky, which she might have clung to despite all the evidence up to episode 4 or even 5. Billy is someone else's child. He may remind her of Nicky, but he does so in the most crucial way: he reminds Agatha that Nicky wanted her to be better, and believed things could be different.
Tumblr media
If you want to survive, get used to this feeling. If you want to be a witch, get used to this feeling.
It is notable that Agatha has—for a long while it seems—recognised that her actions don't feel right: She tells Nicky and Billy to get used to it, a clear echo to what she's probably been telling herself for years.
Buried deep deep down, Agatha has a conscience and compassion. As much as she might jest, she's not really proud of many of the things she's done, the things she's rationalised for survival.
And this becomes clear when Agatha admits to not being able to face Nicky. An honest admission not just to Billy, I think, but to herself. Which probably wouldn't have happened if she wasn't a ghost.
Agatha is a ghost because she's made just enough progress to go further. It's because she decided to go with her instincts, to give into what felt right, to save Billy and embrace Death, that she dies. And she's a ghost because she knows on some level that there's a lot more for her to do to become a better version of herself.

Writing Notes: Grammar Development
Tumblr media
The learning of grammar is an almost imperceptible process, and it happens so quickly. From the time when parents listen out eagerly for their child’s first word to the time when they plead for peace and quiet is a matter of only 3 or 4 years – and in that time children master the grammar of the language.
Stages of Grammatical Growth
HOLOPHRASTIC STAGE
The earliest stage is hardly like grammar at all, as it consists of utterances which are just one word long, such as:
Gone, Dada, Teddy, and Hi.
About 60% of these words have a naming function.
About 20% express an action.
Most children go through this stage from about 12-18 months.
It is often called a holophrastic stage, because the children put the equivalent of a whole sentence into a single word.
STAGE 2
The next stage looks more like ‘real’ grammar, because two words are put together to make primitive sentence structures.
"Cat jump" or "Cat jumping" seems to express a Subject + Verb construction.
"Shut door" seems to express a Verb + Object construction.
Other sequences might be more difficult to interpret (e.g., "mummy off").
But on the whole we are left with the impression that, by the end of this stage (which typically lasts from around 18 months until 2), children have learned several basic lessons about English word order.
STAGE 3
The next step is the ‘filling out’ of these simple sentence patterns – adding extra elements of clause structure and making the elements themselves more complex.
The 3-element "Daddy got car" and the 4-element "You go bed now" show this progress, as does (at a more advanced level) "My daddy put that car in the garage".
To get to this point, and to be able to ring the changes on it (such as by asking a question – "Where daddy put the car?") takes up much of the third year.
STAGE 4
At around 3 years, sentences become much longer, as they start stringing their clauses together to express more complex thoughts and to tell simple stories.
"And" is the word to listen out for at this stage.
Other common linking words at this stage are:
Because (’cos), so, then, when, if, and before.
This stage takes 6 months or so for the basic patterns of clause sequence to be established.
STAGE 5
This takes us towards the age of 4.
Children typically do a great deal of ‘sorting out’ in their grammar.
A child aged 3½ might say, "Him gived the cheese to the mouses".
By 4½, most children can say "He gave the cheese to the mice".
What they have done is learn the adult forms of the irregular noun and verb, and of the pronoun.
As there are several dozen irregular nouns and several hundred irregular verbs, and all kinds of other grammatical irregularities to be sorted out, it is not surprising that it takes children the best part of a year to produce a level of English where these ‘cute’ errors are conspicuous by their absence.
STAGE 6
After 4½, there are still features of grammar to be learned, such as the use of sentence-connecting features and complex patterns of subordination.
The process will continue until the early teens, especially in acquiring confident control over the grammar of the written language – at which point, the learning of grammar becomes indistinguishable from the more general task of developing an adult personal style.
NOTE
Grammar learning is a continuous process, but it is possible to spot certain types of development taking place at certain stages.
It is impossible to quantify such matters in any sensible way, but most children, when they attend their first school, give the impression of having assimilated at least three-quarters of all the grammar there is to learn. By making regular recordings every 6 months or so from around age 1, it is easy to see how their grammar grows, and the childish errors they make give an indication of the distance they have left to travel, before they reach adult ability levels.

– A wish come true
new year's tarot pick a pile reading ( → 1, 2, 3 )
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pictures from pinterest → one, two, three
Tumblr media
At the midnight of the new year... There are a lot of whishes that cross our mind. And even more of them stay hidden, silently, somewhere in our heart... But which one of them will be granted to you this year? Which is the one that your soul wanted or needed more, enough to allow it to manifest into this world?
Tumblr media
This is our third and last message for the beginning of this new year… A somewhat magical ending, with a glimpse of what we will be able to create and gift ourselves, through the connection of our subconscious and conscious mind. Because it is true that when wish for something', we whisper it out, into this world, hoping that someone will hear and help us... But we are the first ones to listen to ourselves. We are the ones that start to create and guide us through our reality, right to that dream that we expressed.
So take a moment. Breathe. And follow your gaze to the pile that attracts you more. The one that hides a message for you, about something that will be soon and finally yours.
{P.s. What pile did you choose? ♡ Let me know ~}
Tumblr media
– Pile One,
the book: the eight and the nine of cups
Tumblr media
This year… will be the one of transformation. Of pure and powerful growth of your persona, and of the world around you that will rush to keep up with you and all the possibilities you will discover for you.
One little thing, one little detail… And it’s like you open your eyes for the first time. Seeing your reality so differently. Almost like your perception of it, just a mere second ago, was only your imagination. The limits, the obstacles… all gone. Just like that. Just because you found that right spot from which to look at it, discovering all at once the alternative paths that were always there, so hidden and never used.
Changing place, career or studies… it will not be a scary and silent desire anymore. It won’t be a fantasy to lull you at night. It will be overwhelmingly real, but beautiful. And possible. All thanks to your patience and hard work. All thanks to your dedication and tender grip you had on this dream, never letting it go, no matter how difficult it seemed to bring it into this world.
You will make it out of this cage of circumstances. But without any rush or guilt for leaving everything and running away, hearing the disappointing or judgemental voices of others behind your back. No, you will do it the right way. The one that will satisfy both them and your mind. You will do it so no one ever doubts it, your decisions… You will do it by taking care first of what you have now, so you won't ever have regret about your choice.
It will take some time indeed, to finish up this journey first, to conclude at least one of its phases, to keep under control that impatience and at times frustration of wanting to move on… But it will not seem so long once you will do it. Once you will focus on it, this time knowing clearly why you are doing it, and without feeling pressured and forced for the first time in so long.
You will just do it. Achieve what you can, what is enough for you, and then you'll move forward, but on a different path.
It will be quite an adventure, the one you will live this year. But it won't be rushed or difficult. It will be clear and flexible. An adventure that will seem to be already so well written, leaving to you only the most fun and easy part of enjoying it, following the flow and plot of it.
{ ♡ }
– Pile Two,
the ship: the eight of wands and the knight of cups
Tumblr media
So much movement… So many things to plan, to check and to control. So many stuff to consider and to take care of as you go further… It really is overwhelming. Even if this change and progress was something that you wanted and worked on for so long. It still doesn’t really prepare you, desiring it or thinking about it, to the reality of what change is. The fast pace, the little time to breathe, the way things become completely different from one night to another, needing much more attention from you, than when they only were in the dreams you visited when you wanted. It is demanding, consuming, and it is not linear at all. It is so fast one moment, and then the other everything stops. Making you wait days, months, sometimes even years… Not giving you time to react and adapt, and once you somehow do it, not allowing you to put in practice what you prepared.
It was happening already for quite some time. Becoming the manifestation of your frustration, rather than a dream come true, the thing you wanted and hoped for so long… But finally things seem to calm down a little, as there is less and less to do and organise. And more free moments for you to just stop, look around, and see that you are finally here, exactly where you pictured yourself so many times. Where you can realise that it wasn't a mistake after all, like you started to think amids all that confusion and movement that you didn't expect in your dreams. And that it indeed was just a phase, just the beginning of a journey for which this year you will be ready for finally.
You will have more time and space, in the end. Exactly like you imagined it. That freedom, that peace, that space to grow and experience new things. Learning again to enjoy this journey, to remember why you wanted it so much, and letting go of the stress and confusion that this preparation overwhelmed you with.
You will make out of it, victorious. Holding in your hands the reality that you created all by yourself. Complete, real, exactly like you wanted it to be.
{ ♡ }
– Pile Three,
the stork: the six of cups and the ace of coins
Tumblr media
They are so heavy… those things, people, situations from the past. The ones that became pure burden, slowing you down so much, distracting you, calling your mind and heart every single time you try to start anew. They are so persistent, even when they are only a memory, that is ridiculous, just how much power something can have over you… So much that in this desperation and frustration you started to think that it was you, who was still holding onto it, who was bringing it back alive from the past.
But it wasn't really you, at least not only. It was simply all that reminded of it to you, triggered you, in such a painfully familiar way. And there wasn't anything wrong in the fact that you couldn't just ignore it like so many suggested.
You needed your time, and you took it for yourself. Even if it wasn't always so easy or exactly like you wanted… you still gave yourself that space needed to heal and fully process all that happened. Enough to clear things out, find answers, context and explanations, even if you are the only one aware of them, even if they will never listen or express their perspective on what happened. It was still enough for you. For that you of the past that felt like things never really ended, because of how many things remained untold and so strange. You helped yourself. You ended things, concluded them, even the ones that should've been taken care of by those who walked away. But you freed yourself.
And with this new peace, new understanding and acceptance, you will start to welcome in all those things that you wanted but couldn't reach. They will come to you on their own, naturally, seeing that now you are truly ready to live a new phase of your journey.
It will be simply easier this year. Taking the opportunities, making choices, trying things, working on them and achieving. Because there won't be nothing heavy on your heart, nothing overwhelming your mind. Not the past. Not the regret or silent and contained rage. There will be just you, who left it all behind. Being now able to fully open your wings and take flight.
One seemingly little thing will influence and change so much. In all areas of your life. That will start to evolve and bloom into something more, in those desires that for so long you were forced to keep just in your heart, daydreaming about a chance to live a different life.

Tumblr media
It’s time! I have unblocked the tags, seen the movie, and have thoughts about War of the Rohirrim!
There are some extremely generalized thoughts here, and then more specific and detailed thoughts are below the cut to shield them from those who want to avoid all discussion of plot. Also, I have literally *just* seen it, and it’s a lot to take in what with visuals, story, music, etc. So I reserve my right to change my mind later!
I liked it! I thought it was fun and engaging, and getting to revisit treasured sentimental things like the visuals of Meduseld or the Rohan theme from the original LOTR score are just like cheat codes to my heart.
It has canon deviations. In some cases, I can see why they wanted to make changes for purposes of effective movie storytelling (changing the location of certain events, for example). In others, I think it was probably just a desire to throw in something that folks will recognize from the movies/books even though the story didn’t need it. It doesn’t upset me, but your personal mileage might vary.
There’s been a lot of attention paid to Héra as the main character, but there are other cool women characters that have been added as well. That being said, I think the movie is still a little confused/confusing in what it thinks about the role of women in Rohirrim society and leadership. And, you know, Tolkien was confusing about it, too, which is why we are still having the “what really is a shield maiden?” discussion in 2024. But it’s notable to me nonetheless.
I went to an AMC but, alas, they did not have the war hammer popcorn buckets. ☹️
More specific opinions, kind of firehose style:
I liked Héra a lot and the old lady from the Hornburg, but I really liked Olwyn! I wish they would have made her Helm’s wife/Héra’s mom so that we could have avoided the Dead Mom trope. That would have also explained how/why Olwyn was wielding such significant authority/command over the defense of Edoras and the Hornburg even though she was positioned solely as someone in service to Héra.
They went WAY easy on Helm in the opening sequence with Freca. I can understand why — they don’t want to make Helm unlikeable right from the jump — but Helm of the books was more of an instigator of that mess than Freca (Helm swung first!!!) and he was a much bigger dick about it. I think it would have been interesting to see the other iteration, which would have been a more complex, nuanced take on Helm and given him even more chance for emotional growth.
That being said, I really liked how they handled the whole “Helm wanders off into the snow each night and scares the shit out of Wulf’s army” stuff. I thought it was really cool and very effective. Two thumbs up.
I was very appreciative that they made the Dunlending general who was aiding Wulf (Tragg? I think? Nope, Targg!) a real person — smart, strategic, not bloodthirsty, with real humanity — rather than the one dimensional “savage wild man” stereotype that has so often been the Dunlendings’ narrative fate.
OKAY Fréaláf!!! Loved that guy. Handsome, noble, loyal, progressive, showing up on the ridge with the ringing of horns just in time to turn the tide of a battle. Legend.
Miranda Otto says in the opening narration that you won’t hear about Héra in the histories and legends from that time (which you’ve gotta say, right, since she’s an invented character that is literally not in any of the histories and legends!). But I wish they had followed up on that directly at the end with a more concrete explanation for WHY she’s not remembered. Fréaláf loved her and respected her! He wouldn’t have erased her from the story even if she had ridden off to some uncertain adventure with Gandalf and never returned again! So I was left a little bit wondering still, “what happened???”
EDITING TO ADD: I cannot believe I forgot to say how glad I was that the movie seemed not to care about Héra’s romantic life at all. She says very clearly that she’s not interested in getting married, and of course Wulf doesn’t like that. But we don’t spend time delving into what she actually means or why she feels that way and we don’t have her reach some weird heteronormative realization along the way that she DOES want a man even if it’s not Wulf. It’s just stated and then we move on. Maybe she’s a lesbian, maybe she’s aro/ace, maybe she just has other priorities and concerns right now. Whatever her deal is, the movie is content to let it be without drama or judgment. And I liked that.
Stopping there because this could get quite long and I’m still thinking things over, but that’s my start!

Using the Power of Habit Stacking in 2025

Join my 3-hour live workshop on Zoom, where we will create a tailored luxe glow-up plan personalized for you for 2025. Seats are limited and are first come, first served. Click here for more info.
When it comes to personal development, one of the most powerful strategies for creating lasting change is habit stacking. It’s something I’ve been testing out in 2024 that I’m bringing with me into 2025. This method is simple yet incredibly effective, allowing you to seamlessly add new habits to your routine without overwhelming yourself. Whether you’re aiming to boost productivity, improve health, or cultivate a more luxe lifestyle, habit stacking can be the shortcut to sustainable growth.
Habit stacking is the practice of attaching a new habit to an existing one. You take a habit that you already do automatically—something that’s ingrained in your daily routine—and pair it with a new behavior that you want to establish. This creates a “stack” of habits that flow together, making the new habit feel natural rather than forced.
The beauty of habit stacking lies in its simplicity. Humans are creatures of habit, and the more you can align new behaviors with your existing routines, the more likely you are to stick with them. Your brain already associates certain actions with specific times of the day, so why not take advantage of that structure? Instead of trying to create an entirely new habit from scratch, you leverage the momentum of your established habits.
1. Identify Your Anchor Habit
The first step in habit stacking is identifying your “anchor habit”—a behavior you already do without thinking. For example, maybe you always have a cup of coffee first thing in the morning, or you walk your dog after dinner. Your anchor habit is the base that you will attach your new habit to.
2. Choose a Small, Achievable Habit
Next, choose a small habit that aligns with your goals. It should be something so simple that you can’t fail at it—this increases your chances of following through. For instance, if you want to read more, you might stack a 5-minute reading session immediately after your morning coffee. Or, if you’re looking to practice gratitude, you could write down one thing you’re thankful for after brushing your teeth.
3. Make It Specific and Clear
The more specific and clear your stack is, the better. Don’t just say, “I’ll workout later today.” Instead, say, “I’ll stretch for 5 minutes right after I take my vitamins, then I’ll get ready for the gym” The more precise your action and timing, the easier it is to follow through.
4. Start Small, Then Build
Don’t go overboard by trying to stack too many habits at once. Start with one or two simple habits and see how they fit into your routine. Once you’ve mastered those, you can gradually add more habits to your stack. The key is to avoid overwhelm and build slowly over time.
5. Make It Enjoyable
You’ll be more likely to stick with your stacked habits if they bring you joy or fulfillment. For example, if you’re stacking a habit of reading, make sure it’s something that feels easy and enjoyable, like reading something you’ve been wanting to read or something that you know will help you. The more positive your habit feels, the more likely you are to continue.
6. Use Visual Cues
Sometimes, even the best habits can slip through the cracks if you’re not reminded of them. Use visual cues like sticky notes or apps that help track your progress. For example, if you’ve stacked a habit of doing 5 push-ups after brushing your teeth (I hate push-ups but this is just an example), you can leave a reminder on your bathroom mirror or set a reminder on your phone.
7. Celebrate Your Wins
Celebrating small wins is crucial to reinforcing your habits. Every time you complete your stacked habit, take a moment to acknowledge your success. This could be as simple as giving yourself a mental pat on the back or marking it off on a habit tracker.
Here are a few examples of habit stacks to get you started:
Anchor habit: Brushing my teeth
Stacked habit: After brushing my teeth, I’ll exfoliate with a lip scrub.
****
Anchor habit: Finishing a workout
Stacked habit: Immediately after finishing my workout, I’ll drink a glass of water and stretch for 5 minutes.
****
Anchor habit: Cooking dinner
Stacked habit: After cooking dinner, I’ll clean up my apartment for 10 minutes.
****
Anchor habit: Starting work
Stacked habit: As soon as I sit at my desk, I’ll write down three priorities for the day.

So I don't want to leap right into saying "please create fascist symbolism for me" but sure, feel free to give it a try if you'd like to!
There are definitely a lot of elements you could play around with. Like the Aberdeen city council logo recently had a "futuristic" redesign that feels quite dystopian to me whenever I see it...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why are the leopards so skinny and oppressive looking now? Why is it purple? Where has the crown gone? To be honest you could redesign the city flag with the purple colour and simplified coat of arms elements and it'd end up looking the part...
Tumblr media
Purple on grey/black with the simple blocky towers and the much more aggressive, jagged looking flory-counterflory pattern would give it a suitably unpleasant vibe imo

In this house we support Aberdeenshire Shortlisted Design B

Also I figured it out, when you see it moving Design E doesn't just look generically fascist but in particular it looks like something a monarchist Helghast faction would use in a Killzone game.

#fun with flags#am i beating the fascism allegations mutuals?#everything about fascist ideology is ugly and brutal and oppressive including its symbolism. it rejects nature and beauty#just as it rejects thought and freedom#everything is crushed down to the simplest most thoughtless forms of symbolic representation because complexity is its enemy#complexity leads to the consideration of alternatives and nuances which the ideology cannot allow#because the trade it offers to its followers is that if they're in the designated superior group they don't have to think any more#because the real world is chaotic and scary and it's so so much easier to not have to deal with it any more#by abdicating the responsibility to the superhuman Leader figure who will do it for them instead#and the constant insidious cognitive dissonance between the world as it is and the world as it Ought To Be leads easily to hatred#first and most deeply I would argue hatred of the self but inevitably because that's mentally damaging to experience#it's very easy for it to be directed instead onto external concepts and groups#for instance “the democratic process is holding us back so if we get rid of it things will be so much better”#or whatever designated outgroup or external threat is held up as the problem#i'm rambling#i guess my point is like this: a lot of socialist and social democratic movements use a rose as a symbol#it has many different meanings both politically and just generally. everyone has their own particular individual memories and associations#with what roses are and what roses can symbolise#there could never be a fascist rose. by that I mean that of course you could design a suitably simple aggressive angular rose logo#but it wouldn't be a Rose any more. its capacity to carry any deeper meaning or have any links to ideas like progress or growth or nature#would just be gone. and in its place you'd have a simple thought-eliminating shape designed to mean only one reprehensible thing#i've yapped a lot in these tags. feel free to ignore it

Things that make Weirdmageddon a top-tier finale:
Every victory and ally the characters gain is essential to pursuing the next victory.
Dipper needed Wendy to reach the bubble, needed to talk down Gideon to reach Mabel, and needed to reconcile with Mabel to do anything. Then they needed to reach the Shack to get Shacktron, needed Shacktron to reach Ford, needed Ford and all their previous character development to build the Zodiac—oops! not enough character development! REVERSAL! But they still pulled out a win from having all four Pineses in the Fearamid, which wouldn't have been possible except as salvage from their previous victories.
It all builds really nicely—it's easy to get your characters running in circles to fit in enough action and/or screentime (see certain Classic Who serials), but that doesn't happen here.
Personal issues and plot problems were interwoven in a way that genuinely made resolving the former a basic step in resolving the latter.
The big problems at the start of the finale were the rift between Dipper and Mabel, the older, deeper rift between Stan and Ford, and... well, the Rift. And Bill. The finale is able to resolve all of these things together because it is, in fact, crucial that the Pineses all be able to work together; they need each other to defeat Bill. This means that, for instance, Mabel and Dipper's reconciliation is the urgent first step on every level, personal and situational (neither of them will accomplish anything until Mabel's free), and that Stan and Ford's reconciliation is a necessary condition for the last step of beating Bill. It's seamless—no one has to take time out of the plot to talk about their feelings, because the plot can only move if their feelings are being addressed.
Even more, the action works in such a way that Stan and Ford have to show character growth to defeat Bill and the way they defeat Bill then results in healing for both of them (Stan gets to be a hero while Ford gets to let go of his hero complex).
Gave time to addressing the big themes and made them structurally important, too.
This ties in to the point above, but... the fact that Dipper and Mabel's conflict (the manifestation of a much longer-running tension of "is it possible to grow up and still be happy? is it possible to be sure we'll stay in a close and healthy relationship, and not lose each other?") is given its full weight. Dipper and Mabel have the conversation they need to convince themselves, each other, and the audience that this ghost has been expelled from their futures. That's big.
And the themes continue consistently throughout the finale! They answer the questions raised by Stan and Ford's estrangement—first through Dipper and Mabel and then repeatedly through the rest of the cast—with consistent reassurance and hope for the future. It's thematically sound. That's not easy to balance with plot progression in a way that makes sense, but like. The plot can only progress to a happy ending if these themes are tested and found to be true.
Plot development and emotional impacts hinged on information the audience already had.
When the finale revealed new information (the zodiac's function, for instance), it was almost always answering specific questions the show had previously raised for fans (what's that zodiac about??). Not always true—the barrier around the town was not foreshadowed—but a very high percentage of the time.
More, the moments with a big emotional punch hinge on us realizing something at the same time as the characters and sharing their reactions to that thing, rather than reacting to their reactions. That sounds clumsy, but you know what I mean—"Grammar, Stanley." Ford pulling out the memory gun. "Get off me, Waddles!" Ford holding out the picture of the Stan O' War. The finale builds on what we already know so strongly that we can react to good or bad events alongside the characters.
(Well, except for the exact moment revealing the twin switch, I guess. We are not having the same emotional reaction as Bill Cipher there. ;P)
A fully satisfying send-off.
After the plot is resolved, and even after the eucatastrophe moment of Stan getting his memory back, we get to stick around and see for sure that everything's okay. The twins turn thirteen. Stan and Ford plan to go sailing. Soos gets the Mystery Shack. Everyone in Gravity Falls is fine. Everyone gets to say goodbye. We end on repeated reassurances that the thing the story most highlighted as crucial but uncertain will, in fact, happen—that they'll stay a family and they'll all be happy.
I'm not saying every story needs to end with a wrap party, but it was the right move for Gravity Falls, and they nailed it.

THE "LUCKY VICKY" MINDSET !
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Lucky Vicky Mindset or jang wonyoung mindset was created by Jang Wonyoung herself combining "lucky" with her English name "Vicky" (stand for Victory )to share her positive mindset that it's abt choosing a perspective that helps you move forward with confidence so this mindset is about understanding that your attitude shapes your experiences and that seeing yourself as "lucky" isn’t about chance but about the way you navigate challenges, setbacks n success.cuz It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when things don’t go as planned. Whether it’s struggling in school, facing criticism, or dealing with self-doubt, the natural reaction is often frustration or discouragement. But if u shift by thinking like : What if, instead of seeing obstacles as signs of failure, you saw them as redirections toward something better?
This mindset isn’t about ignoring problems it’s about handling them with clarity and resilience. "So how do you develop it?" u need to :
ஐ - 𝟷. ʀᴇғʀᴀᴍɪɴɢ sᴇᴛʙᴀᴄᴋs
There will always be moments when things don’t go your way. Maybe you didn’t get the opportunity you wanted, maybe people misunderstand you, or maybe you feel like progress is slow. The lucky vicky Mindset teaches us that nothing is truly working against us—it’s just working differently than we expected.A well-known example what wonnie said "This happened during a tour when I visited Spain. At that time, I waited a long time at a famous bakery, but all the bread in front of me was sold out. They told me that if I waited a little longer, fresh bread would come out. I thought, ‘That’s Lucky Vicky,’ because I could eat freshly made bread. I shared that story with my fans, and from then on, ‘Lucky Vicky’ spread instantly and became a popular meme.” It’s a small moment, but it reflects a powerful way of thinking it mean that Instead of focusing on what didn’t happen, focus on what’s still possible. This applies to bigger situations too. Didn’t get the result you wanted? It’s a chance to adjust your approach. Lost an opportunity? Maybe it wasn’t the right one, and something better is coming. Feeling stuck? That means growth is happening, even if you can’t see it yet.The way you choose to interpret setbacks determines whether they drain you or empower you.
ஐ - 𝟸. ɴᴏᴛ ᴇᴠᴇʀʏᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴅᴇsᴇʀᴠᴇs ʏᴏᴜʀ ʀᴇᴀᴄᴛɪᴏɴ
Wonyoung is often criticized online, but her response to negativity is simple: “No problem, I don’t care. You are you, and I am me.” This isn’t about arrogance or something but it’s about understanding that not everything requires your energy. If you spend too much time thinking about what others say, replaying negative moments, or trying to justify yourself, you lose focus on what actually matters. Some opinions do not need to be addressed. Some people are not worth your time. That doesn’t mean ignoring constructive feedback, but it does mean choosing where you place your attention. The Lucky Vicky Mindset is about knowing when to engage and when to walk away because your energy is too valuable to be wasted on things that don’t help you grow.Jang Wonyoung also said in a show interview : "I believe there is energy in thoughts and words. When I got anxious and negative thoughts, I tried to correct them positively. In the end, there was no wrong path even if I looked at where I am now,"
ஐ - 𝟹. ғᴏᴄᴜs ᴏɴ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴏᴡɴ ᴘʀᴏɢʀᴇss
Comparison is one of the biggest traps in personal growth. Social media makes it easy to see others succeeding and wonder why you’re not at their level. But the truth is, no one’s journey looks the same and no one has it all figured out.Wonyoung has been in the spotlight since she was a teenager, constantly compared to others, yet she stays focused on her own path.
🗝️:You don’t need to be ahead of anyone else you just need to be ahead of where you were yesterday.
Instead of thinking:
"Why am I not as successful as them?"
Try:
"What small step can I take today to improve?"
Your timeline is your own. Trust that your progress is happening at the right pace for you.
ஐ - 𝟺. ᴄᴏɴғɪᴅᴇɴᴄᴇ ᴄᴏᴍᴇs ғʀᴏᴍ ᴀᴄᴛɪᴏɴ
A lot of people wait to feel "ready" before taking action. They think confidence comes when they finally have everything figured out. But in reality, confidence grows through experience, not through waiting.Wonyoung didn’t become poised and self-assured overnight. She gained confidence by stepping into situations that challenged her. The only way to become good at something is to do it, even when it’s uncomfortable. So, whether it’s speaking up more, taking on new challenges, or stepping outside your comfort zone, start before you feel fully prepared. Confidence isn’t about never making mistakes but it’s about knowing that mistakes won’t break u
ஐ - 𝟻. ᴛʜᴇ ɢʟᴀss ɪs ʜᴀʟғ ғᴜʟʟ
I want to add something about positive and negative thinking for the setback part
People often say, "The glass is half full" to mean optimism and "The glass is half empty" to mean pessimism. The Lucky Vicky Mindset takes it a step further.
wony once said, “I was about to drink water after practice, and just about half a cup was left. I had hoped for just about half because it would be too much to drink all of it and not enough if it was too little. I am totally a ‘Lucky Vicky!’”
That it’s about seeing things as aligned for you. It’s not about forcing happiness or pretending everything is perfect. It’s about trusting that what’s in front of you is just right cuz The way you interpret situations shapes your reality so this way of thinking removes the pressure to categorize things as "good" or "bad." It allows you to move with life instead of resisting it. When you start seeing every outcome as something that fits into your journey, you naturally feel more at peace, less anxious, and more confident that things are unfolding the way they should.
So instead of asking, “Is my glass half full or half empty?” try thinking, “Maybe this is exactly the amount I was meant to have.”
@bloomzone
This mindset allows you to be present, grateful, and naturally attract opportunities. When you believe that life is working with u, rather than against you, everything starts to feel like a lucky break even the things you didn’t expect.i hope y'all like this blog and thank you for the love and support ! have a lucky Vicky day 🍀
